Reservamos apartamento con ascensor y aire acondicionado en todas las habitaciones. Cuando llegamos el apartamento no tenia ascensor ni funcionaba el aire acondicionado del salón. La persona que nos atendió no dio ninguna solución al problema. Ademas, las cañerías del baño principal olían mal. Es el motivo de mi baja puntuación

The location was great, except there aren’t a lot of walkable options to get food/needs (that’s not the resort’s fault, but you definitely need a vehicle if you don’t arrive equipped with everything you may need). The room was amazing. As soon as we walked in we wished we had booked a longer stay. The size and the style and the cleanliness of our room was really incredible. The jacuzzi and outdoor space was an unexpected but very appreciated bonus. The proximity to the beach and the beach itself was wonderful-very pristine and peaceful beach. The staff at reception (who was pretty much the only staff we interacted with) was very friendly and welcoming and accommodating. I had a few conversations via WhatsApp with staff and they were helpful and responsive in a timely manner.

During our stay there was no power for about 6 hrs on the day we were checking out. It was obviously inconvenient because we couldn’t shower or flush toilets and had no electricity before leaving. We were in a verge large group occupying several rooms and many people were not able to turn their stoves on, which left them scrambling for matches. Several appliances in several rooms were not working. In our room it was the dishwasher, in my parents’ room it was the coffeemaker, in my cousin’s room it was the outdoor grill, etc etc. This wasn’t a big deal for us because we were only staying 3 days, but I feel like people go there to stay for more time and then these issues might have had more of a negative effect. We ordered breakfast one morning and I was very specific that we had an excursion and it had to be there by a certain time or we wouldn’t be able to have it and it hadn’t shown up by the time we left. When I messaged to tell them to cancel it they said it was too late and it would be delivered to someone else in our group. We did end up getting charged for it but the front desk got rid of the charge once I explained what happened. Others in our group had also ordered breakfast and across the board about 80% said it was delivered way later than the specified time.

Cortes de luz a diario pero no muy prolongados (cosa que no tiene que ver con Balcones del Atlántico sino con la red de Samaná). Pero, al cortase la luz te quedas sin agua, que eso sí debería mejorar el complejo para que una cosa no derive en la otra.

The staff was very professional and friendly. They were very responsive. The apartments were nice, liked the lay out.

The apartment felt dirty. They didn't do a good job of cleaning it before we got in. Everything in the apartment felt outdated and very used. The microwave wasn't working and we couldn't shut off the A/C. Our bedroom got very cold at night.

La localización

El lavamanos de la entrada de la habitación no funcionaba, tenía una fuga en la tubería, y el lavamanos del baño de la habitación principal no salía agua, osea que para lavarse los dientes se tenía que hacer en el baño donde el lavamanos tenía fugas de agua y uno se mojaba los pies

Me gustó muchísimo el tamaño del apartamento, era amplísimo ; habitaciones muy bien equipadas y grandes con baños estupendos, una terraza-porche privada, preciosa. La urbanización muy bien cuidada y con un acceso directo a la playa. También me encantó el chiringuito de la playa que pertenece al Hotel. Es el mejor de la zona.

La cocina tenía un cierto olor, y algunas cosas aparentaban algo oxidadas , por ejemplo, la grifería y partes de la nevera. El Apartamento era un bajo y resultaba algo oscuro.

Las instalaciones del Residencial hermosas. El apartamento bastante cómodo y con lo indispensable para pasar una buena estadía. La playa sencillamente hermosa, asi como la seguridad tanto del Residencial como el que hay en la playa.

El desayuno incluido, no deberia ofrecerse. Los ban̈os requieren mantenimiento y mayor limpieza. El personak de recepcion bastante amable, a excepcion de el que nos registro que fue algo antipatico.

Apartamentos bonitos, pero muy mal cuidados, mal el mantenimiento, y limpieza del primer apartamento, nos cambiamos a otro y mas limpio pero igualmente, mal mantenimiento.

La confortabilidad de las instalaciones, junto a la playa, y el mejor restaurante de las terrenas. Con unos jardines impresionantes.

Casa muy acojedora, muy cercano al mar, restaurante cercano & delicioso. Excelente picussi, muy fresco, ambiente muy familiar y con excelentes acomodaciones. Regresaria de inmediato.

this was a last-minute decision, the property was very nice, my family was very happy with the room. the private patio and pool/jacuzzi were excellent. Liliana was great bringing us the breakfast that we had ordered during our stay. kirssy was very polite great at check in and check out very informative about the area. responded quickly to my questions. and always followed up. and was extremely helpful. looking forward to our next stay.

Un paraíso en las terrenas.

Es war einfach toll, schöne Zimmer, super Lage, toller Strand und ein Restaurant mit toller Küche gleich davor. In der Anlage war es sehr ruhig und entspannt. Hier kann man einen erholsamen Urlaub verbringen.

Property limit and force restrictions on the usage of air conditioning in to the unit for saving money on energy, incredible for a beach destination in the middle of the Caribbean region.

We went for my birthday and everything was excellent!! The service, the beach and the amenities were perfect!!

Hotel needs more maintenance

The only time we saw or worked with any staff was upon check in at the reception desk and when trying to check in our representative started to help guests who arrived after us. We tried to be patient but had driven several hours and had a new infant with us. The check in process was slow, unorganized, unpleasant and subpar. I would not recommend this property. There are plenty of better villas with better service and amenities.

Close to the beach, beautiful vegetation and quiet location. Unfortunately I was not able to sleep. The air conditioning was set so cold and there were no blankets. Additionally there was no access to internet.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable with multiple balconies and a private hot tub. It was perfect for our family.

The three bedroom patio suite was stunning to walk into. On the whole it was a good stay. Just a few things that needed to be corrected for future guests. The dishwasher did not work and had stagnant smelly water in it and the smell tended to permeate the suite. The air conditioners only worked in two of the bedrooms, and the stove did not work. It was such a nice place we worked around it all. It was perfectly located, about a 5 min walk to The Mosquito restaurant.

Apartment location is great and we loved the restaurant across the street. But the apt was dated with a musty smell. The balcony is big and a great place to spend your time. Inside, the lighting was terrible and the linens and towels needed a refresh. Don’t expect cleaning or extra tp or any basics like dish soap… it was a basic Airbnb experience.

In the apartment 721 the oven didn’t function, the same problem in 2A1 ; also in both apartments we had problems with the refrigerator, luckily no food was spoiled but we couldn’t cook properly because of the oven problem. Also we received no answer about our complaints… lifting the shoulders it’s not a proper answer… it’s not a cheap property so we aspected different problems solving solutions.

The property is well maintained. Our apartment was clean and decent.

At check-in, we were not told the living room space in our apartment didn’t not have an active AC unit working. Instead, after visiting reception yet again, they instructed us to leave all the bedroom doors open to cool down the common space. Within a few hours, the apartment did cool down. Better communication at check-in is appreciated in order to set the correct expectations.

It is in the perfect location, just outside of Las Terrenas. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful, but close to dining and shopping.

there were a number of issues in our unit… the dishwasher and clothes washer did not work, the balcony doors did not lock, there were no screens on the windows and doors so if we opened them to get fresh air, mosquitoes came in! The lighting in the unit was super dim everywhere! no reasonable place to put in makeup/get ready to go out.

The apartaments are lovely. We stayed at a 2-bedroom and it was HUGE. Very big balcony and spacious living/dining areas. It has everything you need and the lovely beach is a stone’s throw away. The staff offer an inmaculate service and were very flexible with our requests. From there we drove short distances to Playa Bonita and Playa Ballenas which are both lovely. It was a surprisingly nice complex and well maintained.

Restaurant on the beach and beach itself was the most enjoyable.

Apartments needs maintenance. From the first look you can see its not used a lot. Kitchen pots are all with big scratches. Should be all replaced. Fan in one room had noise and air condition of external unit had also metal noise. The unit is close to bedroom. Luckily we did not need air conditioning a lot, but in summer this could be annoying. They tried to fix it but we left before the did. Otherwise the responds was fast.

We drove past the property seven years ago and it caught our eye. We stayed this time. Very nicely decorated inside. Beds and linens were great. Check in was very easy. The overall property is older and overgrown, but it works. The kitchen pots, pans and cooking utensils are a worn out. But we successfully prepared meals nonetheless. The restaurant on the beach is a real upscale treat. Good choices. Excel service and they served the food very fast. We will definitely return to this property.
