Clean room and great location.

Not sure where to begin. We booked two 2 persons rooms at VENUE hotel Joo chiat. We wanted East cost location that’s why we booked here. Very small windowless rooms with rundown painting and very worn and not practical furnitures. You have 4-5 hangers on a metal pipe with no wardrobe at all. The rooms are much smaller than the usual 2 persons rooms are and clearly not enough to be able to open up a single lagguage. The corridors, rooms, bathrooms stink and sinks are blocked. Dirt everywhere if you look at the furnitures, br facilities a bit closer. Floor is sticky. We walked through Very depressing. Finally when we decided to leave the hotel earlier and book at another hotel we came through fecea on the elevator floor. Ugh. What an unpleasant experience in beautiful Singapore!

Literally nothing exept the opennessof a hotel receptionist for my polite but completely desperate and negative feedback. Thanks for that, again.

The hotel's location is very convenient. The staff is quite helpful (although the one who greeted us during check in looked quite grumpy).

The room is clean, but not clean enough; we found small ants loitering around the vanity desk and near the bathroom sink. Nothing disruptive, but we were just wondering where they came from, as we didn't bring any food upon checking in. And the noises from the neighbor came through the walls quite clearly; as they are a karaoke pub, we could hear their singing quite clearly.

NO TENÍA VENTANA. El baño olía a tubería y el agua caliente duraba 2 minutos. Cada vez que pasaba por recepción me recordaban que debía 20€ cuando estaba teniendo problemas con mi aplicación del banco, no me iba a ir sin pagar no hacía falta recordármelo cada 5 minutos, un chico muy soso y hacía las cosas sin muchas ganas, la chica nos atendió bien.

La camera è piccolissima. Va bene se viaggi senza bagaglio. Perché entri nella stanza o tu o la valigia. Matrimoniale superior.

L’hotel è moderno e pulito, ogni giorno sostituiscono asciugamani e rifanno il letto abbiamo apprezzato molto la gentilezza e disponibilità dello staff. La zona è molto buona con metro a 15 min a piedi e bus vicino. Ci sono anche diverse attività come ristoranti e market, siamo rimasti davvero contenti.

La camera era senza finestre come molte della struttura. Ma prima di prenotare lo sapevamo già dato che era chiaramente segnalato quindi non ci lamentiamo

Good location in fact best chilled location in SG, Easy to check in.

Needs better pillows, mattresses. Needs to give more than just 1 pillow. Sleeping wasn't comfortable at all. Maybe for other activities on the bed is passable but sleeping itself is very limiting.

Great location for tourist

The hotel was nice, clean and in a great location with a lot of cafes and shops nearby.

AC doesn't work properly. It's extremely cold when it's on. The only option is to ask stuff to turn it off completely for you room (it's not hot without AC). Everything else was great.

Klimaanlage vorhanden und die Lage (JooChiat) war sehr schön, direkt an den bunten Häusern gelegen. Nette Cafés in der Gegend.

Kann die teilweise doch recht positiven Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Hatte ein Hotel gesucht und ja, Singapur ist pricy. Da blieb ich bei diesem hängen. Finde aber, die Bilder haben wenig mit der Realität zu tun. Mein Zimmer erinnerte mich an eine Gefängniszelle. Kein Fenster. Mein Bad hatte nur Klo und Dusche. Das kleine Waschbecken dann auf dieser kleinen Zeile im Raum. Mit 2 Hähnen total verbaut, Gesicht waschen schwierig. Seife oder sonstige Annehmlichkeiten suchte ich vergebens. Auf dem Schrank neben dem Bett noch die Ränder der Getränke der Vorgänger. Zu dem Innen „Design“ brauch ich glaub nichts sagen.

The hotel is located in the center of a town. Its very convenient for Grab. The staffs were really helpful and friendly.

Nice location, and good value. Small rooms but clean and nice comfortable beds. Good bathroom with hot water plus filtered water to drink. Lift to all floors.

Bed and pillows Chair (would be comfortable if it was clean properly.) Housekeeping guy very understanding.

The floor room not sweep/clean well as there is hair and worst toe nails. Top of chair dusty and kettle smells. The big mirror beside my bed is scary especially when I stay alone. Reception counter staff should be more approachable instead of busy with phone.

Size of the room, bathroom was tiny, shower flooded the bathroom, no room for luggage, windows were locked and shuttered which could prove very difficult in the event of a fire in the corridor.

Been here the third time. Had some issue with my booking and Regins handled it well, always friendly and helpful. Also kudos to the team members Aroy and Hoa. Super friendly and helpful. Cant wait to be back again. Location was good as well, easy accessible in the heart of Joo Chiat. You can stroll around and have a look at the beautiful peranakan houses.

Great value hotel with friendly staff and in a fantastic location. Great food everywhere and a supermarket 2 mins away. Nice distance for a stroll down to the sea and beach passing some local hawker food yummy.

Wifi was on the TV, which didn’t work until fixed by management…Not sure why you need to switch TV on at all?

The staffs are very good service especially Joseph and Eungine.

Accept our late check in and allowed us to check out an hour after the usual check out time. Location was ok and staff were attentative.

Because this booking was a group booking, one of the room #207 had faulty electronic and tv remote was not working. Room#211 power point was not working. It was reported and my collegue guest moved to room 201 to share room with another collegue. Hope the hotel fixed the defects for nxt guest use.

The shower ran out of warm water quite quickly.

Staffs - helped us to check-in & check out smoothly and also offered us the airport drop off services. Size of the room was fair according to the price we paid.

1. First impression, the smell. It smelled mouldy. (Probably the building must be really old or something) 2. The floor looked muddy/dirty. 3. The toilet seat is facing towards the shower screen glass and there’s not much gap between them. Your knees will hit the glass while sitting. 4. The water from the shower area gets all over the bathroom if you don’t put loads of bath mat/ towels. 5. I’m not sure but the buses were getting delayed around these areas and trains aren’t close by.

the location suits us well for the type of life we lead

the view could be better, but we understand the limitations in Singapore and value wise, we were pleased.

location and price is what makes it worth it. i did not expect it to be so nice and the friendly staff.

The shower room leaked water because there wasn’t something to block the water from seeping out.

It was clean, the AC is working as intended, maybe a bit too cold but ok considering the heat outside. I had a window with a view on a side street, clean towels, hygiene kit, fresh and filtered water, coffee and tea so you can prepare yourself and you have a safe and a mini fridge. The location is close to bus station and also to the subway station.

The walls are a bit thin, not too much insulation. The shower door is leaking water under it and the cabinet door is squeaking. Nothing else to complain about.

Great location close to great food and also a quick walk to the beach. Very friendly staff. My special thanks to Joseph for his friendly professionalism and care. Great value for money.

The toilet is not position well. It's too tight to even sit properly. Toilet should face the entrance instead of the shower screen.

The best feature of this hotel is its central location.

The washroom is very small and has an awkward design, making it difficult to use the toilet, and the shower wets the entire floor. The room also has no windows.

The staff is amazing, very attentive. The area where it is located is full of charm.

The room smelled VERY mouldy, the bathroom is very small and the floor is almost always going to get wet. It was ok for us because we were only staying one night, but I probably wouldn't stay longer.

Most of your staff are very helpful & friendly. Especially Regins she provide explained very clearly whenever we have queries. The knowledge & information that she gave us about travel within the city was great.

The water stopper at the glass door from our shower at 208 didnt function really well. It make our toilet & shower wet so horrible until it leaked out towards outside the shower area.
