Reviewed Sep 6, 2026The bed was comfy and furnishings suitable for us. Reception staff were friendly and apologized when we discovered there was no space in the carpark for our vehicle. Quiet overnight with the occasional sound of vehicles passing by, no noise from other rooms overnight but there was noise from 6:30am onwards as people started moving about and closing doors.
The property would have been luxury when it first opened, however it is showing signs of wear and tear. Towels and linen are getting worn, room needs a freshen up with brighter furnishings. Floor was not clean, kitchen tiles has dirt and a sticky mark on them which we noticed as soon as we arrived.

Reviewed Sep 5, 2026Superb location overlooking the surf and busy esplanade. If you don’t like the sound of the surf then it’s not for you. Easy walking to local eateries and bars. Level 4 on the corner gave views in all directions, loads of surfers to watch. The one bedroom suite is definitely worth paying a little extra. Warm and friendly reception staff, and parking underground.

Disappointed with the very dirty windows facing the sea, it affected the view. I paid for a sea view which is great but was spoilt by how dirty the windows were. I understand that’s it’s sea front & the salt etc is going to play a part & they don’t need to be pristine but these windows hadn’t been cleaned for a long time & when the view is the main selling point of a room that’s not acceptable. I had a friend pick me up & they were also surprised by how dirty they were. The weather was great & I wanted to sit on the chairs on the balcony but they also hadn’t been cleaned for a long time & you couldn’t sit on them. Unfortunately the toilet was also not clean & had marks from previous guests. The staff were lovely & the location was great but for the money you expect these things to be a higher standard.

Some cleanliness issues with our room including the windows being very dirty. The main reason we booked the hotel was for the amazing views but the windows really need to be cleaned. The water from the shower also leaked all bathroom floor.

The pink mold in bathroom. The smell and adour in room especially when bathroom door open. The vanity was all cracked and water flowed out of shower all over the floor in bathroom. Attention to detail was missing. Pamphlets in room were all dig eared and used multiple times. Two coffee sachets for two people.
