No room service WiFi too slow

Scenic water views. The bed was fairly comfortable and there was hot water. Breakfast was nice as well

The air conditioning in the room was not the best. We couldn’t get the room to be warm. Restaurant ddnt have certain things in the menu. We would hear the worker early in the morning close to the rooms sitting and chatting away which was not pleasant

No fridge, no microwave (and cannot warm at the restaurant if you didn’t buy there) no room service…no much to do(one may assume there is) and its not easy to contact reception.

Exceptional customer service from all the employees. The food was definitely prepared with love, both dinner and breakfast, and it really showed in the quality and attention to detail. What stood out even more was how agile and responsive the team was in managing the few glitches that arose. Their willingness to assist, find solutions and ensure that we were taken care of was truly appreciated. It showed their dedication and, most importantly, how much they genuinely care about their clients and their experience.

Spacious. Clean. The curtains blocked out all light so we had a good nights sleep.

The hotel is well kept, lovely spaces that should be nice to hang out and relax in. Staff were helpful and present whenever needed. We ate dinner at the restaurant one night and the food was good and good value for money.

The dam water stinks really badly. So we didn’t want to be outside, we couldn’t enjoy the views and the outdoor spaces because of the smell. The hotel was also very empty, we were just about the only people there so there was no ‘vibe’

We stayed at this hotel for one night and it was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. Firstly, the air conditioning in the room did not work at all. The room felt like an oven, making it extremely uncomfortable to stay in, especially after a long day of travelling. To make matters worse, the sliding door could not open, so there was no ventilation whatsoever. The television was not working, and there was no fridge in the room, which is something you would reasonably expect from a hotel. When we asked for ice, we were told we would have to pay R30 just for an ice bucket – unbelievable, considering the R1 678 we paid for the one-night stay. Another issue was that there was no hot water because the geysers in our block was off. This meant we could not even shower. Maintenance came to the room and confirmed all the faults, so these were clearly known issues. Reception then offered to move us to another room, but by that time it was too late – my son had already fallen asleep on the bed without being able to shower after a long day. Overall, this was a horrible experience and extremely disappointing. The room was clearly not properly checked or maintained before guests arrived. We will never book with this hotel again and would strongly advise others to reconsider before staying here.

The location was so nice and quiet. The serenity!!! Out of this world. We enjoyed the stay . And we would do it again . We visited a local pub just around the corner and it was so refreshing to be away from the city and the busy life . The location is more slower , safer and quiet.

It’s such a quiet and refreshing place, the location is exceptional if you’re looking for an escape. Friendly staff, i’d most definitely go again.

The wifi issue, i booked a room that was supposed to have a “high speed wifi”, there was zero wifi for the 2 nights i spent.

The food at the restaurant was amazing, except the breakfast... The staff were polite and helpful. The grounds were amazing and well kept..

Changing of towels. I used 1 towel twice and thereafter I leave it on the floor to show the house keeper that is dirty. She put it again and mix with the clean one . I didn’t know which one is dirty or clean

The breakfast was amazing, everything was super delicious. The pictures doesn’t do justice to the actual place, it’s very beautiful 😍when u get there u can actually think because of it’s quietness , u can take a walk around till u reach the beautiful dam, we bought dinner which was freshly prepared wheb we go to the restaurant very fresh fries and meat

They made me pay for parking and wifi yet when I read on the book after checking in. Parking and wifi was free yet I was charged extra . We were there for a few nights wanting to watch movies , the movie was buffering for hours and we ended up switching the TV off because every attempt was a failure. Wifi did not connect our phones so we ended up going to buy a router at the nearest mall. Saturday night was a disaster regarding the guests in the other room that had a function at the conference centre, we were knocking on doors and asking people to move away from our unit as they were loud from.the evening till midnight , I feel like they should hire security to parade and check on such guests who dont respect other people's quiet time. LASTLY we opted for self catering and carried some fruits and water with us ,when we got there no bar fridge or utensils to assist us in "self catering " we were utterly disappointed having to have our things get spoiled because they arnt in the fridge for the duration of our stay. We had to go buy a cooler box , buy some ice and try store some of the stuff including our bottled water we had brought, this was very distasteful

The strict rule of not being allowed to bring our own alcohol was disappointing and we had to spend more money just for drinks. We couldn’t drink our own in our rooms and the drinks were taken from us at the gate. The activities mentioned on bookings.com like spa, horse riding, cycling etc were none existent so we were just eating and drinking and seeing the view the whole stay. Also there’s no fridge in the rooms so any takeaway you have from the restaurant will spoil by morning. Other than that, it was a decent 3 night stay.
