Location : A+++ Cleanliness : A+++ Comfort : A (bed was amazing... the room felt very cold and sterile, but was efficient and tidy) Staff : B- (mostly efficient... wasn't able to get through to the front desk one morning to get more coffee delivered, as they don't do daily service on the rooms in the annex building. Positive Notes: Seriously the MOST amazing shower ever. Big, clean and 15/10 for the water pressure.

Negative Notes: hated the Keurig in our room. Insufficient pods, couldn't get a hold of front desk to get more delivered... no coffee service in the lobby. My only Complaint is truly about the coffee situation. It's was extremely frustrating, but otherwise, the stay was wonderful.

Das Annex-Building entspricht schon von außen nicht dem Foto der Beschreibung … es wirkt eher wie ein renovierungsbedürftiges Nebengebäude. Beim betreten des (sehr kleinen) Zimmers schlug einem ein modriger, unangenehmer Geruch entgegen, der auch nach ausgiebigem lüften nicht besser wurde. Das Zimmer, das für eine Max. Belegung von 4 Personen angeboten wird, ist viel zu klein und für höchstens zwei Personen geeignet. Die Matratzen sind extrem unbequem und rascheln beim umdrehen so laut, dass sämtliche Anwesenden davon wach werden… Unser Versäumnis/Fehler war, dass wir uns nicht sofort nach Betreten des Zimmers beim Personal am Empfang beschwert haben und nach einem anderen Zimmer gefragt haben

Zusammengefasst: für einen längeren Urlaub zu heruntergekommen, für eine Übernachtung am Weg viel zu teuer. Die Unterbringung erfolgt im Nebengebäude, was nicht weiter schlimm ist. Das Haus selbst scheint aus Pappkarton gebaut zu sein - man hört den Nachbarn sogar fernsehen. Die Zimmer sind sehr abgewohnt, Zimmermädchen gibt es keines (nur gegen Bezahlung). Im Hotelgang kommt man sich vor wie in einem Psychothriller, dunkel, schmuddelig, die Wände bzw. Tapeten kaputt. Einfach heruntergewirtschaftet und nie nur einen Cent investiert

Wir haben im Nebengebäude drei Nächte geschlafen, welches im Vergleich zum hübschen Hauptgebäude ziemlich alt und renovierungsbedürftig ist. Unser Zimmer an sich war in Ordnung. Die sehr hohen Preise sind im Nebengebäude aber nicht gerechtfertigt. An der Rezeption wäre eine zweite Person hilfreich um die Check-Ins und sonstige Anfragen zügiger zu abzuarbeiten.

Central location for food, drinks etc. Currently doing upgrades but it didn't affect our stay. Easy parking. Good location for trips to Banff, Louise etc.

Reception staff have some work to do on how they welcome guests and provide information and directions. Rules are important but more emphasis on guests needs and wants please. We booked before you changed some arrangements not a good policy on your part to change things without rewarding guests. The beds were below par. In general I did not get the impression that guests come first.

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. It had a fridge and. Microwave

It was a pet friendly room but no pet amenities. The bedding was all white! No additional blanket to put on the bed. It rained the whole time we were there so foot prints were inevitable. We were staying 2 nights. 2 guests There was 1 coffee pod. 1 decaffeinated coffee pod and 2 tea pods. Not good. Rules were clear 10pm to 8am quiet time. We were woken at 6am by the people above us sliding things across the floor, walking back and forth, flushing toilet NUMEROUS times.

Location and ease of access to restaurants and surrounding activities.

Property has no “resort” amenities. We were placed in a building separate from the main resort pictured in their website, so it felt like we weren’t even staying there. I understood that they were going through some construction and water issues at the time, but upkeep and presentation could’ve been better. The buildings hallways were very dark and musty smelling, and visible stack of storage containers right outside our room and elevator.

They were currently updating the hallways and lobby, but the room was not in great shape. We didn't use the kitchen, but most cabinet doors were lose and didn't close properly. Shower/ tub unit had lots of of caulk that had areas of black mildew on it

The beds were so noisy, if anyone moved at all it made so much noise. Luckily we only stayed one night. For the price it was not value for money.

(presque pas de lumière dans les couloirs, entrée sale...) La chambre était très sale également (grosse tâche de sang sur les draps, trace sur les murs de la salle de bain, une fuite d'eau sous le balcon, joint de la douche moisi...

De plus, les alentours de l hébergement étaient inondés et une pompe vide cave fonctionnait en permanence avec un bruit assourdissant juste sous noté fenêtre. Après discussion avec la réception, aucune solution n'a été trouvée, ni relogement ni dédommagement. On nous a dit de faire avec. Bref, beaucoup trop cher pour les prestations vendues.

Disappointing overall. The room was located in a separate annex that looks and feels nothing like the main hotel. The annex is basic, completely lacks atmosphere, and feels disconnected from the hotel experience advertised. Poorly functioning air conditioning in the room, no housekeeping, and very limited parking further added to the disappointment. Definitely not good value for money.

En lisant les avis négatifs récents, j’avais un peu peur de ce que j’allais trouver en arrivant… et honnêtement, j’ai été agréablement surprise ! Les filles de l’accueil ont été adorables du début à la fin. Nous sommes français et elles faisaient même l’effort de parler français avec nous, ce qui était vraiment appréciable. Elles échangeaient aussi avec mon fils de 8 ans, qui est bilingue, et plaisantaient avec lui. Une équipe vraiment chaleureuse ! La chambre et la salle de bain étaient propres. Nous avions une chambre donnant sur la rue, mais nous avions malgré tout une très belle vue sur les montagnes. Lors de notre séjour, il y avait encore les travaux liés à l’inondation, avec notamment une pompe pour évacuer l’eau. Nous étions au 2ᵉ étage, juste au-dessus de celle-ci, et honnêtement, cela ne nous a absolument pas dérangés. J’avais également quelques inquiétudes concernant le parking, mais finalement, aucun problème ! L’hôtel nous a remis un papier à laisser dans la voiture afin de confirmer que nous étions bien clients de l’établissement. Les places sont effectivement assez restreintes, mais nous avions un petit SUV et nous n’avons eu aucune difficulté à trouver une place. Nous rentrions généralement à l’hôtel vers 18h et avons toujours réussi à nous garer pendant nos quatre jours de séjour. Au final, j’en garde un très bon souvenir et j’y reviendrai avec grand plaisir ! 😊

Le principal point négatif concerne l’accès à la piscine. Lorsque j’ai effectué ma réservation en septembre 2025, il n’était pas indiqué que les clients séjournant dans l’annexe n’auraient pas accès à la piscine. Cette restriction a été annoncée en janvier 2026, soit plusieurs mois après ma réservation. Cela a donc été une petite déception, notamment pour mon fils de 8 ans qui adore les piscines et se réjouissait de pouvoir en profiter pendant notre séjour.

Man versucht dem alten Gebäude ein bisschen Charme zu verleihen, Ausstattung teilweise neu, wie zum Beispiel das neue Bad.

Durch die alten Türen/Fenster wirkt es dennoch ein wenig abgewohnt.

When someone from office desk just opened up our door, did not even bothered to knock the door first. Then someone from front desk called if we have paid, which we did when we checked in. And then again someone knocked on our door to know if someone inside. It's horrible.

The main building looks decent. Make sure you DO NOT book in the annex building. It is DISGUSTING!!!! The hallways have stains all over the floors. Ripped out base boards and paint chips everywhere. IT STINKS! There is no trolleys to haul your luggage if you are on the 2nd and 3rd floor. The rooms are renovated so a 2 star at best! For this price, this is beyond disappointing!!!!! And additionally the annex building can not use the pool in the main building! Book somewhere else!

Was apprehensive after reading reviews about staying in the annex but all I can say is I am really not sure what people expect.. we had a really lovely experience the room was perfect as where the facilities. and amazing view from the balcony from our room friendly staff couldn’t ask for anything better would definitely stay there again.

The bed was very comfy and location was handy for bus to banff.

Where to start: 1. Noise from generators outside window 24/7, we were left a little note on the bed and some ear plugs. The earplugs do no make up for that noise! 2. No room cleaning provided, this was not noted anywhere on the booking. We were traveling with a baby and using the room bin for dirty nappies so needed bins changed daily. When we asked reception for this service as a minimum they said no sorry we don't do that. They said we had to empty our own bins and could provide bin bags if we wanted. This is not the service I expect at a hotel, we were not in a self catering apartment, it is a hotel! The receptionist even agreed that when they stay at hotels the bin in the room is emptied by hotel staff. 3. We requested new towels half way through the stay, which they said yes to, so, we left all the towels in a pile by the door in the morning - making it easy for them to change given they don't clean rooms. When we returned that evening the pile was still there and no new towels. I rang reception and they said to come over, but then they couldn't get me any towels as the cleaner was on their break and they were the only person with a key to where the clean towels were kept - seems hard to believe. But I was then promised new towels would be delivered as soon as cleaner came back from their break. No towels arrived. I needed to bath my baby before bed, I rang reception several times and they didn't answer phone so ended up using a dirty towel from the floor. Not acceptable. 4. As others have noted we booked this hotel specifically due to having a pool, but then terms changed and we had no access, this was not communicated before arrival 5. Decor and finishings were very tired. The mirror in our bathroom was cracked and chipped. There were damp marks on the ceiling, the wallpaper was peeling off, these are more than just some wear and tear. 6.

My check in was 10 minutes late, the reception Ash was not nice and rude. The room patio was full of water and noise from the pump. I will never come back here again.

Good location with amazing views of the mountains, including the Three Sisters. Room was large, clean and fairly well equipped. The lift was broken in the building we were in which was a slight inconvenience. There had been some sort of issue with water/flooding and there were two noisy water pumps outside our window which were operating all night which disturbed our sleep. We did ask if we could move room when we checked in but unfortunately that wasn't possible. Overall though we had a good stay and the fantastic view we had from our room made up for the disturbance from the water pumps!

The place is run down but extremely expensive. The parking area had water being pumped out most of the stay, the rooms are not well laid out, there was a strange smell coming from the corridor of the annex and outside my room the noise from the generator where the ice machine is located was extremely loud

It doesn’t have an option for tea or coffee with an actual kettle, not everyone uses a pod machine especially if your limited to just earl grey, had to buy a kettle Pool empty pretty much the whole stay however they have made it that some of the rooms across the road can’t use it for some ridiculous reason considering your paying enough, kids would of loved to have a swim and use the water slide

The annex building where we stayed was in very bad condition. Wallpaper was peeling off the walls, the hallways were lit like a dungeon, the room's lighting was not a lot better, the beds were uncomfortable and the noise from the AC on the building next door rumbled through the room. The WiFi router fitted to the ceiling sprayed sporadic light through the room all night. Generally when paying $500 for a hotel room, the expectation is that the room will be comfortable and the building will be at least somewhat aesthetically pleasing. This room and building was none of that.

The location

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Perfect if you want to experience Halloween all year round. The photos they show are only of the main building, but then they tell you your room is in a separate building that looks like it’s straight out of a horror movie. It feels misleading and nothing like what was advertised. I would definitely not stay here again

Liked having a balcony and a decent sized shower. The location was great. Don’t let that fool you though.

Upon arrival, I was told at check in that we were not only not allowed to use the pool, but that the elevator also didn’t work at the anniex building and we would have to cart all of our stuff, including our children up the stairs in 30+ degree weather. Upon entering the room, we sat on the beds and not only did they squeak. The sounded like they were going to buckle under the weight of us using them. Maybe it was a misread on my part but we were under the impression these would be queen size beds. These were twin and they barely fit my husband and I; one beside the other. You can hear absolutely everything from your neighbours in this hotel. We had a room beside us that partied most of the night both nights and kept us up both nights. The parking is incredibly limited. Don’t even think about bringing a big truck. When we were here for our stay, they were emptying some sort of leak that was emptying into the parking lot which we were all supposed to be using and it had at least a 1 to 2 inch puddle. We constantly walked through while getting to our vehicles. Definitely frustrating when you had a wedding to attend and long dresses to the ground as well as children that like to run and splash; speaking of which the use of no pool by our building only after the booking was made is absolutely diabolical. Unfortunately I do not recommend staying here.

Per a nosaltres ha sigut l'allotjament més car de tota la ruta per USA i Canadà. El preu no s'ho val en absolut. Les places de parking són molt estretes (sorprenent en aquest país). El passadís: o feia pudor o olorava a ambientador. L'habitació feia pudor com de tabac. Llits dobles molt petits. Tovalloles de dutxa massa petites. Hab de 4 i només hi havia tovalloles per a 2. Van trigar mitja H en donar-nos les que faltaven. 400 la nit i que no facin l'habitació en 3 dies, ho trobo molt fort. No havia entès, quan vaig fer la reserva, que no tens accés a la piscina de l'edifici principal ni pagant un suplement. No ofereixen el servei d'esmorzar ni pagant.

I had the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I booked this vacation months in advance, but on the morning of check-in I was only informed about construction and possible noise. After a five-hour flight and a two-hour drive, we arrived to find the elevator broken and had to carry our heavy luggage up two floors with no help. Our room was in a separate, older building that was not clearly shown in the listing, with dark hallways and stairs, with view of construction site. The beds were uncomfortable and noisy, there was no daily cleaning, and staff support was very limited. Overall, this hotel was far below expectations, and I would not recommend staying here.

Das Hotel bzw. der Part in dem unser Zimmer war ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Der Fahrstuhl ging nicht, im Treppenhaus ist die Tapete von der Wand gekommen und auch das Zimmer war nicht komfortabel. Das Bett hat wahnsinnige Geräusche gemacht sobald man sich bewegt hat und generell hat man sich nicht so wohl gefühlt

Booked 12 months in advance. When tried to check in after 20 hours of travelling we were told there was no room. Their building had flooded 2 weeks previously and noone informed us. Had to try and sort alternative accomodation in Canmore in June at 5pm at night. Multiple people turned up whilst we were there also being told nowhere for them to stay. Terrible service

The location, not in the main building. Instead in a rundown building, room on second floor, with broken elevator since months and no one to help us with luggage. They told us that they had advised Booking.com of the issue. We were never notified. Place should be maintained. It costs way too much. The pictures shown on the site are not the same they assign their customers.

The cancel our reservation without any notice. S When we get there they just told us we have no place to stay. Everything was paid. Booking relocated us but with no prewar I g it was so difficult to find a good place. Awful and disrespectful trait.

The service at the facility was excellent - the staff went out of the way to accomodate us. The restaurant was also excellent.

The faciliy was in a state of disrepair and should not have been opened to guests.

The parking was a bit of a headache if I am honest. We did many laps before we could find a place that we could park in legally. Had to walk around with our cell phone, flashlight on to be able to read the signs.

Bei der Buchung hatten wir extra auf den Pool geachtet und deswegen mehr Budget eingeplant. Kurz vor Ankunft wurde uns jedoch gesagt, dass der Poolzugang nur noch für Gäste des Haupthauses sei. Die Flure und Treppenhäuser des Hotels (nicht Haupthaus) waren leider sehr renovierungsbedürftig und dreckig. Der Aufzug war aufgrund Überflutungen im Keller defekt. Es gab keinerlei Angebote der Hilfe für Gepäck.

Room was not ready at checkin. Finally was assigned an alternate room. Third floor with elevator shut down due to flooding. Parking at the annex was VERY tight for an SUV.

The location to the town of Canmore is very convenient, you can walk to nearby coffee shops and bars and a hike too. The local town is only a 10 minute walk away

The annex building is very tired. The inside decor of the communal areas looks like something out of a horror film, wallpaper peeling from the walls, skirting boards removed from various places, a terrible smell, lifts not works and flood coming from the basement with noisy pump. Now turning to the room itself, the room we were put in was on the ground floor and inside the room smelt like damp and petrol, the wallpaper was coming away at the seems, the ceilings were stained with an unknown liquid, the walls had holes in filled in but not matched in with the main colour of the walls, the bin in the bathroom was totally broken, the tiles in the shower were broken, black mould on the silicone in the shower. Finally, the front on the building is flooded and they are running pumps 24/7, the room we were placed in was directly outside the pumps which ran through the night directly outside the window which was nothing short of torturous

A week before arriving at this hotel we received an email saying we will not have access to the pool or hot tub, during our stay, despite this being included in our original booking. There had been a policy change apparently. No reimbursement offered. So basically miss sold us / changed offer after payment. However things got much much worse. Having paid and booked through booking.com in advance when we arrived to check in at 5pm they told me that due to a flood that happened 2 weeks before, they had nowhere for us to stay. This was said as a matter of fact. They acted like it was nothing to do with them anymore as stated they had told booking.com and blamed them for not informing us. We were told that people had been arriving all week in the same situation. So why they could not pick up the phone and reconfirm with booking.com to prevent this from happening is beyond me. (Especially as when they phoned booking.com for me when I was there, they got through and were able to speak to someone quite easily) Also if this had been happening to all the booking. Com bookings why did they not have a plan for how to manage it when people turned up expecting to check in. Instead they were just nonchalant and offered no help initially. We were 2 women over 50 with now nowhere to stay in a foreign country after 5pm expecting to check in eat and go to sleep. We then spent 4 hours stood at their reception with no offer of even a drink. After 3.5 hours I was finally offered a chair. The whole time no one came to check on the receptionist, give her a break or offer her any assistance. She was left completely on her own to deal with us. On a positive the receptionist did phone booking.com for us and allowed us to use the reception phone to phone them numerous times to try and resolve the issue and find an alternative hotel. I have no evidence but I suspect after over hearing conversation with other guest that the hotel cancelled all their third party bookings but relocated within their hotel all their direct bookings - which I guess is a good way to pass the buck and avoid dealing with any fall out- I suspect with us all turning up expecting to book in this back fired. We booked in to an alternative hotel at 9pm. Which thankfully after hearing our nightmare evening we’re able to provide us with food and a warm welcome. Wished I booked this one originally.

After an exhausting 24-hour journey from EU and a 1.5-hour drive to Canmore, we arrived completely sleepless, only to be turned away at the desk. We were told our room in the annex building wasn't available because the cellar had flooded around June 1st. That means the hotel knew about this for over two weeks, yet they did absolutely nothing to inform us. They simply blamed Booking.com for the lack of communication and washed their hands of the situation. In addition, the front desk employee who spoke with my husband was incredibly ignorant. She almost laughed at our situation and essentially told us that what happened to us was not her concern. It was, without a doubt, the worst and most unprofessional staff experience I have ever faced. The hotel made zero effort to accommodate us, and we were left sitting in the lobby, forced to call customer service ourselves to sort out the mess. In the end, we had to scramble to book a completely new hotel on the spot for double the original price. This ruined the start of our vacation and wasted time and energy that we should have spent enjoying our trip. We are still fighting with Booking.com to get the price difference refunded. The sheer ignorance and complete lack of customer service from the hotel's staff were unacceptable. Avoid this place if you want a reliable reservation.

If you book this hotel, NEVER EVER let them put you in the Annex building!!! And NEVER EVER book this hotel through a third party like Booking.com. Even Motel 6 is way better!!!! No carpet. Bugs all over floor. Moldy Showers. Just horrible. I booked this from pictures they post on the web. Yes, the main hotel looks like that, but the Annex is not even close to looking like this. It is a total dump. And the price wasn't less to stay there. We stayed one night and left early the very next morning. Not a good experience. And our reservation somehow got cancelled the very day (they say booking.com, booking says different) we arrived and were charged an additional $1500 just to get a room. It's a shame because the main hotel looked nice.

The room was spacious and clean. The location was convenient.

One area for improvement would be better lighting in the hallway, as it was quite dark.

The staff on Reception were brilliant and placed us in a Superior Apartment in their sister establishment.

The accommodation that we eventually experienced was truly superb.

They cancelled on us with less than 12 hours notice. And did not make an attempt to help us find other accommodations and with it being Canmore last minute hotels are triple the price so even the bit of an extra allowance that booking.com gave was not enough to cover a new booking. We were there to work a wedding and this added un needed stress to the whole event.

The pool and hot tub - the room - the patio and table and chairs there with the awning was awesome. The pub nearby was wonderful.

Check out time way too early. And it could be a little bit more reasonably priced but other than that - very nice, beautiful place.

Niet veel. Bij binnenkomst in de kamer was de kamertemperatuur 26 graden. Echter, de AC werkte niet want die ging pas op 1 juni centraal aangezet worden.

De accommodatie en de kwaliteit. Voor de prijs per nacht (EUR 300,00) is dit te duur. De accommodatie is gedateerd en heeft echt een opknapbeurt nodig. De kamernummers zijn op de deuren geplakt. (stukje papier met daarop het nummer en plakband !)

The pool was great, the kids loved it. The location was great too.

Not as clean as I would like (dirty dishes in the cupboard, kitchen table was dirty). Furniture in poor condition (couch was in rough shape and had stains on it). Not comfortable for the ones sleeping on the pullout couch (terrible condition).

Amazing location great pool area

Pool is starting to be very run down (looks like small particles from room are falling off and were on the pool deck for our 3 night stay. The showers in the rooms badly need to be replaced. A very dam smell in both bathrooms in our room. Kitchen cabinet doors and couch are very badly worn and in desperate need of replacing.

It was a good hotel with a nice view, also the swimming pool was nice

Location is very accessible, great amenities and Archer, the receptionist is very accomodating, kind and awesome staff. He is well oriented about hotel services. Overall, we enjoyed and were very satisfied with our stay.

When booking it makes the impression you can use the pool and hot tubs upon arrival they informed me I wasn’t able to use them because I’m in a different building. The reason I booked there was for the hot tubs

The location was good; easy to get anywhere in Canmore.

The bathroom was dirty. I mean scum in the sink and in the tracking of the shower. It also has a fancy shower but it doesn’t work. You can use the basic shower head though. The parking is also quite abysmal.

The location is the only good thing about this hotel.

Rooms were not clean, we had a half eaten hamburgerin our shower right after check in. The front tried to offer a bottle of wine as compensation and told us it was clean because there were no water spots on the faucet. The staff was the least willing to help, pushed us to a building called 'the annex' with no notice - didn't let us use the pool despite booking before they changed their rules about who could or could not access the pool. Terrible service. Will never book here again.

Parking was very limited, especially in the annex area. We arrived at the hotel in the afternoon and were able to find a parking spot, but when we returned after dinner, there were no available spots at all. This made our stay quite inconvenient and stressful, as we had difficulty finding a place to park.

The mountain view from our balcony was wonderful. The pool is great for kids and the hot tub we all enjoyed.

The cleanliness of the room we had. That there were parking problems and had to move our vehicle a lot and at inconvenient times because of the construction work they were doing.

Not clean, leaking & loud dripping sink all night long, fridge was loud and clunky, and everything was dusty, very outdated furniture and decor. No room housekeeping for three day stay. Had to call four times to ask for more washcloths. The staff at the restaurant were assholes.

Walls were not soundproof at all. We have stayed in other hotels in Canmore on the same road and could not hear the train at all. We could also other patron's conversations in the room next to us. Also, the room was not very clean. Although the location was convenient for us. we will never stay here again.

The hotell staff refused to give me the official receipt for my booking at the end of my stay. I tried to complain to them and Booking.com, but nothing happened, NOBODY CARES!!! It's a financial MESS up there!!! Since it was my business trip I need that receipt for reimbursement at my work. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT HOTEL!!!!

Just choose somewhere else. Staying in 2 bedroom suite. Room is not clean, tv has a line through the middle, pool is a disaster. Watch out for Bandaids. No staff to manage this place. Checking out early. From the time we checked in it’s been a mess. The Indian girl with AirPods in wearing a hoodie eating a bowl of linguini Alfredo was mildly friendly. Mildly. At 4pm, the exact check in time. Keys don’t work, but we were told they do, they’re just touchy. They don’t. Parking spot was taken, was told to move around until it’s free. Paper signs on doors to depict room #. Gym has no treadmill, not worth it. You’d think these condos would be clean and maintained. They are not. Stay elsewhere, there are SO many choices.

Wow. Really wanted to like this hotel but can’t give them more than 1 star due to incredibly poor customer service. Firstly, there is a major issue with parking. We were here for a minor hockey tournament and many people in our group had issues with people parking in their assigned stalls. The parking is tight as it is. Some people were told to find parking on the street. Then to top it off I called last night to ask for a later checkout. No one at the front desk answered the phone. Then when I called this morning I was told by Jake that they could not accommodate a later checkout (note that checkout is 10 am which is already earlier than most hotels) and “maybe if they had known sooner”. Maybe you should answer your phone! Do yourself a favour and book elsewhere.
