The pool was cold and the town is a little isolated for a long visit. Sadly we could only stay for one night, and the tapas restaurant up the hill was truly magnificent. Sad to leave.

Poeeehh eigenlijk niks! Enige wat misschien vervelend kan zijn is dat je pas om 09:00 kan ontbijten.. maar goed je hebt vakantie dus lekker rustig aan doen in de ochtend is geen straf!

Reviewed Jul 22, 2026Pragtfulde 500 år gamle bygninger med kæmpe velplejet have, tennisbane og masser af charme. Det perfekte sted at slukke mobilen, slappe af og fordybe sig i en god bog. Dejlig pool. God morgenmad og skønne værelser. Personalet var yderst venligt og imødekommende. Gode fiskerestauranter i nærheden med yderst rimelige priser.

Reviewed Jul 19, 2026Heerlijk gelegen grote kamer, we zaten op het hoekje met prachtig uitzicht. Heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt. Vriendelijke gastvrouw en personeel. Groot terrein met veel groen Tip, parkeer bij metrostation Senhora d' Hora , voor geen stress te parkeren in centrum Porto.
Helaas was het wat fris, zodat we niet hebben gezwommen in het prachtige grote zwembad.

Reviewed Apr 21, 2026We stayed for two nights in our own little villa with two bedrooms. We felt very comfortable and quite like at home. The interior is very warm and welcoming. At arrival the owner helped us with information about restaurants and places to visit. The whole outside area is very beautiful and vast. There is a pool, a tennis court, a common terrace and so many different plants and flowers everywhere. The breakfast was also really good with fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, croissants, fresh orange juice and very good coffee. All in all we enjoyed our stay very much.

Reviewed Sep 10, 2025Das Frühstück war einmalig und sehr gut. Der Wohnraum im Appartement war schön eingerichtet und ausreichend groß. Die Außenanlagen auf dem Grundstück.
Der Duschkopf entspricht überhaupt nicht solch einem Hotel. Ein mickriger Wasserstrahl und der Duschkopf hält nicht. Bei dem Preis hätten wir uns einen schöneren Empfang gewünscht. Zum Bespiel mit dem Angebot, etwas zu trinken zu bekommen. Schließlich kamen wir nach einer längeren Wanderung dort an. Es war sehr geschäftsmäßig. Auch im Kühlschrank im Appartement stand nichts. Es gab auch keinerlei Obst oder sonst eine Klitzekleinigkeit an Aufmerksamkeit. Das Kaffee- und Teeangebot im Appartement war sehr dürftig. Es gab keine Milch. Aber immerhin 2 Nescafe- und 3 TeeBeutel. Der Straßenlärm war in unserem Appartement nicht ganz zu überhören.

Die Kirchenglocken ersparen den Blick auf die Uhr ;) Sehr schönes, absolut ruhiges 50m²Zimmer mit Meerblick oben beim pool mit großer Terrasse, bequemen Sesseln mit Polster und Tisch samt Beleuchtung. Es gibt Sonnenliegen, Duschen und einen schattigen Tennisplatz. Auch das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Großzügige, gepflegte Blumen,-und Pflanzenreiche Gartenanlage. Schattiger Privatparkplatzt im Innenbereich. Nette kleine, lokale Tavernen zum Abendessen in der Umgebung, nahe beim Strand. Sehr stimmiger, schöner Frühstücksraum mit großer schattiger Terrasse davor.
Die frische Früchteauswahl zum Frühstück könnte besser sein. Und die Rezeption ist nur sehr sporadisch besetzt, man muss halt anrufen, wenn nötig.

Reviewed Jun 3, 2025A quinta é o melhor local que estive no norte de Portugal. Tem um equilíbrio cultural donde mantém o património do Solar familiar e as áreas de jardim são deslumbrantes. Relaxados na piscina ao som dos pássaros e a brisa do mar. A proprietária Sra. Fátima é muito atenciosa, com enorme carisma. Os colaboradores são simpáticos. O pequeno almoço é excelente com alta qualidade. É um local para desconectar do stress e relaxar num ambiente único e de paz. Recomendo a todos passarem no mínimo 5 dias. Obrigado pelos amenities e " atenção ao detalhe".

Reviewed Oct 30, 2024Un posto incantevole non lontano da Viana do Castelo. Si tratta di un’antica magione che ha mantenuto intatto il suo fascino. Molto buona la colazione e davvero bella la piscina. Una menzione speciale per Vanessa che ci ha accolti con cortesia e professionalità! Siamo stati solo una notte ma non saremmo più andati via!

Reviewed Aug 30, 2024Emplacement correspondant à nos attentes : au calme, pas trop loin du bord de mer avec à proximité de bons restaurants (conseillés par notre hôtesse). Le petit-déjeuner était varié et de bonne qualité. Le parc entourant la propriété (très vaste) était somptueux et parfaitement entretenu. Piscine de grande surface et bien équipée pour se relaxer.
Le terrain de tennis mériterait un rafraichissement : sol à repeindre et filet à changer.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2024La Quinta est très belle, incroyablement bien entretenue. Petit déjeuner excellentissime.
Nous n'avions pas de climatisation dans la chambre et il faisait chaud. Nous ne pouvions pas laisser la fenetre ouverte à cause des moustiques. Et un soir il y a eu un manque d'eau chaude, nous avons attendu que ça se rétablisse, comme ce n'était pas le cas jusqu'au lendemain matin, nous avons prévenu la réception qui a immédiatement réparé l'appareil qui chauffe l'eau. Ils ont été très réactifs et à l'écoute. Musique forte en continue du matin au soir venue de voisins.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2024Le petit déjeuner absolument délicieux, varié et produits maison et de qualité ainsi que le cadre raffiné aussi bien intérieur qu’extérieur. La qualité de la literie et du linge. Le confort et la décoration des différents coins salon La piscine calme propre et bien aménagée. La salle de sport.
Prendre les repas en dehors avec une offre limitée à côté de l’hôtel.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2024Todo perfecto. El hotel no puede ser más bonito, todas las instalaciones están perfectamente cuidadas y son muy agradables. Las habitaciones muy cómodas y con todo lo necesario para disfrutar de una semana de vacaciones. Todo el personal del hotel fue muy amable y servicial con nosotros. Mención especial para el desayuno, todo buenisimo. Viajamos con una niña de dos años, y todo fueron facilidades por parte del personal. Repetiremos seguro
