My bed needed a newer/firmer mattress. The toilet would benefit from a better quality seat (existing one is cheap and too pliable). The building and garden would benefit from a fresher appearance.

Reviewed Sep 15, 2026Vriendelijk personeel, hartelijk ontvangst. Ontbijt was goed. Alleen jammer dat bij het take away ontbijt het vruchtensap bevroren was.
Onderhoud van , ja wat zal ik zeggen, je slaapt in een container. Wel leuk aangekleed. Maar niet echt heel erg schoon. Veel zwarte plekken in de badkamer, randen plafond. Vlekken in beddegoed. Heel erg gehorig, niet grappig.

Lo que no nos gustó es que la casa de michelle es súper bonita y con jardín , pero eso también da lugar a que entren insectos en el cuartos . Nos encontramos en medio de la noche una babosa y un escarabajo en nuestro cuarto y había bastantes mosquitos. Además en desayunos que nos hizo para llevar dejó bastante que desear, consistía en un zumo ,una mandarina, una magdalena , un yogurt y un huevo duro

Reviewed Aug 28, 2026La casa è un vero gioiello. Ogni dettaglio è ricercato e curato. Le camere sono piccole opere d'arte e la posizione è eccezionale sia per andare in Mozambico che al Kruger. Ma il vero punto di forza di questa sistemazione è la proprietaria Michelle, una vera forza prorompente della natura. Abbiamo avuto un problema con la nostra auto appena arrivati e siccome era tardi, prima ci h accompagnato con la sua auto al ristorante per consentirci di cenare e nel frattempo si è prodigata per aiutarci a risolvere il problema. Ancora non so come ringraziarla.

A loooooovely breakfast and the way they treat you as a guest is mindblowing! As soon they undersood our origin they put a Swedish flag at the entrance to make us feel welcome! Había algunas hormigas en el baño y en la habitacion, pero entiendo que es inevitable porque estas muy cerca del Kruger. Las tuberías hacen algo de ruido, pero como por la noche no se usan, no molesta.

The property was old, had a thatched roof and the room had a strong mold smell that would not go away with time. Both I and my husband had chest discomfort within the first hour. We had to book a new place in one hour and left as soon as we could. Unfortunately, a very unpleasant surprise but happy we did not need to spend the night there, we would have ended up in hospital. Another thing that I would like to address is how did this property get so many good reviews in Booking. This is the first time that we get so shocked. We choose the place due to the reviews, unfortunately, the reviews are not near the truth... or we managed to get the dungeon in the property. Very disappointing.

On entend beaucoup les personnes de la chambre d'a coté quand on est dans les toilettes. Ca ne gêne pas quand on est dans la chambre mais dans les toilettes c'est comme si on était ensemble. Maintenant cela ne nous a pas empêcher de passer une bonne nuit

We arrived late afternoon, were recomended a good restaurant and received our packed breakfast the morning before we left, between 5h30 and 06h00, after arranging our leave time. Michelle is a lovely host and made sure everything we needed was in perfect condition. The house and the gardens are beautifull and really gives a weary traveller the peace and calm you are looking for.
We slept in the 3 bedded room, and the only thing I would have loved was a double bed to sleep next to my husband.

Allerdings kühlt es sich schnell ab und heizt sich vermutlich auch schnell auf (wir waren im Winter hier). Nachts sammelt sich schnell die Feuchtigkeit. Das Frühstück war unschlagbar - sehr lecker und mit sehr viel Liebe angerichtet. Michelle war eine sehr gute Gastgeberin. Sie kümmerte sich, erklärte uns alles und gab hilfreiche Tipps. Alles in allem war das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis super und die Nähe zum Kruger ist ein weiterer Pluspunkt.

Reviewed Jun 26, 2026We had a wonderful stay. She was incredibly sweet and warm-hearted, and he had many interesting stories to tell, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Unfortunately, we had to leave very early for Kruger National Park, so we couldn't have breakfast in the beautiful garden. However, he prepared a lovely takeaway breakfast for us, which was packed with great care and was more than enough for the morning. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was nice and hot, and everything was clean. We honestly have nothing to complain about and would happily stay here again.

Their warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality created such a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. We especially loved spending time chatting with them and hearing their incredible life stories—truly inspiring and eye-opening. One of the most remarkable highlights was learning about Bernard’s journey. Living with cerebral palsy and still conquering Mount Kilimanjaro in his own homebuilt wheelchair is nothing short of extraordinary. His determination and spirit left a lasting impression on us. The entire experience was unforgettable, and we left feeling enriched, rested, and grateful. We highly recommend Kruger Allo Guesthouse to anyone looking for not just a place to stay, but a meaningful and memorable experience. They’re incredibly knowledgeable about the area and shared tips that made our Kruger trip so much better. We felt safe the entire time — they clearly prioritize guest safety and peace of mind. Breakfast was excellent and our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and the air-conditioning was a lifesaver in the Lowveld heat.

Reviewed Apr 13, 2026Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen! Das ganze Haus ist liebevoll dekoriert und es gibt neben den Zimmern noch sehr schöne Aufenthaltsbereiche drinnen und draußen. Restaurants sind problemlos mit dem Auto zu erreichen, Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Was uns gar nicht gefallen hat, war das Zimmer in einem Container. Das stand in keiner Beschreibung vorher. Es gab kein warmes Wasser. Das Frühstück war etwas karg.

Os funcionários são muito educados e estavam sempre alegres. Gostamos muito de ter ficado no Kruger Allo B&B. Quem sabe um dia voltamos à África. Muito obrigado Michelle, você foi igual uma mãe para nós. ❤️

Reviewed Mar 20, 2026My stay was for business, so I left early, before breakfast was served. I was offered a prepacked breakfast every day and that came in handy. Location is off the busy main road and the quiet surroundings was a bonus.
I was completely satisfied with my stay and price. Michelle and Bernard makes a great team and makes one feel at home.

They run it with genuine care and have a truly exceptional approach to their guests. It’s one of those rare places where you immediately feel welcome and well looked after. Their dedication, willingness to chat, and the small thoughtful gestures make the stay much more than just an overnight stop. Unfortunately, I stayed only for one night before visiting Kruger National Park, but if I ever have the chance, I would gladly return for a longer stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone.
