The owners are so nice and kind. They welcome you, explain to you all about what you wanted to know. Everything is very clean and the hotel is well located. Good value for your money. Rooms are not that large but the kindness of the reception makes the difference.

Very close to the Brittany ferry terminal and also the beach and shopping streets. Delphine and Yvan were charming and spoke excellent English.

We felt the breakfast was a little bit expensive, but very good, and very nicely served.

Great location within Intra Muros with on site secure parking. The room was well appointed and the bed was large and very comfortable. Lovely little breakfast room with a good choice of fruit, breads, ham, cheese and eggs etc. the welcome from the owners was really friendly.

Nice location, friendly welcome. Beds and linen were fine. Bottles of water and tea/coffee in room. Very nice shower and water pressure.

The area under the toilet wasn't clean but they sorted that quickly. A bit noisy as the building is old. Could hear people using stairs for example. Room was a bit tight on space for 2 people.

Nous avons été très bien accueillies, l'hôtel et la chambre sont très propres, bien aménagés et au calme, le petit déjeuner est complet et délicieux, l'emplacement est idéal à moins d'1 minute à pied de la plage. Après avoir testé d'autres hôtels qui étaient égalent très bien, nous choisirons désormais celui-ci lors de nos séjours à Saint Malo.

Lovely hotel at a great location. Close to everything in the city (and the harbour and beaches) but still peaceful and no noise when sleeping. The room was compact but perfect for us as we only needed a comfortable bed and bathroom as out walking or sightseeing most of the time. The owners, Yvan and Delphine, are lovely. Incredibly helpful and charming. Everything we needed was on our doorstep and parking was a 5 minute walk away. Would we stay again? In a heartbeat!

L'hôtel est très bien placé dans le centre de Saint-Malo Intramuros. Le petit-déjeuner, servi dans une agréable terrasse couverte, est complet et même avec un très bon cake fait maison. La chambre est petite mais bien agencée. Il y a du café/thé et une petite bouteille d'eau à disposition dans la chambre. Ces produits sont gentiment remplacés chaque jour. Le garage fermé est appréciable. Les nouveaux patrons et le personnel sont très accueillants et très sympathiques.

Just needed water & milk in the room.

We loved the proximity to the beach and also the shops and restaurants. we also enjoyed the use of the patio, having the outside space was a bonus! The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

the first room was quite small, dark and next to the road, and the bed configuration was not what we asked for, but as soon as we pointed these things out, the hosts did everything they could to make things right.

It is important for you to know that I never usually give ratings to hotels I stay at. However our stay at the Hotel Quic du Groigne, although for only one night was exceptional. The staff incredibly friendly and helpful and the setting beautiful. A great deal of care has been put into making this a delightful place to stay. Not only that but Monsieur parked our car for us and recommended an excellent restaurant. A cool shady garden was a charming place to sit and read in. An outstanding hotel.

L’hôtel était parfaitement situé! St-Malo est magnifique! Le petit-déjeuner dans la verrière était des plus appréciable …Les hôtes ont été très à l’écoute, intéressés à connaître leur clients. À refaire!

Good location , had parking, owners and staff were super friendly

While we were checking in early June in the young owners explained that they had only recently taken over, having moved to St Malo from Paris and they were still settling in. However there was nothing to complain about. A comfortable room right in the middle of town and a good breakfast the following morning. The underground garage attached to the hotel is not cheap and quite a tight fit, but because our car was loaded we were glad of the additional security. The owners gave us some good ideas for walks around town and where to go to eat. Thoroughly recommended and we wish them well with their new venture.

The hotel is really well located. We stayed in a family room which was perfect for us - glad to find a hotel that had one! The friendly couple running the hotel could not have been more helpful, recommending restaurants and shops and even parking our car for us. Breakfast was delicious too! We’ll stay again next time we’re in Saint-Malo.

This is a lovely small hotel located within the historic "Intra Muros" area of St Malo. Car parking is available in an underground car park beneath the hotel. Our room was quite small but perfectly adequate. Continental breakfast was excellent. Delphine and Yvan were friendly, diligent and attentive hosts who made us most welcome. In particular, Yvan parked and recovered our car from the underground car park which would otherwise have been rather challenging for us. It was a privilege to stay in such a historic location. Plenty of restaurants nearby, great walks around the parapets and a popular beach accessed via a small gate through the town walls at the end of the street. A memorable stay!

Camera un po' piccola e struttura priva di aria condizionata. La descrizione della colazione non ci ha invogliato e così siamo andati fuori dove ci sono parecchie strutture che offrono il servizio di colazione.

Staff were incredibly helpful and could not do enough for us! Appreciated them keeping some bits in the fridge for us to take on the ferry. Rooms were basic but perfectly functional for a short stay. Shower was one of the best we had during our time in France. Location couldn't be better

Unglaublich nette Gastgeber. Das Frühstück ist klein, aber fein und es gibt eine gute Auswahl. Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber und sehr bequeme Betten. Alle Sonderwünsche sind uns erfüllt worden. Die Lage ist super und es gab sogar eine Parkgarage, die man vorher reservieren sollte.

Die Lage ist super, man ist gleich im Zentrum. Die Motorräder konnten wir für EUR 11 in die Garage stellen (steile Einfahrt). Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Frühstück war eher Durchschnitt.

Équipe très accueillante. C’est la seconde fois que nous allons dans cet hôtel très bien situé dans intramuros ( proche et en même temps éloigné comme il faut des rues très passantes pour le bruit). Connexion wifi gratuite. Petit déjeuné très copieux.

The welcome of the hosts was exceptionally friendly— the room was comfortable and despite being in the centre it was very quiet. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We stored our bikes in the garage. Everything was great.

The hotel was within the walled old town of St Malo. We received a friendly and helpful welcome. Off road parking was available and our car was parked for us. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is small but full of character. Although there was no lift we were only on the first floor so it wasn’t a problem. Around the hotel there were plenty of small shops and restaurants. The walled town is historic and full of interest, with lots of period buildings. In spite of quite strong winds we enjoyed a walk around the battlements. Staff recommended a good restaurant nearby and we had a very enjoyable meal. The breakfast suited us with plenty of choice of fresh food although a cooked meal wasn’t available.

Our room was rather warm and stuffy during the night and although my wife wasn’t troubled I did not sleep so well.
