Hotel & Restaurant Le Charaban

Hotel familiar con un gran restaurante. Excelente trato del personal. Muy fácil aparcar en el propio recinto del hotel. Las habitaciones no son nuevas pero tienen todo lo necesario y con un tamaño adecuado. El desayuno es correcto.

Igual deben plantearse una renovación estética de las habitaciones, porque aún siendo correctas, no es el tipo de diseño al que los turistas suelen inclinarse en la actualidad.

Clean and tidy good welcome . Comfortable bed. Efficient and professional staff. Breakfast was ample. The restaurant and menu looked very good but we had already eaten en route.

Was a little further out of aosta than we thought and on main rd . Slightly overpriced for the facilities, but it was a Saturday night and may have been still on a high season tariff

A lovely positioned hotel with super views into the valley. Tea and coffee making facilities as well as a fridge. Covered parking area for our motorbike. Fantastic breakfast. Not too long a walk down into the centre of Aosta, which was interesting. Great base to go up the St Bernard Pass. Well worth a visit. Fascinating watching the bats in the evening too.

Busy road close by but got quieter as the evening went on.

L'emplacement répondait à nos attentes. Le parking sécurisé est un atout majeur pour nous. La propreté des chambres est à souligner. Le personnel a été attentif à nos requêtes et leur conseil pour visiter Aoste étaient judicieux. Et le must de tout c'est le restaurant qui propose des plats variés et d'une exceptionnelle qualité tant sur la goût que sur la quantité.

Rien, il conviendrait de moderniser la salle de bains mais elle reste tout à fait correcte.

Very friendly staff and welcoming

The prices of the food were a bit confusing. The prawn starter for 29Euros was well over. The wine and the rest of the food, including service was great.

The area is absolutely stunning.

The manager ordered us a tbone that cost €150 and half a bottle of wine for €27 euros, chose yourself dont let him pick for you. Overall a lovely stay but let down by his greed.

First and foremost, I have to mention the restaurant and then the view! This was probably the best restaurant experience of a three-week driving trip from the UK through Germany, Switzerland, Italy and France - which was not at all what we were expecting, since this was just meant to be a convenient stop on the way! Although we are meat-eaters and had the special steak option (it was our anniversary) the attention and imagination paid to vegetables impressed we the most; with vegetarian children I am always mindful of a restaurant’s options. The vegetable dishes were fantastic. The view, of course, is spectacular and the hotel is perched on the northern, outer, uphill edge of the town itself which means nothing restricts your 360 degree view of the Alps. Just stunning. The rooms and bathrooms are comfortable, well provided for, clean. Staff are also friendly and helpful; although we arrived in the evening and left in the morning, our main experience of them was, again, in the restaurant! If we are taking this route again, we absolutely will stay here.

Petit hotel traditionnel. Chambre spacieuse avec petit balcon. Grand lit confortable. Petit dej super pour l’Italie (buffet sucré et salé). Personnel très agréable qui parle français. Le restau a l’air bien mais nous n’avons pas testé car c’etait un peu cher. On s’est contenté du café voisin qui propose de bonnes pizzas.

Tout était parfait: petit déj, propreté, accueil, repas du soir. Les chambres sont climatisées. On descendait au centre ville en voiture, l'hôtel est situé dans les hauteurs d'Aoste, pas pratique pour y aller à pied. Je recommande cet hôtel familial, le personnel parle français (séjour en juillet 2026)

Purtroppo nella stanza si sente il rumore della strada, nonostante apparentemente buoni infissi

Hotel in zona residenziale panoramica, a pochi chilometri dal centro storico di Aosta. Eravamo di passaggio per un viaggio verso il lago di Ginevra e quindi abbiamo trovato comoda la posizione vicina alla strada verso il valico del Gran San Bernardo.

Prima colazione a buffet piuttosto essenziale. Avremmo gradito maggior varietà soprattutto per i cibi salati.

Le restaurant fermé, le petit déjeuner très pauvre (nous sommes arrivés à 9h00, le buffet dégarni et non approvisionné, bien que nous avons payé le prix complet.

Sehr grosses Zimmer mit vielen Ablagemöglichkeiten und ausreichend Kleiderbügeln. Der Minikühlschrank ist auch nett. Im Bad alles an Handtüchern sowie Seife + Shampoo vorhanden. Toll, dass wir unsere Motorräder unter dem Dach des Schuppens parken konnten. Durch die Höhenlage in Aosta war keine Klimaanlage notwendig und das Zimmer war durch die Lage nach hinten auch sehr ruhig. Frühstück mit Büffet und von Müsli bis zum Kuchen alles da.

Personal spricht kein Deutsch, man muss sich mit Englisch behelfen.

Schönes kleines Hotel, das wir für die Heimreise von Italien über das Aosta-Tal für eine Nacht gebucht hatten. Das Doppelzimmer ist schlicht und praktisch eingerichtet, wir hatten einen sehr schönen Blick aus unserem Fenster über den Ortsteil und Richtung Berge. Vom Hotel aus kann man direkt in Wanderwege einsteigen. Abends haben wir im Hotel-Restaurant sehr lecker gegessen. Allerdings ist es im Vergleich zur Hotel-Übernachtung sehr hochpreisig. Das Frühstück am nächsten Morgen war sehr gut mit einer großen Auswahl an frischen Produkten.

Mein Zimmer war angenehm geräumig und sauber, die Klimaanlage super. Das Frühstücksbuffet war großzügig bestückt, südländisch süß hat überwogen. Aber auch Müsli und Obst war angeboten. Der Cappuccino wurde frisch zubereitet serviert.

Für mich war alles angenehm und ohne Mängel.
