Property and facilities are good. Neighborhood of Pringle Bay is amazing, friendly people and quite safe to walk around the area. Breakfasts were really good, nice variety of cold food and a limited but excellent hot menu freshly prepared.

Villa Marine is in a stunning location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was exceptional. Right on the sea front. The rooms were beautiful. We booked the residence and a few other rooms and were impressed with all the facilities. Pringle bay is a lovely town with friendly people.

The wifi was non-existant. There was NO hot water the night of our stay - and this was around 21:00 when we wanted to take a bath, and then NO hot water the morning when we wanted to take a shower. Not good enough for the price you pay

Superb location with fabulous sea views. The breakfast selection is excellent with good variety and friendly and attentive staff. Our room was large and clean with a balcony, tea and coffee making facilities and a bright and big bathroom

We were given a different room to the one we had originally booked due to a leak. The room we were given was fine but it would have been good to know this before we arrived.

Geniale Lage nur wenige Meter vom Meer entfernt, sehr freundlich und der Ort ist ruhig und schön mit sehr guten Restaurants. Hier kann man es gut länger aushalten. Tolles Frühstück

In Südafrika gibt es nur selten Heizungen in den Häusern und als wir da waren Ende April war es schon recht kühl, so dass wir auch im Haus warme Kleidung brauchten

The room, place and location were absolutely stunning. Easy check in, honesty bar for soft drinks, beer and wine, beautiful lounge and pool. Delicious breakfeast.

Everything was perfect. I would only add trap mat for sandy shoes (as the place is almost right on the beach, and even though it's rocky, there is a sandy road and path).

Die Villa liegt direkt am Meer in einem ruhigen süßen kleinen Örtchen. Die Besitzerin ist selbst vor Ort und hilft bei allen Anliegen weiter. Es ist ein hervorragendes Ziel um Abzuschalten und die Seele baumeln zu lassen.

Die Lage war wirklich nicht zu übertreffen. Wir haben sehr viel Zeit auf dem Zimmer verbracht und einfach nur aus dem Fenster geschaut. Ich denke, dass war eine der besten Aussichten, die ich je in der Natur hatte. Wir hatten allerdings Glück und es gabe einen verfrühten Sardine run und wir konnten Robben, Wale, Wasservögel und sogar Delphine beobachten. Dank des hauseigenen Fernglases war das ein Spektakel der besonderen Art! Die Zimmer waren tiptop und es gab die Möglichkeit Wein und Co aus dem Kühlschrank zu erwerben. Mikrowelle, Toaster und Herd hätte man auch nutzen können und gefiltertes Wasser gab es umsonst. Der Kühlrschrank auf dem Zimmer war auch gold wert. Nicht zu vergessen, das Frühstück. Neben dem Buffet, konnte man warme Gerichte wie Frenchtoast, Egg Benedict, English Breakfast oder klassisches Rühreis auf Toast bestellen. Es steckt wirklich viel Liebe im Detail und man fühlt sich von der 1. Sekunde an pudelwohl. Hanna hat uns viele gute Tipps gegeben und war immer da, wenn man sie gebraucht hat. Wenn ich jemals wieder nach SA komme, würde ich SOFORT wieder dort hin. Auf meiner Hotel Skala in meinem Leben (es waren viele) auf jeden Fall auf der Liste der besten 5!!!

Stuff are warm and lovely, the view is breathtaking. Very nice room with jacuzzi. Would defenitly visit again.

Important to note that there are fans instead of aircon, but they were enough in adition to the ocean breeze. No complaints.

Amazing place right by the ocean. Unfortunately, we were only there for a couple of hours, so we didn’t really get the chance to enjoy the terrace and pool, which both looked lovely. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a great variety of options as well as hot dishes you could order. We also really appreciated the thoughtful gesture from the lady at reception, who had already pre-booked a restaurant for us in case we couldn’t find a place to eat. In fact, it turned out to be very helpful since we hadn’t thought of making a reservation ourselves.

The position is exceptional with the rooms overlooking the sea lapping onto the rocky shore below. The staff were great and breakfast was good.

The building could do with a bit of maintenance but that didn't detract from our pleasant stay.

Leider gab es eine Baustelle nebenan, die tagsüber sehr laut war.

Rate Villa Marine Guest House is a true coastal gem. The location is exceptional, with breathtaking views that instantly set the tone for a relaxing stay. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was absolutely amazing – fresh, generous, and beautifully prepared, easily a highlight of the stay. The honesty bar and readily available snacks were a thoughtful touch, adding to the overall comfort and ease, and the WiFi and TV options were reliable and easy to use.

There is some room for improvement, particularly with additional fans or air-conditioning for warmer days, and the pool could benefit from more regular cleaning. That said, these are minor points in what was otherwise a wonderful and memorable stay. We would happily return and recommend it to anyone looking for a scenic, well-run guest house with excellent hospitality.

Was soll man hier noch sagen außer GROSSARTIG! Die Herzlichkeit der Eigentümerin springt einen direkt an. Ein wunderschönes modernes Haus direkt am Meer. Die Sterne aus dem Jacuzzi beobachten war sensationell.

We could have stayed (and wish we could) much longer

This is our fourth stay at Villa Marine and we were upgraded to The Residence as the property was full. The views from the lounge are are stunning. For a family it would be an excellent choice. For the two of us it was slightly overwhelming. The view from the bedroom was amazing. The house if beautiful and the breakfast has lots of choices.

Nothing to complain about Well…the parking is a bit tight but apparently that’s coming to be altered to make it a bit easier.

Beautiful sea views, friendly and attentive staff that made us feel at home. The honesty bar was a great feature, especially since the place was so nice that you didn't want to leave ;) we ordered takeout and had dinner enjoying the sunset views. Breakfast was really nice!

It would have been nice to have some cushions for the balcony chairs.

de locatie is erg mooi aan de kust, je hebt vanaf overal zicht op zee. Het ontbijt is helemaal top. Je kan eigen gerechten bestellen en er is ook een buffet want er wordt en fruit en sap.

we vonden de kamer erg warm. Er is geen airco en geen ventilator. Er is alleen een hele kleine vloer ventilator,Het raam kan je wel openzetten, maar de zee en de golfslag maakt erg veel lawaai.

Wir wurden sehr warm empfangen. Das Guesthouse ist klein, familiär und ruhig. Sehr schön an den Klippen gelegen, schön und liebevoll eingerichtet, wir fühlten uns sehr wohl.
