Reviewed Aug 13, 2026hervorragendes B&B - so wurde es mal erfunden. toller hof, sehr schönes zimmer, lounge, terasse, parken im hof, fahrradgarage. bad mit allem, bequemes bett, ruhig, sehr sauber, ordentlich und sicher. ländliche umgebung in einer ruhigen nachbarschaft. tolle gastgeber, freundlich, hilfsbereit, kommunikativ- mehrsprachig, u.a. deutsch😉 wlan, 5G-netz, kabel-tv top. feines, abwechslungsreiches frühstück. strategische lage zwischen brügge und gent hervorragend, gerade auch mit fahrrad. restaurants, supermarkt, apotheke, tanken etc. in der nähe- 5 min mit auto. es gibt im haus einen homestay-selfservice für getränke gegen gebühr.
KEINE KRITIK -es gelten, wie sich im gespräch herausstellte leider durchaus berechtigte, regeln im haus- die im ersten moment etwas streng erscheinen und leicht irritieren können. gebühren für geschirr, kochverbot, kühlschranknutzung etc. ABER das resultiert tatsächlich aus dem spezifischen gästeverhalten. wer sich also zu benehmen weiß und vielleicht auch noch höflich ist wird prima klarkommen !

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026Die Gastgeberin Kathleen ist eine traumhafte Persönlichkeit! Aufgeschlossen, herzlich, umsorgend, spricht niederländisch, englisch und sogar sehr gut deutsch, sie war immer fröhlich und immer ansprechbar. Danke, dass wir dich kennenlernen durften! Die Unterkunft ist super funktional im Landhausstil eingerichtet, sehr gemütlich. Bett war sehr groß und bequem. Wir haben richtig gut geschlafen. Täglich wechselndes Frühstück inkl. Extras. Für uns der perfekte Start in den Tag. Die Unterkunft ist perfekt fernab des Trubels gelegen. Brügge, Gent, Antwerpen Nordsee -> Promenade Oostende und Blankenberge,Niederlande -> Badestrand Cadzand, Flanierstädtchen Sluis … alles in 30-45 Minuten erreichbar. Alkoholische und alkoholfreie Getränke gibt es gegen Aufpreis gekühlt vor Ort, um den Abend ganz entspannt und ruhig auf dem wunderschönen und großen Hof/ Garten ausklingen zu lassen. Liebe Kathleen, wir haben die Zeit bei euch sehr genossen, sie wird uns sehr lange Zeit in Erinnerung bleiben. Danke dafür! Und nochmal danke für die weißen Zucchinis!
Es gibt überhaupt gar nichts zu bemängeln. Wir haben uns ein bisschen wie zu Hause gefühlt.

Reviewed May 24, 2026We stayed at B&B Lomolen for 3 nights and would have been happy to stay longer. Kathleen is warm and welcoming. She prepared a great breakfast with a lovely selection of homemade bread and conserves. The property is very comfortable and spacious. It is well placed for visiting Bruges and Ghent and is within easy reach of the ferry ports and the coast.

Reviewed Apr 10, 2026Ideale tussensstop voor onze fietsdriedaagse met de kindjes! Vooral de warme ontvangst en het verzorgde ontbijt met zelfgemaakte broodjes zal ons bijblijven. De sfeer is zeer gemoedelijk en de tuin prachtig. Alles was voorzien en de familiekamer was heel schoon. Een aanrader!

Tout, en particulier les propriétaires des lieux Soyez prêts à dormir sur des alèses et non des draps, être à l’heure tapante et oubliez que vous êtes en vacances. Ces personnes nous ont gâché nos fêtes de fin d’année et m’ont faite pleurer alors que je suis enceinte. Du jamais vu, et plus jamais de particuliers, nous sommes vaccinés merci à eux

Reviewed Jan 15, 2026Very good breakfast with nice range of food including but not limited to fresh rolls, jams, cold meats/cheese, fresh fruit selection, yogurt, cornflakes and variety of teas. Coffee was available. Visiting our friends living in the village, Lomolen B and B was also a base from which to explore Belgium for our 2 night stay. Quiet and relaxed area. Our downstairs family room was clean and tidy, having bunk beds for two children and en-suite bathroom. There was a working tv in the room which we did not use. Good internet connection. Lomolen had also been booked by other locals living in the village for their friends to stay. Would have no problem returning.
There was nothing we didn’t like.

Reviewed Dec 14, 2025De kamer was erg ruim en het ontbijt was heel goed. Ik vond het ook super dat ze het ontbijt eerder maakte zodat ik voldoende had gegeten voor mijn hyrox race! Ik heb het gered ☺️ heel fijn dat om daar ontspannen naartoe te kunnen ☺️

Reviewed Aug 17, 2025A reggeli nagyon finom volt, Kathleen figyelt rá, hogy mindig kerüljön az asztalra valami házi készítésű dolog: pékáru, sütemény, lekvár és saját kertjéből füge vagy paradicsom. Magát a szállást azoknak ajánlom, akik nem riadnak vissza egy kis autókázástól Brugge-től vagy Gent-től (30-40 perc), esetleg Dunkerque-től (60 perc) és távolabb a zsúfolt turistaközpontoktól, vidékies, családias és csendes környezetben szeretnének megszállni. Kathleen és férje nagyon kedves és segítőkész tualjdonosok, sokmindenben tudnak segíteni és mindent meg lehet velük beszélni.
Sajnos nincs klímaberendezés, a meleg és párás napokon pedig nagyon jó lenne!

Reviewed Jan 11, 2025Nice hotel for disconnecting, very quiet place. In the kitchen there is a fridge with biers so if you are driving during the day you can still enjoy national beers. The room was big enough and we loved the bed, huge one!! On top of that, very very friendly host.
Not a lot to say but maybe location is a bit far from almost everything, you need a car. Pillow was not comfortable for me and there weren´t alternatives, apart from that, can´t complaint at all

But you have to give more than 10 stars to the hostess, she is wonderful, attentive, incredibly friendly, impeccable service, she made a special coffee for my son, and my son loved it!! She really is very special! Congratulations!! I would definitely come back!

Reviewed Apr 30, 2023We had a very nice and cozy stay at Kathleen’s B&B which is located in the rural area between Gent and Bruges. We spent the weekend in Gent, the way by car to the city centre takes ~20-25 mins. The room and all facilities were exceptionally clean, and the breakfasts mmm… Homemade bread, pancakes and jam, could you wish any more? Definitely recommended!
We noticed nothing that would need improvement.

Bed was too soft for me and blanket is too warm for this season, but it just personal feeling.
