Posizione del posto terribile. Intorno non c’è nulla se non un supermercato. La sera per andare a cena è assolutamente necessario avere la macchina e farsi 20 minuti per andare a Morro Jable.

Cet établissement est très original, l'architecture des chambres est très dépaysante et bien pensée. Le restaurant pour le diner est très bon, et agréable , o n peut diner en terrasse, le personnel est très professionnel et sympathique. Le petit déjeuner est bien avec des produits locaux , seul bemol: l'attente pour oeufs ou des pancake est beaucoup trop longue- 10 minutes le premier matin et 30 minutes le 2eme. c'est trop. Pour parfaire le tout :un jus d'orange pressée frais serait un vrai plus car celui servi est très chimique . la piscine est très acceuillante et accessible ainsi que les transats. Un peu effrayées par les précédents commentaires lus , nous ne regrettons pas notre choix . Nous avons croisés trois chats mais qui ne s'approchent pas des humains. Pourtant nous on aime bien les chats ! le monsieur de l'accueil est très sympa et serviable. Des restaurants très bien sont accessibles à pied dans la station balnéaire en contre bas.

Hôtel atypique, logement grand avec terrasses privées. Propre. Petits déjeuners et dîners parfaits. Personnel souriant, à l'écoute et très sympathique. Hôtel très calme.

Infrastructure toutefois vieillissante. Dommage de ne pas avoir la possibilité de boire un verre en dehors des repas. Présence de cafard (mais bombes insecticides à disposition). Véhicule indispensable pour bouger mais belle plage à proximité. Une bouteille d'eau offerte pour notre accueil aurait été appréciée.

La limpieza no me gustó ,el primer día que llegamos tenía cajones sucio con arena y bolsas de plástico el jacuzzi también estaba sucio con pelos y restos de jabón.

Μου άρεσε πολύ το σχέδιο του διαμερίσματος!! Ωραία θέα από το μπαλκόνι αλλά και εσωτερική αυλή. Το καθιστικό είναι αίθριο με τζαμαρίες και το γραφείο που διαθέτει είναι ιδανικό για όσους θέλουν να εργαστούν.Το μπάνιο πολύ μεγάλο,με ντουζιέρα και μπανιέρα. Απολαυσα την διαμονή μου για τρεις ημέρες σε αυτό το ιδιωτικό σπιτάκι . Το πρωινό καλό,και είχαμε την επιλογή να μας ετοιμάζουν ομελέτα.

The rooms are a great size with a private patio with sunbeds, 2 double beds which are reasonably comfy settee in the lounge area and a kettle and a coffee maker, it seems wrong that they charge you for a bottle of water and for coffee for the machine, Bathroom again is a good size but seriously needs looking at the mosaic tiles had a patch covered by a bit that didn’t even fit properly Reception staff were great but breakfast staff were generally quite rude. The breakfast was awful, machine juice, cheap bread with no butter only margarine, really not good, you’d be better off going down the road to the shop and getting your own, can’t comment on the pools as didn’t use them at all and hardly anyone else did. There is a funny smell in the bathrooms.

Hotel con casette simili a igloo veramente bellissime..bagno scenografico con vasca idromassaggio e finestra sul giardino interno della stanza. Pulizia impeccabile, colazione ricca e buona (oltre al ristorante c'è un chiringuito che cucina solo le uova, in tutti i modi possibili). Personale molto cordiale e disponibile. Il giorno della partenza avevamo il volo presto e abbiamo lasciato l'hotel prima dell'apertura del ristorante per la colazione ma ci hanno ugualmente fatto trovare qualche snack pronto per il viaggio.

Quizás de la primera vez q estuve ahora se nota el paso de los años y el desgaste del poco cuidado q tienen algunos inquilinos. Igual es hora de ir pla tea dose algún maquillaje de puesta a punto y aunq fuimos en temporada baja alguna comida algo pobre y no variada

Logement beau et très original, intimité totale, bonne climatisation. Piscine intérieure chauffée Petit déjeuner bien Diego, le serveur, est toujours très agreable/souriant/dynamique Le jeune qui cuit les oeufs est très sympa et professionnel (contrairement à l'autre)

Manque de précision sur la description ou lors du check in : même en 1/2 pension les boissons du dîner ne sont pas incluses (même pas l'eau ), et le pantalon pour les hommes est exigé le soir (d'ailleurs l'interpellation par la fenêtre par le serveur Yazid a été limite insultante. Surtout que par la suite, il a accepté un monsieur plus âgé en short...) Les piscines extérieures sont trop froides, et le life guard n'est jamais présent (ou se balade au téléphone) , du coup impossibilité de lui rendre les serviettes bleues . La plage n'est pas trop loin, mais il faut être sportif et bien chaussé pour y aller (énormément de nudistes)

Hotel infestado de bichos: cucarachas, chinches y arañas. Con mal olor por culpa de unas tuberías antiquísimas que requieren un cambio urgente. Nos levantábamos cada día con nuevas picaduras y lo peor es que ha viajado en nuestras maletas y ahora estamos luchando con la plaga en nuestra casa. No recomiendo ir hasta que se reforme el hotel. Era un 4 estrellas hace 20 años. Ahora no se merece ninguna por las instalaciones anticuadas y sobre todo por las plagas.

Betten sehr durchgelegen, bzgl der Sauberkeit sollte man nicht zu sehr in die Ecken schauen, Kakerlake im Badezimmer (und in allen Schränken Insektenspray, das scheint kein Einzelfall zu sein), Frühstück mittelmäßig, alles etwas heruntergekommen (abgeschlagene Ecken an Möbeln, ausgefranste Handtücher), Lichter im Zimmer haben nicht alle funktioniert, Jacuzzi-Badewanne brummt nach Benutzung noch 4 h nach und ließ sich nicht anders ausschalten außerdem keine einzige Katze auf dem Gelände angetroffen

Struttura molto bella, si tratta di piccole cassette fatte a igloo composte da cortile con sdraio sedie e ombrelloni e doccia esterna, all'interno ampia camera da letto, salotto e bagno molto grande. Tutto molto comodo, personale gentile. C'è una palestra anche se piccola e un po' datata, e una piscina.

La colazione avrei preferito fosse più fresca, invece il succo e l'acqua provengono da una macchinetta, le marmellate sono monoporzione, e non c'è alcun latte o yogurt vegetale. Per il resto, l'albergo è molto bello ma non vi suggerirei di soggiornare a costa calma, perché fuori gli alberghi non c'è assolutamente niente, è una tristezza infinita. Consiglio di dormire nella vicina Morro Jable, che ha qualche ristorante, una piazza e qualche via dove passeggiare, un lungomare.

Wir kommen immer wieder sehr gerne, weil es eine ruhige und entspannte Atmosphäre bietet und in der nähe beim Meer liegt.

Tja, der gesamte Eindruck der Hotelanlage ist insgesamt gut, vor allem die Gartenanlage respektive Sukkulenten-Sammlung ist super erhalten und gepflegt. Doch leider merkt man die Sparhand an einigen stellen. Die Matratzen sind durch, die Liegen am Pool sind defekt und die dazugehörigen Matten sind entfernt. Der Pool Bereich ist sauber gehalten jedoch in die Jahre gekommen. Der Bodenbelag löst sich auf, so auch im Pool inneren. Das Service-Personal im Restaurant ist zwar freundlich, jedoch nicht mehr so eingespielt, mit Ausnahme des wohl Dienstältesten im Service der ist Top!- zu gestresst und wenig abgestimmt- gefühlt Täglich ging irgendwie was an Geschirr zu Bruch. Sitzkissen müssen nun selbst vom Stapel genommen werden😊 und zum Frühstücken gibt es Fleischmesser für den Butteraufstrich- willkürlich Hauptsache es ist Besteck 🍴 aufgetischt. Sehr schade, war für uns genau doch das Abendessen auch ein Genuss und bildete immer ein guter Tagesabschluss und hat vieles an kleineren Mängel immer wieder Wettgemacht. Nun haben wir dieses Jahr halt vereinzelte Abendessen ausgelassen und haben auswärts gegessen! Super ist aber das Reinigungspersonal- die Zimmer wurden immer sauber gehalten👍👏

The hotel is exactly as shown in the pictures - a bit outdated, but very charming and unique. As the other reviews say, all the staff were lovely, everything was super clean and the whole property is well looked after.

It is our fourth visit to Risco Del Gato as we simply love it here. We have stayed in many Hotels and rentals on the island but we often find ourselves returning to this Hotel. Here’s why.. we love the friendly staff, especially Bernardino on reception who is simply wonderful, so friendly and welcoming. The food is far superior to many of the large hotels which cater to hundreds. Every other evening is a five course sit down meal with a menu for you to choose from and it is always, I mean this, always delicious. Other evenings are often themed with Italian, traditional Spanish and US food style which are served buffet style with a chef cooking fresh food for you. The Hotel is quiet so if you prefer a noisy, music, drinking, hundreds at dinner & breakfast hectic vibe, this isn’t for you. It is peaceful and tranquil and a wonderful space to wind down.

Ich habe mich sehr wohl in meinem Bungalow gefühlt. Privatsphäre und gemütlich. Das Personal mega freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Alles sehr sauber.

Naja man müsste einiges renovieren. Hat aber seinen Charme.

La suite

De locatie en het type accomodaties hebben alles in zich voor een fijn verblijf, en de medewerkers waren vriendelijk.

Alles is ontzettend oud en achterstallig onderhouden. Het hele hotel is toe aan een flinke renovatie. Van gescheurde en verschoten kussens tot zwarte voegen in de badkamer, een verroeste föhn en kapotte tegels. Hier is echt een opfrisbeurt nodig!

Eine wunderschöne Anlage, wenn auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Dennoch sehr stimmungsvoll und herrlich viel Privatsphäre. Aufgrund der ausgefallenen Bauart (runde Formen) auch nich ganz einfach zu renovieren.

Die Leistungen der Küche ist sehr schwankend und teilweise etwas fragwürdig. Das Frühstück ist ok. Das Abendessen nicht immer. Wenn das Hotel schon altersbedingte mängel bezüglich heutiger Standarts aufweist, sollte man doch wenigstens bei der Gastronomie keine Blöße geben.

Die Anlage ist schön angelegt und gepflegt, die Größe der Suite ist außergewöhnlich. Durch eigenen Innenhof und Terrasse findet man Ruhe und Entspannung. Frühstück ist okay, aber langweilig.

Die Suiten sind sehr renovierungsbedürftig, der Bereich Badezimmer ist eine echte Zumutung. Fugen vergammelt, Türen defekt, im Schlafbereich rieselt der Putz von der Wand, rostiger Safe, verdreckte Klimaanlage. Bademantel ausgefranst, Löcher in Laken. Das Abendessen ist nichts Besonderes, Qualität auf unterem Niveau. Die Hotelleitung zeigt kein Interesse an den Gästen, keine Begrüßung oder überhaupt eine Gruß. Hält sich anonym im Hotel auf. Upgrade auf HP ist in Verhältnis zur Leistung völlig überteuert.

I enjoy quiet but this may not be for everyone. No music blasting at you at the pool, no organised activities, no noticeable bar ( although drinks are served with dinner if you want them) all very civilised. This is our second visit which shows how much I like it, I very rarely return to previously visited hotels however much I enjoy my stay. The USP of this place is the layout, each room is totally stand alone, your own tiny villa. No adjoining walls and no corridors, you won’t hear a peep out of your fellow guests once you retire to your room. You also have a little completely private enclosed courtyard of your own with nice high walls. As Fuertoventura is typically windy this is blissful for basking in the sun and is supplied with padded sunbeds. My holiday Nirvana! WiFi is great and there’s an outdoor shower in your courtyard, I could spend a week just sunbathing. If you do venture out you will be rewarded by a few nice clean ( quiet) pools, very cold but typical of the canaries. A nice little heated indoor swimming pool, a spa and sauna, lovely on less sunny days. A very short walk to the beach if you are a beach person and a hyperdino or a spa for water etc. There’s an efficient fridge in your sitting room, a kettle and a sofa. Two big double beds in the bedroom, a long wardrobe with plenty of hangars and storage and a charming domed bathroom with a shower, bidet and big jacuzzi bath. The food is very nice! Huge choice at breakfast, an omelette bar, breads, fruits, cheeses, meats etc. surprisingly for Spain the omelette man also does excellent bacon! The evening meals are fabulous, a mix of buffet and sit down waiter service, always lots of choice and very nicely cooked. The Friday night dinner is a festive occasion with a grill and a Spanish guitarist, very pleasant. Reception are efficient and friendly. From where to hotel is situated it’s an easy ten minute walk to the bus stop to go to Morro Jable market on a Thursday, Morro Jable is a lot more bustling than Costa Calma. We had a great week at this quirky and charming place and may well be back for some winter sun!

Das Hotel ist sehr angenehm, die Einrichtung etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Aber sauber und dort wird die Privatsphäre ganz groß geschrieben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

The garden was amazing, the rest was a bit old and used.

As for the price we paid we think that everything was a bit overused, our jaccusi didnt work even though we change the room, the sauna worked onluy if you order and no one told us, the food at the breakfast was very bad quality, almoust no vegetables…

Endroit magique et super bien entretenu. Le personnel est incroyable, professionnel, serviable, de bonne humeur. La demi-pension était au-delà de nos espérances, la nourriture est de qualité, variée et en quantité sans obligation de prendre tout ce qui est proposé. Même si l’endroit n’est pas neuf, il est entretenu et fonctionnel. Rien n’est remplacé si ce n’est pas nécessaire ce qui est important dans ce monde de surconsommation et des exigences de plus en plus importantes des clients. Comme cet hôtel est entretenu régulièrement (ex: peintures), il paraît quasi neuf

Posizione: spiaggia e negozi raggiungili anche a piedi. Molte spiagge tra le più belle di Fuerteventura sono abbastanza vicine. Colazione: buona con anche piatti (tipo omelette e uova strapazzate preparate al momento). Ristorante: Idea carina di alternare il menù. un giorno menu fisso con antipasto, 2 primi (tra cui scegliere uno), 3 secondi (tra cui sceglierne uno) e dolce e un giorno Buffet libero. Camere molto grandi con salotto, camera da letto e bagno dotato di idromassaggio.

Purtroppo sembrava fossimo arrivati troppo presto, tipo in mezza stagione. Nella zona, ma anche in altre parti dell'isola, molti locali erano ancora chiusi e anche i servizi della struttura sembravano a mezzo servizio (tipo la piscina riscaldata con cromoterapia che non era attiva). 2 piscine un po' piccoline.

Ich bin das zweite Mal in diesem Hotel und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Es ist einfach die Ruhe die das Hotel ausstrahlt. Große Zimmer mit privater Terrasse. Gute Privatsphäre. Auch wenn das Hotel teilweise schon in die Jahre gekommen ist und einige Reparaturen notwendig wären, fühle ich mich sehr wohl. Sehr zuvorkommendes, nettes Personal. Die Zimmer sind immer tip top gereinigt. Das Essen sehr abwechslungsreich und kein "Sturm" auf das Buffet. Die Speisen immer frisch zubereitet. Eine sehr gepflegte Gartenanlage. Ich hatte einen Mietwagen, mit dem auch die anderen Regionen der Insel gut erreichbar waren.

Der Außenpool könnte 2 Grad wärmer sein :) Ansonsten gibt es für mich nichts auszusetzen.

A first time visit to the Canary Islands, looking for some much-needed winter sunshine. The weather has been very mixed and windy and cold, but it hasn't spoilt our mini break. The island is a fascinating, very clean place to visit with lovely people (locals and visitors alike). We enjoyed our beach trips and visits to the beach bars, plus a day trip to nearby beach resort south of Calma where there was a busy and stunning beach. The hotel is extremely unusual with it's futuristic design of 51 bungalow 'pods' it would make a fantastic location for the next Star Wars film. It is stuck in a 1990's time warp, complete with CD/cassette tape player, filer coffee machine jacuzzi bathroom adding to the ambiance. Proudly build in 1988 it was certainly a visionary resort in it's hey-day, but it has not evolved and it feels extremely dated both in what it looks like but how it is run. Whilst it is very private and relaxed there is very little atmosphere at the resort, quiet does not describe it, it feels like time has forgotten this little oasis. The gardens are unique and rather stunning, but all the facilities are a ghost of it's once-luxurious past. The spa, indoor and outdoor pools are deserted, the hot tubs all closed up, fountains not working and decorative pools left in disrepair. the tennis court has lost its roof and been deserted to rot. Jane Fonda wouldn't look out of place in the small gym and the reception bar with pool table was never occupied the entire time we were there, despite the hotel being at full capacity ? Sadly the website photos do not resemble the reality at all. The breakfast buffet was very nice and the evening set menus delicious and staff all very friendly and hard working. A unique and interesting holiday for us for sure 😃

Un lugar precioso, con jardines impresionantes, muy cuidados, y una arquitectura interesante. La habitación era muy amplia, con varios espacios separados (dormitorio, estudio, solárium, terraza…) y tenía unas vistas preciosas al mar.

Algunos detalles de la habitación denotan cierta decadencia, por ejemplo, se cae la pintura del techo, la tapa del inodoro es más pequeña de lo que correspondería y se ve la cerámica…

Old rooms, not quite see-view, seemed much bigger on pictures. Photos suggest hotel at the beach, but that’s not exactly the situation. Overall,not good value for the money.

Uns hat alles gefallen, insbesondere die herzigen und geräumigen Bungalows. Die Lage ist perfekt, der Strand ist nur fünf Minuten entfernt. Der Garten ist wunderschön gepflegt. Das Essen à la carte war sehr lecker und das Frühstück wirklich super. Die Pools waren nicht beheizt, dafür gab es zwei Saunas. Wir empfehlen dieses Hotel sehr.

It is super old, but brutal architecture from late 1970is, exceptional bathroom and location of accommodation.

It was super cold when we came, everything is old and nothing is working. So we got mobile heater to make thing good again. They say tennis court.. but that is ridicules.
