Whilst we had a fabulous stay , there isn’t a lot of food o
Exceptional stay, almost perfect. This property os really well located with an amazing view.
well located, very good service, clean, amazing breakfast and very helpful staff
The restaurant was excellent and the facilities amazing!
The rooms were a little dated but large and very clean and comfortable.
Beautiful boutique hotel with fantastic staff
Overpriced
Excelent hotel with a great sea view! Very friendly staff and management! Can only recomand this hotel!
Incredible view !!!
One needs to have the car - otherwise there is nowhere to walk, except for a short promenade down to the beach
The location, the staff, the room !
Restaurant closes on Monday, wish we could have seen more of the amenities
Beautiful little hotel with the most amazing sea view! The restaurant served the best set menu we have had in years (1 Michelin star).
Exceptional! This property is run like a luxury 5-star. The staff is brilliant, the breakfast is small and curated. The hotel manager is such a lovely lady. Yes it is a bit outdated, but for the price offered, you’d be hard-pressed to find something like it. Breathtaking views too! Love love love and would come back asap
Good breakfast,
Pillows are too soft
The location is very nice, very quiet and the views are very good. Breakfast was decent, nothing spectacular, but nice breakfast staff. Staff at the pool was also attentive.
If you haven’t reserved a table at the restaurant, there is a high chance it is booked. There is no other restaurant close by and no alternative in the hotel itself, so for a 5 star hotel, one restaurant that has a high chance of being booked out by people coming in from outside is simply not good enough. They drive you to their sister hotel, but again, for a 5 star - not good enough as not really convenient.
The most incredible place , and I am almost hesitant to write a review , so this remains a hidden GEM!!
Nothing . Just pure perfection
The hotel is so beautiful—it's not overcrowded, with just the right number of people. The staff are superb and helpful, the hotel was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable with a very good quality linen and pillows. It's also very quiet. The pool is one of the most beautiful infinity pools I've seen; it’s very clean and feels like you’re in your own villa. The hotel’s policy of not allowing children helps maintain a clean and peaceful environment. You’ll need a car to get to this hotel. We went for relaxation, and it was great. The manager and staff were all very good and polite, and the breakfast was superb. We will definitely go back again.
Nothing. everything was perfect.
Amazing view, pool, garden etc. and staff were friendly.
Service was poor considering €1000 per night price tag. Our room initially didn't have any towels etc. and whenever we asked for anything it either didn't happen or we had to ask several times. Tried to order a bottle of wine from room service and it never arrived. Finally, we wanted to stay at this hotel because of their restaurant; however, they were unable to give us a reservation.
The hotel’s breakfast is nicely arranged! The staff is super friendly.
While it is an adults only hotel on paper it doesn’t feel like it (no bar, Entertainment etc). It’s quite quiet. It wasn’t possible for us to arrange for a dinner at the hotel.
Adequate
No in house food option on Sunday or Monday nights except to travel to Mirama Zero priority at gastronome restaurant ( the only food choice in house in the evening ) for house guests
If you are looking for a modern hotel in the hustle and bustle of Cannes, this probably isn’t for you - the decor isn’t as clean cut as other 5* establishments and the clientele are not loud or pretentious. But if you are looking for an quality authentic French Riviera hotel with great scenery and a chilled out vibe, this will be perfect. Hotel is on a road dubbed the Corniche d’Or - which has stunning hillside views over the Mediterranean Sea with twists & turns that any driver or cyclist will fall in love with.
A nice place with very a very attentive staff (especially Lisa and Sandy). The hotel has also a very good gourmet restaurant with an excellent chef and somelier.
The views were beautiful and the room very comfortable. The pool area was extremely relaxing
The restaurant was closed 2 out of 3 days we were there so you had to take the shuttle to sister restaurant or book a taxi to nearby village
Literally everything
The view from the Yaktsa is lovely - red rocky coast, lush greenery, luxurious villas, and the Mediterranean, of course. The restaurant/breakfast area takes full advantage of it. The pool is long enough to allow for lap swimming, and the daybeds are so comfortable and luxurious. The room felt cluttered and dark; phones, temperature control, and bathroom faucets need updating. The hotel sits below a busy street and gets some of the noise. No spa/sauna/sea access on site; access via the sister hotel Miramar lower down the hill (7 min walk). Excellent breakfast with enthusiastic, professional staff. Would not stay there again.
Excellent view, friendly staff, great pool.
Very hot room (seasonal air conditioning, apparently), so had no climate control.
The view , breakfast room and it’s service level and welcoming . The helpful team and shuttle drivers that took us to and from MBH the other sister hotel for facilities . Uber easy to get and bus stop just next to hotel.
The Jacuzzi could improve.
Boutique hotel, not too many rooms. Great views and breakfast was superb.
Limited choice for evening dining. Only a Michelin star restaurant on site although we did dine at the sister hotel which was a short walk from our hotel.
Location, beautiful place and welcoming staff
Nothing
Everything
Nothing
Exquisite experience and surroundings. We found the staff to be both exceptional and highly gracious!
Everything was fantastic, location, room, service, view, swimming pool, food etc. We were up-graded to a different, larger room with stunning views.
Unfortunately, during our stay there was a family with a child (who ignored the hotel's policy of being adults-only). Thus, it was one day partly rather noisy and destroyed the quietness and relaxation at the pool (what was our main reason to book this hotel). Even though this situation was certainly not the fault of the hotel management, it may apparently happen from time to time.
Stunning view, beautiful swimming pool, great breakfast; staff very helpful
For the price paid, better gym facilities and at more regular pool food/drink service; a bar would be a good addition; we had problems with our room key every day;
Location, view, breakfast, comfortable bedding, peaceful & quiet
Facilities, value
Friendly staff
Room was large. View is fabulous, also from the pool. Pleasant staff. Room with garden view still had a nice balcony with a side ocean view which was a very nice surprise. The location was a nice discovery on the quiet side of the coast and the little towns nearby have a couple very cute restaurants along the beach (fresh fish, feet in sand)… but beware nowhere is near walking distance and you need a car to go anywhere. AC and room was very quiet in general.
The hotel feels very outdated and definitely doesn’t feel luxurious on any level besides the view. Interior design is horrendous, dark, and heavy, and the common areas look sad, old and used. I’m not sure how this hotel gives itself 5 stars… there is no pool service, no normal restaurant, basically nothing but a pool and a small reception and a fancy evening restaurant + a shuttle to the awful sister hotel downhill if you want ro swim in the ocean along a concrete pier which feels like a gross 80’s relic. Honestly i found the hotel very depressing, without any atmosphere or vibe and not really good value for money. Finally, was very disappointed by the quality of breakfast in general… which is really a shame and easy to fix to make up for the rest.
Great service and views!
Good
Peaceful vibe. Views! Most staff fantastic.
Over priced. Two bad staff. No hot water for shower. Told to wait until the next morning, and I could have a shower after the plumber came. Arguing with frustrated staff in bathroom 10:30pm over shower not working in, I'm in my bathrobe. I was moved to another room. Window broke in new room. Staff said don't worry, happens regularly. Nobody came to check for broken glass. Surprise charged upon check-out! Beauty salon in nearby sister hotel. Wouldn't stay here again.
Breakfast was excellent with a spectacular view
The location is excellent, the staff exudes warmth, and the terrace offers an impressive sweeping view.
They're charging premium prices for what is essentially very inexpensive wine.
The view from our room was beautiful. A double aspect balcony overlooking the bay. The welcome from the hotel manager was genuine and friendly after a long drive. Nice outside space by the pool.
Pooe quality sheets and towels given the room cost. It felt as though the hotel was only part refurbished-a new themed approach but original bath rooms/doors etc. The reason we selected the hotel was because it had a resturant with a good reputation. It was closed over the time we were there. Dinner was organised in a sister property, and although the food was nice, the hotel was not as good. The surrowndings were more of a family hotel, rather than quality.
location, very friendly personnel
only a Michelin restaurant
Very friendly staff. The views were truly amazing. Excellent food in the restaurant. Very quiet and exclusive feeling in the hotel. Comfortable sunbeds and a heated pool :)
The only thing I could think of is a bigger fitness room in the hotel and better products in the hotel room (such as shampoo etc). Furthermore, the spa in the sister hotel was lacking products that I would expect in a spa such as shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. They had products available for purchase though.
Breakfast super with unique sea view
Electric engine noise outside the room
The view, the food, the staff everything was great
Beautiful views, wonderful staff, loved the arrival drink and candle. Nice touch.
Unfortunately the room was quite cold (January) and the heating was hard to operate. The bathrooms would benefit from at least heated towel rails.
The arrival at the hotel was perfect - we were welcomed by the hotel managers and received a welcome drink! The atmosphere was super friendly and warm, we immediately felt like home! The room and the sea view was spectacular! The bed super nice, the decoration special and the bathroom very clean. The breakfast buffet was small(er) than in other hotels, but therefore very delicate and fine food! All employees are very very friendly, supportive and kind! The pool is excellent (infinity) as well as the whirlpool. Our stay was part of our honeymoon - and we will never forget the time there!
Its no longer a 5 star hotel. I'd give it 4 at best and you can tell it has struggled to stay afloat during Covid. I was billed more for booking through Expedia. $450 versus $313 through the hotel. If i paid $313 then I would be somewhat ok with the quality of the hotel but not completely. The hotel needs upgrading. They only offer a sauna room now, no steam room and the sauna needs to be completely redone. It's old. You didn't have proper soap to wash yourself in that sauna room. My card key to my room 37 didn't work on 6 occasions. I had to continue to ask for it to be renewed. The food at the restaurant has always been kinda blah and still is. There are only paper cups in the room. Paper-cups for everything. They offer 2 types of teas in the room, black and green. You'll have to ask for a water kettle and tea cups. I did 4 days into the stay. Only my last day tea cups I asked for were removed by staff and not replaced. When I was leaving this was annoying. I was asked if I could wait like 10-15 minutes for my luggage to be removed from the room because the front desk clerk, who is the only working at 8AM wanted to check other people out. Is she insane?! Im standing right there and I TOO need to check fully out and was there first. I told her no and should have never been asked the question. I've stayed there now 3 times and wont be back. I should have just stayed in Saint Paul de Vence. Lesson learned.
I had a booking for two night stay at the hotel. Early morning after the first night I had emergency change of plan and spoke to front desk that I need to leave. Front desk promised that they will refund the second night stay and will work with Expedia. Yesterday, I found out that they reversed their decision and won’t refund second night. It’s hard to believe that a five star hotel would dishonestly attend to their customers and say one thing while there and do the other when I left. Very disappointing and I wouldnt recommend anyone staying there.
Location and astonishing views.
Great location and amazing view, high quality service and amazing beach club.
-Nice secluded location -Welcoming reception staff
-No air conditioning in common areas - not acceptable in a 5 star hotel during 30+ degrees heat -Certain client-facing staff, especially at night, don’t speak English -Restaurant food quality (breakfast and lunch) is horrible (supermarket level) while priced at the level of 5 star hotels in major cities (Michelin star??) -Standard laundry takes 2 days -Room keys regularly don’t work and require a trip to the reception to replace -No towels and no service at the pool -Rather old and run down facilities
Hotel Tiara was a beautiful oasis away from busy tourism. The view is breathtaking, especially at night. The property is so boutique that if felt like a luxury bed & breakfast. The chef customized an AMAZING vegan meal that I will never forget. And Sonya, the property manager, was magnificent. All the service and staff were stellar. It was a perfect stay!
Fantastic views, nice pool area and comfortable sunbeds! Great for anyone looking for peace and quiet
Superb location with an exceptional view. Room was clean but would have been nice to have a vanity kit in the bathroom. The pool is amazing, peaceful and the sun beds are great. There is a shuttle service between their partner hotel with access to the beach. Both hotels are superb with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. We had a great stay 😊
I could write a long review specifying all the details that made our stay fantastic. But one word covers it; perfect! From the setting to the rooms to the staff... perfect!
Lovely place with great service under normal circumstances. Breakfast staff were abit all over the place and not prepared for service during trying times. Though rest of experience was lovely. Food and room service was over priced even for 5 star. Food also not very flavoursome
Smallish hotel with very personable staff. Made you very welcome from the start. Excellent breakfast Very comfortable bed and pillows. Only negative was the noise from nearby building site - out of their hands
The setting in the National Park and ability to visit both hotels
This was the first stop on our honeymoon and I'd recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat. The room was stunning, the views were incredible and the service was impeccable!
Incredible views! Wonderful staff! Beautiful experience.
Great hotel in a beautiful place. Definitely a place to remember.
It was an amazing weekend break. Disconnected from the world in a incredible setting.
Treat you like family!!! (The right kind...lol) Awesome location, food, PEOPLE!
Beautiful hotel. Chosen to spend our Ruby Wedding Anniversary in a small but high quality hotel. The staff couldn't do enough for us and we were given an upgrade to a junior suite, although they didn't know about the anniversary. The room was huge and had everything you could possibly need.
It was a beautiful, peaceful hotel and the staff could not have done more to look after us. I would definitely recommend it. The views from the pool were incredible!
My husband and I wanted a place where we could relax and enjoy the Riviera without all the crowds and this was a great place for that! We liked that there were two hotels where we could use the facilities. The people were wonderful at customer service! We wished we could have stayed longer, it was so relaxing!
The hotel is a short and beautiful coastal drive from Cannes. The service is excellent and the day beds are beautiful! There is also a nice (small) infinity pool. If you stay here, you can also get beach (not kid friendly), spa (dry and wet sauna) and gym access to the sister Tiara hotel which is a one minute drive. Just ask the hotel to reserve spots for you. Dinner options are not as plenty around but there are a few. Breakfast at the hotel is delicious! Dinner is also good but it’s more for the ambiance and view. Parking is free. This is a perfect place to stay to enjoy the beautiful views without the crowds. Highly recommend!
Very chic small hotel on the Côte D’Azur, approx 5km down the coast from Théole-Sur-Mer. Our room (Junior Suite) was massive and had an extremely comfy king size bed, bureau, sofa area with large screen TV, double wardrobe dressing area and side tables. The very large bathroom comprised of toilet, double sink area and double shower. (Worth noting, the shower is amazing!) Our room rate was based on B&B. The breakfast buffet is excellent; a mixture of pastries, cereals, cold meats and cheeses, and “egg boiling station”. Coffee, teas and juices in good supply. The pool area is very well designed, with a good-sized infinity pool looking out over the sea. There are single loungers pool-side with double lounger beds in a separate chill out area. There is reserved on-street parking (unshaded) just outside the hotel and the sister hotel “Miramar” has an excellent sea front restaurant and a private jetty to access the sea. Ask the concierge for a lift to the sister hotel in one of the hotel’s electric jeeps - very cool! Word of warning, however. We were disappointed to learn on arrival that there was a wedding party booked that night at hotel, and the downstairs bar was unavailable. A little notice would have been appreciated.
We felt we saw some bait and switch when they took us to worst room in hotel, dark and overlooking nothing, and then told us for 80 euros a night, they could upgrade us. We had to take the upgrade, were there for 4 nights, and couldn't imagine being stuck in the room we paid for. Hotel is really nice, off the beaten path and quiet, small.
Nice hotel overlooking French Riviera coastline Helpful and friendly staff
A wonderful place with an unbelivable view !
Spectacular views from every terrace. Lovely staff. The room was compact and bijous! But very comfortable bed. Eaten alive by mossies, keep your window closed turns out there is air on! Stayed in for dinner, boy was it expensive! We also were able to visit the sister hotel down the road, which was lovely. More modern great little bay access for swimming.
my husband and i spent 4 nights there, had breakfast included in our stay, which was excellent. The area is very quiet and non-smoking. Pool is fantastic and warm at 80F, it was very relaxing. staff is exceptional, helpful, accommodating, very professional. the views from the rooms are over the bay and are fantastic. there is a restaurant on site, although we went out to different places in the area to eat. Cannes is only a 20 minutes drive away if you want to shop, be on the beach, and be in the midst of the highlife.
This hotel is an absolute gem. Everything about this place is class. Staff were extremely efficient and friendly. The pool and day bed area is beautiful, lots of soft purple beach towels to use, with a view to die for. Enjoyed the heated infinity pool (31 degrees). The hotel has a wonderful restaurant with view and fantastic high end restaurant food. Breakfast had a large selection of cereals, fresh fruit, meats, cheeses and croissants along with omelettes on request. Fruit juices and condiments are top quality. The only thing this hotel doesn’t have is a bar area, however there are various comfortable areas where you can have a drink bought to you from the restaurant area. Room was lovely and bed was very comfortable with slippers and robes provided along with Fragonard scented soaps and gels etc. Hotel is a easy 40 min drive from nice airport (20 mins to Cannes). There is also a fantastic restaurant at the miramar sister hotel 10 min walk down tyhe hill or 3 mins in the complimentary electric buggy car. Fabulous all round
Beautiful hotel with excellent customer service. A true gem!
Luxurious, beautiful.amzing view and welcoming. What else Can you ask for?
We had a fabulous time in and around the area. The hotel staff and service was second to none. However, we did feel that the dinner was very over priced for the quality and portion size of food served. We also felt that for such a beautiful hotel and setting that the breakfast was lacking in choice and presentation,
The hotel is beautiful and quite, perfect for a romantic getaway. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is delicious.
Gorgeous place to stay. Somewhat remote but beautiful.
