Reviewed Aug 31, 2026From Booking, to arrival, the amazing host Gaenor had everything laid out for us and was more than willing to help us along the way. getting in to the property was easy, straight forward and as explained. First impressions of the space were immaculate, what a beautiful, cozy, cleanly spot, my Partner and I cannot wait to stay here again. very close to the centre of town where there are some great spots for dinner. and beautiful hikes basically from the front door, the beach is also less than a 2min walk from the front door. If you are intending to go up the East Coast I highly recommend this as a longer stay spot.
If I were to complain about anything the only thing I could mention would be the drive way it was a bit steep off the curb for my Hyundai i20 but it really is immaterial if you just come in to the driveway at an angle. Vehicles with slightly higher clearance will have no issues what so ever.

Reviewed Jan 14, 2026The location was fabulous with easy proximity to the beach. The place is well appointed and very attractive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
It would help to give the main house number along with the other location information, especially as the link provided took us far from the property on Susan Road. As well, we couldn't contact the host when we couldn't find the property at first because a digit was missing from the number provided in the booking instructions.

Reviewed Dec 20, 2025We loved the room so neat and clean. The outdoor shower and bath was amazing every night to be outside in the nude so refreshing.
We were a walk away from the beach also nice and everything so peace and quiet.
The baboons, but we never saw them.

Reviewed Mar 17, 2025We loved the fact that we were a world away from the hustle and bustle. Our room was of the finest standard and our hosts were fantastic. All facilities we required were available to us. Small walk to the beach and lovely little town to walk around and feel safe at the same time.

Reviewed Feb 20, 2025Centrally located to beach, restaurants and shops. Everything was just perfect and the Gaenor and David are wonderful hosts. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return soon.
The Annexe is situated very close to the restaurants in Pringle Bay so easy and safe to walk.
Good value and everything you need if you want to self cater.
The room was hot at night. So a fan would have been useful.
The small outside seating area is in full sun all day. An umbrella would have been nice as it was too hot to sit outside.

We arrived on Sunday afternoon and most the restaurants and shops in the area are closed except for the Burger Bar, which was OK.

Reviewed May 23, 2023As a regular visitor to Pringle Bay, I've stayed at many rentals, but the Annex truly embraced me in all the right ways. The outdoor bath is heavenly with a field of fynbos to keep you company, and the incredibly spacious interiors are so cleverly laid out that it's like having your own house. Details like a strong shower head, gas heating, ample lighting options to counter loadshedding and a light-filled bedroom (complete with the sounds of waves at night) are just some of the many perks. I'll be back in a flash.

Reviewed Apr 19, 2023Just what we needed for a quick and comfy overnight stay. Very quiet even when the wind was blowing gales outside. Close to the beach. Everything one needs in the kitchen and loved the little rechargeable gooseneck lamps. Didn’t try the outdoor bath but that could be fun and relaxing.

Cozy but still very spacious and airy accommodation.
Comfortable bed, great shower, well equipped kitchen.
Peaceful and quiet only a few minutes walk from beach.
