Asure Macys Motor Inn And Conference Centre

Room was immaculately presented along with daily room cleaning! We arrived after 10pm for a late check-in, and the lights in our room were left on so we could find it easy in the dark and rain. The property was well kept, plenty of parking, and we really enjoyed our 2 night stay. The bathroom is spacious and great, water pressure perfect. From booking to check out, staff were friendly and amazingly helpful, and we thank you dearly. We’ll be back if ever in Tauranga in the future! 10/10

Quiet, clean unit, bed comfortable, owner is a very pleasant person, staff friendly and the unit had all as was advertised.

The owner is very cheerful and friendly. There is great parking and the room was extremely clean, big comfortable bed and the spa bath in the room was awesome!

The front desk staff was nice and the room was clean. The bed was very comfortable.

Liked the spa bath and comfortable bed

We arrived very late due to travel delays, and it was organised smoothly and so easy to quickly get into our room. The room was spotlessly clean, great water pressure, spacious and really well stocked little kitchenette. Great location walkable to endless dining options. Would stay here again in a heartbeat

Excellent Service

We had a great one night stay at Macys before hospital appointments and it was quiet, despite being near a main road, with comfortable bedding and was spotlessly clean. The manager was friendly and helpful, all in all a great stay.

Good

This place was awesome, super friendly staff, very patient with us when we missed check out. rooms were really high quality, Fairly cheap as well.

Last minute decision to stay in Tauranga and this place came up on trivago that appealed to us. Greeted by owner who was lovely to desl with. Room we stayed in was super king. Bed comfortable. Room was nice and clean. Spa was lovely. Parking a breeze. Easy place to find.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Needs updated. People very helpful.

Loved the room, quiet, roomy, wonderful shower. Pool was being cleaned during customer hours

Friendly Staff and very convenient location

Great stay, easy to find and location was close enough to main roads without having lots of noise during the night.

Owner was very friendly, kind and helpful. Room was nice and clean, spa bath in our room was good, great location. Would stay again

We just needed a bed & shower for the night. We picked a small studio and it was perfect for what we needed. We went to Elizabeth Street cafe for brunch as recommended by the motel owner. Great recommendation 👍

The whole vibe of our stay away amazing thanks to the staff. Warm and open welcoming.

Nice stay and friendly staff

Very polite, clean, easy access. Top of the range

Great stay, very welcoming and friendly!

Very friendly helpful owners. Well positioned and comfortable sty

Functional kitchen facilities, adequate crockery etc. Roomy, had everything we needed. Clean.

Grate

Comfy beds. But if space in the lounge area. Small kitchen but works well. Spacious bathroom with spa bath. I was in a Delux 1 bedroom and the bathroom was an ensuite off the bedroom.

The bed, a double, the worst I have ever slept in. Honestly guys, you need to update/replace your beds. We hardly slept all night (unit 18).

A fantastic place to stay awesome inside

Good quite place to stay, friendly staff too

Easy access and very clean

Great place to stay, comfortable, quiet, ample space, relaxing in the jet tub.

Good location and facilities. However, they still physically write down credit card details. For added security with customers, it should be saved electronically so that it can be safely stored. Someone could just take a picture of the cc details that was written down.

Very welcoming

This is a great place to stay for families. It has a great pool! Our unit was tidy and quiet, we had a lovely little backyard so could sit outside and enjoy the sun. The owners were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely stay there again!

We had a great stay and will definitely be staying there again.

Nothing we didn’t like! Easy access, clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable. The manager was super nice and friendly, the pool was right outside, we both love it💕👍

Loved the pool it has a nice shaded area where I could sit with my baby out of the sun. Also enjoyed the spa in the room. In spite of the proximity to the road I slept well and we made use of the air con

Great location and room was awesome

Was a little dated. Ok for a night

Roomy

It was good andclean.

Very nice got upgraded to honeymoon room! Remembered I had stayed in this very room early 90’s! Super comfy bed and nice linen, lovely spa bath. A. It dated but clean and had everything I needed.

Easy to find clean and close to main centre

The staff are friendly and it's close to everything. Ai also like the size of the rooms.

good customer focus

Nothing major wrong but I was surprised it got 4.8/5 from over 400 reviews. It is quite run down. Mould around base boards. Very old fixtures and fittings. Small cramped space. Cockroache in room on arrival. Peeling paint. Broken filter cover in pool. Tiny fridge that didn't keep food cold. The pool was lovely and the property was very close to shops which was awesome. The staff were friendly and helpful

Great place to stay.

Was nice and quiet, children friendly, welcoming manager and staff.

The kids said it was the best hotel pool that they'd ever been in ! Manager and staff were very pleasant, responsive and helpful to our needs which we really appreciated. Facilities were very clean .Spa bath was a bonus! Location was great - close to supermarkets, food and motorway Parking was onsite but little tight. Not sure about recycling facilities in site, looks like it might just go to landfill?

Very handy location, friendly hosts and convenient parking near your room.

I enjoyed a one night stay and found the room nice, clean and well appointed. I would be happy to stay again.

The Motel is very clean and tidy. We have stayed in a few motels around the country, and I have to say that this one is excellent. Very good location, parking, and friendly staff. I recommend to anyone passing through/Holidaying.

good location.

Clean amenities with all the mod cons, loved the spa bath.

The room felt homely and comfortable and most of all relaxing

Easy to find, very friendly, helpful owner at Reception. Very convenient for where we needed to be. Rooms were reasonably old but very clean fresh linen and accessories, very well stocked for being self sufficient.

Great proximity to the Venue we were attending and also to the Motorway.

Lovely and clean, pleasant helpful staff. Spa bath was awesome. A lovely stay and would definitely stay there again.

Easy checkin and very friendly welcome. Spa bath was nice.

This place had everything we needed. Overnight stay, friendly service, clean and tidy room. Comfortable. We had ROOM 10 which was out of the way from other guests which I was happy about. Sleeps 3 people. Close to city, supermarkets etc. Other reviews mentioned noise was bad because of traffic but our room was away from the road so that was good. It's a first in first serve by way of parking so we had to park on the street but ah well. Other than that a perfect stay.

Very friendly and helpful hosts who went out their way to help us with the parking of a large vehicle

Clean and tidy, everything you need.

Beds were very comfortable

Nice spacious motel room. Spa bath looked inviting, but not used. Motel very close to CBD and bars & restaurants. No issues encountered. Recommended for your stay.

Very good hotel, nothing really to complain about.

Very friendly clean and tidy great place to stay and loved the location can’t wait to come back

Very pleasant place to stay. Friendly staff and clean unit. good location

Roger and his lovely house keepers made our stay exceptional, so accommodating, friendly. Would recommend highly to others. Thank you Roger. Kim and Rob

Lovely place very clean lovely hosts would recommend

I enjoyed our stay. We stayed for about 5 nights. The bed is comfy. Room veyr spacious and has all the necessities. Including a spa bath.

Friendly reception, I was moved to a more convenient unit and the spa bath was fantastic.

Very warm welcome, rooms nice and clean and shower was hot and great pressure. Our room was quiet and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and would stay again

Clean, great bed, quite even though fill.

Very pleasant staff/owner. Was happy to change my room, without hesitation, as the first room was not my taste. Was slightly late checking out, but wasn't a problem for them.

The lack of a vanity in the bathroom; a shower that one could not move in without bumping the sides; and only one easy chair for a unit designed for two occupants were serious downsides that would deter us from staying there again.

Will stay again- nice and clean and staff really good

Extra clean facility. Close to Hospital were I needed to be visiting, and CBD. Enjoyed a suite with spa bath. Would stay again.

It is nice and central, close to town as well as a nice selection of restaurants and take away places. Check in was easy and the staff really friendly. The room was spotless.

Very clean and well presented. Staff were excellent

Me and my two sisters had the best time great place will definitely stay there again. Will take the family with us next time round, very local to what we were there for.

A good basic motel. I thought it was expensive for a room but compared to others around the area it seems similar in price. Good location if you have transport.

It was a great place for my family and I. I wouldn't like to stay there up stairs again as I have a toddler.

Greeted by Roger who was very friendly and a great host, showed me exactly where to find my room. Room was very clean and walking distance to Subway, Pak n Save etc... Highly recommend Macy’s Motor Inn Tauranga, will definitely stay here again.

Check in staff very accommodating and helpful, room a little tired.

Really close to food outlets. Enjoyed stay, will be back.

Great wifi and area. Brand new carpet. Very cold and had to have heaters going constantly. Need to upgrade heating

We booked the compact double room which was more than adequate for a one night stay, had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean.

We live in tauranga but stay here just cause we can and like how you can just chill in the spa and watch tv

Our room had a spa bath right next to the bed 😂 Quirky but strange addition.

We had a great stay here, comfortable and clean. Great location!! Will definitely stay again

Clean and roomy, plenty of space. Staff super friendly and extremely willing to help. The rooms were neat and tidy and the price very reasonable. Would definitely stay there again.

Central, friendly helpful reception, very clean tidy and felt secure. Would have liked aircon

Awesome and awesome service

Great ! Always enjoy our stay were put in a room right opisite the pool so handy comfortible room its a favorite place of ours close to everything only thng was griped about hiw much we oaid upon check in made me abit uncomftble but such a small issue the many other aspects outweighs this def recomend macys

Nice and comfortable. Bit noisy from garage next door.

The room is equipped well with most of things we need. But the condition is not good enough, and the room size is not big comparing other similar hotels in our trip.

Great room. Very comfortable . Good location . The swimming pool was very refreshing

Very tidy&clean, close to the hospital as we were up from wgtn visiting a family member.

Our room was very ckean and it was great value for money .

Property was really peaceful and the Pool was Lovely!!
