My sister and I stayed at the hotel at the very end of July 2026. The hotel is located in the city center, close to all the glitzy shops of St. Moritz. What surprised us was the lack of air conditioning in the hotel room. Despite the relatively pleasant and bearable weather, you would expect to get a room with air conditioning in these days of global warming. The breakfast was basic with a limited selection of ingredients. The room was small to reasonable in size, but certainly not one that can be noted as special. Overall, a basic to good level hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at Art Boutique Hotel Monopol. The room was beautiful and comfortable, the spa was excellent and we especially enjoyed the Sky Bar. Great location and very friendly service. We would happily stay here again.

Wow. Spent a week in Switzerland, and this was by far our favorite hotel. Very friendly staff. Beautiful room, and gorgeous view. Would definitely come back And stay longer.

It's difficult to go to a hotel which ticks all the boxes. But at Monopol it wasn't! From the recption to the skybar the experience was excellent. Location - great Staff - friendly and extremely helpful, efficient and knowledgable Restaurant - one of the best in the area Rooms - very comfortable Skybar - top views and service

Lovely hotel in St Moritz. Good location for our 1 night stay before getting on the Glacier Express. They had a nice breakfast and train station shuttle.

The staff were so friendly and offered us a glass of wine or Prosecco on arrival. We have travelled overseas from Australia each year and have never received such delightful service on arrival. The staff then upgraded us to a better room which was also very generous.

部屋が広く、スーツケースを広げても充分に余裕があった。 ホテル到着時に、ウェルカムドリンクをいただけた。 お部屋の鍵は、カードではなく、オートロックがかからないタイプ。 久しぶりのレトロ感を感じることができた。部屋にはスリッパ有り。 その他のリネン類、設備も充分。 宿泊当日は、他に日本人も多数宿泊していた。 エアコンはないが、サン・モリッツは標高から涼しく、窓を開けることで充分快適に過ごせた。6月下旬だったが、チューリッヒは猛暑であったかサン・モリッツは、非常に涼しく、朝晩は肌寒いくらいだった。 朝食は種類も充分。レストランのスタッフは、丁寧で、手際よかった。 チェックアウト時のレセプション担当が非常に感じが良かった。

サン・モリッツ駅からは、山の斜面を登って行くことになり、スーツケースがあると自分での移動は難しい。（荷物がない散策や、買い物程度なら移動可） 送迎をホテルにお願いする場合、余裕を持ってお願いした方がいい。 自分は宿泊当日の午後に到着時間をメールで連絡したが、行き違いがあり、結局タクシーで移動したが、チェックイン時にチェックアウト時の送迎をお願いしたら、きちんとご対応いただき、助かった。

We. stayed here 1 night after taking the Glacier Express from Zermatt to St Moritz. The hotel is in a pedestrian area so it is very quiet-our room was very lovely and there is a hot tub in the hotel. Breakfast was very good. There is a car to pick you up and take you to the train station so let the hotel know your arrival/departure times. We would stay here again!

Most hotel staff are friendly. Here they are extra friendly and helpful. Arriving after the shops closed I didn’t have the right travel adapter. Reception staff quickly found me one I could use with my Euro adapter and let me borrow it for the night for which I was extremely grateful. After a long day travelling from Budapest a complimentary glass of Prosecco on arrival was very welcome. The room was lovely and bed very comfortable. Plenty of amenities in the room. Good breakfast options n The hotel has a supermarket nearby and offers a shuttle service to the train station. I’d be very happy to stay here again

The staff were exceptional. From Bruno who collected me from the train to the amazing Sara in the wellness centre who took 30 years off me! The wellness centre has a pool with infinity edge overlooking the lake - like heaven on earth!

A centrally located gem of a hotel in St. Moritz. Well-appointed, scrupulously clean rooms with all the amenities - even a "turn-down" service which I was not expecting. Very nice! Great views of the mountains to be enjoyed and excellent dining - be it in the Sky bar for cocktails or dinner in the restaurant. The staff excelled and were 5 star quality. I would definitely go back!

Location is perfect, breakfast is very nice.

Rooms are very old, furniture is old and not to clean, the key from room is like weight from the gym, two guests have one key for both of them.

Even though we stayed at the hotel for only one night, we had a great experience. The staff were polite and helpful throughout our stay. We also had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, which was very good, with tasty food and friendly staff providing excellent service. Additionally, the location is very convenient, and the room was clean and well-equipped with everything one might need.

Bella struttura, in pieno centra e a qualche minuto dalla partenza della funicolare per lo sci. Personale molto gentile. Ottima colazione e cena! Dallo Sky bar si gode di una bellissima vista. Non abbiamo usato la SPA ma la piscina è spettacolare. Abbiamo anche beneficiato di un upgrade della camera! Bellissima ! Grazie di tutto!

This hotel was recommended to us by our travel agent, and I am happy to say she was spot on. Wonderfully located and extra clean, we had a suite and had a great stay. Also, there is a spa, which my wife took advantage of while I was out skiing and doing other activities. Would highly recommend this hotel when in St. Moritz.

Hugely disappointed. “Junior suite” is a small room with budget IKEA interior decor. Soviet style balconies with extremely low railings. Kids should be nowhere near. Breakfast was a struggle with rude and inattentive staff. We had to argue with them to get a boiled egg 🥚. Adding to that there is no AC in the rooms, no heating control in the rooms and the hot water runs out quickly. They lower the central heating at nights so the room is freezing 🥶 cold. 🥶 We were first promised a reimbursement but the manager hid from us, so the receptionist of 2 weeks employment was left alone to handle our complaints. No reimbursement was made. We will not come back. 👎

What truly impressed us is how the team did their absolute best to assist with everything: directions and guidance around St. Moritz, the best recommendations for dinners, lounges, and clubs, and clear advice on getting to the slopes. All kinds of transportation were arranged efficiently and effortlessly nothing ever felt like too much to ask. The room was immaculate spotlessly clean, elegant, and extremely comfortable. Housekeeping was beyond expectations, with outstanding attention to detail. The bathroom was very spacious, luxurious, and perfectly maintained, adding greatly to the comfort of our stay. Everything about this hotel reflects excellence service, cleanliness, comfort, and hospitality. It truly feels like a place where guests are genuinely cared for, not just accommodated. I cannot recommend Art Boutique Hotel Monopol enough. An outstanding experience in every sense, and without a doubt a hotel I will return to whenever I’m in St. Moritz.

Since leaving the monopol in January 2025 .iv looked forward to returning. January 2026 did not disappoint! On arrival the monopols own car was waiting for me at the station to collect me. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are so helpful and friendly. Very professional. The hotel has High quality fittings and is extremely clean .The rooms are fantastic and so well equipped. Nothing is left out!luxury. The hotels restaurant MONO is amazing and staff are lovely. I really enjoyed my time once again at the monopol. It really is one of the best hotels iv stayed at !

Lovely staff, very welcoming, room nicely done, sky bar is excellent. Quiet room, no road/street noise. Would recommend.

Conveniently located to all the big hotels and boutiques. The suite was lovely with a private balcony with a beautiful view. The staff especially Sarah at the reception was exceptionally helpful in making all our dinner arrangements and prompt in handling all enquiries.

Pillows are too soft as having a variety of pillows would have been more comfortable.

Don’t have 24h room service .neither 1 bottle water. I move alone all the baggage’s to the car because none was there to help me 06.00 hr. I walk 5 minutes in minus 8 Celsius to take my car from the Parking. Pay 1400€ for a hotel and services under 250€ . No way.

The room was spacious. It had a walk-in closet which was easy to get dressed.

Arrived after a long day travelling from the UK. Complimentary taxi from the railway station to the hotel and back. Both the evening meal and breakfast were outstanding. We were fortunate to receive an upgraded room, however sadly we only stayed 26 hours in St Moritz. Hopefully we’ll be back one day.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of St Moritz. Close to everything, except the train. Although they provide transportation to the train station, so that was wonderful! Staff was so nice and accommodating. They helped us with everything we needed to make our stay perfect. The rooftop bar was a great place to reset and admire the view. Wonderful place to stay!

Everything was perfect! Clean, comfortable and great staff support! Pool is awesome and rooftop bar/restaurant has an amazing view. Definitely we will come back soon!

A lovely hotel, with a bar that looks over the lake. The room was spacious and had everything you needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has a free shuttle from train station which was much appreciated Would highly recommend staying here

Fabulous spa with a beautiful view across St Moritz from loungers and jacuzzi as well as two saunas and a steam bath. Great breakfast catering to all tastes and cooked to order eggs. Modern comfortable furnishings and good big beds - pillows could be better. Very central location in old St Moritz and an easy walk down to the lake and station.

A more modern menu in the restaurant and better pillows would be nice but very little to complain about.

A very beautiful hotel, placed in the center of St. Moritz. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was amazing, very spacious, clean and well equipped. The Skybar, located on top of the hotel was amazing. A nice experience.

The staff were all super nice and immediately helped with all our requests and needs. The gratus pickup and transfer to the hotel was appreciated after a long travel day. We were upgraded to a spectacular room with the best lake and mountain views. The room was spotless, comfortable and nice extras. The spa facilities are unbelievable and relaxing. The location is perfect to walk and see the sights and the shops are plentiful. We thank all who helped us have a memorable stay.
