The tea and coffee weren't top up we had three people in our room and stayed 2 nights

The location is perfect and the owner gave us an option of rooms which is always nice.

We liked it all just time for a little upgrade/paint. We have stayed a few time now and just don’t understand if the rooms accolade three people why on earth is there never three hooks to hang towels in a bathroom. A very cheap easy fix.

Spacious, nice big shower. Kids were upstairs so had their own space

Sound travels so you could hear people coming back to their rooms late at night but once I was asleep it was fine. Its a very tight squeeze if you're trying to shut the toilet door so we just left that open and closed the main bathroom door instead

Warm and helpful welcome. Real milk provided. Larger than expected apartment. Warm and sunny. Comfortable beds. Hot shower and great water pressure. Kitchen, dining, lounge and balcony space to enjoy. Later checkout so we could have a slow start.

Residual cooking smells quickly removed by opening windows to air.

Very close to the beach, clean, well stocked, enough beds for a family, lovely staff.

This was a fabulous place to stay - clean, tidy, it provided everything we needed, and the Host was very kind - even asked if I needed help with luggage or anything else. Top hospitality!

The staff are always super friendly, twice ive been there and had to check in early and both times they had made sure the rooms were ready. Outstanding service. We will be staying there everytime we go to Kapiti, which is a few times a year.

Needed more blankets (we did use the spare one) - yes we could have asked but we ended up just using the heat pump. There seems to be no fan in the bathroom so when you open the door all the steam fills the room so then it gets damp. Yes the window was open but does not do the job.

Paper thin walls that were so loud at midnight! The noise of the fridge, the taps next door, even the microwave next door! You could hear everything! Beds were ok but pillows not great!

Very friendly check in. Room was sunny and warm. Fresh towels daily and helpful cleaning staff. Very handy to the beach with views of Kapiti Island.

Bathroom smelt like faeces every time we walked in. still had pistachio shells behind the chairs from the last guest. Under the beds need a good vacuum should be done after every guest.

Room was a good size and comfortable after a long drive. Motel is close to shops and the beach so no need to get back into the car.

Room is very dated. Shower over the bath would inly suit some people. It was clean but some areas around the bath need repairing

We had to catch an early ferry and the location was perfect for this and for access to the shops and restaurants

No soundproofing. The people in the room above us were ‘very active’ during the night and woke us at 4am with their activities. It sounded very aerobic!

I booked mostly for the location, but the motel was really good. The owner was super helpful and friendly. I booked for access to the golf course, but it's close to the beach and shops also.
