Took about 45 mins to check in because of some admin issue between them and booking.com. We’d paid on the app which they confirmed they could see, but they hadn’t been paid by booking. So made us stand in reception while they tried to fix that admin glitch- at 11pm. They then tried to get me to provide my credit card details for the room so they could charge the room cost to me if they weren’t able to sort things either booking.com. Ie to make it my problem. This is the second time an Accor hotel has messed up a booking and tried to charge us twice. Macro location ok. Micro setting is poor with homeless people sleeping rough just outside.

What guests love
- •Central, convenient location
- •Comfortable beds and spacious rooms/suites
- •Generally clean and tidy
- •Friendly/helpful staff in many reviews
- •On-site or nearby parking
- •Good breakfast variety reported by several guests
Areas to consider
- •Inconsistent breakfast quality (too sweet pastries, poorly cooked eggs, crowded buffet)
- •Small/limited gym facilities
- •No on-site restaurant
- •Parking cost/limited tariff options
- •Occasional unfriendly or inconsistent reception/service
- •Report of mould in bathroom (isolated but significant)
- •Kitchenette lacking utensils/equipment in some suites
Cleanliness
7.6/10Multiple guests praise the hotel as very clean and tidy, but there are a few significant negative notes (one report of mould in the bathroom), so overall cleanliness is good but not perfect.
Service
8.2/10Service is frequently described as friendly and helpful (check-in staff praised, personnel available to assist), though a few reviews report unfriendly or inconsistent reception (refusal to allow breakfast reservation at 3am, some staff described as not very friendly).
Location
8.6/10Location is consistently cited as a strength: central, convenient for city centre and events (Visa pour l'image), with easy finding and good proximity to attractions; some notes about side-street car access but generally very positive.
Room Quality
8/10Rooms and suites are often described as comfortable, spacious and with very comfortable beds; minor negatives include some rooms being basic for the category, missing chairs, a separated toilet disliked by one guest, and an incorrectly assigned PMR ground-floor room for one booking.
Amenities
7/10Good points: parking garage in/near the building and generally adequate facilities. Negatives: small and limited gym, lack of on-site restaurant, kitchenette missing utensils/equipment in some units, and occasional lack of oat/plant-based options at certain times.
Value for Money
7.5/10Guests value the comfortable rooms and central location, but complaints about parking cost/limited tariffs and some service shortcomings reduce perceived value for some visitors.
Food and Beverage
7.4/10Breakfast impressions are mixed: several guests praise the variety (including vegan options), while others report overly sweet pastries, poorly cooked scrambled eggs, crowded breakfast space, or no food available at certain times (e.g. Sunday).
Overall Experience
8.1/10Most stays described as pleasant and comfortable with helpful staff and good location; a minority of stays had memorable negatives (mould, unfriendly reception, poor gym or breakfast), resulting in an overall positive but not flawless experience.
