Une grosse déception pour un hôtel qui se veut haut de gamme Nous avions choisi l’Avani+ Koh Lanta en pensant séjourner dans un véritable hôtel haut de gamme, avec notamment une belle plage et des prestations à la hauteur du standing affiché. Malheureusement, l’expérience a été très décevante. La plage est quasiment inexistante, ce qui est particulièrement dommage pour un établissement situé sur une île comme Koh Lanta. Ce n’est clairement pas l’image que l’on peut attendre d’un hôtel de cette catégorie. L’établissement est également très isolé et loin de tout. Il faut prévoir un moyen de transport pour rejoindre les restaurants, les commerces ou simplement trouver un peu d’animation. Pour une famille, cela devient rapidement contraignant et les déplacements représentent un coût supplémentaire. Concernant l’hôtel lui-même, nous avons trouvé que les prestations ne correspondaient pas au niveau d’un grand hôtel 4/5 étoiles, notamment au regard des tarifs pratiqués. Certains espaces et services nous ont semblé davantage correspondre à un établissement de catégorie inférieure. Le principal problème reste donc le rapport qualité-prix, que nous avons trouvé particulièrement mauvais. Le prix demandé est excessivement élevé par rapport à ce que l’hôtel propose réellement et à sa situation. Nous avons également été déçus par l’ambiance générale : l’endroit est très calme, voire trop calme, et l’éloignement ne permet pas de profiter facilement de la vie de Koh Lanta. En résumé, un hôtel qui affiche un standing élevé mais dont les prestations et l’emplacement ne justifient absolument pas le prix. Pour nous, l’Avani+ Koh Lanta est loin d’être à la hauteur de ce que nous attendions d’un établissement de cette gamme. À ce tarif, nous nous attendions clairement à beaucoup mieux.

There is not much of beach there as its rockly part mostly. Room and balcony were spacious with the view. There were nnot much of vegetarian option but on our request the F&B team would prepare somethign for us. Great place for vacation if you want to limit yourself to the resort.

Though they had the availability, they did not consider an upgrade. Also one of the buggy drivers were not very friendly and welcoming.

The stuff was very nice and helpful! Especially the 2 ladies at the tourist information, they should get a raise!

Need to grab a buggy every time you go to the restaurant or hike there. The mattress wasn’t very good.

Very beautiful and peaceful property, got to see cool hornbill birds that was multiple nests around the property. The beach is nice and secluded and cool to swim in

Seemed a bit run down and the communal areas could have done with a clean. I didn’t ever see anyone clean the pool or pool area the whole time we were there, toilets by the pool blocked. Other than the pool, not much going on. Maybe it would be better in high season. Food wasn’t great, even chips overcooked and satay cold.

La posizione della struttura è ottima, sulla punta dell'isola, immersa completamente nel verde e dotata di spiaggia privata ( prevedere qualche lettino e sedia su questa bellissima spiaggia). A circa 2 km dal resort si trovano negozi, ristoranti e attività varie. Camere molto confortevoli, immerse nel silenzio , spaziose, letto e cuscini favolosi. Breakfast con larga scelta di pietanze. Abbiamo mangiato al ristorante sia a pranzo che a cena e ci siamo trovati bene. Piscina molto bella, ampia e con tanti lettini a disposizione. Il personale è un elemento di eccellenza!

Be prepared to the climbs, the hotel is on a cliff so a lot of up hill, but there is an hitel shuttle that you can call at any time and comes in under a minute

The property was really lovely. Very immersive and lush while still feeling like you’re at a resort. We mentioned it was my mother’s and mother in law’s first time in Thailand and they upgraded our rooms! The staff was so kind and attentive as well. We would love to stay with them again sometime 🤗

The only downside to staying here is that it’s a little out of the way from the rest of Lanta. We didn’t mind but if you’re a first timer you may want a more central location.

This 5 start resort exceeded my expectations. We stayed in the wet and so the value was amazing, we were upgraded upon arrival and the staff were absolutely lovely. The pools were beautiful but above all the private beach was extraordinary. I could have floated in that water all day! I had a great massage and the food was delicious. There was even a buggy that carried us up and down the hill between pools etc. All in all our family of 4 adults could not have been happier. Thanks so much for the great 5 days.

What I didn't like had nothing to do with the hotel. The taxi pricees in ko lanta are exorbitant. That made us reluctant to move around in the way we wanted. If the hotel had a bus and did a few runs each day then perhaps that would help? I know it would be a big enterprise for the hotel though. Other than that the stay was perfect! Thanks again.

L'accueil, le service navette au sein de l'hôtel nuit et jour, les attentions en chambre pour l'anniversaire de ma mère, le personnel vraiment très aimable et très attentionné à tous les niveaux, le cadre agréable de l'hôtel en général, la proximité du centre- ville , la gratuité du transport entre l'aéroport de Krabi et l'hôtel et Saladan pier, la propreté de la chambre et la grandeur de la chambre et son confort , les jardins, une réception à l'écoute H24. C'est un bel hôtel dans son ensemble. Cela ne nous empêchera pas d'y revenir.

Ce qu'il faut améliorer rapidement , ce ne sont pas des critiques mais des améliorations à prendre en compte: la climatisation est trop bruyante ainsi que les ventilateurs exterieurs ainsi que le réfrigérateur dans la chambre. Il faudrait mettre le réfrigérateur dans la petite pièce du coffre-fort. La literie n'est pas confortable. Trop dure. Le mobilier commence à vieillir. Je n'ai pas vraiment apprécié l'attitude du jeune chauffeur venu nous chercher à l'aéroport. Il a vu que nous avions un.chariot et que ma mère avait des difficultés à marcher, ce n'est pas nous qu'il a aidé et nous a laisser nous débrouiller seules. Il a fait le choix de prendre l'unique valise de l'autre client. En général ,dans une telle situation vous aidez les aînés prioritairement. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas assez varié.Nous sommes dans un hôtel 5 étoiles, il y faut de la qualité et de la quantité pour le petit déjeuner. Tous les jours c'est la même chose dans une sauce différente. Et proposez davantage de jus frais . Les viennoiseries ( il faut en commander des fraîches) ou apprendre à vos cuisiniers à en faire en leur offrant des formations. J'ai trouvé que c'était le petit déjeuner que j'ai le moins aimé parmi les hôtels dans lesquels j'ai séjourné en Thaïlande durant ce mois. Ce n'est pas un petit déjeuner d'un hôtel 5 etoiles , même pas 4 etoiles. Attention la concurrence est rude en Thaïlande. Il faut proposer de la finesse et du goût. Sinon pourquoi venir dans un 5 étoiles ? Il faut aller voir ce qui se fait ailleurs. J'ai commandé un chocolat chaud: c'était de l'eau et du chocolat en poudre. Ce serait bien d'en faire avec du lait. La carte du restaurant n'est pas assez variée et devrait proposer des photos en face des plats. Des prix assez élevés ( voir peut-être trop pour ma part ) au restaurant également donc les plats servis doivent être aussi bons que beaux et de la quantité.

We absolutely loved our stay at Avani+ Koh Lanta and would happily return. The location is fantastic — just 10 minutes from Saladan Pier and set on a beautiful beach with incredible sunsets. The whole resort feels relaxed and peaceful, while still being a great base to explore the island. Our room was spacious, spotless and very comfortable, and the food throughout our stay was exceptional. We opted for the all-inclusive package and were really impressed — this wasn’t buffet dining at all. Every meal was ordered fresh from the menu with starter, main and dessert included, which made it feel much more premium. We did have a few service issues during the first couple of days, mainly incomplete orders and meals arriving at different times. However, after raising this with the restaurant team following a couple of occasions, they were incredibly apologetic and genuinely took the feedback on board. From that point onwards, service was faultless for the rest of our stay, which we really appreciated. The gym facilities were excellent and we joined a few fitness classes which were great fun. We also hired a moped and explored the whole island in a day — Koh Lanta is stunning and so easy to get around. We did the 4 Islands tour which was breathtaking, and as people who travel to Thailand every year, some of the beaches we visited were honestly among the best we’ve ever seen. A couple of other highlights were an amazing night at Thai boxing and a visit to Soul Fitness for breathwork and an ice bath experience, which we’d highly recommend. Overall, an incredible stay combining relaxation, adventure and some of the best scenery we’ve experienced in Thailand.

We recently spent our honeymoon at Avani+ Koh Lanta, and overall, it was an amazing stay. The location is fantastic, because the resort sits on the corner of a cliff, it is incredibly peaceful and completely separated from any loud noise. The views were also incredible for sunset We were also very happy to receive a room upgrade for our honeymoon, which set a great start for the trip. It is also great to have free shuttle service to Krabi airport What truly made this journey unforgettable was the impressive hospitality and attentiveness of the staff. My wife had a minor injury at the hotel premises, and the team acted quickly to provide first aid. The level of care was outstanding—every staff member seemed to know about it and regularly asked about her well-being, which made us feel so comfortable and well cared for.

There were only two negative aspects of our stay. First, the AC in the bedroom had a bad smell, so we didn't use it for the entire trip and relied on the living room AC instead. Second, my wife suffered bites from small insects inside our room that we never actually saw. Aside from those two issues, everything else was perfect. The staff and the peaceful cliffside setting make this a wonderful place to stay.

Beautiful resort with amazing views, very peaceful atmosphere and lovely staff. The room was very comfortable and the pools were great. We also really enjoyed the private beach and the breakfast.

The shuttle system to go up and down the resort was sometimes a bit inconvenient and took time, especially with children.

Such a wonderful time to stay at fantastic place with surroundings with beautiful atmospheres, peaceful and lots of greenery. The resort is calm and relaxing, the pool area was pleasant. The room had exceptional view of the sea from the room with private pool. Sunset at The Rock was stunning, highly recommended. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and made me feel very welcome. I will definitely returning again.

We had a lovely stay, the room was perfect. The most amazing bathroom! The location and views were great, some of the best sunsets I’ve seen. The staff were lovely, the buggy service was also very helpful. Breakfast options were good and the food in the restaurants and in room dining was great too.

酒店内景色很美，带私人泳池的房型可以看到海滩日落很惬意，多人同行的话一定要有一个人订这个房型！很值得！酒店很大，接驳车响应也及时，所以从房间去大厅比较方便。

酒店的餐厅性价比低，虫子叫声有点太吵了，房间隔音还需要加强一下，从酒店出去海滩只能打 tutu 车 需要讨价还价，多次来回也是一次不小的开销，希望酒店可以增设去长滩的接驳班车。

Das Personal war ausnahmslos sehr sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Der Fahrservice zu den Zimmern hat gut funktioniert. Frühstücken mit Blick auf Meer und der Meerblick vom Zimmer aus, war schon toll.

Die Möbel in unserem Zimmer waren schon etwas abgewohnt. Die Armaturen im Badezimmer müssten auch mal erneuert werden. Aber trotzdem werden wir wieder kommen. .

The hotel, the staff, the food was all exceptional. We came for our honeymoon and they delivered. The room was amazing, super luxurious and large in size. The property itself was so well looked after every morning at 6 am they start cleaning the place and it seems like the staff never stop. All the people are so sweet and kind. The buffet breakfast was amazing, so much variety will miss it.

Just the pillows were too soft. But can't fault the place at all!

Very hilly property, buggy needs to be taken in the 35 degree heat to pool and breakfast which can be an inconvenience. However they always arrived within 5 minutes!

This hotel is an absolute slice of luxury in Koh Lanta, our only regret is not extending our stay. We stayed for 4 nights, and every single day was an absolute delight. We got the ferry from Ao Nang to Koh Lanta, and then a Tuktuk from the port to the hotel (be aware Grab doesn’t work on the island, therefore you’re at the mercy of taxis and tuktuks, and they charge a high price). We arrived at the hotel at around 1pm, and were greeted by staff. We sat in The Pantry in the air conditioning and were offered a welcome juice and cold towel - absolutely lovely touches. We were checked in seamlessly, and then given a map of the resort. Our room was also upgraded to a swim up room, which we were thrilled about. We were informed that our room would not be ready until 2pm but we were able to use the pool. We left our luggage at reception and took a buggy to the main pool. The pool area is gorgeous, super clean with plenty of sunbeds - during our entire stay there were sunbeds available at all times of the day. We were texted whilst we were relaxing by the pool to tell us our room was ready, we headed back, picked up the keys and were shown to our room. Oh my word, it was gorgeous. The rooms are spotlessly clean, really spacious and the bathroom was huge. The terrace is a super good size too. The swim up pool is gorgeous addition, surrounded by trees and greenery. The step into the pool is quite large - we had to sit on the edge and lower ourselves in and then hoist ourselves up to get out. We used the restaurant twice - one night for their à la carte which was fine, and the second night for their special songkran buffet. Every single member of staff is so lovely, super polite, can’t do enough for you. The whole resort if beautiful - so clean. We are already planning our return visit! Thank you for a fantastic holiday.

Die Lage ist fantastisch wenn man Ruhe genießt und die Natur schätzt. Das Hotel besticht durch seine Architektur und die Gestaltung der Aussenanlagen. Die sehr freundliche Rezeption hat uns beim Check-in ein Upgrade gegeben, so dass wir eine Pool Villa genießen konnten. Da das ganze Hotel vor ca 1,5 Jahren renoviert wurde, war die Ausstattung der Zimmer perfekt.

Leider läßt der ganze F&B Bereich sehr zu wünschen übrig. Die Zubereitung der Speisen ist mangelhaft und das Personal zwar sehr bemüht, aber oft hilflos. Insgesamt hat man den Eindruck es fehlt ein guter F&B Manager der etwas von Gastronomie, Atmosphäre, events und Service versteht.

Beautiful resort in great location. Staff were very helpful and accommodating given current travel uncertainties. Food quality was good and consistent (especially the buffet breakfast).

This hotel is a tropical retreat. As someone who has never stayed in Thailand before I was amazed at all the wildlife noises - cicadas, birds, monkeys, frogs. It was magical. We had a swim-up room (1121) which was quite shady in the afternoon and evening but I didn’t mind at it was so hot. The pools were quiet and sunbeds comfortable. We liked the location, it had direct access to a large sandy beach and a small rocky beach. The sea water was like a warm bath. Walking distance to bars and restaurants. Food and service were excellent. A memorable stay.

This is a peaceful place located not far from the pier, the room is specious and clean, the breakfast is great. There is a private beach in front of the hotel, also there are 2 swimming pools. Front desk staff Dada is very friendly and gave us a good recoomendation for local food.
