OMO7 Asahikawa by Hoshino Resorts

The hotel lobby was very nice. They created many fun option like board game , library , area map , story night , etc. Stuff are very sweet and polite. We enjoyed breakfast ( 2500 yen ), not too many selection but just right. Dining area kept so clean.

スタッフの対応も良く、お部屋も子供達が楽しめてとても気持ちの良い旅行になりました。 ありがとうございます。 ただ、お風呂は子ども連れには残念な感じがしました。

細やかなサービスや、スタッフさんの笑顔や気持ちのよい対応は、やはり星野リゾートさんです。 今回はとてもお値打ちな部屋でしたので、価格の点でも大満足です。 便利な街なかにあるので、駐車場はやや不便なのは仕方ないですが、今回利用した近い駐車場はすぐ満車だったので、遅くのチェックインだと荷物の移動などちょっと不安かなぁとは思いました。

This trip I stayed with the hotels within Hoshino resorts multiple times. OMO7 Asahikawa is so far best among those because of the room design and breakfast provided. However I was really concerned about the hygienic situation in this OMO7. The glass in my room was used before I checked in. I was extremely disappointed as this should not happened in Hoshino resorts. I am really hesitate to visit Hoshino resorts again. Similar to other OMO hotels the drinking water machines were located in specific floor only and it is inconvenience to the customers. Can drinking water machines provide in each floor?

아이들과 가족여행으로 갔어요! 일본 황금위크기간이라 호텔에 손님이 많았는데 프론트, 주차, 조식 식당등 어느 파트를 불문하고 직원분 모두 너무너무 친절하셨어요! 한국인 직원분도 계셔서 너무 좋았어요 ~ 아이들이 대욕장도 너무 좋아했고 조식도 대기가 있었지만 전혀 불편함 없이 대기했습니다!

家族3人で利用させて頂きました。スタッフの方々の対応も良く、快適な旅行になりました!! 個人的には朝食が最高に美味しかったです👍

Ehemaliges Grand Hotel modern renoviert, schöne Atmosphäre auch um sich in der Lobby aufzuhalten. Es gibt abends gratis Getränke in der Lobby, Bücher, kleine Spiele in der Lobby, die zum Verweilen einladen. Hervorragendes Frühstück, schöner Onsen (kein Thermalwasser). Parken kostet extra. Handtücher für den Onsen muss man sich an der Rezeption täglich abholen was etwas nervig ist. Gute Lage. Das Hotel ist sehr einladend, das Personal sehr gut ansprechbar, und hilfsbereit.

ずっと泊まってみたかったホテルです。子連れに優しく最高でした。レンタカーがなく、駅前までの交通がちょっと不便でしたが、食事・お風呂・サービス・雰囲気が本当に素敵で、家族もみな「他のomoのホテルに泊まってみたい」とすっかりファンになりました。

-the hotel was chosen due to its marketing for skiing/snowboarding. -Its a 5-8mins drive (or taxi ride) from the JR station. -the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. -The Superior room I stayed in was spacious. - The facilities of the spa are very similar to what I experienced in europe, having a warm jacuzzi, sauna, lying down hot tub, a walking pool of body temperature, and a cold water pool. - the waxing station is a highlight for skiers/snowboarders. There is a heated iron and all kinds of waxes. It's particularly attractive as I could not find waxing shops in the town (some ski resorts did provide waxing service). - There is ski rental in the hotel but mostly powder skis (ski rental was found from an upstairs shop cum guest house within 5-8 mins walking distance). - The hotel promoted free shuttle buses to 4 ski resorts. In fact the buses are local buses, while the hotel provided coupons to guests who had made reservations. So these buses were not direct buses between the hotel and ski resorts. So in fact thats was not what i expected from the marketing material. That said, the travelling time was a bit long but it did post in writing and we thought the travelling time was acceptable. -I have not tried the meals, but my friends who booked the breakfast package said the breakfast was very good. - About room cleaning, garbage would be taken away and new towels provided every day, but tidying would be done on Day 4 and Day 7. - The staff were super helpful. Due to some misunderstanding I had not picked up my skis in the hotel. I only discovered the problem when I arrived at another hotel for my second part of the journey. They then very kindly helped to dispatch the skis via courier. During the course they had communicated with me over the phone (i am not a local and we talked in english) and by email. When I tried to thank them by writing to their management, the staff refused politely saying they were happy to offer help.

Great modern hotel. Well located near the centre of town and convenient to a number of ski resorts. The room was really well set out and spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful. The public bath / sauna complex was excellent. The waxing area was fantastic and having all the different waxes provided for free was a great touch and much appreciated. Some drinks and sparkling wine were also provided for free of an evening which was nice. Parking was easy behind the hotel, and reasonably priced, just had to move your car once every 24hr period which was sometimes inconvenient but not a big deal. Enjoyed the city as well, though found it hard to find places to let us in to eat and drink sometimes. The places that were happy to have our group of 4 were all good though, just took some work to find. Breakfast was good. Would have enjoyed a couple more western options like some toast or bread but overall it was very nice. Would definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it to others.

旭川空港に行くにも、大雪山旭岳ロープウェイに行くにも、このホテルの横から直行バスが出てます。普通は旭川駅で乗りますが、このホテルの横から出るバスは始発、終着駅になるので、確実に座れます。

The hotel offers Kamui ski link free shuttle bus to the ski hill. Complimentary drinks every night of your stay. Hotel vibe is chill and lively. Lots of local Japanese also come to this hotel in addition to international visitors. They have the advantage that the ski resorts do not have, restaurants are abundant and lots of choices nearby. Wait time is needed but not bad. Advise to arrive before 6 pm to get a seat. Overall a very good hotel considering the size of our double twin beds and storage of all luggages under our beds make the room spaces. Only one small thing is that the hpusekeeping some days forgot to replace dirty cups.

以這樣的價格來說，我覺得CP值不高，大浴場小且水溫不夠熱；房間讓人感覺有點歷史了，樓板隔音似乎不好樓上一直有腳步聲，但晚間提供免費飲料跟酒很有誠意

Hotel is beautiful and modern with a cozy common area at lobby serving free drinks and a big Japanese style warm table. Design and cleanliness are impressive. However, the restaurant only serves snacks and there aren’t many dining options nearby (many are closed during our stay) so that left us no option but to order ubereat for dinner since we did not want to walk too far in heavy snow. Parking is one street from the hotel. Staff are helpful and friendly compared to other hotels that we stayed in. Overall, recommended but do some research on nearby dining options first.

Very confortable stay at OMO7. Love their free facilities like free bus access to various surrounding ski resorts and zoo, waxing station, free drinks after 7pm. Outstanding waffles in their breakfast buffet. Huge spa area. Again free drinks and ice pops after spa. The areas where they can improve are increase the number laundry machines. Using their laundry facilities can get very challenging with other hotels guest not following good etiquettes and with no staffs assistance. The lighting in the room is a bit too dim. Would be nicer to be brighter.

Very hip place for those interested in skiing. Slightly different from typical Japan hotels but still had great hospitality. Hotel is famous for its direct transport to Asahiyama Zoo and you can even buy tickets from the lobby. Breakfast is nice with many variety. Location wise is great.

A wonderful experience with hotel except that the toilet in the room is crampy and dated. Family room was spacious and welcoming, public bath with many facilites make up for the unappealing toilet thou.. overall a great hotel choice at Asahikawa!

The property is well located with a lot of restaurant nearby. Parking arrangement is slightly confusing.

Spa is good, morning have free coffee, room a bit small and no wardrobe.

朝食も素晴らしかった。他に用事がなくてもサーモンワッフルと山わさびごはんを食べにまた来たいです。

ホテルに子供が喜ぶ趣向がこらしてあり、またウェルカムドリンクにジュースだけでなくアルコール類やソフトクリームの機械なども置いてありみんなで楽しめました。またぜひ来たいです。

아이와 함께 셋이서 가족여행을 다녀왔습니다 숙소는 아이들이 좋아할만한 요소가 많은 숙소라 좋았습니다 다만 아직 저희 아이는 아직 어려서 즐기긴 어려운 부분이였습니다 다음에 더 크고 나서 방문하면 더 좋을거 같습니다 아사히카와 특성상 주변 상점가가 빨리 문닫는다곤 하지만 주변에 편의점 하나 없는건 좀 아쉬웠습니다(구글맵상 로손이 하나 있었는데 밤9시에 문닫았습니다) 주차장이 숙소 바로 붙어있는건 금방 만차가 되어서 조금 떨어져있는 주차장 이용하는것도 조금 번거로웠습니다

OMOということで期待していましたが、サービスは他のホテルに比べても客に足を運ばせる場面が多く、フロントの対応も2流でした。 また、ベッドもシーツの張りはシワがよっているなど、全体的に金額に見合っておらず地方都市といえど残念でした。

複数部屋予約の場合のチェックイン対応がもたついたが、それ以外はよかった。

お風呂の脱衣室で母89歳と孫3歳が転倒した。入り口のマットが小さくて滑ると思い避けたらこけたと言っています。右手を打ったのか内出血しています。 水はけが悪いのか滑りやすい床だと思いました。湯船にはいる段も高いと思いました。おとりよりや子供に配慮が足りない気がしました。 部屋にももう少し配慮してほしい。洗濯用ビニール、化粧水、乳液、ペン、メモは欲しい。

楽しめました。朝食美味しかった。

ロビーが広く、動物達のぬいぐるみがお出迎えしてくれてとても可愛く楽しい気持ちになれた。

予約した部屋に関して、少しせまかった。

We stayed 2 nights during the road trip to Hookkaido. 1. Ground It was renovated OLD hotel. Lobby was renovated, but room (except for decor), bathroom was VERY OLD. It was spooky when I get off at level 2 for coin laundry it was back in time capsule for 80s. Old, stained peeled wall paper and everything was there untouched. 2. Room We got Shirokuma (Polar bear) room. Has tons of Polar bear decor and kids were happy. Room was spacious, has nice views of Asahikawa. But bathroom was unbelievably old. 3. Breakfast: There was no donuts like the one from web sites. Bread was good, but there's nothing much to eat. I know it's cater mostly for foreigners but I'm quite surprised there was no green tea at breakfast buffet. 4. Parking: THIS IS THE BIGGEST ISSUE. It seems like this hotel USED to have tower parking attached, but probably too old to maintain, there's NO PARKING on site. You'd either park behind the building per hour (no in-out privilege, once you are out, you have to pay per hour), and if that gets full (in my case, it gets full), you'll have to drive around the area to find other contracted parking nearby. I had to park across the main street to park which was VERY inconvenient, can't believe there's no parking in Hokkaido. Overall: Polar bear room was cute, but location is off center and it's not convenient location at all. We had to drive everywhere, and every time I moved out from parking, I have another anxiety looking for parking nearby. I hated it. They don't even give you bottle water in room. You have to bring small plastic pitcher in room to go get it from 2nd floor by laundry room. I also stayed at Hoshino Tomamu Resort. It was even worst. Hoshino resort is just managing but actual owner is Chinese company. Cutting on small expenses here and there and I can clearly see it.

星野リゾートがリノベしたホテルなので建物は以前の名残があるがOMOブランドはしっかり楽しめる。 名物？のサウナは都合により入らず。 ロビーにいるOMOレンジャーと言う職員に周辺のお勧めのラーメン店に行ったがギリギリ間に合わず。ジンギスカンの有名店大黒屋に変更したが大正解。 朝食は名物のワッフル、山わさび丼、美しい根菜の薄切りミルフィーユサラダ？も美味しかったが 地味に置いていた筑前煮とイワシの煮付けが抜群に美味かった。 パンは種類が多くカラフルでワクワクする。 全体の品数は多くないが満足できるものだった。 全体的な印象は良いと思う。

住戶人太多，早餐用餐體驗較不好。隔音效果不好，晚上睡覺時會被打擾。

We booked the studio room for 2 nights. The room is quite small in our opinion but they actually made clever use of space e.g. orientation of the beds and having a small table in between the 2 beds. For those who would prefer more space might want to consider other room options. Staff are very friendly and helpful, sharing activity/food options near to the hotel. Hotel offer free drinks throughout the day and there are activities for kids and adults om ground floor. For those who are driving, there is a number of parking lots available arouns the hotel, which the hotel has made arrangements for guest use. Location wise, hotel is near to the Heiwa-dori shopping street (it is a very quiet street though, not sure if it is because of the timing we were there) and is of walking distance to Asahikawa JR Station.

Location: Hotel was located opposite a walking shopping street 15 min from the Aeon mall / main JR station Asahikawa We used this hotel as a base to explore the Biei and Furano region Amenities: The basement had a onsen and sauna for men and women 2 admission times - one in the morning till 830am and the pm one from 3:30pm till midnight Small onsen but works well You have to bring your towels from you room and key card to the onsen and you can wear the room wear (which you can pickup near the lifts on level 1) No outdoor onsen Parking in house is limited and at additional charge. However, hotel has a deal with a number of private carpark operators nearby. You will have to get a parking permit (at point of exit) from the machine and bring it to the hotel reception to pay so that you can get the special rate of 10000yen per entry/exit. Free drinks in the lobby from 8-10pm - sparking wine and flavoured water Nice seating all around with a book corner (all Japanese) where you can read in peace Also, some kids activities available for free in the lobby area They had a talk about the zoo at 8pm for the kids (in Japanese) and a shuttle to the zoo Room wear and amenities available for self pickup at the lifts from level 1 Rooms: Small but very functional Rooms much larger than those at the JR hotel at the train station. We had the family room which had 2 single beds and a tatami area with floor beds Breakfast Small range but has premium options like a seafood bowl with tuna and scallops Pastries were pretty good here Service: The staff were competent but most spoke little or no English They also do not help with the bags to the room. They give you a small cart to wheel your own luggage to your room Conclusion: Family oriented hotel with lots of kids. Fair bit of amenities compared to other hotels including an onsen

予約していたのに、フロントで確認できず、チェックインまだに、１時間ほど待たされました。 事前に予約確認もしていたのに、当日フロントで、待たされてしまいました。 部屋に空きがあったので、宿泊できましたが、混んでいる時期ですと、部屋がない状況でした。

バブル期に、若い方向けに建設されたのでしょうか、建物全体の空間的にはゆとりのある設計のホテルですが、室内の水回りは３点ユニットバスが中心、というちょっとアンバランスなホテルです。全体として、旭山動物園の訪問を盛り上げる、お子様連れの方の思い出作りには、最適のホテルです。また、狂犬病の注射など済ませた上で、犬と一緒に宿泊できる、というコンセプトとなっているそうで、私が、エクスペディアでツインルームを予約した時点では、ペット同伴可能なシティホテルとの認識がありませんでした。犬が苦手な方はちょっと注意が必要です。 地下１階には、非常に凝った浴室があり、サウナと水温がやや低めの歩行運動用の小さなプールのようなもの（遊泳禁止）、室内には謎の美しい彫刻もあり、とても楽しめます。一般的な大浴場を想像すると期待外れとなってしまうかも知れませんが、古代からのテルマエの歴史など考えると、この浴室が日本に存在すること自体がとても興味深いです。 一方で、バリアフリーという観点では、地下の浴室やサウナは非常に厳しいものがあります（別途、宿泊室にバリアフリールームがあり、そちらでの入浴を想定していると思われます）。 　また、カードキーシステムを採用していますが、エレベーター内でのチェックがなく、宿泊階以外にも入ることができます。団体旅行で、友人たちが別の階に宿泊している方にとっては便利かも知れませんが、安全性という面ではやや問題があります。地下のサウナも、一人一人のチェックにはなっていないので、前の人に続いて入室することが可能で、厳密には宿泊者限定とはなっていません。街は静かで、電車の音などは聞こえません。エレベーターホールの前には一枚壁があり、宿泊室側の廊下にエレベーターの動作音が、直接伝わらないような工夫もされています。しかし、隣室や上階の声などが聞こえることがあるので、もし気になる方は耳栓など用意されてはいかがでしょうか。室内のレイアウトはOMOホテルらしく、宿泊者が使いやすいように工夫して作られていてとても便利です。マットレスもほどよい硬さで寝やすかったです。室内に、ティーバックのお茶は用意がありますが、飲料用のミネラルウォーターの準備がありません。私の宿泊した階にはエレベーターホールに自販機がありましたので、そこで購入しました。レンタカーで訪問し、近隣の青空パーキングを紹介されて、１泊分の駐車料として１０００円をホテルフロントで納付しましたが、多少の距離とはいえ、道路を横断して、荷物を持ってフロントまで歩かなくてはならず、ホテルの建物直結の駐車場ではないこともあり、これは正直無料にしてほしかったです。駐車場の台数は十分に確保されています。

I visited OMMO for the first time. There were many cute stuffed animals from the Asahikawa Zoo throughout the hotel, which made me feel delighted and excited. Additionally, the lobby and room interiors had a cute, warm atmosphere, as if animals could appear at any moment, allowing me to relax and feel healed.

家族旅行には良いと思います。 元のホテルの感覚で行くとガッカリすると思います。 朝食は普通に美味しいですが、北海道に来た感動は無いレベルでした。 チェックイン時、早めに到着したらスタッフがカウンター内で打ち合わせしており相手にされませんでした。 チェックアウト時のスタッフさんがとても感じの良い方だったので気分直して帰ることが出来ました。

I stayed one night on a business trip. The entrance has a fun Halloween atmosphere. The rooms were well designed and made to feel small. Breakfast was enjoyable and tasty.

子供連れの多いホテルだから仕方ないのかもしれないが、上階の部屋の足音がうるさすぎて休まるどころか ストレスしか感じなかった。 タオルも生乾きのような臭いがして清潔感無し 部屋の設もおかしな段差が非常に足に悪く 室内なのに、移動に苦労した。 2度と泊まらない。

また宿泊したいと思えたホテルでした。

サウナが充実していてよかった。 お子さんを連れていく場合は、深めの浴槽が多かったので、安全を考えると小学生以上のほうが良いと思う。

家庭房真的空間很大，飯店環境也很美麗整潔，大浴池也讓人放鬆，早餐的海鮮飯和麵包很令人難忘，這樣的價格讓我們覺得真的物超所值！讓我們更想嚐試其他的星野飯店

I have booked a series of hotel stays for my family's trip to Hokkaido and because many of these hotel websites are Japanese only or machine-translation, four of the five hotels contact me right back the next day to confirm details, except this one... Mysteriously, somehow the date for this one was obviously wrong (earlier by two months!) while every other hotel just got everything right in the first place. Murphy's law I guess ... Yet, because on its website my booking still shows as "upcoming"，I only find out the last minute before I go ... I call the hotel to explain and the answer I got is "you can pay again to get a right date for your stay" ... Like what? OMO7 is the only hotel in Asahikawa? Shouldn't the hotel inform me about this two months ago on the wrong booking date that I was already no-show? So at least I get to re-arrange for the family trip in advance Instead, what I heard from them, is that the Hoshino Group doesn't do that.. what does that even mean?

Did not have a smooth check in process, it is done via a machine and requires guests to self check-in. We have two bookings but somehow the machine only managed to find one. The staff were helpful and doing their best, but did not speak much English and took some time to find our other booking. Good quality breakfast, with a wide selection and good seating area and cutleries prepared for children, very family-friendly. But the seating area might be very crowded and packed during peak hours so some waiting time might be required. Toiletries and pyjamas are available via self-service at the hotel lobby. Room and corridor designs are a bit dated. There are three washing machines and dryers in the basement, which are not enough for a hotel of this size. Need to be quick or queue in order to get a chance to do your laundry. Overall a decent hotel with interesting decor and differentiating factors at the price point, so I will still consider it a good choice and value-for-money.
