Très cher pour la qualité de la chambre qui est très petite sans balcon avec un mini frigo qui ne fait pas beaucoup de froid. Il est quasiment impossible de décharger les bagages devant l’hôtel et pas de parking. Solution parking très très éloigné et cher. Dommage ! Besoin de rénovation

Able to change room in middle of night when next door room too noisy and given a much nicer room for second night. We really appreciated the fact that we were able to move room quickly when we needed to. Overall a positive experience.
Initial room not very large and tired looking. Walls paper thin, able to hear tv in next door room even when turned down. Overall feeling is of faded elegance.

Non c’erano opzioni vegane per la colazione, nonostante io l’avessi comunicato una settimana prima del mio arrivo. In camera una lampadina era rotta e ci hanno sbagliato le asciugamani, dandoci un tappetino a testa invece dell’asciugamano per le mani

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026La camera al secondo piano era sufficientemente spaziosa, con ben due finestre e il bagno completo di bidet, con finestra. Ma soprattutto la camera aveva una vista meravigliosa sul mare. Al mattino si poteva vedere sorgere il sole e la sera la luna. Letto e cuscini molto comodi. Ho apprezzato molto la colazione, che si svolge in un ampio salone e una terrazza con vista lungomare. L'albergo si trova in un'ottima posizione, a due passi della fermata degli autobus. Staff molto gentile e disponibile.

Good choice of good at breakfast. Very relaxed, old fashioned slower pace of life feel to hotel. Staff helpful and friendly. Lovely thick, big bath towels and nice toiletries and slippers provided.
Shower cubicle and shower itself a bit basic. Worked fine and plenty of hot water, but could be updated. Bathroom itself spacious and lovely marble decor. Hairdryer could be improved and updated.

Avevo chiesto prodotti senza latte e glutine e c'era persino una torta fatta in casa che rispondeva ai requisiti Inoltre abbiamo chiesto informazioni al personale in merito ad una spiaggia bella da visitare e ci sono state date indicazioni per la spiaggia di Palmaria, con info relative a traghetto ecc... ottima scelta, spiaggia tranquilla, mare stupendo e solo qualche minuto di traghetto. Ci siamo trovate davvero bene

Reviewed Jun 22, 2026Posizione eccellente, perfetta sia per visitare Portovenere che per raggiungere comodamente la spiaggia. Noi siamo andati alla Spiaggia dell'Olivo, raggiungibile con una piacevole passeggiata di circa 10 minuti sul lungomare. L'approdo dei traghetti da e per le Cinque Terre è vicinissimo alla struttura, un grande vantaggio per gli spostamenti. Il personale è stato sempre disponibile e gentile. La vista dalla terrazza dove viene servita la colazione è spettacolare: abbiamo anche gustato un prosecco prima di cena e l'atmosfera era davvero piacevole. La struttura è molto bella e conserva il fascino delle eleganti dimore dei primi del '900. La camera era piccola ma impeccabilmente pulita; per una notte è stata assolutamente perfetta.
Se proprio dovessi trovare un piccolo punto migliorabile, direi la mancanza di un parcheggio privato. Noi siamo arrivati in battello, quindi non abbiamo avuto alcun problema, ma per chi raggiunge Portovenere in auto potrebbe rappresentare una difficoltà, soprattutto nei periodi più affollati. Va però detto che il personale si era mostrato molto disponibile ad aiutarci e a fornirci indicazioni nel caso fossimo arrivati in macchina, un'attenzione che abbiamo particolarmente apprezzato.

Helpful and knowledgeable staff. 2 minutes walk from main town and bars / restaurants. Bus stop across the road and ferry access (for Cinque Terre) around the corner. 5 minutes walk to beaches. Castle nearby well worth 5 euros to visit.

Reviewed May 11, 2026The staff was outstanding. I mean really... just so kind, courteous and attentive, offering up suggestions for hiking, transport and local things to see and do. Breakfast was excellent including scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, yogurts, fresh fruits and more baked goods then you can count. We were fueled up for our day thanks to this all encompassing breakfast. Oh, and the view from our room! Wow! We had a corner room upstairs that showed and expansive view of the comings and goings of the boats and ships in the harbor. The Hotels location is prime as well. It is just a short walk from the main harbor port of Portovenere. All the busy tourism is close enough to be fun but just far enough way to remain quiet and calm. Plus, if you walk from the hotel in the opposite direction there is an entire different area to explore with it's own shopping and eateries including a great (I believe free!) beach. Everything was terrific... well, almost everything. Too bad the room was let down by 2 things...
A room with a view like this should be honored with a interior decor and comfort to match. Instead it looked and felt like a Texas motel room. Honestly, for a country so steeped in pride of design and beauty, how this room exists in this state left me utterly dumbfounded. This room has two expansive windows looking out onto one of the most beautiful places in Europe. It makes you want to just sit there with a warm cup of coffee and take in the beauty before you. Unfortunately, the seating provided is so terrible all you really can do with it is place a backpack on it or hang you jacket on the back of it because you certainly can't sit there for long. It's a physically terrible place to sit. Hard uncomfortable chairs are NOT what a guest at a hotel wants. It almost makes you angry because you know you are in this incredibly special place and yet you can't take advantage of it. All you really can do is just stand there or lay on the bed and look out the window because you certainly can't sit in a chair you can only assume they found at a local garage sale. The good thing about the sub-par decor and uncomfortable seating is that it forces you to get out of your hotel room and go explore the Cinque Terra. But honestly, this place is just some new flooring, paint and furniture away from being a STUNNING hotel in a location I would return to yearly.

Le camere sono spaziose e alcune hanno una bellissima vista sul Golfo di La Spezia. Il personale é gentilissimo e diposnibile, anche a fornire ottime indicazioni per il soggiorno. La colazione é spettacolare con tutto quello che si può desiderare in un salone con vista lago bellissimo. Ottimo punto per esplorare la regione.
