La ubicación es fantástica, a 800 mts apenas salís del Ferry , mi habitación tenía balcón y vista al puerto, y tienen un restaurante magnífico. Muy buena atención

Lovely harbour views

We had a wonderful time in Picton, the hotel was clean and handy to the harbour, loved the view!! We will definitely come and stay again

Nothing it was a great place to stay

The facilities and restaurant are fantastic, great location and enjoyed the view from my room.

My experience with the two reception staff were polar opposite. On check-in ( evening ) I found the staff member not that engaging or welcoming while in the morning reception had a smile on her face and was very happy to help.

The view was great, and the shower pressure was amazing.

The bed was very firm I personally found it uncomfortable.

Clean, comfortable, no fuss. Run well by a great team.

House keeping need to wait until people have checked out before barging in. Kitchen could be be a bit better kitted out but generally ok

It is a sentimental trip for my family and I, to stay in Picton, and the Beachcomber is part of that. Lovely old hotel, with great staff, and a great restaurant.

Loved the location. The bed was comfy. The room was spacious and clean.

The shower was very pressurized okay for aches and pains I guess.

The light in the room was miserable, too dull for me. switch to LED lamps and increase the wattage so older eyes can see better.

Não tem café da manhã, e não há traslado incluído ou parte (com preços acessíveis) para o porto, que fica a 600 m do hotel. O hotel poderia disponibilizar um serviço de parceria com taxi ou van por preços amigáveis. Tive que pagar NZ$ 40 para ir do hotel ao porto (paguei bem menos que isso do aeroporto de Auckland ao CBD de Auckland), com minha família e todas as malas. Uns NZ$ 15, no máximo, ficaria excelente para o taxista.

The Beachcomber is walking distance to all restaurants and retail beautiful veiw of the port. Rooms clean and tidy and very comfortable and the staff were very accommodating even when the ferry was cancelled and had to stay another night. Would definitely stay there again

Booking.com allows payment at check in but check in is limited to certain times not stated on B.cm site. While we were able to adjust our travel to meet check in availability, the communication from the venue was offputting. We immediately recieved a curt email stating if I didnt pay first we would not have access to the room, so payment was made a day or so later. However, despite sending proof of purchase to the venue ( screen shot of B.cm payment), with a followup phone call, we were told there was no proof of purchase on their system so no access would be given. I had sent proof of payment!!!! The next day we recieved an email saying payment was recieved and this gave us access instructions if we missed check in. Is this an issue between B.cm and provider systems perhaps? Whatever, this was very messy, potentially stressfull and communication could generously be described as rude. When checking in, a formal matter of fact instruction on access, parking, and dining. No smile. I then cancelled our return booking at the same place and booked elsewhere * returning by ferry after check in closure. Again the room was great. Booking.com were contacted during the process but their response was delayed by several days. Had the booking been on short lead time this could have left guests with a paid for room and no access to it.

Great customer service. We had a late check in from the ferry. Very accommodating. Fantastic room with electric blankets. Close to restaurants. Second time we have stayed here and will continue to whenever we are in Picton.

There were really strong winds and the window made a very high pitched whistle all evening making it impossible to sleep. The ferry was cancelled so I needed to extend for an additional night. The second room I stayed in had several light globes not working so the room was dimly lit.

Great location and lovely and clean room !!

Location was right on the waterfront and our view from our room could not be beaten. Room was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. Restaurant on site was fabulous, and the meals were excellent along with the service from the young but very friendly staff. Parking on site is limited but receptionist gave us very clear instructions where to park and why. Bed super comfy along with pillows.

Loved the spa bath but having the shower over the spa bath was not the greatest. Toilet was stuck in a weird place and the whole flow and layout of the bathroom just seemed old fashioned and wrong. Could do with an upgrade.

Room, location, staff - all were fabulous.

The company could consider changing its settings on this site as I booked it with the option to pay at the property. But then the poor staff had to communicate back and forward with me - while I was travelling so it was inconvenient - about my arrival time and needing to pay before I arrived as the office may be closed. Minor in the scope of things, but more efficient for everyone.

This is our second time staying and it didn't disappoint us.Great place to stay with great location. Warm,clean and cosy.Comfy bed.Good size and a place to put your luggage.Didnt see the staff as we arrived late off the Ferry,but the key was put on the reception door and room was easy to find.Would stay again.
