Hotel Angela - Adults Recommended

This hotel is beautiful. Directly across from the beach with numerous bars and restaurants close by. It is also only about 5/6 mins walk from Los Boliches train station. The deluxe junior suite is so spacious and tastefully decorated. Access to the rooftop pool, indoor pool and sauna is great. Staff are extremely friendly and willing to help in anyway. This is my 2nd time staying here and I can’t wait to go back.

I genuinely could not find fault with this hotel.

( on peut être très très loin!!), le wifi très très faible , les serviettes de piscine payantes ( 1e pour les changer!) , frigo verrouillé à notre arrivée avec manque de réactivité Glaçons ( pour la chambre ) facturés 2e50 Hôtel vieillissant qui ne mérite pas 4 étoiles ! Pour finir , tout est payant

The location was excellent, and an easy walk from the train station. The breakfast was very good.

La habitación que nos dieron era muy antigua y no estaba limpia, las toallas estaban sucias, manchadas de maquillaje y con huecos. Da pena, venden esto como un 4 estrellas peor en realidad solo se paga la ubicación.

Das Zimmer war schön und sauber. Das Personal ist nett und freundlich. Die Aussicht ist schön. Es ist ein schönes, neues und sauberes Hotel.

Leider ist das Hotel und die Führung sehr unprofessionell! Wir haben eine Junior Suite Deluxe gebucht, mit offenem Badezimmer und größerer Terasse. Nachdem wir im Zimmer angekommen sind war es eine Suite ohne offenem Badezimmer und normaler Terrasse. Dies haben wir gemeldet. Erst meine das Hotel es sei egal, dass es kein Unterschied sei ob das Bad offen oder geschlossen ist und ob es eine kleine oder große Terrasse ist, weiter hat das Hotel gesagt die Bilder in der Anzeige sind falsch und dass es ein Missverstädnis ist. In der Anzeige und Reservierung war deutlich Junior Suite Deluxe beschrieben und nicht eine normale Junior Suite. Dies sind auch die Unterschiede der Suite. Wir wurden auf den nächsten Tag vertröstet und so weiter. Wir haben weder das Zimmer noch eine Entschädigung erhalten. Meine Verlobte hatte Geburtstag , das Zimmer und die Terrasse waren für der Grund aus welchem wir gebucht hatten. Das ist ein Scam das Hotel überbucht das Zimmer und verteilt folgend auf fast gleiche Zimmer. Ich empfehle das Hotel bedingt weiter. Auf den Terrassen ist es extremst laut, dafür kann das Hotel nichts. Die Lage ist gut weil alles in der Nähe ist, jedoch extremst laut.

Nos gustó todo. Solo abrir la puerta nos quedamos impresionados con la habitación. Una presentación excelente, grande, con dos ambientes, de limpieza genial... Además del aire acondicionado tenía un ventilador de techo, una bañera exenta integrada en dormitorio e independiente al baño. El water estaba separado del resto y tenía también zona de ducha. El personal encantador y amable, desayuno muy completo y además nos dejaron utilizar las instalaciones del hotel hasta el final del día de salida. Genial!!!! Si le tuviese que poner algún pero sería que además nos hubiese gustado poder reservar también con antelación el parking.

Junior suite was fabulous, generous size and very clean. Super king bed was very comfortable. Powerful shower, large bath & comfy furniture on the balcony was also appreciated. Hotel itself feels modern and luxurious and the staff are very friendly. We had a surprise gift of sparkling wine in an ice bucket for my partners birthday which was lovely.

The aircon system was the most confusing I've ever seen in a hotel room, if we were staying more than one night I would have asked for assistance with it as the room did become pretty warm overnight. Although fine for us as a couple, be aware the bath in the junior suites is next to the bed and the shower opens directly to a double sink area which forms part of the large open plan design ie. there are no doors for privacy!

J’ai passé un séjour absolument magnifique dans cet hôtel ! Tout était parfait du début à la fin. Le personnel est très gentil, accueillant, professionnel et toujours disponible pour répondre aux besoins des clients. L’emplacement est idéal, juste en face de la mer, avec une vue magnifique et une atmosphère très agréable. La piscine est propre et bien entretenue, et la vue panoramique est tout simplement superbe, notamment au coucher du soleil. La suite était confortable, propre et agréable, avec une belle attention portée aux détails. L’hôtel est également très bien entretenu et offre un cadre idéal pour se détendre et profiter pleinement de son séjour. Un grand merci à toute l’équipe pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel et j’y retournerai avec grand plaisir !

Meillä oli ihan täydellinen loma! Kaikkialla hotellissa oli siistiä, ruoka oli hyvää ja henkilökunta oli ystävällistä. huoneemme oli hiljainen ja aivan ihana isolla sängyllä ja ammeella. Parvekkeella oli pehmeät mukavat tuolit istua, sekä näkymät sieltä olivat kauniit. Kaikista eniten kuitenkin pidin kattoterassin uima- altaasta, missä pääsi pakoon kaikkea kaupungin ihmisvilinää ja hälinää, sekä drinkit siellä oli hienoja. Kaikenkaikkiaan henkilökunta, hotelli ja sen palvelut sai meidät tuntemaan olon tervetulleeksi ja kuin meistä olisi pidetty erityisesti huolta. Kiitos sydämellisesti vielä koko tiimille ihanasta ja unohtumattomasta lomasta!

Cuando elegi la habitacion en booking, la escogi cuando vi las fotos, tenia una bañera a los pies de la cama, la habitacion que me.dieron no tenia la bañera asi, la bañera estaba en el baño, y no tenia dosificadores de jabon, te tenias que salir de la bañera, ir a la ducha, y alli cogias el gel,

Estar situado en primera linea de playa. Muy profesional el personal de recepción siendo muy bien atendido. El espectáculo musical por las noches en la terraza de la planta alta de las habitaciones premium que podíamos presenciar.

El parking muy pequeño y cuándo llegamos no había plaza libre hasta el día siguiente y pasé un infierno para conseguir aparca el primer día..

Points positifs : La chambre est spacieuse et agréable. J’ai particulièrement apprécié le concept Premium, qui permet de bénéficier d’un accès privilégié à la piscine du rooftop au 7ᵉ étage, avec moins de monde, ainsi qu’à un espace privé réservé aux clients Premium où des rafraîchissements sont proposés. Le petit-déjeuner est également un vrai point fort : complet, varié et avec beaucoup de choix.

J’avais demandé un grand lit, mais nous avons eu deux lits simples rapprochés. Cela était assez inconfortable, notamment parce que la literie était instable et les deux lits avaient tendance à bouger. La télévision satellite ne fonctionnait pas pendant notre séjour. On nous a indiqué qu’il s’agissait d’un problème externe, mais après une semaine, le problème n’avait toujours pas été résolu. Le réfrigérateur ne refroidissait pas correctement et nous avons dû intervenir auprès de la réception pour qu’il soit finalement changé. Nous avons également eu une odeur désagréable qui remontait régulièrement de la douche. Enfin, dans la piscine extérieure commune, certains clients se lèvent très tôt pour réserver les transats avec leurs serviettes, ce qui rend difficitle d’en trouver un plus tard dans la journée.

Mi estancia en este hotel ha sido fantástica. La habitación era muy grande, moderna y cómoda, con todo lo necesario para disfrutar de una estancia agradable. Las instalaciones están muy cuidadas y ofrecen un ambiente perfecto tanto para relajarse como para disfrutar del hotel. Quiero hacer una mención especial a los trabajadores de la piscina del rooftop. Su atención, amabilidad y profesionalidad marcaron la diferencia y consiguieron que cada momento allí fuera todavía más especial. Da gusto encontrarse con un equipo tan atento y cercano. Un abrazo grande de Felipe,Lorena y sus vecinos ingleses.

Excellent staff throughout the hotel. Hotel has a very welcoming atmosphere and the enjoyment of our stay was reinforced by attitude of staff. The entertainment in hotel was mostly good and enjoyable with participation from guests. Great location close to but not to close to busy beach street. Rooms comfortable and clean with good air con for very hot days. We were on half board rate which was very fair. Planning to return next year.

I was lucky enough to enjoy a head massage during my stay at Hotel Angela. Eva was just fantastic, the room to side of the indoor pool was inviting and secluded. The aromas were relaxing and so was my massage, Eva has magic hands and I think I fell asleep for a while there! Treat yourself during your stay, you won’t regret it.

Allaspedit varattu pyyhkeillä jo varhain aamusta, eikä henkilökunta tehnyt mitään vaikka säännöissä se oli kiellettyä. Ilmalämpöpumppu oli homeessa ja haisi, valituksen jälkeen pumppu putsattiin kuitenkin välittömästi.

It is extremely relaxing due to the adults recommended policy. Location is amazing very near a lot of great restaurants & only a short walk from the nightlife. Staff are great from top to bottom & a special request for my room was fulfilled which really did make the stay very special for my partner & I

My only complaint during my stay would be that the morning cleaning staff were quite noisy & very tough to sleep through

Have returned this year because we both loved the rooftop pool,but on arrival found out there have nearly doubled the price,was very disappointed,so we didn't use it. But still enjoyed our stay good view from from the 9floor,clean room & good food😄

Although we have travelled the World, we have lost count on how many times we have stayed in the Angela Hotel, our favorite short haul destination. The location is unbeatable and the service from all of the staff, many of which we are now on first name terms, is exceptional. Even the newly recruited staff in the restaurant were amazingly efficient and friendly, I have to mention Luis, this man was permanently in top gear. The only disappointment is the poor standard of evening entertainment and is very evident from the small number of guests that occupied the lounge in the evenings. Much of our time was spent in the roof top bar and as always the ladies there were super friendly and efficient. See you all again in December and Christmas celebrations

I've been many times, I know the set up. I don't care if I'm light side. dark side, top, or bottom. We get a room key, and enter. There's an adjoining door. I'm familiar as my late wife used a wheelchair. My new lady isn't. She opens the door, it's not locked. Then to my amazement she opens the second door and we see in next door! She's not having that. Me neither. So down to reception. Can we change room please, not happy with adjoining door. "Hotel is full. Door is locked". Problem is doors were not locked, maybe the maid will leave them unlocked again. "Sorry all rooms full", I get annoyed and my voice raises slightly, I explain it's a hotel with a revolving door. People come and go, you just asked me if I wanted double or single beds. Different reception guy takes over, finds me a new room instantly and all is well. I don't blame the reception girl. she did as she was told. But check your adjoining door folks. Food is good, It's the head chef from Florida Spa, I knew he'd sort it. Bar was half empty at nights, Yaramar was the same. Some blame entertainment. Most acts are the same as before and its packed in Winter. The few different artists we saw were not much better than regular acts. Esperanto do 2 or 3 night (plus Yaramar). Now they aren't my thing, and get monotonous but they have the most dancers. I like Sean Murray, he can stay. Bring back the cans of John Smiths and an evening Happy Hour! That will keep people in. Well me anyway. "

Just got back today from a fantastic week at the Angela hotel. Was a little worried before we went due to some negative reviews. If you are going please ignore the negatives, the hotel is lovely, we never struggled to get a sunbed, the food is lovely and there is plenty of choice, comfortable beds, lots of storage in the room, fabulous shower. There is a happy hour in the snack bar every day between 12pm and 1 pm. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back.

Después de pagar un dineral por una noche con una habitación con vistas al mar, la habitación no tenía vistas al mar, y el parking estaba lleno por lo cual nos tuvimos que buscar la vida con el coche.

"The accommodation was basically as described, but the room size fell short of the specified square footage and seemed noticeably smaller. On a negative note, the refrigerator was locked, so we had to specifically ask at reception to have it opened. While these issues caused some inconvenience, apart from these minor observations, the location and the hotel were good."

Lovely clean hotel right across the road from a sandy beach. Breakfast choices are varied and tasty. Staff are friendly and helpful. The only thing I would recommend is to put more info on the app. We wanted to eat in hotel one evening and we went to the restaurant but we were told it was only for half board guests, we would have happily paid for our meal.

Great location near the bars and restaurants and next to the beach.the junior suites delux are amazing and they come with access to a private bar pool and luxury sunbeds plus a private seating area with free snacks.it is a great experience well worth the money to experience luxury.

Frukosten var väl balanserad utan att vara överdådig. Diskplockarna var mycket effektiva och hade dessutom tid att växla några ord med gästerna. Riktigt bra luftkonditionering, sköna sängar, bra sänglampor, Snabb och effektiv service om något behövde åtgärdas i rummet.

Brödutbudet likriktat och saknade fullkornsbröd och t. ex. surdegsbröd. Marmeladerna var väl inte heller någon höjdare. Förvånad över att man inte gjorde mer reklam för sin "Roof Top Bar". Kylskåpet var riktigt dåligt - det klarade inte ens av att kyla ölen till lämplig temperatur och det hade jag förväntat mig av ett 4-stjärningt hotell. Långsamt WiFi.

We were a party of 4 staying at the Hotel Angela from the 5th to the 15th of July 2026. I must admit that I was a little worried after reading some of the comments and seeing some of the low star ratings over the last few months. Having stayed at the Hotel for 10 nights then I am now totally baffled by some of the the bad ratings that had been posted. Here are our opinions about the Hotel. The staff throughout the Hotel were friendly, helpful, great to converse with and gave a first class service. The lounge bar staff, snack bar staff, reception staff were first class both in attitude and level of service. The maids attended our room every day and room was very clean and every one of them said good morning/afternoon. When we arrived we couldn't get into our room and one of the maids assisted us which was very kind of her, she stopped what she was doing to assist us. The Hotel grounds,corridors, and lifts were spotless. The entertainment was a little repetative and we only witnessed one average act over the 10 nights. We saw one of the acts 3 times over our 10 night stay which caused us to go elsewhere on the third time. This should not happen and to fair fair needs looking at. The food - There was a varied selection although I have to admit that over a 10 day period it began to be a little repetative but that is to be expected due to the fact that preparing the food is a massive operation. Nevertheless, the food was brilliant and there was always a wide choice. Someone previously mentioned that some of the food was cold but we didn't find any cold food, everything was warm. And last but not least, the TUI rep. The rep gave a first class servive. She answered every quetion that we put her and the big advantage appeared to be that she has lived in the area for a number of years and she knows everyting about the area. I felt that if we asked her what we had for breakfast she would hav known!! (hah ha) This review is a honest review unless you are a very picky person, and in our opinion it is impossible to give this Hotel one or two points/stars. It is pointless giving a write up for a Hotel unless it is true.

In my friends room there was a big problem with flooding in the bathroom every time she had a shower.we reported it several times and it did get a little better but she had to put down several bath towels on the floor to catch the water.so very disappointing.

En general todo, desde la habitación, elegimos la suite junior y la verdad que no nos arrepentimos porque era muy espaciosa y con dos terrazas, el personal muy amable y en cuanto a la limpieza todo muy limpio. Un hotel moderno y con instalaciones muy buenas. Disfrutamos de la piscina y el spa que también está increíble. Rodeado de tiendas, chiringuitos… Ideal para desconectar.

De kamers in het nieuwe deel van het hotel zijn geweldig. Prachtig uitzicht, zeer schone en ruime kamer met goede bedden. faciliteiten en zwembaden in het hotel zijn ook prima.

Het ontbijt viel wat tegen. Het assortiment is prima alleen de entourage, inrichting en routing in de ontbijtzaal is ongezellig en druk. Dit is nog niet in lijn met de rest van het hotel.

Just got back from the hotel Angela. The place is fantastic spotlessly clean. Nice friendly staff. The best location straight opposite the beach. The food at this hotel is some of the best we have had can't fault anything about it will definitely be back.

La habitación está muy muy antigua, pequeña, no tenía ni armario, tenía que tener la ropa colgada a la vista y la sensación de agobio era mayor, el olor del baño era cargante , no olía a limpio, no repetía

I was a little tentative booking after reading some of the reviews but I needn't have been. We got the train from the airport to Los Boliches (stop before Fuengirola) only costing around 5 euros and walked down to the front, only taking us 10 mins to reach the hotel, did the same on the return journey early morning. We were early checking in and were made very welcome by a lovely gentleman at reception. He said our room would be ready in an hour, pointing us to the left luggage room and giving us directions to the pool area should we wish a drink etc. The pool area was lovely with plenty of sunbeds mid afternoon. The staff were lovely and welcoming. Beach towels supplied free of charge, When our room was ready it was lovely with a pool view. It was cleaned every day with fresh towels if we so wished. Breakfast was lovely, a big selection of cooked and continental and although busy at times, there was always tables and lots of staff milling around to clear and replenish. Plenty of sunbeds available so need to set the alarm, with a happy hour every day between 12- 1pm. A lovely roof top bar if you wished a change of scene and if you paid 15 euros each you could use the sunbeds and pool for the day which we did on one occasion. Hotel is very central with a taxi rank outside. My partner played golf a few times so this was convenient. I wouldn't hesitate to book the Angela again on a bed and breakfast basis, only because we like to eat out at night. Lovely staff and spotlessly clean. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Fantastic location. Hotel lovely. Staff super friendly. All meal choices were amazing. Didn't know what to expect as 2025 reviews weren't great but the hotel has clearly improved. Rooms cleaned daily. Only fault was not having access to room fridge without having to pay for it.

We stayed her last year the hotel is lovely location is central staff are friendly and helpful maria in reception is exceptional her customer service is excellent goes over and above last year there was a few issues with the pool area and the restaurant so i can say there is defo enough sunloungers now even though i thought the restaurant food was good last year it is now improved this year my only gripe with the hotel is at breakfast there is tea/coffee hot water and cold water but at dinner there is nothing you have to pay for water tea/coffee yes if you want a drink you pay that fair but its says its a 4 star hotel i think its more like a 3 star plus due to no water tea/coffee at dinner and then it would be a 4 star this is important to your customers its the little things that matter room 117 29th june x 7 nights😎😀

Verouderd hotel, kamers in het “oudere gedeelte” klein en gedateerde badkamer. Zeker vergeleken met de foto’s op Booking.com. We waren teleurgesteld. De rooftop was te betalen behalve bij verblijf in de luxe kamers. Dit is niet duidelijk bij het boeken, jammer!! We hadden het hotel daarvoor gekozen. Een bedje met glas cava en mini brochette fruit kost 25€ per dag, vrij duur. Was er wel rustig gelukkig. Door een bepaalde misverstand de eerste dag waren de dames van de bediening niet vriendelijk, ergernis was van hun gezicht af te lezen. De man die er bediende was wel vriendelijk. Het niet betalend gedeelte van het zwembad meteen vol, zwembad water leek niet zo proper. We hebben dat gedeelte dan ook overgeslaan . Hotel gericht op een ouder publiek, niet voor ons (4 dames 40 jaar) Voldoende keuze bij ontbijt maar veel was droog (brood, uitgebakken wafels, pannenkoeken, etc) We vonden het prijs kwaliteit niet helemaal in verhouding, we hadden meer van ons verblijf verwacht. Wij zouden er niet terugkeren
