Bathroom a little small.

Reviewed Sep 17, 2026The owner was super friendly, the room was big, very clean. Close to lake, and not much traffic noise. Much better than most motels in the area that are right on the highway.
We travel a lot, and comfortable beds are very important to me. The bed was fine, but the sheets were scratchy and the pillows flat. Our neighbors were in and out of their room a lot overnight, so strangely loud.

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026Our suite was amazing! Bedroom separated from living/kitchen by french doors. Great shower with good pressure and lots of hot water. Nice size bathroom. If travelling with kids there was a playground area that even had a trampoline and for the older ones a basketball net and ball. Views of the sunset on Lake Nippissing about 300 meters down the road. Excellent restaurants within walking distance. Everything was spotless and very welcoming. Quiet! Had a great sleep! Loved the convenience of being able to pull up to our door and use the car as a giant suitcase! We would definitely stay again!
The kitchen could have been better equipped but the necessities for two people were there and as a plus the fridge was stocked with ice cubes!

What could have been better is more pillows as some people like sleeping with 2 lol..the mattresses a little softer as they hurt the back but otherwise everything is amazing!!

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026Vim greeted me upon checkin and was very friendly. I arrived a little early before the posted checkin time. He accommodated me in this as a room was ready. He was very helpful with all questions I had. The room was spotless, the bed very comfy, the kitchenette had all the basics you could need for such a short stay, and the towels were fluffy and luxurious. I will definitely stay again on my next visit in North Bay. A five+ star stay.

Reviewed Dec 30, 2025We are repeat customers at Lakeshore Suites. This little motel is always consistent in every way. Conviently located with tons of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Park at the door, always clean, beds and pillows are exceptionally comfy and each room we've stayed in always has a kitchenette equipped with all the basics. The owner is always friendly and I always leave feeling like I've had great value for the money I spent.
If I had to choose something I didn't like, it would be that there was no plug or stopper for the bathtub.

Reviewed Nov 24, 2025Walk-in shower with no barriers was great 4 days post surgery! Parking right outside the room door was convenient to bring in our overnight bags. Heat easy to adjust. Tea kettle was handy. Kitchen sink with dish cloths, a few dishes, mugs and glasses in the cupboard. A/C and fan provided if needed. The beds were comfortable. Lighting was great both inside and out. Close to restaurants. Easy to find. Quick check-in, receipt given therefore just leave hassle free at checkout time. Friendly, courteous service.
We could've used a second chair to sit on, but that was a minor detail given all the other benefits.
