Great location, nice pool and garden area

Lake view was construction view - which wasn’t announced or described upfront which is not right and fair. I understand that there is time where you have to deal with construction but you need to tell this upfront- especially when we are in a high cost vacation location

We liked the location and the setting plus the restaurant and bar staff were excellent

We upgraded to an apartment which was good space but the Air conditioning was terrible we did ask reception to look at it but Nothing changed , also it’s opposite a building site which we were not informed of which was a great shame

A great, luxury-class hotel with well-trained staff who are always welcoming and ready to handle any request. I’d like to give a special shout-out to Petr—a very diligent young man who was always available to help. Excellent rooms, grounds, pool, and a private pier. Hassle-free parking. Assistance with moving luggage to and from the room. I absolutely love this place!

Apartment-Zimmer erfüllte leider nicht ganz die Kategorie der restlichen Hotelanlage - Wohnbett für dritte Person nimmt den kompletten Raum der Wohnküche und des Eingangsbereichs in Anspruch - Räume im Erdgeschoss bzw. unter dem Dach sind allgemein sehr dunkel - zum Übernachten für 2 Nächte war es aber ok

The property is situated directly on the lake and offers a wonderfully peaceful setting. We loved the pool area, onsite restaurant, evening bar, and overall tranquility. There is also a local pizzeria just down the street with a wide variety of options to accommodate virtually every taste.

The location is beautiful and peaceful, although getting to and from the property requires some advance planning. Guests should expect to rely on a taxi, private driver, or rental car, particularly when visiting nearby attractions, restaurants, or transportation hubs. This is a worthwhile tradeoff for the tranquility of the setting, but transportation should be arranged ahead of time for a convenient and stress-free stay.

וואו איזה מלון! מושלם! הכל ברמה סופית, האוכל טעים ברמה לא הגיונית. ארוחת הבוקר מפנקת עם מאפים ברמה של מאפיית בוטיק בפריז, הבריכה מעלפת ברמות, השירות מהמם, החדרים ענקיים, עם סלון ומטבח, מושלם ברמות אם מגיעים עם ילד אפשר להיות בסלון בנחת אחרי שהולך לישון :) נחזור בוודאות!

Das Frühstück könnte besser sein. Es gab nur Schweinewurst , kein Lachs , keine Pute oder Rindfleisch Aufschnitte. Käse Auswahl war ok. Das Restaurant war sehr überteuert. Preis Leistung vom Restaurant stimmt nicht. Geschmacklich nicht überzeugend.

Die Lage hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Personal war sehr nett.

Das Frühstück hatte eine sehr kleine Auswahl. Kein Lachs, Pute oder Rinder Aufschnitt. Lediglich Schweinewurst. Das Hotel Restaurant war leider sehr schlecht. Preis Leistung stimmt über nicht.

Až na ty číšník, ti by mohli být více vstricni a netvarit se jakože obtezujete a obletovat nejdrive hosty, kteri zrejme utrati více penez resp.jsou tam déle než vy. Preci jen je to 5-ti hvezda a tady to teda rozhodne nepatri.

Loved the pool, the views by the lake, the lovely indoor bar area, the breakfast! The room and balcony were spacious, the property was gorgeous. Gardone Rivera is a lovely location on the lake, and much more peaceful than some of the other towns

Nothing! But just to note, especially in the heat, you needed a car, or taxi to get places, walking along the main road to get to dinner or catch ferry was not really a (pleasant) option.

Sehr schönes Hotel in ruhiger Lage direkt am See! Tolles Frühstücksangebot und auch das Abendessen á la Carte war sehr gut.

Das einzige Manko war, das die Klimaanlage im Apartment etwas zu wenig gekühlt hat.

A beautifully designed hotel. Very original and modern inside yet the character of the original building preserved. Excellent service particularly the staff at the front desk all of whom went over and above. Room very comfortable especially the bed and pillows and very well apportioned. Food also excellent and the location and views over the lake are perfect.

A small quibble. We had our dog with us but there were no dog bowls in the room. He was very well looked after in the rest of the hotel though!

Lage mit direktem Seezugang super, Straße allerdings stark zu hören . Zimmer super schön und sehr sauber alles im Haus und den Zimmern .

Service am Pool, man musste immer bewusst hinlaufen um was bestellen zu dürfen. Sehr blinde Plastikgläser mit vielen Gebrauchsspuren, auf Nachfrage hieß es das dies am Geschirrspüler liegt . Kann sein , sollte dann aber öfter ausgetauscht werden oder andere Spülmittel benutzt werden. Geschirr an den Liegen stand stundenlang rum . Viele tolle Mitarbeiter, manche sollten noch etwas geschult werden was die Serviceorientierung angeht. Durch die zugehörigen Appartmens viele Kinder . War vor drei Jahren kein Problem, diesmal schon, allerdings eher ein Aufsichtsproblem einer Mutter. Preise sind stark gestiegen , die Leistung nicht . Vorher waren wir in der perfekten Villa Cortine, vielleicht waren wir deshalb auch etwas enttäuscht .

Amazing hotel. We slept in the apartments building because we were four but im sure the rooms are even better! Garden and pool and access to the lake are all mind blowing. Breakfast is nice and rich!

Hotel room and fasciitis were very nice. Breakfast and breakfast service was excellent!

Difficult to get to, requiring very expensive transfers to get there. Everything at the resort food and beverage wise was quite expensive, simply because it is a five star resort and not because the quality was any better. Dinner in the restaurant one night was in fact very average, but still pricey and the service staff was also very average and didn’t do as I had specifically asked regarding the split of the bill. As we arrived prior to check in time, my wife and I went to the breakfast area and were charged 100 for what was essentially just coffee and pastries. They did reverse one of the 50 charges, but only after I said something at check out and saw the bill.

Ich wollte zum Frühstück gerne einen Smoothy , was leider nicht ging

Sehr schöne Lage und grosszügige Hotelanlage. Genügend PP vorhanden. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. In den Zimmern grosszügige Bäder und auch wurden die Zimmer für den Abend nochmals zubereitet. Wenn man ohne Auto nach Gardone Riviera gehen möchte, dann gibt es einen Bus, der alle 30' fährt (Fahrtdauer 7'). Bus ist selten pünktlich. Doch das hat mit dem Stau zu tun, der auf der gesamten Strecke herrscht. Vorhanden ist ein gut ausgebauter Fussweg (25'), der vom Hotel nach Gardone Riviera oder auf die andere Seite nach Maderno. Das Frühstücksbuffet war grundsätzlich ausgezeichnet. Jedoch bei der Brotauswahl hätte ich mir wenigsens ein kompakteres Brot gewünscht (Bsp: Sauerteigbrot, Vollkornbrot, Brot mit mehr Roggenanteil). Viele frische Früchte waren vorhanden und eine grosse Auswahl an Yoghurts. Beim geräucherten Lachs gab es gar keine Beilagen wie Kapern, Zwiebeln oder Meerrettichschaum. Auf Nachfrage erhielt ich dann Meerretichcreme, die aber nicht zu empfehlen ist. Aus meiner Sicht wirklich nicht gut war der Cappuccino. Ich kann mir das nicht erklären, doch in der CH erhalte ich beinahe überall einen viel besseren Cappuccino (Zubereitung, zu viel Milchschaum). Bin dann auf den Espresso macchiato umgestiegen. Sehr gut waren die Drinks am Abend (Kompliment an den Barista). Den Drink konnte man draussen an der Mauer zum See einnehmen, sehr romantisch mit super Sicht auf den See und die beleuchteten Ufer. Sehr schön gemacht ist auch der Gehsteg über dem Wasser. Auch der wunderbare Garten und der Pool sind dabei zu erwähnen. Schöner alter Baumbestand und beim Pool gute und viele Liegen und Badetücher. Auch schön gemachtes und sauberes Badehaus mit Duschen und WC's.

Nachtessen: Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis stimmt meiner Meinung nach nicht. Dann ist die Auswahl für ein 5*-Hotel zu dürftig. Wir waren für 5 Nächte dort und haben 2x gegessen. Grundsätzlich war das Essen sehr gut, auch die Desserts waren excellent. Zwei Dinge waren aber enttäuschend: a) Das Fischfilet a la griglia war definitiv nicht alla griglia sondern gedünstet. b)Spaghetti fregola mit Meeresfrüchten: wer dieses Gericht nicht kennt weiss nicht, dass es sich um ein sardisches Gericht handelt. Die Spaghetti sind also keine solchen im herkömmlichen Sinn, sondern es sind Hartweizenkügelchen. Das wäre ja nicht unbedingt ein Problem, doch es sollte auf der Menuekarte kurz erklärt sein. Dann war die Beilage an Meeresfrüchten definitiv viel zu kleinlich bemessen.

Appartementen vallen tegen, airconditioning werkte niet en of onvoldoende, kwaliteit slaapbank was minimaal. Appartement wordt aangeprezen voor 5 personen, is eigenlijk alleen geschikt voor 3 volwassenen of 2 volwassenen met jong gezin! Prijs kwaliteit niet in balans.

Room constantly stank of sewerage... No other rooms available so had to grin and bare for the whole stay! Really shouldn't be the case for a hotel of this price/quality. Also very surprised the hotel didn't offer anything in lieu of this

Nous avons pris l’une de leur dernière chambre très petite, pas de machine à café dans la chambre très dommage pour un 5 étoiles en Italie.
