Reviewed Sep 9, 2026Hotel is nicely placed for our return from touring in Europe, not too far from calais. There's a good selection of bars and restaurants nearby a supermarket and train station which you can take a trip out to ghent or bruges. The hosts are always welcoming and the rooms are clean and comfortable, so we will always try to book orchidee when passing through.

Even opletten op de parkeerplaats er moet een blauwe kaart gebruikt worden.

Bij aankomst s'avonds laat vroeg mijn vriendin aan de barman ( Maurice was zijn naam) of we nog iets konden drinken. Hij antwoordde :" Dat is nu wel een heel stomme vraag" . Van personeel verwacht je zo geen antwoord.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026Easy to find, just off the motorway; plenty of parking outside and no problem checking in - the hotel gave us clear information that we'd need to check in by 4pm on a Sunday. We received a friendly welcome, and the lift to the 3rd floor and the air con in the room worked perfectly. It was only a five minute walk to the town square to find places to eat and drink in the evening. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of choice of breakfast items.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Hotel mit sehr guter Lage, einem riesigen Parkplatz vor der Tür und den Service, daß man seine Fahrräder sicher in einer Garage unterbringen konnte. TOP. Das Bett fand ich für mich persönlich viel zu weich. Das Frühstück war gut und das Personal sehr freundlich. Die Airco kühlte das Zimmer sehr schnell auf eine angenehme Temperatur herunter. Es gab einen Fahrstuhl und alles wurde mit Schlüsselwörter bedient.
Was mir nicht so gefallen hat, daß wir ein Zweibettzimmer gefragt hatten, was uns auch zugesagt wurde, "falls eines zur Verfügung steht"und dann war dem nicht so. So viel Gäste gab es nun nicht dieses Wochenende, daß das nicht hätte klappen können. UND JA, ich hätte reklamieren können. Aber ich war tot müde und hatte nicht mehr den Nerv, Abends noch die Misere von Zimmer zu veränderen. Auch der Duschvorhang und die Wc Bürste müssten dringend ausgetauscht werden. Und leider ist die Einlaufdusche eine reine Regendusche, vielleicht könnte man hier noch zusätzlich einen abnehmbaren Duschkopf installieren?

The gentleman on reception on arrival was less than friendly. A later problem with no water was shrugged off as not his fault which may well have been the case but we weren’t even offered bottled water to drink.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026Nous arrivions à l'hôtel vers 1h du matin et il a été très facile de s'organiser pour avoir un code spécial ouvrant un boîtier avec notre clé de chambre. Super pratique ! La chambre était très jolie (sobre et élégante) et les volets aux fenêtres sont un vrai must car même à 10h du matin il fait noir dans la chambre. La douche est très agréable également.
Quand les personnes du dessus utilisent leur douche ou toilettes (je suppose ?), ça s'entend dans la chambre pendant quelques minutes.

Reviewed Jul 6, 2026Hotel op een fijne locatie, heel vriendelijk personeel, een trotse eigenaar, in de kamer was alles aanwezig, het ontbijt was uitstekend teveel om op te noemen. Dichtbij kunnen parkeren ook voor onze fietsen was een aparte ruimte waar ze veilig stonden.
