Unmatched hospitality! Dani and Linda were THE BEST hosts. And their Bernese Mountains dogs were so much fun to play with. Incredible views and would highly recommend!

On top of comfortable stay in peaceful and beautiful location, we received memorable breakfasts with surprises and delicious local products with interesting stories. It was also very helpful to get the local guidance where to go to avoid the crowds without compromising the experience & views. For us, meeting the two dogs was an icing on the cake!

Options for dinner in the village were a bit limited, but a free bus ride to Interlaken that took 15 minutes was very convenient.

The staff and Dani were particularly friendly and welcoming. We listened to countless enjoyable and informative stories from Dani. Breakfast was very pleasant with something special every day. The view of lake Thun and the mountains from our room was amazing! The room furnishing was charming and vintage collector level family heritage level. So much so we were a little concerned we would break something.

The restaurant was closed so no dinner or lunch: only breakfast. The hotel is a good ten to fifteen minute drive from Interlaken so dinner would have been rather nice an option. Ultimately the hotel felt like it became more of a bed and breakfast setup and so for the price paid we thought it rather on the expensive side for what it was.

É fácil chegar, pertinho do ponto do ônibus, da pra ir de mala tranquilamente de transporte público. A vista é inacreditável de linda. Linda e Dani são verdadeiros anfitriões, não é só mais um hotel. Tudo cuidado, bonito, gostoso de estar. Os cachorros são adoráveis. Fiquei num quarto bem pequeno para passar duas noites e não senti falta de nada porque a varanda com vista compensa a sensação de espaço. Muito gostoso estar lá. Pretendo voltar!

"Warm hospitality and a home away from home" My wife and I stayed here for two nights and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by Dani, the hotel owner, whose genuine hospitality set the tone for our entire stay. The hotel is managed by Dani and his wife Linda, and together they are truly exceptional hosts. The property is beautifully managed and has a lovely, welcoming home-like atmosphere. As a thoughtful touch, Dani upgraded our room and provided us with a balcony room, which was a delightful surprise. Upon check-in, we were even treated to homemade cheese and fresh juice — a lovely welcome gesture. Throughout our two-day stay, Dani and Linda took great care of us, making sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was served fresh every morning with incredible views — the perfect way to start the day. On checkout, Dani went above and beyond by kindly driving us to the train station in his car. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

Das Hotel ist wahnsinnig schön gelegen mit einer atemberaubenden Sicht auf den Thunersee und Jungfrauregion. Das Hotel hat Charm, und man fühlte sich sofort wohl und gut aufgehoben. Die Gastgeber Dani & Linda waren einer der Besten Gastgeber ever. Sie haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen und mit Rat und Tat zur Seite gestanden. Dani hat uns viele Tips gegeben, und war immer für ein guten Witz parat. Natürlich haben ihre Hunde Heidi & Klara wahnsinnig zur tollen Stimmung beigetragen. Wir würden sofort wieder kommen und können das Hotel warmstherzig weiter empfehlen.

We had such a wonderful stay at Hotel Fassbind Beausite! Our room was quiet and beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. We especially loved that many of the breakfast items had their own special stories behind them—it made the experience feel even more unique. The hosts were so friendly, informative, and creative, and there were lots of sweet little surprises throughout our stay. The friendly dogs were an added bonus too! 😊 We had an excellent time and would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you for making our visit so special!

Nothing to do with the hotel itself, but the location into Beatenberg has one main road from Interlaken. Driving back up the mountain later at night (around 10pm) on one of the two nights we stayed, we were stuck at the base of the hill for probably 20-30 minutes because there was roadwork ongoing. It would not prevent us from staying here again, we would just be mindful of our return time in the evenings. As they clearly state on their website, no AC, but there is a tower fan that is strong!

Everything was perfect. Thanks to Dani and Linda for their kindness and hospitality.

I think this is possibly one of the best properties available, especially if you’re driving and willing to stay in Beatenberg. The property itself is wonderful, but what truly made our stay exceptional was the host. He was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and genuinely kind throughout our stay. What really stood out was that, completely on his own initiative and without us even asking, he brought halal food for us outside the regular menu. That level of thoughtfulness and hospitality is rare and made us feel genuinely cared for. He also serves food grown on his own farm during breakfast, which made the experience even more special and authentic. The combination of the beautiful property, peaceful location, amazing hospitality, and personal touches made our overall experience truly exceptional. Highly recommended!

Nothing - Everything was perfect

Exceptional hospitality and a beautiful Swiss escape and views. We had a truly wonderful stay. The guest house was spotlessly clean, comfortable, peaceful, and perfectly located, only around 20 minutes from Interlaken, with an incredible view over Interlaken and the surrounding mountains. Far enough away from the crowds and busy tourist areas to feel completely peaceful, while still being very convenient for exploring the region. The room was lovely, and I stayed in the James Bond room like they call it, because of its view towards the famous James Bond mountain. The breakfast was delicious, with wonderful local touches. The homemade cheese was exceptional, but the real highlight for me was the panna cotta, absolutely unforgettable! But above everything else, what makes this place special is the hospitality of Dani and Linda. They were incredibly warm, generous, attentive, and genuinely happy to make our stay special. They kept surprising us with thoughtful little gestures, gave us excellent tips for exploring the area, helped us whenever we needed anything, and even shared stories and history about Switzerland that made the experience much richer. You can find beautiful places anywhere, but exceptional hospitality is rare. Dani and Linda made us feel welcomed and at home. Like they say it, we came as guests and left as friends. We came for the beauty of Switzerland and Interlaken, but we left with memories of their kindness and warmth that we will always remember. Highly recommended. And honestly, the hospitality deserves a 11/10. 🇨🇭🇲🇺❤️

The breakfast was wonderful in everyway. Homemade cheese and a handmade breakfast treats with a spectaular view from the breakfast table. The hosts were delightful and accomodating in everyway. We had to leave early on our last day and they even made us breakfast and lunch to go for our journey.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

Petit-déjeuner fantastique avec des produits locaux, dont certains faits maison par le propriétaire, hébergement très typique et propre, les propriétaires sont merveilleux, super sympathiques et accueillants, mais pour moi, le meilleur atout est la vue, elle est à couper le souffle.

Aussicht aus einem Zimmer, das tatsächlich Seesicht hat, ist schön. Frühstück war gut.

Keinerlei Empfang beim Check-in. (Hinterlegung eines Couverts mit Name und Zimmerschlüssel im Eingangsbereich). Das winzige Einzelzimmer wurde mir mit Seesicht und Mini-Bar bestätigt. Beides ist nicht vorhanden. Mobiliar ist alt und abgenutzt. Der Teppich müsste seit Jahren ersetzt werden. Beim Frühstück hatte es um 08.02 bereits keine Gipfeli mehr. Bar Royal Litchi (zu CHF 4.50 in der Landi zu kaufen) wird einem US-Gast als „Champagne“ angepriesen.

Der Aufenthalt in der Schweiz war rundum gelungen. Das Essen war hervorragend, besonders der Käse hat mir außergewöhnlich gut gefallen. Der Gastgeber ist ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Mann, der den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Insgesamt war es eine sehr positive und bereichernde Erfahrung.

The hosts Dani and Linda were super friendly and helpful (they also have lovely dogs). The hotel is located in the mountains and bus ticket is included in the price. All the information came before the trip so it was easy to find the hotel without stress. The breakfast was great, everything was fresh made and locally produced. Room was small but cute and clean, view was amazing.

Der Gastgeber war (über-) freundlich und wollte alle Produkte auf dem Frühstücksbuffet genau beschreiben. Das Haus selber ist in die Jahre gekommen und müsste mal saniert werden.

Lugar lindo, com vista para os alpes e lago. Os proprietários Linda e Dani são ótimos. O café da manhã é muito bom. A localização é muito boa, bem perto de Interlaken e tem estacionamento.

Die Lage des Hotels mit blick auf den Thunersee ist atemberaubend. Die Besitzer Dani und Linda geben sich große mühe für Ihre Gäste. Man merkt, dass das Motto: " Du kommst als Gast, gehst als Freund" zu 100% gelebt wird. Bei vielen Fragen, waren Sie mir stets behiflich. Ich komme aufjedenfall wieder!

Warm host Dani takes great pride in his fantastic chalet. He has a story to tell about every aspect of your stay from the cheeses to Heidi, the big Bernese. In a more remote location, the views to lake Thun are amazing.

De goede ligging, goede uitvalsbasis, het zeer goede ontbijt enz… Maar zeker ook het enthousiasme van Dani! Hij geeft je direct het gevoel heel erg welkom te zijn en zorgt ervoor dat de slogan van het hotel waarheid wordt. Je komt aan als gast en vertrekt als vriend. Welnu, hij brengt dat in praktijk! Maar hij geeft ook zeer veel praktische tips, wat te doen en wat niet te doen in de regio, maar ook de culinaire verrassingen die hij met je bespreekt zijn zeker de moeite waard. (Maar ga ik hier niet verklappen) Als besluit: het is een prachtige regio met een goed gelegen hotel met een prachtig uitzicht, maar vooral de eigenaars zorgen ervoor dat het een onvergetelijk bezoek wordt. Dankjewel!

The view from the hotel is absolutely stunning. You can see panoramic mountain scenery that looks straight out of a postcard. It is the kind of view that makes you pause and take it all in. Mornings are just as memorable. If you leave your windows open, you wake up to the gentle sounds of birds instead of traffic. Herzlich, liebevoll und persönlich eingerichtet und geführt. Kein anonymes Standard-Hotel, sondern echte Gastfreundschaft und Service! Das Hotel hat eine wunderbare Aussicht, zu jeder Tageszeit sieht sie anders aus, man kann sich kaum sattsehen. Sehr einfach und schnell von Interlaken erreichbar, auch mit dem Bus.

Из-за того что здание старое, в комнате было очень холодно. Запахи с кухни чувствуются в номере,и это не очень приятно, к сожалению.

During the evening, we were served a delicious barbecue paired with wonderful wine, followed by a rich and flavorful cheese fondue that was simply outstanding. Everything was prepared with care and tasted incredible. The views are truly spectacular — waking up to the Alps right outside your window feels almost surreal. The atmosphere is peaceful, intimate, and perfect for anyone looking to celebrate something meaningful or simply escape into nature. The hosts are an exceptionally kind and welcoming couple. They are warm, interesting to talk to, and always ready to help with anything you need. What made our stay even more special were the hidden local gems they shared with us — beautiful secret spots that are not listed in typical guides. Their recommendations made us feel like we were experiencing Switzerland in a truly unique way. Even their dogs are so friendly and charming that they immediately make you feel at home. If you are considering booking a stay for a special celebration — just do it. This place is truly amazing. Die Gastgeber Linda und Dani sind sehr herzlich und es stimmt: ‘Ich komme als Gast und gehe als Freund.’ Dani überraschte mich jeden Morgen mit einer Geschichte, einer Spezialität und sein Rührei sowie seine ‘Röschti mit Spiegelei’ sind sensationell. Alles kommt von Herzen - auch die beiden Hunde (Heidi und Clara), sowie die Katze ‘Maya’sind herzlich und es war für mich eine grosse Freude, von den Tieren begrüsst zu werden. Ich komme wieder und kann das Hotel bestens weiter empfehlen.
