Although it was winter and we didn't use the pool or spa both looked great. Keen to return in the summer for a longer stay. We also really appreciated our room being ready so we could check in a little earlier.

I didn’t realise it was behind the pub and that Saturday night was noisy. The apartment was not very sound proof and we could hear the conversations of our neighbours and woken up by them.

The noise from next door the pub was tad loud the parking was tight squeeze to get in and out on our truck and never got to go in the spa as it always had people in it maybe if use had time slots for people everyone could get a spa.

The beds were terrible and the noises from the creaking Lockwood took a bit of getting used too. The pub is very close also, so could hear that some of the night.

We were not aware that our rooms didn't have any air-conditioning and sadly on the night we arrived it was very hot and humid and no amount of fans, leaving the doors open or windows open was able to relieve the mugginess (As we did close our blinds and leave ALL the windows open the following day to try and keep the room cooler, this did not work). So our party was unable to get any real rest till the wee hours of the morning. Sadly no milk was provided for the coffee and tea station. given the price of the room per night... I would expect milk even UHT milk to be a bare minimum in the room, when we called a few times to ask no one was available to speak with.

Cabins were relatively quiet though not fully soundproof from adjoining rooms (Tv's & doors). Also there can be loud 'cracking' noises from the rafters as air temperature changes (hot to cold etc)

Tried to lounge by the pool but got attacked by ants! Rooms might benefit from a safe and a few more hangers in the wardrobe.

Although we enjoyed our stay it was really expensive per night - over $500. It's over the top and I don't know how they justify the cost as it's not luxury accommodation. Teabags were not replenished (this is common in a lot of places - something always forgotten). They got the hedge trimmer out first thing Sunday morning (around 7:30am) and were shaping the bushes while we were recovering from daughter's wedding the night before. I asked them to stop and they did for a bit but then started again. I would think better to do it on a week day in the middle of the day
