Everything was very nice, de villages were really nice, customers service was great and the food at the restaurants great as well, very recommended.

We had a lovely stay at Kovay Gardens. The grounds were absolutely stunning - a paradise of foliage that we got to walk through every day to and from the pool and ocean. There are so many pools and the main pool is stunning, the perfect temperature and great for kids. All of the seating is premium with beautiful cushions and umbrellas. The ocean is right beside the resort and features a beautiful lighthouse restaurant with amazing views of the sunset. Waves are not big, so that’s a minus if you care about that. Our room was beautiful, functional and had a full kitchen. There is an Oxxo right outside of the property for quick supplies. The staff is wonderful, particularly Diego at the front desk! The only downside would be the food at the restaurants. The food was mediocre and quite expensive. The snack bar options were the best fit for us. If you cook in your room, venture out to a restaurant or order in, it would be best. Overall, this was a wonderful experience and we would definitely return. We’ve travelled all over the area and this has been our favourite spot so far!

The resort is very nice, staff are exceptional and the beach access was great. Everything was well maintained. Felt very safe to just walk around town.

This was a vacation we will never forget the condo was awesome. The pools were amazing. The food delicious. Yummy drinks. Great service. Beautiful grounds. Felt completely safe and at home. The security here is amazing.

The location is great and the staff is amazing. You will enjoy your time there but be careful. I have been there twice and DO NOT BUY INTO THEIR TIMESHARE SCAM!! They will make you promises and lie to you about their program. Again the property is very nice and clean, but they only want you to visit so they can try and sell you their TIMESHARE SCAM. I can tell how it was when I have been there and let others know it is a SCAM. Buyer Beware THE TIMESHARE PART IS A SCAM!!

Very shady sales presentation. You tell me you can sell me a “partial ownership” for $100k and then you will send me $20k a year for ten years for me to let you rent my weeks?🤯 The numbers are impossible and it’s not clear what exactly you are buying. Stay away! There were NO people on the beach or the pools not looked pretty but this place is just so sad as I’m sure owners have been taken advantage of!😞

Absolutely gorgeous grounds and accommodations! Dining is available in the La Palma restaurant or in the restaurant located in the lighthouse, which I highly recommend. Diego and Diana were so helpful arranging everything we needed in a friendly and professional manner. All of the staff members in every area were most welcoming.

The facilities, grounds, and service were outstanding. Our first time back after 13 years and we were most pleased with the progress of the resort. Everyone was very helpful and engaging. We want to specifically recognize Carlos our waiter extraordinaire at the main pool and Easu at the secondary pool, both couldn’t have provided better service. Great job Kovay Gardens!

We have done a lot of traveling, and this is one of the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed. The grounds are kept impeccably beautiful, and most of the staff is exceptional. We had one security guard who was rude to us on several occasions, but with the exception of him- everyone else was fabulous. The pools are gorgeous and the beach/protected bay are just amazing. I will definitely be back to this place to stay again. ❤️ Some construction is still happening, but it didn’t detract from our expertise or disturb us in the unit we stayed in. I can tell that once the complex and all the amenities are complete, this is going to be even more incredible! Worth noting is that the neighborhood isn’t close to much in terms of Restaurants and shopping, but the front desk or gate security is happy to help B order and facilitate a taxi ride. Uber also works here, though pickup can be challenging due to dropped rides.

The staff are very nice people that treat you like family . We will come back and bring the kids next time to play in the pools.

Kovay Gardens is one of the most beautiful establishments I’ve ever visited! My sister and I took a short trip for her birthday & the unit was gorgeous, clean and comfortable. The concierge was fantastic and quickly responsive! Though we knew there were other people staying there, it felt like we were on a private vacation on an empty resort— it was so peaceful, multiple private pools, beautiful gardens & the public pool was NEVER crowded. Not to mention the beachfront was absolutely breathtaking. We will be back!

We had a perfect visit to Kovay Gardens! Our 2 bedroom 2-1/2 bath condo was wonderful! And we had our own private pool! The condo is furnished with high end tiles and fixtures, and a large, fully-equipped kitchen. The grounds are exceptionally well-kept, with a feeling of tropical luxury everywhere. The staff was always friendly and eager to make our stay perfect in every way.

Kovay Gardens in La Cruz is hands down the way to experience Mexico! The resort is absolutely stunning, with multiple pools and bars that make relaxing effortless. Our villa was perfect - spacious, beautifully maintained, complete with a private jacuzzi and even a washer/dryer (a total game-changer). The service? Impeccable. Everyone knew our names and treated us like VIPs from day one. They offer fantastic excursions and are super helpful with arranging transportation. The on-site restaurants were incredible especially The Lighthouse. And for something more casual, we couldn’t get enough of Tacos Junior just across the street. We didn’t use the grocery delivery service (a bit pricey), but honestly, we didn’t need it with so many great food options nearby. Kovay Gardens won’t disappoint. trust me, just book it already!

We had a lovely time here as a family. The room was spacious and each room had its own bathroom. The housekeeping was top notch. Lourdes was so kind, accommodating, and went out of her way for perfection. The room was always clean, dishes done, and she would come back later if we asked her too. She even added an extra blanket to our bed because she noticed I rolled up into the fleece blanket every night (I run cold). Very kind. Carlos at the pool was so on top of keeping up with snacks and drinks. There are so many pools to choose from and hot tubs that are clean and perfect temperature. Oxxo is right across the dstreet as well as Taco Junior and we highly recommend it. This location is about 45-55 minute taxi from downtown Puerto Vallarta, which is a little far but still easy for day trips. Great location, great staff, excellent resort. Thank you all!

Great resort with your own beach. Had never been to a resort that was not a mega supersized with lots of people. This resort was peaceful and quiet with great staff and great beach with a lighthouse restaurant that the kids loved. Will definitely be back.

We arrived here for a sales talk about fractional ownership and/or investment opportunities. Beautiful grounds right on the beach in Riviera Nayarit. We were offered a lovely breakfast with a seasoned sales representative who promised a "no pressure" talk, and a tour of the facility. It was an interesting almost 3 hr experience.

Kovay Gardens should seriously change check out procedure. They had all our presonal details - credit cards, passports, addresses, etc. Meanwhile they still required MANDATORY MANUAL (!) signature in front of consierge. We were extremely late for the plane! My wife was crying...

Extremely relaxing resort featuring numerous refreshing pools and hidden secluded areas. A true gem. Utter peace in every room. Every corner exudes calm luxury, making it really worth every return visit!!! I can't wait to return again later this year.

Hola! Well its a retreat, its superb to get away from hustle and bustle, but at the same time easy to get out to any action! We purchased here in the pandemic and have been back 3 times since over last 4 yrs. originally we stayed on a promo at Puerto Vallarta and had to do a presentation their. We had concerns, but our sales reps and the feel of resort made us comfy! Tour seemed not to long but better than others we have been too! The guarantees seemed to good at the time and the price to purchase, but having been back and using different units and travelling to europe last year with Kovay its become an absolute deal! I think we negotiated well! We have recommended friends and family to go, and had great feed back! I wish anyone the best and good luck saying know especially when we have been paid to travel by Kovay almost to europe! Check it out, stay in the Penthouse 2 floors with jacuzzi and bbq! Amazing! Great staff, great food great destination! 5 stars you guys!!!!!

I have been using my membership at KOVAY Gardens for 3 yrs . And me and my family are very happy with it. Nice accommodation always available and excellent service. Since I became member in 2022 I can't wait to came back every year to enjoy the weather of this lovely bay. Staff very kind. I have obtained in every way what I expected from my membership.

Room was not what we expected . expected a studio with balcony. Room faced resort roadway with a few drone of foliage as a border. Room was exceedingly noisy.. very loud music until 2:30 a.m. not long after resort vehicles started moving

I love that it was so quiet and peaceful when you had your own private beach.

The property was beautiful. The only thing I didn’t like was the bed. It was kinda hard and my pillows.

Un hotel muy bonito y ideal para pasar un fin de semana. todas las atenciones fueron geniales desde nuestra llegada hasta el dia que nos retiramos. los desayunos muy completos y bien, las areas limpias comodas y seguras. pero la habitación fue genial, como para pasar alli mas tiempo. un descanso muy acogedor. la unica recomendación es que deberian tener un servicio de comida mas tarte. llegamos despues de un viaje largo a las 11:00 PM pensando en cenar, pero no habia nada disponible.

The hotel was nice and it there were washers and dryer’s on every other floor.

The property was very tranquil relaxing, and attractive. Great pools, beautiful room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The beach was nice, but the bay there was too shallow and murky to swim. The room they attempted to give me was adjacent to a very noisy construction zone, where they were building new units. After some awkward discussion, they placed us in another larger room , but at an additional 1/3 higher rate.

There was good and bad. This hotel is located on very calm water and we like to swim in the waves. Too far to drive for Puerto Vallarta activities. 30 min. drive to surfer beach at Sayulita which was super fun! Vallarta Gardens had very nice people and food but was too quiet and boring for us. They would not let us out of our 6 night booking. (We are 60 years old.)

Vallarta Gardens is a beautiful spot, the gardens are lush.. the room was gorgeous.. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pools were clean with comfy cabanas available.. but this is not the place to come if you are looking for that typical Mexican party vibe.. bar closes at 8:00 pm, restaurant at 9:00, And only one of a few bars were open.. It’s very quiet and relaxing. That’s our vibe so we loved it!!

I liked that it’s quiet and great place to relax. The staff is attentive and friendly. Besides the dirty socks we found left under the living room table everything was very clean. The food, (lunch and breakfast) were awful and inedible; expensive, bad taste. I would not recommend the restaurant food they serve there

I’ve been visiting the coastal towns of Nayarit for a while now and I’ve stayed at lots of rentals - this one is the best. The owner truly understands luxury and everyone on staff is attentive and efficient. The rooms are top notch, featuring awesome A/C and fantastic duvets to go with, and there are small carpets on each side of the bed to welcome your feet. Lovely hot shower & fluffy towels too! The resort is nestled beautifully into an oceanside hill and the lush landscaping is perfect. I look so forward to returning!!

El lugar esta impecable. La distribución de los espacios y todas las instalaciones invitan al descanso además de ser agradables y muy cómodas. Mi unica queja es que, en mi ultimo dia, después de almorzar, una mesera me interpelo para preguntarme si ya habia pagado mi cuenta a lo cual, obviamente contesté que si y ella aun actuó como si dudara de mi respuesta. Eso me pareció de muy mal gusto en un establecimiento de este nivel.

Abstenganse de ir! Vacaciones deprimentes! El hotel se encuentra abierto solo para ser vendido, no atendido.. pesimo servicio, los empleados cuentan que siempre esta en remodelacion, las albercas no tienen calentador, solo 1 restaurante sin variedad y sin horarios decentes, cierran a las 6 y no hay que hacer, en la zona no hay absolutamente nada que hacer, no nos dieron el cuarto que reservamos y al hablar con el gerente su respuesta fue "si no les gusta se pueden ir". Jamas regresaria.. si esta buscando unas vacaciones alegres con un buen servicio mejor vaya a otro lugar..

We paid for a ground floor room with a private pool and received a 2nd floor room with less outdoor space and a hot tub only.

We were pleasantly surprised by this property. We were coming from one of the swanky resorts in Punta Mita, and actually found our suite at Vallarta Gardens to be much more updated and comfortable. The unit was meticulously cleaned, and the finishes were fresh and modern. We were in a 1BR suite and loved the large size with high ceilings, plenty of windows and huge wraparound balcony. The grounds were also beautiful and well maintained, and everyone we encountered was helpful and professional. The beach was a bit disappointing (sandy but no waves and not the best view), and while there were 3 pools, they are pretty small (and one was closed). It looks like they have some nice plans in place to add to the pool areas. All in all we were happy with our short stay here and would book this property again.

This was a beautiful place to stay, the rooms more than exceeded our expectations. The staff was the best so friendly and helpful. I cannot begin to say enough about how great Aldo was he was by far our very favourite employee (and friend now). The resort itself was surrounded by beautiful gardens and lovely pools and private beach. I personally did not care for the music that was played throughout the day I expect it was supposed to be relaxing but I would have preferred something with a little more of a Mexican touch and a little lower volume. The kitchen in our suite could have used a couple of larger pots so we could have made a meal as frying pans were what was supplied and possibly a kettle. The only issue we had during our stay was we were forced into a "fractional purchase" presentation while we were there-we have travelled to Mexico for the last 10 years and have managed to never participate however the "invitation" mentioned that if you failed to show up you MAY be charged full rack rate on your credit card this was the only reason we attended. I would definitely go back to this slice of paradise but I would check on VRBO first.

My stay at Vallarta Gardens overall was very pleasant. When I arrived I was greeted by the nicest staff members. I would suggest not arriving before 2pm for check-in because Rooms usually aren’t ready till 3pm. The grounds to the hotel is like a tropical rainforest with pools and jacuzzi’s everywhere. If you’re looking for a nice low key quiet vacation this is your place! A couple of issues that need to be addressed is the WiFi. The WiFi in the room was a 2 out of 10. If you have Sprint or AT&T don’t plan on cell service which makes it crucial to have WiFi back at the resort and in the rooms. Verizon has spotty service here. The bartenders were excellent and the waiters and servers around the pool and restaurant were very helpful! Also they only left 2 towels in the room for showers the first 2 days. Had to call and request more towels once for showers. Also one thing that really rubbed me the wrong way was on the final day check out was a noon and we were running behind so rather than going to the front office to check out in person I called the front desk and checked out over the phone. (Or at least I thought I did, I talked to a human and told them I was leaving the room at 11:45am and the maids could start cleaning at noon) At 12:45pm while literally checking into my flight at the ticket counter, the hotel (concierge) called my phone 3 times and I finally picked up while I was checking bags to tell me that I needed to pay $5 for room keys. Seriously

Aesthetically great place with very nice landscaping. but very disappointed that none of the many pools had warm water or at a temperature which you could enjoy it . so, unable to go into the pool comfortably. even the rooms with private pool , there is no way to control water temperature , so water is cold . I would not recommend this place until they have an efficient method to adjust the pool's water temperature.

Very quiet clean hotel. Only downside is the hotel automatically puts 18% tip on your bill at the restaurant which put a sour taste in my mouth.

Overall we were very happy with our stay. We were met in our room apron arrival to do check in and get information. Room was very large and nicely finished. Kitchen needs a couple more items such as, couple of pots and couple of large bowls. One of our pati doors was broken and would not lock. We asked twice to have it fixed with no luck. I found that to be an imprortant safety issue. The staff were attentive and friendly around the pool, at security gate, daily housekeeping, and someone was always available to give you a ride on the gold cart. The location is good for getting to either La Cruz or Bucerias via taxi, bus, shared van ride.

Stay and hotel and staff were all okay. BUT, the focus to rope us in and sell us timeshare before we'd even sat for breakfast on day one was really presumptuous behaviour as to why we were there (we knew about the timeshare moment from previous comments, so there was no surprise). The emphasis on "too much" and expansion plans in garden seem so wasteful. The only upgrade the place needs is to extend the footpath which ends mid-lawn to the parking lot! LOVED the gardens, liked the pool and beach area, had impeccable service from all. But would not return - not much around and once a few days had passed, there was no reason to be there other than to chill. Which one of us definitely did! As for the rooms, the opulent space we had was overbearing (a fact which did not seem to apply to the timeshare unit we were shown. Size and feel of those rooms much more comfortable). How does one "fault" an endeavour to perpetuate a Citizen Kane space? The aircon felt unhealthy.

The Villa was gorgeous, the staff was delightful and helpful, the grounds were stunning. The beach was just ok but the various pools were great and not crowded at all. Loved our stay, we'll go back!

Wonderful stay in a high end 5 BR 5 Bath villa with private plunge pool. Excellent bedrooms with comfortable mattresses and fine linens. Maid service daily. Great patio overlooking Banderas Bay, main pool and garden areas. Restaurant onsite had good food and was available for breakfast and lunch-- with dinner to be also available during high season. Perfect setting on deck just behind small sandy beach cove. Staff was extremely accommodating and courteous. 25 minutes to Punta Mita or airport. Heat pump style air conditioning is a bit noisy and temp setting can be tricky at first. Hints: Ask staff to turn on AC before arrival to get fastest relief from heat and humidity. Beware of potholes and speed bumps on main road. All in all, a perfect place to relax and enjoy the location.
