Quite a walk into centre of St Malo. Nice neighbourhood with interesting shops on the route though so not too bad.

location - it is at least a 30 minute walk to most places one might wish to be, and there are no convenient buses. OK with a car or bike, but otherwise exhausting.

Included was fresh figs, croissants, pan au chocolate with homemade preserves and French bread. Very stylish and no getting up from the table!

There was no space to place our luggage or move freely. Critically, the bathroom door hit the bed and could not open fully, creating a serious safety hazard and blocking access in case of an emergency. The hygiene standards were also unacceptable, with dated and visibly dirty carpeting throughout the room. Furthermore, despite the property having a courtyard, it was impossible to park our car as the access gate was far too narrow for any standard vehicle. This stay represented a breach of contract and a violation of basic safety and hygiene standards. We endured significant discomfort and risk. I strongly advise other travelers to avoid this property until these issues are addressed.

Reviewed Aug 5, 2026Vi havde et virkelig dejligt ophold på dette hotel og ville uden tøven vælge det igen, hvis vi kommer tilbage til Bretagne. Det, der især gjorde opholdet helt særligt, var værterne. De var utrolig venlige, varme og imødekommende og fik os til at føle os velkomne fra første øjeblik. De taler desuden engelsk, hvilket gjorde kommunikationen nem og afslappet. Hotellet er rent, pænt og velholdt, og man mærker tydeligt, at værterne går op i, at gæsterne har det godt. Jeg har glutenallergi, men det var slet ikke noget problem. Der blev taget hensyn uden besvær, og det satte vi stor pris på. Morgenmaden var lækker og blev serveret portionsanrettet i stedet for som buffet. Det foretrak vi faktisk, da det føltes mere roligt og hygiejnisk. På varme dage kunne vi nyde morgenmaden i den hyggelige lille have, hvilket gav en skøn start på dagen. Hotellet ligger omkring 15 minutters gang fra strandpromenaden. Værten anbefalede en fantastisk fiskerestaurant i nærheden, og det viste sig at være en af de bedste madoplevelser på vores ferie. Der er parkering lige foran hotellet, og området er roligt og føles trygt. Alt i alt et hotel med en varm og personlig atmosfære, hvor man virkelig føler sig velkommen. Vi kan varmt anbefale dette sted og kommer meget gerne igen.

Die Gastgeber sind so herzlich und freundlich, halten gern ein Pläuschchen und geben den ein oder anderen Tipp für die Stadt. Das Hotel liegt abseits vom trubeligen Saint-Malo der Altstadt (etwa 20 Minuten zu Fuß) in einer ruhigen Gegend. Frühstück gibt's bei schönem Wetter im Garten - und wir haben den Morgen unter dem Oleander genossen. Ein Frühstück, das keinen Wunsch offen lässt - und jeden Tag gibt's einen anderen selbstgebackenen Kuchen. ADORABLE. Alles in allem eine 12 von 10.

Das Zimmer war nicht allzu groß, aber sehr gemütlich. Unsere Fahrräder haben uns geholfen, schnell in die ville close von saint Malo zu kommen. Das nächste Mal kommen wir bestimmt wieder.

Reviewed Jul 19, 2026Sehr nette Gastgeber, man fühlt sich willkommen. Die Lage. 10 Minuten zum Strand und zum Rosarium. Ca. 30 Minuten in die Altstadt. Es gibt Restaurants und Läden in der Nähe. Die Umgebung ist nicht so touristisch. Das Frühstück wird im Garten serviert. Sehr nette Atmosphäre.
Das Zimmer war schon sehr klein, für 2 Nächte aber kein Problem.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026Das Hotel war sehr schön und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Tipps die Sie uns gegeben hat waren wirklich hilfreich und trafen unsere Anforderungen auf den Punkt. Die Lage ist wirklich perfekt: in einem ruhigen Teil von Saint Malo gelegen, ca. 5 Minuten vom Hafen und 20 Minuten vom historischen Zentrum entfernt ist diese perfekt. Das Frühstück im Garten war super: mit viel Liebe und in hoher Qualität jeden Tg etwas anders zusammengestellt und frisch serviert - einfach toll. Alles in allem eine klare Empfehlung.
Die Einfahrt zum Haus ist mit dem Auto ohne fremde Hilfe nicht machbar, da alles sehr eng ist.

Der Schrank im Zimmer ist sehr schmal.

We very much enjoyed breakfast which was a cut above other similar establishments with its local produce and home made preserves. We would certainly like to stay again.

Some of the decor felt a bit out of place, too modern, in such a lovely building. Heater cord in one of the bathrooms often thought to be a light switch. Not good during a heatwave!!

Sadly our car was so wide we didn't risk trying to get it through the gate but the parking on the street is free and a very safe area

I proprietari, gentilissimi, ci hanno servito un'ottima colazione preparata con prodotti locali di qualità.
La camera e soprattutto il bagno sono un po' piccoli.

De kamer was ietwat klein, maar het paste wel binnen de prijs-kwaliteit verhouding

Reviewed May 22, 2026It’s a beautiful and elegant building in a delightful part of St Malo. Parking was easy as there is plenty of on street availability and also a few spaces at the front of the house, although the access is narrow. Our room had a good shower. We appreciated the good lighting in the room. Breakfast was superb - a perfect French /Continental offering, all served with care and set in a lovely dining room.
I’d recommend eye shades as the curtains are light.

Reviewed May 22, 2026This B and B was a real find! The hosts were exceptionally kind, thoughtful, and helpful, the beds were comfortable and the shower really good. It was a great location for our day trips to Mont St. Michel and other sites smoke the Normandy coast. The breakfast was lovely and overall it was a great stay!
Would be nice to have an elevator! Or have a partner who traveled lighter 😉.

Reviewed May 20, 2026Tutto perfetto, i proprietari gentilissimi ci hanno preparato la colazione take away per poter partire la mattina molto presto. La struttura è molto pulita e in posizione perfetta per raggiungere il centro a piedi e poter parcheggiare l'auto comodamente. Colazione buonissima!

Reviewed May 12, 2026A highly convenient location being very close to the port. Our host and hostess went out of their way to make our stay a pleasure and the breakfast was excellent. It was extremely helpful to have on site parking although it is somewhat restricted. Make sure to arrange this with the hostess in advance.

Reviewed May 9, 2026Très contente de mon séjour et de l’accueil qui nous a été fait à mon animal de compagnie et moi-même. Confort absolu, tranquillité, beauté des lieux et emplacement idéal : gratuité du stationnement voire stationnement dans l’enceinte de la propriété ; 10min à pieds de la plage, 15min des sablons, 30min intra muros à pieds ! L’accueil est chaleureux et bienveillant ! Tout est délicat j ai passé un très bon séjour !

Reviewed May 7, 2026Sehr charmante Gasgeber eines kleinen Boutique-Hotels mit Charakter. Lecker Frühstück und auch unser Hund wurde sehr willkommen geheißen.
Wenn man mit einem etwas größeren Auto anreist, sollte man sich überlegen, ob man den Parkplatz im Hof nutzt oder lieber entlang der Straße parkt. Es könnte etwas eng werden.
