Als ik een klein puntje mag zeggen, poets de ramen in restaurant. Prachtig uitzicht op de zee maar vertroebeld door vuile ramen.

Great location, right on the beach, beautiful walks, safe neighborhood. The breakfast and dinner was next level and included, more food than we could handle. Never ending cups of coffee and beverages in the room are all included. Turn down service with treats and hot chocolate, and a hot water bottle in the the bed. The staff is soooo friendly. We could get used to this life of luxury

The food was generally good and well prepared. The room was superb - generous proportions, luxurious, and beautifully presented. Bed was extremely comfortable. My initial reservations about the location next to the bar proved to be misplaced.

The overall impression was that it lacked the high quality leadership to achieve a truly outstanding experience. Routines at meals were inconsistent. We waited a really long time (way more than the 2o mins advised) for breakfast one morning. Tables were not always cleared of bowls/ side plates before hot breakfast arrived. Waiters were setting up for the next service during mealtimes. Glasses were carried with fingers inside them. Dairy free meals were inconsistently met - not at all for dessert or hot chocolate/night time room treats.

Het is een heerlijke accommodatie, de staff is echt fantastisch behulpzaam en lief. Het eten is ook goed en de wijn smaakte heerlijk. Voor een echte verwen periode is dit de perfecte uitvalsbasis. Prachtig uitzicht op de oceaan, die wel erg koud is om in te zwemmen, schone en ruime kamers

Everything was very good! For the price no complaints! Of course one could up the dinner even more but then a price increase would be justified

Breakfast was innovative, delicious and healthy. The views were special. The highlight of the stay is the staff; they are exceptional: caring, kind, friendly and so hospitable and make sure they do everything to make the stay remarkable. They also went to a great deal of effort to make my partner's birthday unforgettable and amazing; the best ever! The dinners are also delicious and of course the views phenomenal. This is our third stay and the consistent high quality service and hospitality is so appreciated. Best place to stay.

Wir hatten 5 Übernachtungen gebucht. Und in dieser Zeit gab es keinen Anlass für irgendwelche Beschwerden. Das große und sehr komfortable Zimmer mit Blick aufs Meer die traumhaft schöne Lage mit einem wunderschönen Strand direkt vor der Haustür., die gehobene , sehr leckere Verpflegung , der freundliche und hilfsbereite Service. Alles auf sehr gehobenen Niveau.

Da fällt uns nichts ein.

Ein sehr schönes und kleines privates Hotel mit 6 Zimmern. Daher ist auch ein sehr aufmerksamer Service vorhanden, tolle Speisen und Getränke.

Wat een wereldplek ! Fantastisch uitzicht, mooie kamers met heerlijke bedden. Personeel is geweldig aardig en attent. Prima eten, bijna alle drankjes inbegrepen in de prijs. Een verborgen pareltje!

De kamers beneden hebben iets minder privacy.

L'accueil était fantastique, le personnel est aux petits soins et nous nous sentions comme chez nous. Les repas et le petit déjeuner étaient très bon.

It was so restful as everything is taken care of. One staff member was so kind as to assist me in even learning how to ride a bikes (available for use). Food was wonderful. Attention to detail, brilliant.

A truly beautiful hotel right on the sea front. The sleepy village is also great to explore. Our stay at Last Word Long Beach was absolutely wonderful as the team went above and beyond to make our honeymoon trip feel special and we really appreciated it.

The attention to detail and personal service from the team is exceptional. Old school hospitality.

The cosy hotel is situated right on the beach. It has amazing views of the ocean, beautiful interiors, incredibly kind and attentive staff and delicious food. It was a perfect stay and we will definitely come back. Once more „Big thank you” to all the staff who made our stay so amazing.

Trato muy familiar y atento por parte de Johan y Fanie. La ubicación y las vistas desde nuestra habitación fue espectacular. Lugar donde han cuidado todo tipo de detalles, desde el servilletero hasta las palas para la playa. El desayuno y la cena muy rico y variado. El seafood espectacular. Lugar muy tranquilo para descansar y desconectar.

The location is awesome as it's right on the beach. The meals were exceptional and the staff were very friendly. Johann in particular went the extra mile!

The hotel needs a refurb particularly in the rooms. We stayed in the junior suite which had a magnificent ocean view, it was tastefully decorated, but the bathroom needs an update. The taps, the bath tub, toilet and basins. The shower tap indicators for hot and cold water kept falling off every time we used them. The description had mentioned underfloor heating, but it only worked in a very small section of the room. A rug under the bed would have been nice so you step onto a warm rug instead of a cold floor when getting out of bed. Another thing is it would be nice to sleep with the shutters open to look at the sea, but the sliding doors would need to be changed so outsiders can't see inside the room.

LOCATION

Breakfast superb with many choices. Location perfect- on beach, sea and mountain view- picturesque. safe beach to walk; and waves ideal for surfers. This was our 2nd stay and we were just as impressed as the 1st stay. And the nightly winter-suprises - just wow! The care of the staff is beyond exceptional; great teamwork and everybody is helpful and friendly; sincerly so.

A most amazing place: location and hospitality of the highest order. A unique boutique hotel that exceeded my expectations. So many nice personal touches. Excellent breakfast and dinner (all included) and also most drinks included. Wonderful staff.

The breakfast was amazing, as were the dinners. The effort put into making us happy was phenomenal. The staff outdid themselves. The surprise they organised on our first night left us speechless. Absolutely incredible place and we loved our stay and will definitely visit again.

The pool area needs work. The pool was dirty on the only sunny day we had and the paving next to the pool needs to be repaired.

One of the best hotel that I stayed. Perfect location, amazing service and people. They think ahead of your wishes and we had fantastic experience with this hotel. Will definitely come back.

The breakfast was delicious; lots of innovative choices and the fresh fruit selection special. The location was superb; on the beach with magnificent sea and mountain views. The sound of the sea was so soothing. The staff members were all exceptional; professional, friendly, attentive, helpful and kind. They were really great and enhanced the stay. This is the best place to stay in Cape Town. Perfect choice.
