Reviewed Sep 16, 2026The property is right on the Esplanade with immediate access to the promenade and beach. Great views up and down the coast and also great views from the rooftop area which had seats and tables to enjoy. Excellent location for restaurants and bars and some nice shops close by too.
Nothing regarding the apartment but when the area is busy it can sometimes be harder to find a park close by. Having said that we always found a park in the same block as the building so only a short walk away from the apartment.

The views were absolutely amazing, and the location was perfect for enjoying everything St Clair Beach and Dunedin have to offer. Our host was lovely and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches, including good-quality milk provided on arrival and organic products throughout the apartment. It was clear that a lot of care had gone into making the stay comfortable. The apartment was lovely, the location was great, and we were genuinely very happy with our stay. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it!

Reviewed May 15, 2026Well the view from the apartment was absolutely stunning! In addition this accommodation has well appointed spaces, perfect for a couple or lone traveller. Easy access on arrival with good communication from the property managers. The amenities around the area are second to none, this would have to be the best spot in Dunedin. We will definitely be back.

There was a very nice touch of fresh milk and local cheese and biscuits left for us, with teas and ground coffee in the cupboard. We could have cooked comfortably in the kitchen. Every comfort was available and my Mum loved the heated towel rack in the bathroom. Such a lovely break for us.

We stayed in the apartment with the large windows over the Esplanade Restaurant, and loved watching the seals playing on the shore from the large picture windows in cosiness of the apartment. The apartment is located among scrumptious restaurants and icecream shop.
The apartment is quite bright overnight due to the street lights.

Small things like that make a big difference. Beds were super comfy and nice linen, great views over the beach. You can't get any closer!

The views where stunning and the location couldn't of been better, just steps from the beach and fantastic restaurants. The space was huge, making it super comfortable for our stay. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed in this apartment with 5 people. There were 2 double bedrooms and a sofa bed. Two of us slept on the sofa bed and it was quite uncomfortable. Also (of course) if people sleep in the living room that room is no longer available for the rest of the group. I would say this apartment is suitable for no more than 4.
