The rooms were simple but very clean and comfortable and we loved being able to sit in the pretty garden for breakfast with delicious homemade cake or just to relax and enjoy the view. The town centre is 5 minutes walk down the steps in the garden and everything is nearby. A lovely place to stay for a few days.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026Struttura davvero ottima, soprattutto per la vista spettacolare su Portovenere e sul mare. Con circa un centinaio di gradini si raggiunge facilmente la piazza di Portovenere. Abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo la posizione, il panorama e l’atmosfera suggestiva del luogo. Parcheggio comodo e personale estremamente disponibile. Un soggiorno davvero piacevole e rilassante!

A ház előtt egy igazi mediterrán terasz körös körül olívafákkal, és rálátsz az óvárosra (Kőtemplom, kőházak) és le látsz a kikötőre, a hajókra, a sétáló emberekre. Éjjel minden ki van világítva! Fantasztikus hangulata van! A kikötőben egy úszómedence hosszúságú (sőt hosszabb, kb 150 m) rész le van kerítve, nagyon örültünk neki, biztonságot adott, de hosszú strand is van. Érdemes ide látogatni, sok látnivaló, innen kirándulási lehetőség, finom tengeri ételek. Talán evvel kellett volna kezdenem : a vendéglátónk: Giovanni. Végtelen segítőkész, barátságos! Másnap reggel kirándultunk Pisa-ba, tanácsot adott, hogy a legegyyzerűbb odajutni, és megkérdezte, mikor szeretnénk indulni, és reggel 7-re fantasztikus reggelivel várt! És az apukája, Andrea, elutazásunk reggelén találkoztunk vele, mesélt az olasz konyháról, tanácsot adott, pl. az egyik, hogy milyen lisztből tökéletes olasz tészta elkészítése, mennyi ideig kell főzni stb. . Rendkívül barátságos emberek!
Nemcsak itt, az összes városban, végig az olasz tengerparton: a parkolás. Alig találni szabad helyet, körözni kell és fizetős, drága. Nekünk szerencsénk volt, mert is Giovanni megoldotta a kocsink parkolását. Közben a strandok ingyenesek és van vagy ez vagy az : kéz- lábmosó, zuhanyzó, wc.

Personalet var fantastisk, de åpnet til og med frokosten tidligere for oss på avreisedagen. Vi hadde rom med egen balkong og utsikt mot gamlebyen (dette rom anbefales). Ps. Lurt å forhåndsbestille på Beach Club ol i forveien før ankomst om det ønskes solsenger og parasoll, var stort sett fullbooket på disse.
Var fryktelig bratt opp veien med koffert ved ankomst, da ble det desto lettere ved avreise 😊Trapper fra byen opp til overnatting kan være litt syretest. Selve stedet: Ingenting å klage på😎

Frühstück ist definitiv ausbaufähig hinsichtlich frischen Obsts. Der schrank im zimmer riecht muffig und es fehlt an Kleiderhaken oder Fächern. Das badezimmer bräuchte mal eine Grundreinigung der Fugen etc. Grundsätzlich ist das Bad aber schon sauber dank täglicher Reinigung.

Die Lage der Unterkunft war sehr gut, wenn man einmal dort angekommen ist. Was sind die negativen Erfahrungen: 1. Die Zufahrt erfolgt über eine sehr enge Straße, welche bei Gegenverkehr für jeden Fahrer eine Herausforderung werden kann. 2. Es gibt dort keinen Parkplatz, nur schnell um das Gepäck los zu werden - das Gepäck muss dann 20 Meter über eine steile Treppe selbst verbracht werden. 3. Das Auto muss dann ca. 2 km entfernt auf einem kostenpflichtigen Parkplatz abgestellt werden. Um dorthin zu kommen muss man den kostenpflichtigen Stadtbus verwenden. Insgesamt ist die Lage der Unterkunft sehr schön - hätte ich um die Mühen gewusst, welche das Hin - und Wegkommen genauer beschrieben hätten, wäre ich wahrscheinlich auf eine andere Unterkunft gekommen.

For me pillows are everything and I know you can’t please everybody but uncomfortable. Shared balcony which I may have missed in the blurb 🤷♂️ Steps not a problem for us but may be for some Parking is a way up the hill but reasonable at €10 a day. Either coastal walk back down after dropping cases at property or there’s a regular €2 bus. These are just notes and it wouldn’t stop us booking again

Portovenere was a great location for swimming, eating, relaxing and just enjoying the area. There are Ferry boats daily to and from Cinque Terre, Lerici, La Spezia etc. There's boat trip etc. Its a great place that doesn't feel over touristy
I can't complain, I loved the property, the location, and the myriad of activities you can enjoy. If there was one thing, maybe offer more variety of fruit for breakfast..

Reviewed Jun 7, 2026locatie is top! 118 treden af naar het centrum, mooi uitzicht vanaf het huis over het centrum van Portovenere en de haven/ zee. Prima ontbijt, iets meer variatie (in 6 dagen) in beleg of een eitje zou mogen, maar de croissants, brood en yoghurt smaakten prima. De kamer is goed, prima bed en een extra bed voor de koffers en fijne badkamer. Erg schoon allemaal. Er was voor ons een parkeerplek gereserveerd (auto vd eigenaar stond er), want parkeren is anders een uitdaging. Het zijn fijne enthousiaste mensen die het huis beheren, en die zeer behulpzaam zijn om vragen te beantwoorden.

The only downside is the poor condition of the bathroom. The lack of a door on the shower stall and very poor ventilation made using the bathroom difficult.

Les hôtes ont été formidables: des suggestions de restos du coin, des cafés à la commande tous les matins et les installations sur la terrasse pour le petit déjeuner. Nous y retournerions les yeux fermés n’importe quand. Notre séjour a été incroyable.

Reviewed May 17, 2026Andreas contacteerde ons tijdig om ons naar hun locatie te gidsen. Andreas was wel vriendelijk. Als je al de trappen afliep kwam je wel rechtstreeks in het centrum terecht.
Het niet tijdig zeggen dat je geen parking hebt. Dat je met je bagage heel hoog moet klimmen. De ruimte in de kamer, ik was er met mijn dochter in een bed van 1.40m. Geen water, thee of koffie op de kamer. Schimmel in de badkamer op de muren. Luidruchtige kamers en veel lawaai vanaf 8u bij het ontbijt. Ook koffie mocht je zelf niet nemen. Geen vers fruitsap, weinig variatie. Het uitzicht werd belemmerd door de bomen.

Prezzo troppo alto in base a quanto offre la struttura La colazione appena sufficiente, presenza di porzioni di fabbricato/facciate da risistemare, la mia camera aveva un terrazzo, ma non separato da quello della camera accanto, il frigobar era staccato e vuoto, il bagno cieco e il box doccia come minimo da risistemare

Kein Fenster, Eingang über die Terrasse, Mülleimer direkt neben der Eingangstür auf der Terrasse, durch die Enoteca ist es abends recht laut.

Decoracion interior de la casa algo austera. Decoracion y moviliario de habitacion sencillo. Algo ruidoso temprano en la mañana al tratarse de una casa compartida.

Reviewed Apr 8, 2026Die Lage ist großartig! Von der Terrasse aus hat man einen tollen Blick, genießt das Meer und das Ambiente und ist trotzdem weg vom Touristentrubel unten in der Stadt. Die Gastgeber waren enorm freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Für Senioren um Menschen mit Einschränkung nur bedingt geeignet: es gibt keine Parkmöglichkeiten am Haus, die Zufahrt mit dem Auto ist machbar aber anspruchsvoll, Hafen/ Stadt ist zu Fuß zwar in 3 Minuten, aber über eine recht steile Treppe mit rund 120 Stufen erreichbar.

Reviewed Apr 8, 2026Luogo incantevole con una vista meravigliosa, a pochi “gradini” dal centro, ma allo stesso tempo molto tranquillo e silenzioso. Giovanni e Andrea sono estremamente gentili, ci siamo sentiti davvero accolti. La colazione era deliziosa. Torneremo sicuramente!
