It was ok but needs a bit of TLC, looking a bit shabby

Sue and her husband were great hosts.

The unit was clean and tidy, but very tired and could do with updating. The bedding was not great - lumpy pillows and a duvet that left much to be desired. Also the lighting outside was disturbing and block-out curtains would be a great addition.

La decoración, la tranquilidad que se respira, la cercanía a la puerta de acceso al Kruger… Lo mejor, la anfitriona, es encantadora y nos ayudó en todo lo que pudimos necesitar. No dudaría en volver a elegir este lodge si regresara al Kruger.

Excellent petit déjeuné emplacement parfait pour partir visiter le Park Kruger ou passer la frontière vers le Mozambique conseils très très avisés de Sue et gentillesse +++++ nous sommes passé 3 fois , 1 fois en avant de rentrer dans le parc, conseils excellent pour le circuit , 1 fois en sortant avant de partir au Mozambique , conseils pour le passage de la frontière et la route parfaits, une fois en rentrant du Mozambique, conseils pour notre itinéraire parfaits ….. merci

Tout était très confortable. Petit déjeuné de très bonne qualité Mais surtout les conseils et la gentillesse de Sue . 3 passages et 3 fois parfaite réception. Localisation idéale pour le Park Kruger et le passage de la frontière vers le Mozambique

First and foremost, the staff were so efficient, polite and connected. The kitchen was always ready to serve a nice meal so we dined there also for dinner. There is also Cocktail bar with fireplace outside where we met wonderful people and shared stories. Rooms were spacious. Safe parking, close to Kruger.

Nothing much. But I can only mention that the 2 lovely swimming pools are in a bushy area with trees. Though I understand it can't be always cleaned, just a little more attention here would go a long way!

I absolutely loved this accommodation, there's something truly special about it. It's perfectly located, close to the Kruger National Park gate, the Mozambique border, and within walking distance of the Komatipoort shopping centre. Sue is an incredible host who goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, providing excellent communication and helpful information from the moment you book until the end of your stay. The entire team is warm, friendly, and welcoming. Although we didn't get the chance to try Sue's dinner, other guests couldn't stop praising it. We did, however, enjoy the bar after a long day of travelling! The security is excellent, which added to our peace of mind. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

Lieu plein de charme. Cuisine délicieuse. Les hôtes sont très chaleureux et accueillants.

Martyn and Sue are excellent hosts and go out of their way to ensure that your stay is enjoyable. The breakfasts were great and the meal we had in the evening was excellent. They ensured that my wife who is wheat and gluten intolerant dietary needs were catered for. Not difficult to see why this establishment scores so highly with travellers.

Nachdem wir zu spät am Kruger NP ankamen, durften wir nicht mehr zu unserem Camp im Park fahren. Also haben wir uns kurzfristig im Trees Too Guest House eingemietet. Ein wundervoller Ort mit super netten Gastgebern. Ich würde das Guesthouse zu 100% jedem empfehlen!

Gefallen hat uns besonders die Gastfreundschaft und die familiäre Atmosphäre!

Super établissement, proche du parc et très sécurisé Nous sommes dans une ambiance authentique. Le personnel est très sympathique et accueillant. La chambre est très grande, propre et confortable. Il est possible de dîner et petit déjeuner.

Das guesthouse liegt sehr schön in der Nähe der crocodile bridge. Die Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett. Das Abendessen war sehr lecker.

Friendly hosts, lovely bathroom, good aircon and fan, nice to get mosquito spray in the room.

Duvet was a bit small, could maybe size it up, also the mattress might need replacement soon, but overall we had a comfortable overnight stay.

Les propriétaires sont charmants, aimables et très attentifs. Les employés aux petit soin, le repas était délicieux et le petit déjeuner parfait. La chambre était cosy et la salle de bain très bien.

The accommodation was very nice and exceeded our expectations. The owners were friendly and willing to help. The room and the pool were clean, and the bar offered a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. We definitely recommend this place and would be happy to come back again!

We received a warm welcome from the hosts. Our room was neat and clean and very comfortable. The rooms have AC working wonderfully. The parking was secure and well protected from the street. The location is perfect and peaceful.

Place is a little shabby compared to when l have been there before. Gardens messy.

We had booked this as a transfer stay only. Coming out of Kruger Park we needed to stay somewhere to get to Kruger International Airport the next day. Sue and Martin have been amazing guests. So welcoming! And the guest house also had a little pool which would have been relaxing after a day in Kruger NP. Only we arrived too late. Food was amazing too. Both dinner and breakfast! In hindsight we felt a little sorry we only stayed for one night. The guest house and Sue and Martin would certainly have deserved more! Thanks also for the traffic insights. That was helpful too.

Meeting Sue was a real highlight of our trip. We really appreciated her hospitality, insights to the region and advice on the hotspots within Kruger Park. The accommodation was excellent, large and really comfortable. The pool provides the centerpiece of the complex which looks really great. We were satisfied with the the breakfast options and we also appreciated dinner on the first night of our stay having arrived in the evening. The Crocodile Bridge Gate is just over 10 minutes away. Sue will ensure you have a pleasant and comfortable stay.

+ very nice and helpful owners and staff + supper menu is very diverse and exceptional + very comfortable rooms and facilities + lovely lounge for all guests

- breakfast could be more diversified - quite awkward faucet in the bathroom (see photo), different taps for hot and cold water - surroundings and nearest village seemed not very safe, but inside the lodge it was quite comfortable

Warm welcome, very good organized, nice room, wonderful pool area, well kept, beautiful communal lounge with lots of books. I was allowed to cancel a pre-booked dinner and have it another evening, which was very friendly.

They offer dinner and it is served in a very pretty style. A hungry person coming from a day in Kruger, though, would have to take three courses ... which brings you up to 410 ZAR, which is quite a bit. I'm sure they do great food, but I wasn't lucky with the steak even on the second try. Still, a minor point in the overall experience.

Probably the best host/owner I have ever experienced. Kind, helpful, super attentive. The food, both dinner and breakfast, were excellent. The beds are comfy, the rooms cleans and well equipped. Communication was excellent, too.

Fijne accommodatie om even te relaxen na een aantal volle dagen Kruger. Vriendelijke en gezellige eigenaren, ze gaven goede tips over de omgeving en de route naar ons volgende verblijf. Accommodatie zelf zag er ook mooi en schoon uit.

De douche gaf een wat rare straal, maar verder hebben we genoten van ons verblijf.

Le lieu est vraiment typique et très charmant. L’accueil est excellent et les conseils donnés ont été particulièrement utiles pour notre voyage.

La chambre est très grande, bien équipée et superbement décorée. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et donnent de bons conseils. La localisation à proximité immédiate du parc Kruger est excellente. De plus, en ville il est possible de faire des achats en vue du séjour dans le parc. Bref, une superbe étape !
