Lovely quiet location within reach of easy walking to the beach and light house! Very nice hostess as well as a good artist (potter)! The whole atmosphere is very homey and peaceful¨ We loved our stay! Too short!!

The hosts - Michele and Roger - are so friendly and inviting. The house is beautifully decorated and is located in a quiet neighborhood, a very short walk from Long's Beach for surfing and local restaurants/shops. The owner is a potter with unique coastal inspired pieces that she sells from her onsite studio. Our room had huge windows and a sliding door to a outside deck. Views from the house are stunning.

A very homely set-up with a room on the patio and a room inside the house. I think it should be noted that one of the bedrooms is in the owner's house. Very comfortable and clean. Loved the home made breakfast that was served in the main house.

Beautiful house and super comfy room and bed. A stone throw away from the beach with surfers having so much fun and beach sauna. Michele recommended a lovely local restaurant (The green room) that we walked to in 10 min, going through the nature reserve. Lovely cat cuddles with the 2 residents cats. The view of the sea from the patio is gorgeous especially with the complementary teas and coffees in the room. We had cycled through Chapman's peak and enjoyed a lovely and restfull night at Michele's. But the gem of this Airbnb is MIchele who is the perfect host. The breakfast is delicious and very generous, and Michele's recommendations, stories and attention to her visitors is lovely and make us all regret we only stayed one night!

The host Michelle and her partner were simply lovely. So warm and hospitable. Nothing was too much effort. A beautiful home from home experience with true South African hospitality in a stunning location.

Lovely hosts and great staff. I needed a break away from my home that was not more than 1 hour away. Perfect location for a few days. Also made it easy for me to visit other places during the day.

We unfortunately stayed with Michele for just one night, as we had a flight home the next day. When we arrived, all three of us (we were traveling with our son) were truly surprised—we hadn’t expected such a beautiful bed and breakfast. It’s so lovingly decorated and feels like a real place to relax and feel at home. We all grew very fond of Ozzie, the house dog. Lorraine prepared a wonderful breakfast for us with so much care, and I especially enjoyed spending time in the garden. Restaurants, cafés, and the ocean are all within walking distance, which made everything even more perfect. We would absolutely love to come back. Thank you so, so much!

Keine Klimaanlage, keine Dusche (nur Badewanne), sehr steile schmale Treppe zum Zimmer nach oben, keine Fliegenschutzgitter damit viele Mücken im Zimmer

Home far from home! So fühlt es sich an bei Michele! Es war sehr entspannend. Das Gesamthaus ist mit Geschmack eingerichtet. Die Lage ist sentationnell und es war sehr entspannend dort am Ende einer 3 Wochen Reise in SA zu verweilen. Man kann alle Sehenswürdigkeiten auf dem Kap (Gute Hoffnung, Muizenberg, Kapstadt, Simonstown, Bouldersbeach...) perfekt errreichen. Restaurants (GreenRoom hat eine tolle Karte und Atmosphere, Fisherman Garden: mega frische Fische und Prawns) sind zu Fuss zu erreichen und es ist sehr sicher. Wir werden zurückkommen!

Schönes Zimmer mit großzügigem Bad und Zugang zum Garten, die Lage ist perfekt, einmal über die Düne und schon ist man am traumhaften Strand von Kommetjie.

ein an sich nettes guesthouse.

es scheint nur wenige (2?) Zimmer zu geben, dennoch war dad Personal sehr überrascht, als wir mittags dort ankamen. das guesthouse sieht nett gemacht aus. allerdings hat es dort sehr intensiv nach faulen Algen gerochen. wir sind dann noch zum nahen stand, dort war der Geruch unerträglich. noch ohne wirklich einzuchecken sind wir wieder abgefahren, mit dieser Begründung. nachmittags hat die Leiterin/Besitzerin geschrieben, da ihr offensichtlich der Grund unserer Abreise nicht mitgeteilt wurde. Insgesamt keine gute Erfahrung

It’s a room in the house. A beautiful penthouse room with a balcony & a lovely view. There is a bathtub, basin & toilet in the room. It was very comfortable. We also got a lovely home made breakfast.

Fijne ruime en schone kamer met een balkon met uitzicht op zee. Ook fijn dat er een koelkast op de kamer is. De gastvrouw is zeer hartelijk en heeft leuke tips voor de omgeving. We voelden ons zeer welkom.

La ubicación es fantástica, especialmente para aquellos que quieran surfear o simplemente dar un bonito paseo por el pueblo o la playa, además está cerca en coche de una zona preciosa como es Misty cliffs, Scarborough y Cape point. Los gatos y el perro son cariñosos y los anfitriones fantásticos. Las instalaciones están muy limpias y muy bien equipadas. El desayuno también es fantástico y los anfitriones hacen lo posible para que esté todo a tu gusto. Además la zona es MUY MUY segura, tanto de día como de noche. Sin duda elegiría este alojamiento de nuevo.

Ruhige Lage sehr nahe am Strand und Restaurants in Fussdistanz. Michelle war sehr gastfreundlich, wir haben uns direkt wohlfegühlt. Parkplatz steht direkt vor dem Haus zur Verfügung.

Потрясающий дом и потрясающая хозяйка Мишель. Действительно, чувствуешь себя как дома. Номер просторный, балкон с видом на океан и окна с видом на закат. Классный завтрак. Пляж очень близко. Район очень безопасный. Все тихо, спокойно. Первую ночь я была единственным гостем. Еще в доме живет добрая собака и серьезный кот😀 В 5 минутах ходьбы есть магазин и рестораны. С радостью вернусь сюда снова. Ночью было немного прохладно, но простыни подогревались.

A stunning ocean view room in a safe and natural area. Super peaceful and beautiful. Loved the bath. As a woman travelling alone I felt super safe and at ease and well rested in the big bed. Great host.

This was our second stay with Michele. She does a wonderful job hosting and making your stay comfortable. Breakfast is simple and her table well laid out for guests. Fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs and toast. We were a five minute walk to two restaurants and two minutes to the beach. Note, the water is freezing!! But lots of surfers. Kommetjie remains one of my favorite places on the cape and her location is central and very quiet.

We loved our room and the proximity of the house to the sea and delicious places to eat and visit but especially our wonderful hosts and yummy breakfast. Thank you thank you and I came away with beautiful treasures

We had such a lovely room with a gorgeous view to the ocean. Delicious breakfasts every morning. It was a short walk across the meadow to restaurant and coffee shop and beach. We didn’t move our car for the three days we were there, we enjoyed pottering around Kommetjie and along the beautiful beach.

Close to the sea but in a low traffic cul-de-sac. Views to the sea and mountains. A real 'beach cottage' feel with lots of bright fabrics and furnishing. The host, Michelle, is very friendly and helpful.

No off-street parking, which Jo'bergers don't like.

I enjoyed the breakfast. No hot option but didn't matter to me.

Some rooms lack showers - not necessarily a problem but should be noted if you prefer a shower or cannot use a bathtub.

Beautiful, tastefully decorated B&B at the edge of a conservation area and just a short walk from the beach. Well located, close to amenities. Michele is a wonderful host, super welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay again, it was a pleasure.

We loved the quirky, bohemian feel of the guest house and the two bedrooms were very comfortable and spacious, sharing a balcony which looked out towards the beach and the nearby nature area. The hosts, Michele and Roger, were warm and welcoming, knowledgeable and enjoyed a chat. Michele is an artist too and her lovely ceramic work was displayed as part of a local artists weekend- so we had the benefit of seeing it too!

We really enjoyed our stay at Michelle’s house. It is absolutely beautiful and has an amazing view. The beach and some restaurants are in walking distance. Michele is such a lovely person! We would stay at her house again, when we are around!
