The customer service was impeccable from Andrea and Nicky. The views from the complex were absolutely incredible and the spacious layout of the apartment made our stay feel like home from home.

We had a fantastic stay and would happily recommend this place. The location was excellent—quiet, peaceful, and felt very safe throughout our visit. A special mention to the lovely staff member at reception who checked us in and shared great local recommendations for dining and things to do—it really enhanced our stay. The house itself was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking. Having two bathrooms was a big plus and made things very convenient. We also really enjoyed access to the pool and spa, which were a great bonus. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay—we’d definitely come back!

We noticed the property included a garage, and our driver had hoped to use it for parking; however, it appeared to be unavailable. This wasn’t a major issue, but it would have been a nice added convenience to have access to covered parking.

When booking a 4 night stay you’d expect at least 2 dishwashing sachets per day, not 2 for the full stay, same with rubbish bags and basic cleaning stuff. Shld be properly stocked if not serviced

Die Lage der Wohnung ist einmalig, mit direktem Blick auf den Kanal. Vor allem morgens zum Frühstücken auf der Terrasse oder abends beim Grillen einfach unschlagbar. Die Wohnung selbst ist großzügig, sehr sauber und vermittelt eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Das Bett war sehr bequem, das Bad vollkommen ausreichend, wenn auch etwas dunkel.

Es wäre schön, wenn es eine Kaffeemaschine geben würde.

A lovely peaceful location on the waterways. Comfortable beds, spacious, clean and very well maintained grounds.

Not what I expected at this price point. Had chosen this for 3 nights as a relaxing base mid trip to catch up with admin/work and chill for a while. A big miss was terrible internet so impossible to work from here or relax watching Netflix as streaming was really hit and miss. Smaller issues - Kitchen in theory well equipped but frying pans in need to replacement and knives need sharpening. Niggles - light out in the kitchen the whole time of our stay. Should have been checked before our stay and wasn't fixed during it. Given this is being marketed as top end accommodation it isn't quite there. Could quite easily be fixed I think but we were underwhelmed.

Friendly staff, lovely apartment with canal views. All the modern facilities as you would expect for the price. A little away from the main streets of Whitianga. Pool was cold although it is apparently heated. A nice visit.

Pool was cold, considering it was meant to be heated, and we had a drain smell lingering in the bathroom most of the time.

The location was walking distance or a short drive to supermarkets and restaurants as well as not far from Cathedral Cove activities. The welcoming by Andrea and Nicki was great including helpful information and the apartment was lovely, clean and had everything we needed.

It was 5 star, there was nothing to dislike.

Instructions for television would be helpful . We found ourselves going in circles trying to use unfamiliar devices.

The location was amazing. The views from the balcony were unbelievable.

The tv, stove, oven and all appliances were all dated and are in serious need of an upgrade. It dosnt look like anything’s been done since it was built.

Pool and spa were great, very spacious apartment with everything we needed. Our best accomodation during our north islamd trip.

Only thing was the lights shone through to bedroom at night from opposite homes as there were no curtains - just blinds.

it was so quiet. The apartment was spacious and had great viwes over the marina. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Great advice about where to eat locally.

Enorm veel ruimte en uitstekend ingericht. Alles erop en eraan, zelfs met een garage. Veilig. Ook gym en zwembad op complex.

What an absolutely beautiful place to stay, staff were accommodating and friendly, we did not get a chance to have a dip in the pool as we had a full on weekend while we were there but, definitely next time we are visiting Whitianga I will come back again. Thank you Sovereign Pier on the waterways!!

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Die Ausstattung könnte um eine Kaffeemaschine ergänzt werden.

Excellent space! Heaps of room for the kids and beautiful furnishings! Really made us feel like we were staying in luxury. Beds were comfy. Bathrooms were beautiful and clean. Excellent for families living beach life with a washing machine and dryer….Amazing! Kitchen was so well equipped too! Awesome to have clothes horses too!

The apartment is big. It was clean and the location was very handy. The apartment managers were very friendly.

Well positioned, close to the village, very clean and tidy, well maintained, great pool and spa, well equipped gym and kayaks to kayak in the water ways. Tennis courts with balls and rackets provided in a perfect spot.

WOW what an absolutely amazing place. We were blown away by the spaciousness and luxury of our suite! Beautifully appointed, tastefully decorated and exceptional amenities. The canal view was fabulous and enjoying sundowners on the generous sized deck was the end to a perfect day. We were greeted by such friendly reception staff who were extremely helpful and made us feel so welcome. Beds were so comfy, a great choice of pillows, lovely fluffy towels and plenty of room to spread out and relax. Couldn't fault this place.... great lication, handyvto everything and could highly recommend it as a quality place to stay.

The weather was as good while we up there for 2days but the little bit of good sun weather we did get was beautiful could enjoy a spa

The location was convenient and the views were spectacular

We were unfortunately an hour late for checkout, which we understand is not ideal. However, the staff member was extremely rude in handling the situation. Instead of allowing us a few minutes to finish packing and cleaning up, she was verbally aggressive and kicked us out of the room while we were still gathering our things. A more professional and respectful approach would have been appreciated.

Great outlook over the waterway & boats. Very quiet and peaceful & lovely comfortable beds. Also bonus being able to use the gym. Manager's were also very friendly and helpful.

We had a downstairs unit, so the only downside was that it was a bit dark and the downlights were not very bright. Not a major issue, and we would still highly recommend this accommodation.
