Great spacious room
Bar staff too brusque
Charming lounges and lovely garden .Great breakfast too
Location is excellent as is the rear terrace area. Comfortable room with A/C
Parking is limited especially if arriving on Saturday
Staff were very friendly and helpful as soon as we arrived. Room beautifully decorated, spacious and quiet overlooking the garden. large comfortable bed. Lovely enclosed garden to sit in and enjoy a drink.
sevice at breakfast was very slow. Waited a long time just to get coffee. Ran out of croissants and pastries which were not refilled despite asking. Drinks quite expensive.
Comfortable room. Plenty of parking available off the high street.
Lovely place to stay. Super breakfast, would definitely come back
No biscuits in the room, actually that is dreadful! at the end of a busy day a cup of tea and a biscuit is essential, but actually as it was such a great place I would go down to the Co-op and get some short bread. Thankfully in this case we had pocketed a spare packet of biscuits we had not eaten in the last hotel, so the day was saved, but it was disappointing. I do not want all that fancy coffee they had, just a biscuit.
Everything Exceptional value for money; very friendly & helpful staff; great breakfast; very comfortable bed; gorgeous garden
I only stayed one night and wish id booked two !!
Lovely hotel in a great location,. A good vegetarian breakfast too and pleasant staff. The outdoor seating area was most welcome and i will certainly stay again.
It would have been nice to have a lighter weight duvet in the heat, although there was an electric fan. They provided fresh milk on request but a small room fridge to keep cold water would be good, as would larger cups for tea. Also, as an older solo female guest, it would have been nice to have an offer of help with my luggage to my room on an upper floor.
Beautiful rooms and garden terraces

Central, stylish, tasteful and comfortable

Lovely location, lovely staff, great food
We could hear a generator or something from our bedroom that I could hear humming all night (room 21) so didn’t have a good sleep.
The Grosvenor in Stockbridge is a real gem. From the moment we arrived, the young and attentive staff made us feel very welcome and looked after. 😊 Our room was beautifully appointed and comfortable, while the hotel’s elegant common areas were an absolute delight. There was also an abundance of newspapers, which made relaxing in the lounge particularly enjoyable 📰☕. And then there was the bath… fantastic! 🛀 A proper luxurious soak after a long day walking was exactly what the doctor ordered! The one area that could be improved is the vegetarian food. There is plenty of scope for much more inventive and creative vegetarian cooking, particularly when it comes to interesting protein rich options 🌱. Overall, a charming hotel with lovely staff, great character and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return to Stockbridge and The Grosvenor. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Very disappointed with the vegetarian options especially for protein
Great place, stylish and perfect location.
Everything it’s so nice
Great staff and location
Room was too hot
This is a very special quaint and beautiful hotel
Nothing to say here
Location excellent. Breakfast excellent
When I arrived my room was excessively hot. The windows were shut so no fresh air was getting in. The windows only opened a tiny amount which is crazy in the current hot temperatures. The worst thing thing was the duvet was 10.5 tog. It is incredible that a good hotel thinks this is appropriate in temperatures between 25 and 30. I had to remove the duvet and sleep under the duvet covers. When will hotels start using appropriate duvets for the season
We had a garden room that looked out to the lovely garden. The contemporary decor was gorgeous throughout the building
Friendly service beautiful garden dining area excellent breakfast
The parking was good. The garden area outside the room was exceptional and inside the hotel as well. The staff were very nice and helpful
Was a bit disappointed that it was a shower over the bath which was very high sided. It wouldn't bother a lot of people but was tricky for us.
Great location on high street, own car pat and lovely big room.
Service, allergy awareness/approach could be better
The decor, the comfort, the service
Fantastic staff who were very welcoming and friendly. The room was incredible as was the bathroom. The outdoor terrace was very calm and relaxing
Nothing comes to mind.
All good Like with my previous stays.
Nothing
Very comfortable, beautifully furnished
Cost Poor WiFi Indifferent breakfast
WiFi was terrible, which when staying away for work. Made it a difficult week..
It’s a lovely hotel in an excellent location. All the staff we interacted with were very helpful.
The one thing that could certainly have made our stay better and more comfortable was no action was taken to reduce the temperature in our room before we arrived so when we entered the room it was incredibly hot.
Lovely location and back courtyard terrace was great.
No air conditioning as it was very hot during the day the room heated up and was hot to sleep comfortably
An amazing high quality hotel in every respect.
Nothing
Beautiful decor. Lovely setting and garden spaces. Great service
Breakfast service was a little overrun on the day we stayed
Lovely room - good breakfast
Beautifully decored, excellent parking, well appointed rooms, wonderful full range breakfast, friendly team
The rooms need more ventilation and a different thickness of duvet more suited to the hot weather.
Bed en badkamer
Spinnenwebben in de kamer en slecht intercontinentaal ontbijt.
I had to leave early so the chef made me a take away breakfast box
Nothing
Really wonderful stay... the room, food and staff all excellent. The hotel decor and the garden for drinks and dinner were other highlights!
Nothing negative to say!
Location, comfort, friendy staff

Great location. Characterful, historic building. Lovely garden. Prefessional, friendly helpful staff. Did not eat dinner here.
Amazing location nice staff great spaces And good restaurant. Excellent breakfast!
The rooms were very hot and no aircon at all. The fans were weak and the windows didn’t open- so it is an oven in summer!
Lovely room, excellent shower & bath, very comfy bed and the breakfast was delicious
Nothing
An exceptional hotel where all the staff show what true hospitality is. We were welcomed and taken to our room which was very comfortable and beautifully appointed . Although we were in an attic room it had exceptionally quiet AC and we were very comfortable despite the summer heat. The gardens and outdoor dining were in a delightful setting and the staff were outstanding . We sat in the summer sunshine, listening to beautiful music and it was a memorable evening . The Grosvenor is an exceptional hotel and the manager should be very proud of his team.
Nothing - it was brilliant x
Dinner was superb, excellent wine list, fantastic breakfast with lots of choice.
Outstanding

The new garden rooms are really smart and spacious, and the gardens and outdoor dining areas are really stylish.
Excellent breakfast
The only item lacking was a fridge in the room for water bottles etc.
Veldig fint hotell med flotte fasiliteter.
Personalet som deltok i matserveringen ved frokost var ikke all verdens vennlige.
Great location, lovely decor, very comfortable
Breakfast order was a bit chaotic
Location, room, comfort, breakfast, parking

Tasteful and comfortable
Nothing nice to look at from the room and expensive
Interior, rooms, staff, service nd food was faultless
Everything perfect
Beautiful old Georgian (?) property right in the centre of Stockbridge - very well decorated with style. Bedroom was lovely and bed was so comfortable. Staff were all very accommodating .
Breakfast was a little disorganised…. Ran out of eggs for quite a while, some people just gave up waiting.
We dined in the garden and the weather was kind to us so it was a lovely setting, we also stayed in one of the garden rooms and it was excellent, very comforatble, realy contemporary walk in shower, luxury bed linen and pillows., couldn't have wished for more.
It was great so couldn't have been improved.
Fine dining and accomodation experience
No comment
There was nothing not to like or appreciate. The Staff, the decor, the accom, the parking on site, the fabulous breakfast.
the only thing that stopped me giving the comfort score a 10 was I couldn't control the heating and my room was way too hot. And I absolutely loathed the fact that there was a dog in the breakfast room and the man was feeding the dog whilst eating his breakfast.
Accommodation great
Restaurant limited choices and over priced
Lovely friendly staff, beautifully decorated rooms and quality bed linen
Nothing at all!
The Grosvenor is a real little gem. Super nice hotel, very clean, super friendly staff also at the dinner. Perfect location right in the heart of Stockbridge. The garden between the core (old) building and the backside has a beautiful garden and outdoor bar/seating area. I do consider though if travelling during very warm summer days, the rooms without AC will have the same comfort as during cooler season. Certainly recommend and great location on your way to Beaulieu National Auto Museum.
Dinner portion sizes could have been slightly larger, attentative senior waiter service though
Great hotel with lots of character and history. The staff are very nice and Ricardo/Richard makes a great cosmopolitan but also made a great host for the evening whilst serving us at the bar and the restaurant. A really lovely man to chat to and very helpful and knowledgeable. We liked it so much we have booked again in June when we are back in the area!
All good, no complaints.
We don't eat a cooked breakfast and so we felt the selection of bread/pastries was a bit disappointing.
The quality of the cocktails wasn't great.
Lovely decor - location - room and staff were great too!
The bar closed early but it was quite so understandable! It’s the only negative thing though - we had a great time!
Great bedroom. Lovely breakfast
