Summit Windmill Golf Suite Hotel @Suvarnabhumi

Excellent resort for an overnight stay near Suvarnabhumi Airport.

The airport shuttle was good on time the view from my room was great the room was clean and large but the bed was too much solid I had this hotel because of very close to the airport just one night.

This was our third time at this property. We previously stayed in 2012 and 2023. We stayed for 17 nights this summer (3 different reservations since we went to other provinces during our long trip), and it is still as good as ever. Summit Windmill has great staff. Having a kitchen and washer/dryer is a plus. The massages at the spa were amazing! We will stay again.

This property was beyond beautiful. The room was spacious and the breakfast was great. We would definitely stay here again!

Place was nice.

It is nice to have laundry and kitchen in the suite. The staff is very polite and attentive. We have stayed many times at this property and have always enjoyed our stays.

Summit Windmill is a luxurious golf resort that never disappoints.

The room was excellent — spacious, clean, and well maintained. Great value for the price, and the overall quality of the accommodation exceeded expectations. Unfortunately, the experience was somewhat affected by the poor service. The staff were not very helpful or welcoming, even when speaking Thai. It’s a shame, because the hotel itself is very nice.

The rooms were spacious and the site was quiet. It was a great way to spend the final night in Bangkok for our trip. The golf course looks great, but we didn't get to play as we were only there one night. But the hotel staff were great. We had an early check out to mee tout flight and without asking, the hotel had arranged the baggage handler to come with his trolley to collect our bags to meet the shuttle bus. They were great.

The room size and design is excellent, but quite a few things are missing, which is a shame. For example, there is a washing machine but no soap powder, and worse, no iron nor ironing board... The lobby area is underwhelming. It feels like it was not supposed to be there in the original design. The Fountain restaurant was OK, but really missed out on being quite special. The service there was not brilliant.

The check-in was a disaster the people they don't know what they're doing. The bed sheet had holes in it. Stuff not friendly at all. They smile at you but they don't do nothing that you ask

At first when we arrived, it looked really nice and smelled very nice but when we got to our room on the 8th floor, the A/C was not working family and dining room areas. The master shower was leaking water below the glass into our toilet area, and all 3 beds were as hard as a rock! It was like sleeping on a sheet of thick plywood, VERY uncomfortable. We also had a loud disturbance above us that sounded like adults slamming doors and them fighting. They did move us to another room on the first floor and were very helpful and considerate in our needs. On the first night, I ate at their "Fountain" restaurant and I got serious food poisoning for 3 days and counting but the first two I was very weak. The staff was as helpful as they could be given the poor conditions of the rooms.

Great stay, staff 5 Stars!

The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The room was spacious and the beds soft and comfortable. The staff are kind and most helpful, and breakfast has everything you could want and was so delicious. We enjoyed and would highly recommend.

Nice property in a quiet area, we enjoyed our stay. Please make sure you update the booking conditions in Expedia in regards to the security deposit. It wasn’t mentioned there so we got a bit of a surprise

There were a few positive aspects, but my overall experience was overshadowed by poor communication and service. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was the free shuttle bus. However, I ended up booking a Grab on my last day. The timing of the shuttle service didn’t align well with my schedule, and ultimately, I felt that my time and convenience were more important than relying on a service that didn't meet my needs. Before my arrival, I had arranged for an airport pickup through the hotel, but unfortunately, the hotel failed to provide any details about the pickup spot. I waited for 15 minutes and sent multiple messages but received no response. After that, I took a taxi. Despite reaching out both before and after my arrival at the airport, the hotel only sent out generic messages and never responded to my emails or messages. This left me feeling stranded and frustrated. I also tried contacting the hotel 3 times before my stay using different methods: Expedia Inbox, email and the hotel’s online form, but never received any response. Additionally, I had an unpleasant interaction with a senior staff at the front desk who gave me an attitude when I asked for assistance. It made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. On a positive note, the hotel was clean and comfortable. The other staff members were polite and friendly. While I appreciated some aspects of the hotel, the lack of communication and poor customer service left a negative impression. (3.5/5)

Horrible customer service. We came here 4 hours early and wasn’t able to check in early till 2pm which was our check in time. We decided to do 2 hour massages that seemed promising but then when we got there the massage therapist was so rough and painful and 4 of us had repeatedly told the massage therapist to please go softer but they didn’t listen and kept the same pressure through the massage treatment. I could hear my mom in pain next door and my massage therapist would laugh and make fun of her. After my massage I was very sore and was not happy with my treatment. At the end when I was drinking my tea, my therapist and the other two therapist that did my mom and sister were waiting and asking for tips. This was very unusual and was not proper etiquette for a 5 star hotel. They then proceeded to ask for at least a 100 baht tip which was very unprofessional. After this 2 hour massage us 7 guest went to eat dinner and we ended up checking in at 2:30p and then the hotel told me that one our rooms weren’t ready and that it would be another 30 mins at least. We were very upset since we been traveling for 25 hours and just wanted to check in and take a shower. When I asked if they could do something to compensate they said no and then when I asked to talk to their manger they kept making excuses up on why she couldn’t meet that day or any other day. t’s just sad since this is a nice hotel but customer service is horrible workers there are not catering & don’t go out of the way

Understanding and knowledgeable staff. Comfortable rooms and very good food. The only thing I noticed was one of the elevators could operate with more than three passengers.

Staff and property itself are 5 Star Excellent. In the area of continuous improvement, just 2 thoughts. The Airport shuttle only runs every 2 hours after the 12:30 am Shuttle. There is another property next to this one that has a shuttle that runs every 30 mins. Food for thought. Second point is the signing to the elevators and lobby could use improvement. I would stay again and loved the property.

Beautiful property set up in lush green setting, very clean and comfortable rooms. Staff goes out of their way to make your stay more enjoyable.

Aged golf resort, but room is very spacious with kitchen, living area and washing machine that is very competitive elements at Bangkok. But all the furnitures and bathroom now is the time need refurbished or deeply clean. The worst is we parked our car outdoor in front of restaurant, closed to golf club overnight and being hit with a very long deep scratch, we talked to the staff, they were not very helpful, just said can’t seen by video cameras in our case. Breakfast can’t feed the amount of people attend, we skip the last two days. Windmills golf course is worth to play and spend time on it, they offer night golf, with very enjoyable landscaping.

We were there only 12 hours, staff and room could not have been better.

Room is clean and smells good. Big enough if you're staying for long. I like the washer features inside rhe room. We had a very wonderful stay. Thabks to very nice and helpful staff.

The property is a great property but its far from malls, nearby attractions. Wish the hotel would offer regular shuttles to the airport and nearby attractions or malls.

This was my third stay on the site and my second stay at this hotel. The suites are very modern with a luxury feel. I’ll continue to stay here before departing for Suvarnabhumi - I like my last night to be at a more de luxe hotel -

It advertises an airport shuttle but none between 8am and noon!! Not much use … Only a brief stopover and had to get a taxi both ways. Was advised there was a pool but it was closed.

Service got down not to standard it should be. Needs to fo better at price changed it not cheap yet Service is below expectation for type of service apartment, and swimming pool is far to small it is very very small so small its unuseable to swim in. Furthermore it is along Way from everything, so thing twice do I need to be on a golf course. And see what csn be better?

The service and property next to the Meridien with the Fountain for brunch is spectacular. I got such great service they even changed my mattress to a more modern thicker foam variety. This hotel for 125 a night is an unbeatable deal and value. I will return next year no doubt but with my golf clubs

This place is amazing, a mall next door with hotel entrance. The views are spectacular, the room is like an apartment. Plenty within walking distance. Just so much you’ll have to experience it yourself. Do yourself a favor and make this gem your next hotel in Bangkok

Wonderful golf resort! The room I stayed in was large and luxurious. It was the size of a condo and had a kitchen area with washer/dryer, and a large refrigerator. The living room and outdoor patio area were comfortable with great views of the golf course. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, as well as having very good English! They arranged for taxi service for me to the next city I was traveling to, and accommodated my bags while I played golf. The massage I received was very relaxing and with excellent technique. The breakfast included with my stay had many options and was very good. My dinner in the restaurant was excellent, and my round of golf was wonderful (except my poor play that day). My caddie, Fon, was a pleasure to have as my guide. I highly recommend Summit Windmill as a residence while visiting Bangkok, or as a golf vacation destination.

It is not really close to anything of interest in Bangkok but what is. Tough city to get around easily. Staff was excellent but the office screwed up on the airport shuttle and we had to pay for a taxi one way. Otherwise the hotel is great.

Great place to stay that feels like home. I love to golf, so this was convenient and relaxing. You don’t have to hassle with the traffic to get to the golf course when you want to play!

The staff are very friendly and welcoming, however, for a 5-star hotel, there were several things lacking. For one, communication was difficult at times. Most 5-star hotels have staff that speak English quite well, especially in the restaurants and concierge/reception. However, this was not the case. I had to email several times explaining the same thing over and over before my arrival. I had a hard time explaining what I wanted to order from room service and finally had to give the number of the dish I wanted. Secondly, although the rooms are super spacious and the beds are quite comfortable, the room smelled a bit musty. Also, the second shower flooded immediately. We called to have them fix it, and a man came with a plunger. He was there only a few minutes and left. No word as to whether it was fixed or not. We had to call the housekeeping to have them clean the massive flooding on the floor. When it was cleaned, no one called to tell us if we could use it or not. Also, we had the Do Not Disturb on our door and Housekeeping knocked at night, waking us up. The property is beautiful and super convenient if you need an overnight stay in Bangkok before a flight (as we did), and the shuttle service is very convenient and free, which was great. But for a five-star hotel, they need much better training and much better service.

Overnight stay in Bangkok before going onto Kuala Lumpur. Hotel was better than expected. It was more like having our own apartment at the resort. Would definitely recommend

.We booked this hotel,because we had a one-night stopover in Bangkok. Everything worked out perfectly: shuttle service from and to the airport is about 20 minutes an very well organized. The apartment was simply fantastic and we have probably never stayed at such a nice and spacious place. We also had a beautiful balcony and a great view to the golf course with the skycscrapers of Bangkok in the background. The furniture is also very tasteful and the apartment feels really like a place you could stay for much longer. Also the 'Fountain' restaurant was quite good and fairly priced. The only disadvantage is that there is not really much around the place (apart from a golf course and another resort) - it is kind of a resort in the middle of nowhere. However, for us this was perfectly fine, because we just had a stopover after our flight from Australia, flying out to Europe the next day. Next time we will stay two nights and relx at Summit Windmill for a bit longer. Highly recommendable: 10/10.

Golf club not that close to airport. We stayed as it was claimed to be close to airport - it is not. It is not near anything. No reason to stay there unless all you want to do is golf. Only one restaurant that was average at best.

Really nice staff, outstanding property, with clean and comfortable rooms. This is the most comfortable hotel I have stayed at while traveling to Thailand.

I stayed with my family on July 2022. First, it was too hidden. Second, only one restaurant was open and it was not as if my family and I could leave the hotel and walk to another restaurant because the hotel/ residences are too far away from the street. Third, the sliding doors in the balcony did not lock (were broken) the restroom doors do not lock either. There is no staff available to answer quick questions. Overall, it was a 5 out of 10. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Unfortunately, the pandemic has not been kind to this hotel. We visited in 2019 and LOVED it! But it has gone downhill fast since then. Our room felt worn-out and the hotel felt like a ghost town. Service was VERY limited and uncomfortable. Our room had hundreds (not an exaggeration) of mosquitos. We spent an hour ridding our room of the pests before we could sleep. The pool is miniature- the kind that would typically be for each individual room at a nice resort- a "plunge pool", but for the entire hotel. We really regretted staying here again. The only redeeming quality is the vicinity to the airport and free airport shuttle.
