Very friendly reception when we arrived. Our unit was lovely and warm. Amazing views. Meal in the restaurant was delicious.

This is not a 5 star resort in that the villa is on need of maintenance, especially the walls and doors. They need painting. Very bad wear and tear.

It was warm, and comfortable. The views were amazing.

The kitchen has the bare minimum supplies.

Dinner was prepared for me even though the kitchen was about to close. I also enjoyed the breakfast, looking out at the magnificent mountains.

No electric blanket on the bed was disappointing.

It was an apartment but only the bare essentials no bowls or platters for serving cheese and crackers etc

The rooms are lovely and clean.

Pay more attention to detail. There was one chair on the balcony? Not great kitchen cookware. Oven trays missing so cooking is not easy. Very few coffee pods. UHT milk, not good at all. I paid over $500 for 3 people, you can do better.

The location was outstanding and the staff were brilliant. Well appointed rooms and clean linen. The restaurant was amazing too.

The rooms were very comfortable but I felt it needed a bit of cleaning. We could see visible dust on the furniture and the oven was dirty. Apart from that we had a great time and will def come back

Appartamento spazioso e luminoso. Cucina attrezzata. Letti comodi. Camino a gas. La vista era pazzesca. Parcheggio dedicato e coperto a pochi metri dall’ingresso dell’appartamento. La colazione era inclusa ed era abbondante, servita nella hall della struttura principale bella e con una vista altrettanto strepitosa.

Il nostro appartamento non era stato pulito benissimo, ne’ i bagni ne’ i corridoi dove si erano accumulati batuffoli di polvere. Peccato, sarebbe stato un 10.

This place is absolutely stunning we had 20° perfect golf weather on Friday and Snow on Sunday was a perfect 20yr anniversary get away

The food at the Clubhouse was delicious. The villa was huge!! with a lovely gas chimney~

The lighting is a bit dark, no working space such as desk or desk lamp. The internet wifi is too slow.

The most beautiful location and scenery. Comfortable, cosy and clean accomodation.

Everything was perfect, this is our second stay.

Location and views were amazing. Property grounds are beautifully designed and maintained.

The villa was dated, basic and dirty. Nothing luxurious about the room, not like bookings photographs.

Great buffet breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. Fantastic location overlooking the golf course and out towards the mountains. Good sized rooms with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

The room could have been a bit cleaner. Quite dusty and the bathroom sink hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned. Bathroom floor flooded after using the shower.

The views from the living room & bedroom were sensational. The kitchen facility had everything we needed to self cater if we felt like it. The restaurant dinner on the last night was excellent. Overall a great way to end our holiday.

Staff were friendly and helpful, golf course was great fun, and accommodation very comfortable. The willingness of the staff to change our room to suit my wife's mobility needs was very much appreciated.

A range of zero-alcohol wines would have been appreciated.

everything was AMAZING

We stayed for two nights at Fable Terrace Downs and although the weather was not the best we had the perfect stay. We relaxed, enjoyed the spa and the stunning view. The staff were incredibly helpful and the food at the restaurant was delicious. We will definitely be back next time we come to Christchurch.

Definitely good value! Excellent view with the snow mountain just out of your door! Fully equipped with furniture and appliances, cozy and also luxurious! Staff are super friendly, food from restaurant are tasty, we have enjoyed our stay and will come back!

Everything was outstanding. From the hospitality of all of the staff, the accommodations, Andrew in the golf shop and the meals were all superb.

Beautiful scenery and well maintained resort. Friendly and helpful staff. We appreciated the congratulations card for our wedding anniversary.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay however some improvements can be made. When we arrived in the villa, the TV was on but not the heating. It was cold. Surely it would be better to put the heat pump on prior to guests arriving . The breakfast service was slow and food arrived cool, it wasn't hot. I think the Cafe was short staffed. A free dessert to share or free barista coffee for breakfast to celebrate our significant milestobe wedding anniversary would have made the experience even better. Doesn't cost the hotel much but makes the experience for guests extra special.

Location is great and family friendly, golf course is incredible, clubhouse is premium, staff were warm and welcoming.

Food during dinner. We ordered our steak medium rare but we got rare, actually closer to raw. It was extremely dissapointing for the price that we paid for.

The staff in the restaurants were brilliant. Enjoyed our first time experience with the clay shooting on site also.

Limited snack options but the drive in to Methven was not far and got a look into the thriving township.

The room was very dirty, with a thick layer of dust. The dust on the headboard, windowsill, louvers, exhaust fan, and furniture was very thick.

Friendly staff at check in.

It's average accommodation with poor wifi so slow at times I couldn't even download emails. Looks nice but level of comfort the same as less expensive motels/hotels.

The room was fantastic, great views and it had a lot of amenities. The rooms were really generous and the kitchen had everything we neeeded.

Beyond beautiful surrounds, settings, grounds, staff, villa, bedding, everything.

very! minor, but my hubby had a bad leg so we had to carry all our heavy cases up a few lots of stairs, however im sure if we had have addressed this, they would have put us somewhere so we didn't have to do that. also compared to other places we have stayed, that are a lot less fancy than this, the breakfast buffet was a bit sub par. Empty dishes and waiting for some to be re cooked/topped up. a lot less variety. in saying this, we could have paid more, and got individual breakfast options made at the restaurant. so all in all, pretty much great.

View and peacefulness

Room is large with large terrace face towards mt hutt Have Kitchen, washing machine, bath tub Came with breakfast, but excluded coffee.

Smell was bad. Like someone threw out last night before we checked in. If you have big baggage, there are stairs that you have to carry them down and up, but its not a big thing. Smell vomit from room 240.

The view, the facilities, the restaurant, were all top notch
