Le canapé lit un peu vétusté.

Établissement situé juste à côté de la gare, il correspond aux standards attendus pour les hôtels Mercure. Bon accueil et excellent petit déjeuner.

Le plateau de courtoisie aurait pu proposer plus de choix.

El personal del hotel está siempre disponible. Las zonas comunes y la habitación están renovadas. Es un hotel algo impersonal, pensado para personas de negocios no para unas vacaciones de verano en Saint-Malo.

El precio es muy elevado para lo que ofrece. La televisión está muy alejada de la cama. La habitación no está muy bien insonorizada, ya que se oyen los ruidos de la calle, además de que las cortinas dejan pasar la luz del sol, por lo que no se descansa muy bien. El hotel está lejos de las playas y del centro histórico, pero hay una parada de autobús cerca que te permite moverte.

We found it last minute, staff was accommodating with keeping your luggage for the morning/early afternoon, bed was comfortable and the shower had good products

I loved the location. The town was the best part of our visit to France. The staff was friendly by American standards (extremely friendly by French standards).

The room could have been a little cleaner. There was a huge stain on the carpet that a quick shampoo would have taken care of. I celebrated my 57th birthday and our 35th anniversary during this trip. I think the towels in the room did too. The site said there was parking but it was full so we had to park nearby (not really too big of an inconvenience though). Last thing, on the first morning we had breakfast my wife had a dirty glass on the table so she didn’t use it. The next morning we sat at the same table and the glass was still there, and still dirty.

Comfort corrispondente allo standard Mercure, personale competente. Purtroppo nella camera da noi occupata abbiamo avuto un problema con l'aria condizionata e la direzione a fronte di questo disguido tecnico, senza tra l'altro averlo richiesto, ci ha omaggiato della colazione per tutto il nostro soggiorno.

In 20 minuti a piedi si arriva a Saint-Malo. La struttura è nuova e ha un bello stile. I parcheggi auto nel garage interrato sono spaziosi e molto utili, vista la zona. La camera è carina. Acqua in camera nel mini-frigorifero. Staff cortese e disponibile.

Niente di grave, ma ci sono alcuni dettagli da migliorare per rendere il soggiorno perfetto: la camera non isolata benissimo a livello acustico, probabilmente anche perché eravamo al primo piano. Quelle ai piani superiori probabilmente risentono di meno il problema. Lavandino del bagno installato male, si fa fatica a lavarsi le mani. Al calorifero del bagno si sta scrostando la vernice. Il letto un po' duro.

Le Lit supplémentaire était un fauteuil lit qui se depliait et qui était tout râpé sur les côtés. Les draps du lit étaient tout tachés.

It’s a smart, well equipped, modern hotel in an excellent location close to the railway station. The staff are very helpful and they are always very accommodating with our bicycles, which are our usual mode of transport when we visit St-Malo

Mooie ruime kamer met goed bed. Badkamer is ook in orde. Lekker ontbijt met redelijk wat keuze.

Beter 10 euro per dag i.p.v. 15 euro voor gebruik van ondergrondse parkeermogelijkheid. Je zit nog maar aan het station van Saint-Malo en nog niet in het centrum.

Halbe Stunde zu Fuß zur Altstadt. 10 Minuten zur Fähre.

Fantastic location, plenty of on street parking available. We were family of 5 in a family room and it’s spacious, clean and perfect for us. Breakfast was great and there was plenty to choose from the hot and cold buffets. Although we couldn’t avail of the secure parking reserved due to the roof box on the car, the hotel were incredibly accommodating and helpful

I genuinely struggle to understand where the four‑star rating comes from. The Mercure Balmoral Hotel has clearly seen better days and feels far less modern inside than its exterior suggests. I paid €177 for one night in a standard room (even on a member prepay rate), which is an absurd amount for what is offered. I chose the hotel solely because I arrived late by ferry from Guernsey and continued by train the next morning – its location directly opposite the TGV station is undeniably convenient. The room itself is on the small side, and in my case the sloping ceiling was particularly frustrating; it feels like only a matter of time before you bump your head. The furnishings cover the basics, though the cheap plastic chair and stool stand out unpleasantly. The bed is fine. The walls are covered with marks and small dents – a fresh coat of paint is long overdue. The bathroom (from which a strange, musty smell emanated) reveals the real weaknesses: the water pressure is very poor, and the grout certainly doesn’t look “fresh”. The towel rack appears not to have been replaced since the hotel opened roughly 15 years ago and is visibly deteriorating. A positive note: the air conditioning works well, although it is installed directly opposite the bed, meaning you have to switch it off at night unless you want cold air blowing straight at you. On the plus side, the Wi‑Fi is genuinely fast. Breakfast is not bad – truly a mixed bag: Freshly squeezed orange juice is a nice touch, but the hot dishes are rather bland. The bread selection is acceptable; then again, you have to prepare your own tea water using a single communal kettle. Overall verdict: Anything above €120 per night is simply too much for what this hotel offers. For a single night on a business trip or in transit, it is just about acceptable; for longer (holiday) stays, I would not recommend it.

Personnel dispo et compétent, petit déjeuner varié et qualitatif. Propreté dans les parties communes et bonne situation géographique, accès gare routière et SNCF.

Entretien insuffisant des équipements de la son, joints dans un état indigne d’un 4 étoiles ( cf photo prise chambre 403) et sèche serviette dégradé.

Frühstück war vielfältig und ganz gut, aber die Qualität der aufgebackenen Backwaren passt nicht zum Preis des Frühstücks und der vier Sterne des Hauses.

Stort och luftigt rum med allt man kan önska. Hög sovkomfort med sköna sängar och sängkläder, bra morkläggning och effektiv AC.

Enda lilla minuset var att det inte fanns ett litet handfat på toaletten utan man fick tvätta händerna i badrummet.

L'accueil à la réception : nous sommes arrivés tard (en ferry depuis guernesey) et Franck qui était de service nous a fort bien reçus. C'est important quand on est fatigués.

Le rapport qualité/prix. Les tarifs sont élevés pour une ville comme Saint-Malo en cette période de l'année.

Мы были с 4 на 5.04 в двух номерах, номер на двоих и номер на троих. И вот в номер на троих - Первый раз нас сначала поселили в такой номер , который был расположен в самом конце коридора и там было полностью не исправное окно, из которого так дуло, оно прямо шаталось и не закрывалось полностью, там такая щель огромная через которую так сифонило, в номере было очень холодно из ща этого, ветер просто свистел Когда мы его открыли, увидели что там уже туда напихали миллион салфеток, пытаясь хоть что то сделать чтобы не так сильно дуло Это просто невозможно Вам срочно нужно отремонтировать этот номер Но нас смогли переселить из этого номера в другой, поэтому наше впечатление об отеле осталась хорошим.

Das Frühstück beinhaltet eine grosse Auswahl an Brot, warmen Speisen, Müsli und auch einige lokale Spezialitäten wie Crepes und einen Brotaufstrich mit gesalzenem Karamel aus Saint Malo. Die Lage direkt gegenüber vom Bahnhof ist ideal für die Anreise im Zug. Das Zimmer war relativ geräumig und ruhig, es hat Alles was man braucht.

Le petit déjeuner était top et le personnel très sympa et professionnel.

On a eu quelques soucis avec le chauffage dans la suite, la température ne montait pas au dessus de 19 degrés. Le personnel a bien essayé de régler celà, mais le souci a persisté. On a fini par s'en accommoder.
