Great location , great improvement post refurbishment , junior suite very comfortable and great value. Breakfast buffet exceptionally good fabulous choice friendly staff and spotlessly clean.

De locatie is perfect. PAL aan het strand, maar ook met een eigen zwembad. Wij hadden uitzicht op zee waar we heerlijk van konden genieten vanaf ons balkon. Zowel in het hotel als in de buurt is er veel keuze qua eten en drinken. Het hotel is heel groot en biedt veel faciliteiten aan. Ook is er een dagelijks programma aan activiteiten voor als je daar zin in hebt.

Wij vonden de kwaliteit van het eten bij de bar bij het zwembad niet geweldig. Bij het strand kan je beter eten bij het bijbehorende restaurant.

The location is very good and close to the train station and opposite the beach . The bed was very comfortable and the bath was delightful .

In house policies designed to extract money out of the guest really impacted our stay. The hotel will not provide wine glasses for you to drink your own wine. They will not provide ice for you to add to drinks in your room. They suggested we buy a bag of ice. The fridge has no freezer compartment so how would this work. No supply of disposable shower caps or cotton wool despite asking for them . Throw away wooden spoon instead of reusable spoon . If you want room service you have to order it and collect it from down in the snack bar with takeaway packaging no plates or cutlery . 4star hotel you expect a luxury experience . Service was slow and unfriendly

It's the best location in the city, and the breakfast was varied and good. There is some minor wear and tear in the bathroom, but it's purely visual and doesn't impact your safety.

Problemas que tuvimos:Al tercer dia que estuvimos y por la mañana(que desde que llegamos nos quejamos que no enfriaba el aire acondicionado) y vinierón a verlo pero NO lo arreglarón,yá por fín nos cambiarón de habitación al tercer dia porque el aire acondicionado dijerón que estaba roto.Yá a partir de ese dia estuvimos estupendamente en la nueva habitación.En total fuerón 7 noches las que estuvimos en el hotel.Sino hubiese habido, ese problema con el aire acondicionado,hubieramos estado perfectos.

Ya lo he dicho la habitación que nos dierón yá d3sde el principio,con el aire acondicionado roto,y después de quejarnos lo menos 5 o 6 veces ,nos cambiarón al tercer dia por la mañana con lo que conlleva de recoger ropas y enseres y meterlos en maletas y bolsas,y después volver a colocar en la nueva habitación ,perdimos toda la mañana de nuestras vacaciones para toda esta movida.

Perfect location, good service, and very good food quality. The new rooms are also amazing and clearly a highlight of the hotel. However, I was extremely disappointed by the condition of the towels and bathrobes. They did not feel fresh or properly maintained, which was particularly disappointing given the otherwise high standard of the hotel. I hope the hotel will review and replace these items, as this detail significantly affected the overall experience. Big thank you to the cleaning staff.

La habitación era una habitación doble deluxe, supuestamente mejor que una habitación normal, pero si así era la habitación doble deluxe no me quiero imaginar como tiene que ser una habitación normal, la ducha estaba rota se inundó el baño porque se salió todo el agua mientras nos duchábamos, vinieron a arreglarlo de primeras y aún así se siguió saliendo , vinieron de segundas, se salía menos agua pero aún así, se salía todavía agua, la cadena del vater a veces iba y a veces no, y no pudimos poner el Netflix que supuestamente funciona cuando haces check in, avisamos de que no iba y nos dijeron q lo solucionarían pero hemos estado los 4 días sin Netflix.

Stayed for 10 nights the end of July. Fantastic hotel, met at reception with a glass of cava, room was ready. From the moment we stepped into the hotel all staff were so friendly from reception to pool ,restaurant and bar. Room was spotless and we received a complimentary bottle of wine, water and nuts. Usual people queuing for pool every morning, it gave us a laugh to watch from balcony the race for a bed! We always got one after breakfast. Loved that you could order drinks food etc from your sun lounger through a qr code it was fast and so efficient! Big shout out to the bar staff at the pool , they were so friendly and fun as were the tui staff. We visited the beach across the road twice with hotel discount . Location great with loads of bars restaurants to be discovered in the streets behind. Highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful views .we had the sidesea premium room and had late afternoon and evening sun . The rooms have all been done up and are lovely with nice comfortable beds and food was also beautiful with ample choice .The only disappointment was once again a fridge that was warmer than the room and even after changing it was barely cool not cold which meant milk going sour and no nice cold drinks to enjoy on the terrace which was a let down as supposed to be premium 4*. Yaramar need to invest in proper refrigerator for all rooms instead of moving faulty ones around.

Qualità prezzo così così essendo comunque una struttura vecchiotta. La mia prima camera era comunicante e mi sembrava di avere i miei vicini in camera...tra l'altro rientrati nel cuore della notte..quindi io ho dormito quando hanno deciso di dormire anche loro. Per onore di trasparenza mi hanno cambiato camera e la seconda era idonea. Piscina secondo me piccola per la portata di ospiti dell'hotel. In generale non male, ma non economico ecco.

We recently stayed for 8 days here in the junior suite . The accommodation itself was good and tastefully done . The fridge took the length of our stay to actually be cool . The food had a good selection but the restaurant staff needs a serious overhaul. I am having dinner or breakfast with my husband and no sooner that my cutlery goes down , my plate is taken away leaving my husband looking like he is eating alone . The staff are more interested in clearing the table than your actual comfort and to be honest not friendly, walking up to a table the both parties are not finished eating at and removing a plate and saying grasis is not acceptable in a so called 4 star hotel. Then the pool situation is ridiculous, this queuing for sun loungers has to be addressed and people putting towels on loungers and not returning for hours on end is a huge problem that they don’t address even though there’s a sign saying after a hour it will be removed, there really is no rules enforced when it comes to the pool , no floating loungers , there was plenty in a small pool . Now very importantly i booked this through tui and selected adults only as that is our preference for summer holiday and clearly advertised its self as a adult only hotel , so to my amazement i am watching kids come and go and play and other guests were equally perturbed by this , so if your booking this hotel not to be around children… well make sure you read the fine print. We enjoyed our stay here but that was more down to the suite we stayed in and location but as for the rest there are a lot of unnecessary annoyances that could be avoided if the guests were put first. I did not find the staff friendly except for Elias and another woman , all the rest think grasis cuts the mustard without even a smile or a glace at you . I hope this is helpful to others going as I would have been more informed when booking myself.

Fantastic hotel beautifully maintained with really hard working friendly staff who really look after you and make you feel right at home. Rooms well kept with a fridge/tv/kettle/coffee milk etc and a lovely big shower. Fantastic views couldn’t fault anything would definitely have a return visit well worth it!

Pileta , te ocupan las reposeras , dejan las toallas como reservando el lugar , y nunca tenes lugar. Tendrían q obligar al que se va que la deje libre . Tema playa , te tendrian que dar gratis o de cortesia un pase en las reposeras de enfrente ( te cobran ) y estas lejos del agua y hace un calor tremendo en la arena seca . Y otra y mejor, te tendrian que prestar silla , eso solo, para ir a la playa .

My daughter & I took part in Emily the entertainer/exercise coaches classes & water aerobics. She was absolutely brilliant. She made our experience so fun. She put everything into the classes & made our holiday.

We came on 21st July, The reception and welcome was so nice, and a welcome drink and bottle to room, The room is so nice overlooking sea and recently renovated, spotless clean and all staff so helpful! We have a sea view room on 9th floor the view is great! The hotel is close to everything you need and right on the beach, the pool area is great with plenty of sunbeds and a nice view of beach, The restaurant and food is so good, a variety and always the staff are great. The Hotel is perfect! The staff are all so nice! The only thing that is strange is that you cannot buy a beer or icecream at the pool bar, you have to use the app, sunbed number process, so this means awaiting some time for a waitress to order and then deliver , but it can go wrong and take a few attempts just to buy a drink or icecream , we always bring money to spend at the pool bar and give tips , but this is the first hotel where I cannot just buy a zero beer, at the pool , tried to explain I have to resort to going to the the shop or go to the room etc, because cannot just buy a drink, the staff are so nice , but I now look impatient and feel that I cannot go to the bar unless I follow a process for the rest/ next days of our holiday, Fantastic hotel ! It difficult to buy a drink and tip staff without a complicated process The best hotel, and all the staff are lovely!

We stayed at the Yaramar recently where it was our our seventh time. Yet again, we thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay. The food was great. The renovated room was very smart and clean. The daytime entertainment was really good and the evening entertainment has improved from last year. As always, the staff are so polite, friendly and helpful. A big 'thank you' to all the hotel staff, TUI reps and daytime entertainment team for making our holiday so relaxing and pleasurable!!

We stayed at the yaramar this July and was met by a very lovely receptionist at 2.30am all seemed great . On going to our room we discovered our air wasn’t working which they did send up maintenance to fix . We were excited to be staying in a TUI blue hotel and at first things looked promising . Pool was lovely and location was great . Unfortunately the staff weren’t aware on what was on their drinks menu and we struggled to explain to them what we wanted . Then the food was more in line with 3 star and deserts were limited . We also asked for pain au chocolates and were told no they didn’t have them but they were there the previous morning. The cleaning no fault if her own as she had a whole floor to clean on her own didn’t take glasses to wash from our room so adventually I left them in sink in the hope they would be cleaned and then they disappeared completely. So I went to reception and asked for some more to a rude response of well you can use the beakers that you use for brushing your teeth in bathroom !! So asked in restaurant and they gave us some plastic beakers ! Not ideal if you wanted to sit out in balcony with a glass of wine. The rooms have been updated but look poorly done as bathroom had grubbing seals and we had towels replaced with towels with holes in. One day sheet on beds were made and sheets looked dirty . Going back to food it was a normal buffet style but was lacking any sophistication and more like a 3 star hotel. Waiting staff in bars and restaurants were very friendly thou and can’t fault them .

We have just returned from a wonderful two-week stay at the Yaramar Hotel in Fuengirola, Costa del Sol, and overall we had a fantastic holiday. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome with a complimentary glass of cava at check-in. We were also pleasantly surprised to have a bottle of wine and bottled water delivered to our room from the hotel management, which was a really thoughtful touch and very much appreciated. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout our stay. Our room was cleaned every day, with fresh towels and bed linen provided, and everything always felt fresh and well cared for. The housekeeping team work incredibly hard and were always friendly and cheerful. The location is excellent, right on the beachfront, with plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants just a short walk away. We stayed on the 10th floor and enjoyed stunning views, especially watching the sunrise over the sea each morning, which was a real highlight. We stayed on a half-board basis, and both breakfast and dinner offered a wide variety of food with plenty of choice to suit all tastes. There was always something tempting to choose from, and we always found something we enjoyed. The only downside for us was the evening entertainment. While the acts themselves were fine, we felt it was a little dated and perhaps more suited to an older generation. We only checked it out a couple of times, but sadly there were only 6 people in there one night and 12 another, so we didn’t stay. It also lacked the atmosphere and social side that encourages guests to mingle and spend the evening together. We think this is an area the hotel could improve. That said, with so many bars and restaurants nearby, there were plenty of other options for evening entertainment. Overall, we had a lovely, relaxing two-week stay. The excellent cleanliness, fantastic location, and thoughtful welcome made it a memorable holiday. We would recommend the Yaramar Hotel to anyone looking for a beachfront stay in Fuengirola.

Limpieza exquisita, decoración muy bonita, en si todo el edificio muy cuidado y con gusto. La situación inmejorable…El personal muy atento. Y lo que más las indicaciones alérgenos en el buffet. Aún quedan cosas legales, pero el hotel cumple.

Que llegamos y no había sitio en parking, tampoco en el parking más cercano ni tampoco aparcamiento en alrededores. Deberían de poder reservar junto con la habitación.

When we arrived at the airport we were given a private taxi by Tui to take us to the hotel, which we were grateful for as it was past midnight and we were ‘travel tired’ by then. The hotel reception greeted us with a glass of cava which was a nice touch. Our room was a sea view refurbished double on the 8th floor. A bottle of water, a bottle of wine and a jar of almonds were on the table waiting for us which was lovely. There was ample clothes space however a lack of drawer space and just shelves. It has the best waterfall shower I have probably ever had! It is a lovely room with an exceptional view of the beach from the balcony. The main road below is quite noisy at times but the room’s sound proofing is quite good and the resort tends to go quiet after midnight. We did not find any problem with noise from the hotel at all. The food was plentiful and you can always find something to your taste. Breakfast was best for us. We did eat out at a couple of local restaurants in the evenings too just for a change! The pool area is nice, the floor can get a bit slippery and we observed a couple of people slip and fall, so be aware. We always found a sun bed available probably because there is the lovely beach across the road and you get a discount if you’re from the Yaramar. We found the hotel to be exceptionally clean everywhere! We loved the hotel, its friendly staff and its location. We leave tomorrow 😥 but we will return😁 Thank you Yaramar for a lovely stay!

Had a really lovely time. We stayed in June for 2 weeks and stayed in a refurbished room with sea view which was amazing. Everything at hotel was perfect. Little niggle, would have been nice to take coffee to lounge after breakfast and dinner. Lots of shops and bars to visit nearby. Staff were really pleasant and helpful. Cleaning was not qualitative, double bed in fact is too separated beds. We needed to insists on finding workaround how to fix beds together.such nuances as plastic glasses in a room were not critical but it didn't feel as 4 stars.

Just back from 10 days at the Yaramar. It was our 3rd visit over the last 6 years. Location is excellent practically on the beach and lots of lovely bars and restaurants in the streets behind. Room we had a front refurbished sea view . Nicely decorated comfy beds kettle fridge and safe and excellent air con. If I had to be picky could have done with a mirror over the console area instead of a picture as no where to do make up or hair other than in bathroom. Also no drawers just open shelves...not a big issue but would have been more useful. Food ...plenty of choice and lots of fresh fruits and salads. Hot food was hot... again slightly picky but wasn't allowed to take coffee out of dining room which would have been nice. Staff ...all excellent cheerful hardworking and very helpful great asset to the hotel. Cleanliness ..First class couldn't fault in any way from our room to public areas always clean and tidy. Pool area again very clean ..daily activities with aqua aerobics and pilates also a fun quiz. We didn't use the entertainment bar in the evening but did sit outside and have drinks..fairly standard prices but my gin was always served just how I like it !!. All in all a great stay in a really good hotel I'm sure we will be back.

Stay: Last week of June 2026 Guests: Late-60s couple (with some walking difficulties) Room Booked: Refurbished Twin Room with Sea View & Balcony, 6th Floor Room & Facilities: The room was allocated exactly as requested via direct email to the hotel. Taking this step successfully avoids TUI’s "higher or lower" room-selection game, which often cleverly sidesteps mid-level floor requests. Interior: Well-equipped and comfortable. The air conditioning is simple to operate, the ceiling fan is excellent, the safe is free and the small fridge (also free) is low-power but just about adequate. Good storage, daily cleaning and a reliable, automatic Wi-Fi connection. Plenty of English and international TV channels. Robes and slippers not included on this room type. Omissions & Gripes: A notable omission is the lack of USB sockets - highly surprising for newly renovated rooms. Additionally, the tiny cups and wooden stirrers, while pandering to the obvious "sustainable vibe," should simply be dropped. Bathroom: Features an exceptionally powerful shower. Hair dryer. Free products provided. Towel changes are provided on request (just leave on the floor). Balcony: East facing. Simply furnished, but quiet, offering a relaxing view of the beach just across the road. No direct sun after midday. Adults Only: The hotel clientele is predominantly adults aged 50 and over, matching the adults-only description (only a couple of toddlers were seen). The overall atmosphere is sedate and relaxed. The check‑in process is poor when 20 people arrive at the same time. Some other TUI Blue hotels let you pre‑register the required personal details online. After nine hours of travel and no sleep, standing in a queue for 30 minutes so staff can individually guide people through tablet forms is needless and shouldn’t be happening. Public Areas & Pool Deck: Maintenance: Public areas are spotlessly clean and well-maintained. Note that the hotel has no grounds or gardens. 4 lifts provide a typically fast service. Pool Area: In late June, we experienced no difficulty securing a pair of comfortable loungers, a small table, a chair, and a large sunshade. Towels are provided on request. A small daily queue forms before the pool opens, but this seemed more like a ritual than a necessity. Snack Bar: Very good, with reasonable mid-range pricing (fairly judged on the cheese & ham toastie and shared portion of chips scale). Service was generally excellent; a single incident involving a delayed return of a large sum of change was resolved upon a reminder and was hopefully just an oversight. Restaurant & Dining The food is good but not exceptional. Although breakfast offers a full range of everything, the evening menu offers an unexceptional variety that just about adequately covers different tastes and dietary requirements. It is mass catering afterall. Desserts are simply repetitive and forgettable, carrying a distinct "school-diner" feel. On the positive side, the restaurant never felt busy during the first half-hour of service, and the "waiter plate-snatching Olympics" seen at other TUI Blue hotels was almost totally absent here. Usually entering the restaurant at the 7:30 opening, it was clear that while tables had been meticulously reset, the floors had not received even a cursory dry-sweeping from the previous evening service. The temptation to do a single thorough clean after breakfast is understandable from a workload perspective, but the omission is noticeable. The Culinarium: One free visit per stay to the a la carte section of the restaurant is included (drinks are payable). The menu is high quality, the waiter service is enjoyable, if a little regimented in its seating plan. You'll need the TUI Blue App to book selections and sitting time in advance. Available Wednesday to Saturday. Attend the TUI welcome meeting as it serves as a useful reminder to book. Note for men: You must wear long trousers or face being turned away at the door. Beach & Local Area: The large public beach sits directly across the road and looks excellent. We did not use it ourselves. Two loungers and a large straw canopy cost €15 per day, though a hotel discount is available. This would be a viable alternative to the pool deck during peak season. The immediate local area is flat, level and safe. Light traffic and plenty of pedestrian crossings. It features typical resort shops, bars and casual eateries - nothing upscale nearby, though the back streets beyond the promenade look more promising. Expect the area to get much busier as the season progresses. The massive local market on Tuesday is about 900 metres walk and worth considering. Overall Impression A solid 4-star in package-tour hotel terms. The current TripAdvisor rating of ~80% feels entirely accurate. The TUI Blue branding appears to be leveraged to justify premium pricing, but minor issues and a general lack of standout quality suggest otherwise. For a truly top-tier rating, one should expect fewer of these small but nagging shortcomings. Staff were always polite and helpful and the TUI representative was extremely supportive to all. Amenities, activities and entertainment: There are lots, daily. Cannot comment on either the content or quality as did not use. Separate Travel Notes (not factored into hotel rating) Airport: No issues with the arrival and departure processing systems at Malaga. Time spent in the airport in both directions was much lower than expected (no doubt aided by traveling outside peak season). TUI Transfers: Simply unacceptable logistics. Spending 2 hours on a coach for a 30-minute trip to the resort is unreasonable. Similarly, on the return leg, diverting a 60-person coach for 30 minutes to collect two passengers from a remote location makes no economic sense. A simple taxi shuttle to ferry those passengers into the main resort hub would have saved 30 hours of collective passenger time far better spent getting through Malaga airport. Room Tip: Anything above floor 5 facing the sea is fine for securing a quiet room with a decent view.

I had an excellent 10 night stay great view from my balcony, good aqua aerobics treacher, a very good selection of food, I would highly recommend this Hotel to anybody it was also opposite a beach, and plenty of souvenir shops around

Beautiful hotel. Reception staff so friendly and welcoming. Rooms were immaculately clean like every were in the hotel. Swimming pool was small but lovely and warm at the end of the day.ideal position opposite the beach. Now for the couple of reasons I never gave it a 5 star…there was 4 of us in our party and we go for tea at 8.30 as the restaurant open to 10.. first night we sat at a table to be abruptly told we can’t sit there as they are setting them for Breakfast so moved us to a crowded area in front of were they take dirty pots etc. felt uncomfortable sat there. The waitress who moved us actually shouted at a very old couple to not sit there and moved them as well. Very rude girl chewing gum she was..second night had the same problem wanting to move us but this time we said no as it was to hot and uncomfortable were she was putting us so after her huffing and puffing she allowed us to sit were we wanted..we know they work hard and probably understaffed but absolutely no need for the attitude towards people.third night it had changed so we could sit were we wanted and the rude women were the other end of the restaurant thank god.the food was excellent so that made up for miserable staff..not enough staff in the bar as we waited a while for drinks and ended up going out as drinks expensive and quite weak compared to the bars next street down… big shout for the Spanish girl called Sofia I think who did a quiz every day.. what a lovely happy girl . Should let her give lessons to some of the restaurant staff. We would still come again as hopefully these things will be sorted..

I cannot recommend Chandana highly enough. He provides exceptional massage, reflexology, and wellbeing treatments at the Hotel Yaramar in Fuengirola, and every session has been outstanding. His technique is superb, combining skill, experience, and genuine care to create a truly relaxing and restorative experience. He takes the time to understand what you need and tailors each treatment accordingly, leaving you feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and completely at ease. If you're staying at the Hotel Yaramar or visiting Fuengirola and are looking for a first-class massage or reflexology treatment, Chandana is the person to see. A true professional, and I would thoroughly recommend him. Both myself and my husband saw Chandana. We were both SO impressed! So if you have been suffering with aches and pains why not treat yourself!! You will not be disappointed! 😄

Outstanding wellness classes with Amy at Hotel Yaramar and outstanding massage with Chandana. I would like to give special recognition to both Amy and Chandana at Hotel Yaramar. Firstly Amy for the excellent relaxation classes, yoga sessions, and pool exercise classes she provides. Amy is warm, professional, and incredibly encouraging, creating a welcoming atmosphere for everyone regardless of age or ability. Her classes were a highlight of my stay. The relaxation sessions were calming and enjoyable, the yoga classes were well-paced and accessible, and the pool exercises were both fun and beneficial. Amy's enthusiasm, expertise, and genuine care for guests really stand out. Secondly now to Chandana the masseuse. He is from Sri Lanka and is an outstanding and highly skilled professional in his craft of massage, wellbeing and reflexology. My hour with Chandana was amazing, he helped my beaten up body feel 20 years younger! Both of these professionals are a tremendous asset to Hotel Yaramar, and I would like to thank them both for helping make my holiday such a positive and memorable experience. I would highly recommend Amy and Chandana to any guest staying at the hotel and would honestly say that you are very fortunate to be in their company.
