There was no elevator or assistance with luggage. The beds were horrible, and we were unable to sleep. It took a long time for the air conditioner to kick in. The room smelled of stale smoke despite being billed as a non smoking room. The tv remote was dirty and sticky and the light switches were filthy

Carpet flooring was covered with dog hair and there was a wet spot what we think was dog pee. They did clean it for us but the carpet was dusty and pennies found at the corners tells you that it was vacuumed or cleaned at all. We found it very disturbing and were waiting for the next morning to checkout.

The facility was good; however, the bathroom door was tight and was difficult to close. This hotel is expensive compare to other nearby hotels. As we were seniors, the receptionist did not provide us with a room on the ground floor, even after my request. We both have knee problems, and there is no elevator in the hotel, which is unacceptable. We got the room after a 10- 15-minute stay in the reception area as the room was not ready.

Reviewed Jun 28, 2026We stay here ever time we visit Northday the value is good and the facility is decent. Its close to the beach walking distance. We will always choose this hotel when we are visiting Northbay.
We definitely did NOT appreciate housekeeping banging on our door at 9 am saying " housekeeping" my husband had to go in on a night shifts and he wanted to sleep right up until we checked out unfortunately that did not happen because of the banging on the door. I understand them wanting to start the rooms early if they can but people have lives that stay there.

Needs a paint job or replacement ASAP. Air conditioner was older and didn't cool place off very well. Mirror on bathroom door had big splotches on it. Looked rundown.
