Lovely facilities and place was super clean and comfortable.

I emailed about cot and high chair twice and still had to call for it upon arrival but it was delivered immediately. Not much presence at reception and overall friendliness could be better. Wifi is not great.

The location was fantastic, just a short walk to Westgate beach. The hosts were very prompt when answering email queries. The apartment had plenty of space and good facilities for self catering.

Our parking space was occupied on 2 occasions while we had gone out. It would be good if you could place a sign or cone letting people know it was in use. The apartment was very warm which might have been more uncomfortable on a hotter week.

Excellent location, very spacious 3 bed apartment with sea view

The apartment was very close to the beach and the parking spot was worth its weight in gold, albeit a bit tight and tricky to get into. It was very clean and fully equipped so we didn’t really need to go out if we didn’t want to for food. There was a bar and other food vans and things close by if you didn’t want to cook and it was lovely to have the balcony to ourselves. The big window and doors were lovely too to open and get in fresh air during a very warm week. The sofa bed was very easy to use and perfect for our seven year old.

We didn’t see anyone at reception during the stay and quite a few rules but nothing that was overly problematic. The double door into the bathroom wasn’t great as one door being open stopped the other and a bit unnecessary but completely understand that some people might want access from the main apartment and bedroom if someone is sleeping on the sofa bed.

It was a bit gloomy with poor natural light and faced the car park on the ground level so privacy was difficult. The sofa bed was not made up for our stay and was uncomfortable. Wine glasses were tiny - we went and bought some and left them for future guests

Internetul.Viteza la internet foarte slabă sunt multe apartamente pe o singură conexiune, iar asta scade viteza de download(4-6 mega).

Loved the location and peaceful atmosphere. Good family vibes and living room is great for watching an evening movie.

The tv remote control’s batteries were about to fail. Hard to work as it was slow due to battery loss. They need to replace often. They don’t have a washing machine in the apartment, so unless you go to laundry room, lots of washing to do once you’re home

The location near watergate bay was exceptional, and it offered brilliant value for its price. Rooms were large and clean and could easily accommodate multiple people. Great kitchen for cooking.

Cell service around the area was practically non existent, and the WiFi although present was pretty dysfunctional. Make sure you have ample memory for getting to and from the city centre by car.

We arrived late and gaining entry wasn’t really easy. Luckily another guest helped us out.

We have just returned from a week at Beachcombers. To say that we were disappointed on our arrival would be an understatement. As ststed , the apartments are all individually styled, but the photographs on the site in no way represent our accommodation. We were allocated an apartment two days in advance of our arrival- no 32, which is accessed by 49 steep external steps, a combination of stone and open fire escape style which led to the apartment itself. There was absolutely no warning that some of the accommodation is completely inaccessible for some, and at best, a challenge for those with age and/or health related difficulties. I immediately rang the allocated telephone number and explained that our a accommodation was unsuitable due to the aforementioned issues, only to be told there was no available alternative due to the huge numbers heading to Cornwall because of the weather, the person then said , ' goodness knows why', stating that she hated the heat and why people were visiting was a mystery to her! This was reiterated at least three times, an entirely unhelpful conversation to say the least. With no available alternative, it was definitely a challenge to ascend the steps, let alone carry luggage and groceries. My husband badly scraped his toes and later strained his back carrying a heavy suitcase up the steps. This was exacerbated by the heat of course, however the apartment reached temperatures in excess of 34 degrees most days. There was no fan and proved absolutely stifling. The windows only had cheap vertical office style blinds which were noisy when we opened the windows to try and create some breeze. This was particularly challenging during the night. Temperature aside, the apartment was tired and very much in need of redecoration and a refresh. By contrast, my son and family for the same money, had a bright, airy apartment which was much cooler and more comfortable and spacious in every way.

Apartment was attractively finished, a good size, clean and well located, being a short walk from the beach.

As we had hot , sunny weather, some fans or air conditioning would have been appreciated. Other than that, no complaints.

We really struggled with the stairs getting everything up and down on arrival and leaving but only because we had a baby with us. We had to leave the pram down in the car. Could maybe do with a little update but nothing major. A fan in the apartment would have been amazing!

We love the location, being a short walk from the beach. Property is clean, furnished and well presented.

Right on the beach - 2 minute walk. We had a sea view apartment. The apartment was very big and pretty well stocked. Very responsive when we had questions.

The apartment was on the older side, with outdated blinds and cobwebs everywhere. You don’t get cleaning sponges provided just as an fyi. Make sure to bring your own extra cooking/cleaning supplies. It didn’t take away from the overall experience though.

Die Lage ist zum Strand ist perfekt. Das Apartment ist groß und hat den Vorteil, daß man am Nachmittag Schatten hat. Wir hatten das Apartment Nummer 3. Alles ebenerdig.

Leider hatten wir ein Problem mit dem warmen Wasser mit der Dusche. Es schaltet sich gelegentlich ab. Ein Monteur war zweimal zur Prüfung des Boilers da. Ich habe einen Tipp bekommen. Das warme Wasser an der Armatur laufen lassen. Dann klappt das.

Tolle Lage, perfekt für zwei Personen. Gute Größe.

Bei der Küchenausstattung wären größere Töpfe wünschenswert. Nudeln kochen für zwei Personen war schwierig. Ein scharfes Messer wäre auch schön gewesen.

The location of Beachcomber Apartments to Watergate Bay was excellent.

One of the kitchen sockets did not work but was quickly replaced. The fridge had not been cleaned and was missing a tray above the salad box which reduced space. One of the oven knobs had all its markings erased due to usage. The wifi strength was terrible, the TV picture kept pixelating which meant you could not really watch any programmes in the evening. One of the lights in the kitchen area did not work, it was reported but was not replaced during our stay.

We love the location, the view from the balcony, the feel of the apartment, it's decor, etc. We stayed here last year and were so happy to get the same place again.

The front door lock is really difficult to work and is kinda of stressful each time you come back

The location was great, walking distance from the beach and the flat was very comfortable.

The property was perfect for our needs.

The location is convenient, the staff is friendly and helpful, the beach is just 3 minutes away. And it's beautiful. I asked for the early check-in,and was contacted in th e morning on the day to let me know the room was ready for me much earlier. The nearby bar serves delicious food, which they cook very fast if you order takeaway. The shops and petrol stations are short drive from the apartment building, but please be mindful of the poor internet connection for GPS signal because of the location.

No lifts for my apartment on the 1st floor, and I had some security concerns as the doors to the apartment building were not closed sometimes during the day. The car park is a bit tricky to get out of, as it is small and the view is obstructed.

Easy check in after being given keylock code. The location is really excellent, nice sea view and great walks nearby on the very wide beach as the breakers roll in. The apartment was 4* as stated. Very happy with it. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Nothing to do with this lovely company, but there's a pub next door where a DJ occasionally sets up outside. Just peak season, though, for the surfers. If this would bother you, maybe ask to be at the back. But Beachcombers itself is 100% recommended!

This is the second year in a row we’ve stayed. We love it every time, I always feel like I’ve gone to Spain for the weekend. Watergate is such a gorgeous area, you’ve got a beach bar right next to you, amazing restaurants and the beach right at your feet. The views and the balcony’s really do make the place. One thing I would like to add if anyone who works here is reading this, we stayed in room 21 and there was a very friendly robin who would come to our balcony and sing. I would love if you put a bird feeder around! Walking up to those birds signing and sitting on the balcony with you really makes it.

Only one tiny thing, I couldn’t find a hair dryer anywhere? I’m not sure if it is there somewhere but I couldn’t find one.

It was amazing and I can't fault it really. One thing to feedback, was the apartment we were in was not fully separated in the balcony area with the high plants on the one side, as I could see in another balcony, which meant the fellow neighbours felt at times we were in the same space. But this is so minor and it was just fantastic besides that.

Great location, view, size of property and quiet.

A lot of bird poo on the balcony which unfortunately meant we couldn’t use it. It covered the floor, seating and table. We were only staying for 2 days but would have been a shame if we were there for longer to not have been able to use it.

Great apartment overlooking Watergate Bay, very well equipped and comfortable. Fabulous location for a relaxing break. Handy for local restaurants and a few minutes walk from one of the most fabulous beaches in Cornwall.

The parking spaces could do with being a bit wider, we have a medium estate that filled the space, a modern wide car would be difficult to park. The apartment is above the road, so can be quite busy/noisy if it’s warm and you have the windows open, especially on a Saturday night.

Beautiful location with a sea view, a very pleasant apartment. Well equipped, although a washing machine would be useful for longer stays, especially in summer. Comfortable beds. The location is perfect for relaxation – peaceful, yet close to attractions. A very enjoyable stay 😊

The apartment is generally pleasant and nicely designed, and the surroundings are enjoyable. However, I would suggest some improvements. The cleanliness could be better – there was dust on the furniture, both in the kitchen and the bedroom. It would also be helpful to add towel hangers in the bathrooms. I noticed that the windows and the balcony, especially the outdoor furniture, could be cleaned more thoroughly. It would be good to have more complete sets of dishes. During rainy weather, water collects on the balcony, which suggests that the drain may be blocked. Overall, despite these points, it is a nice place with a pleasant atmosphere.

I have bad knees and I wish it had been clearer that there were many flights of stairs to get to my lovely apartment. The apartment could have looked more modern with a paint job.

Apartments were very clean, beds very comfortable, staff were very friendly and helped with anything we needed for our stay, 2 minutes walk to a lovely beach and restaurants nearby were lovely and friendly staff, as a family with 3 children I would definitely recommended this location for holiday. The sea views.

The beds were uncomfortable, the pull out sofa bed was terrible. The under floor heating, couldn't be turned off. Despite not even having the heating on. The oven had all the symbols and temperature control missing. So it took a few tries to get the proper setting and right temperatures. The free wifi was pretty bad, A lot of the time your own mobile phone network had emergency phone calls only too. The main road traffic, was very loud.

Location, ease of access, easy parking. Apartment was a good size and layout.

The sofabed is extremely uncomfortable to sleep on (apartment 3). If this was swapped for a proper sofabed, then this apartment would be great for four people. As is, I would only recommend it for two people.

Had a wonderful stay at the apartment in Watergate Bay. The place is fully equipped, with a great kitchen that had everything I needed, plus a comfortable living room, dining area, TV, and fast internet. The apartment also has two bathrooms, which made everything even more convenient. The location is fantastic, with several restaurants nearby, making it easy to enjoy great food without going far. I made the most of the sunny days and even got to enjoy some surfing — it was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend

Perfect location - right in heart of Watergate Bay

The location itself was truly above and beyond expectations.

The truly horrible and patronising manager offered no help with my luggage or finding my accommodation upon arrival despite knowing i was fleeing a high risk sitiation!. She falsely accused me of smoking cannqbis upon arrival and despite my protestion of innocence and continued to berate me despire my very vulnerable state. I later found out it was gentlemen in accommodation opposite smoking cannabis!. Tbe manager would furthermore side eye and patronize me whenever she saw me!. This experience has detrimented my already very fragile mental health further. Furthermore £1000 was taken from my elderly mothers accpunt because of staining to bright white towels and bedding!and a wine mark on sofa!!!! Pure heartless GREED at its finest

Clean, safe and had everything you would need for a break away!

Only 1 car parking space

The lock box made entry very easy. The apartment was nicely decorated and very clean. Special thanks to the cleaners! It was easy to get the apartment to a comfortable temperature.

Maybe better signal so you could watch live TV. We could watch “live” on the catch up channels which was okay but a bit of a faff signing in. This is only a minor niggle!

Lovely big balcony and although its a small thing, having a wee Christmas tree, tinsel and some local festive welcome gifts made a huge difference to the welcome and festive feel on arrival and during the stay which was over Christmas. The apartment was spacious, comfy beds and how lovely to have an additional en suite toilet and sink. The underfloor heating was lovely on arrival and you couldn't hear a sound from anywhere else. The shower was great, again, spacious and powerful and the beds were very comfortable.

The tiniest of things, nit picking really - the temperature dials had worn off the cooker.
