We had such a fantastic stay at Kiani Beach Resort and would absolutely come back. We were upgraded to the All Inclusive Plus package, which included a room upgrade, unlimited drinks and cocktails, drinks stocked in our minibar, a bottle of wine in the room and a fruit basket on arrival, which made the stay feel really special. The resort has everything you could possibly need. The amenities are excellent and the whole place almost feels like a small village, with so much available on site that you really don’t need to leave unless you want to explore Crete. One of the unexpected highlights was getting 40% off at the resort supermarket, which was so useful for buying souvenirs, snacks and anything else we needed during our stay. The staff were lovely, the facilities were great, and the overall experience felt very relaxing and convenient. My husband and I would definitely stay here again.

- The three restaurants you could choose from were great, as you don't have to stay in the same restaurant for every meal, every day - The staff was very friendly to us and our little one. - The amenities for kids were amazing; the entertainment in the evening, as well as the playgrounds, the beach and pools. - Everything was accommodating to families with kids. There were so many families there and you felt like you belong there if you have a little one, compared to being on a resort without any other families where you feel the odd one out.

- The beds were not the most comfortable, especially the pillows. It would be great to have 2 different pillows (soft and hard) to accommodate for most people. For me, the pillows were too hard and too small/narrow (instead of a big pillow it's more of a rectangular one). - The food, although we did like it, is definitely better at other resorts. We went to another resort afterwards and all agreed that the food there was better. So this is something, even though it's good, that Kiani could improve on.

Has almost everything a kid needs to have fun. For parents though maybe some things are missing.

Food options basic and unfortunately only a few are food options which is a shame considering it’s an island.

The general layout and look of the whole hotel felt inviting, premium and an exciting place to be. We loved it for our first little family holiday. Wonderful sandy beach on site, dazzling selection of pools indoor and outdoor, all clean and fun to use, great all inclusive food and drink selection (if you can afford the all inclusive plus, it’s worth it for the mojitos alone), amazing amenities for small children - waterside, two well kitted kids parks, an arcade and soft play room. Lovely staff - particular thanks to Emmanuel and Thuli, the latter of whom made our meals each evening personable. Easy reach to the airport by car. We had a great time and would go back!

The beds were a little firm for my taste. We had the superior family room and the fire exit light was quite bright in the room which took a bit of getting used to for my wife and I. Fortunately our son was fine sleeping upstairs.

Lite småsaker i hotellrummet som kunde varit bättre städat för att trivseln skulle varit ännu bättre.

- The food variety and quality is nowhere close to 5-star hotel standards. It is not only the repetition and lack of variety, but when a dish is nice it is impossible to eat more than a few bites because of the extreme use of salt. Everything is extremely salty. - Do not have a massage at the spa. My massage was good enough, but then i was forced to leave a review in the tablet, and i rated good. The woman at the counter (i think Nathalie) literally interrogated me for 10 minutes why i did not rate ‘excellent’ instead of good. And she said ‘good’ means ‘bad’ in Greece.. i did not regret having the massage right afterwards but i did regret spending 100+ euros after this unusual and unnecessary experience. - Leaking showers doors in the room - The frequency of asking for feedback during meal time. It is okay to ask customers to write a feedback maybe once during your stay, but there was a guy who literally kept bringing card with a barcode code every meal. Once he even asked if i can scan the code and write a review in front of him while i was feeding my baby. Again, not very 5-starish..

Le personnel était très aimable et à l’écoute. La piscine dans la chambre était super. Les piscines communes très agréables. Plusieurs activités très bien également. La nourriture dans le Rooftop.

La nourriture laisse vraiment beaucoup à désiré, de mauvaise qualité et très peu varié, malgré les 3 buffets. Les boissons si vous n’avez pas le premium plus sont inbuvables. Le bar ferme à 23h00 … beaucoup trop tôt. Les parties communes (WC) sont très sales. La literie n’est pas top. Hotel très familiale je déconseille pour un groupe de jeunes.

I liked all the sports facilities, tennis, padel, squash and the swimming pools were beautiful. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Always trying to do more. The room was very comfortable and clean.

As we were a couple travelling with no children, it was a bit noisy for us. Would be nice to have a quiet adult only area.

Alles war einfach ausgezeichnet

To start off, we got a free upgrade to the all inclusive plus package when checking in, which was a nice surprise. The resort is simply perfect for a family vacation with a child - several playgrounds, two children pools, kids club activities, etc. There were plenty of food options (3 restaurants and a different theme every day in each of them), adult activities and a lovely location by the sea. The staff were always smiling and greeting the children and weren't bothered about the mess they make during meal times. In the end the hotel manager asked for honest feedback, which we also gave, and he seemed genuinely happy about the ideas and suggestions shared. Would definitely choose this hotel again in the future when visiting Crete!

One thing that was a bit annoying for us was that people were allowed to smoke everywhere. As it is such a popular hotel among families then our suggestion would be to have designated areas for smoking.

Everything was good for me. I had ultra all inclusive, food was good with lots of variety international drinks. The thing i didn’t like was that there is so many variety of food sometimes it is difficult to choose what to eat. ))

Room cleaning services was late afternoon, I suggest to make it a bit earlier. Because usually when I come back from pool or sea to have a rest at that moment room service comes to make a room.

Un excellent moment en famille dans ce très beau complexe familial. Le personnel est aux petits soins avec une mention spéciale pour Emmanuel à l'accueil, Mike le maître nageur et pour toute l'équipe d'animation (y compris le kids club !). C'est un hotel particulièrement bien adapté aux familles avec beaucoup d'espaces de jeux. La nourriture est bonne et variée si vous n'hésitez pas à changer de restaurants selon les thèmes. Dommage que nous y soyons restés que 4 nuits !

Beautiful location right by the sea. We had a gorgeous family room with a second level for the kids, including a second bathroom and toilet, which was very convenient.

For a 5-star property, the biggest disappointment was the lack of attention to detail. For example, early one morning the restaurant was being cleaned with a dirty, smelly floor cloth, which made the entire restaurant smell unpleasant. This is something a manager should notice and correct immediately — especially at a 5-star resort. The beach was another major disappointment. Since the property is called a Beach Resort and the sea is clearly one of its main attractions, we expected much more. The beach area is very small, poorly maintained, and not properly leveled, making it uncomfortable to lie on the beach loungers because they are on an angle. There are also old and broken umbrellas and many stones that could easily be removed. It feels like the beach has simply been forgotten. A little work with a tractor to widen and level the area would make a huge difference and turn it from a random, neglected beach into a proper 5-star resort beach. One last thing — the wine. I understand that Crete is not France and that the resort wants to offer better wine as part of the more expensive packages. Fair enough. But the complimentary wine should at least be drinkable. Unfortunately, what was served was truly terrible — so bad that your first instinct was to spit it out rather than swallow it. Maybe resort managers should taste it once, just to make sure it qualifies as wine!

Comincio subito con una considerazione: la struttura NON E’ ASSOLUTAMENTE un “CINQUE STELLE “ , a meno che in Grecia le stelle vengano regalate! Vado per punti: 1) cibo del buffet: quantità senza qualità.. in un tre stelle italiano la qualità sarebbe più alta.. cappuccino dalla macchinetta che sa di acqua, bevande al distributore imbevibili.. sanno di medicina..mancanza di igiene e pulizia., girano con dei carrelli enormi di plastica a raccogliere i residui di cibo degli altri tavoli mentre tu stai mangiando.. o provando a farlo, tutto scadente e sensazione di essere in una delle peggiori mense aziendali; 2) il tratto di spiaggia e’ il peggiore che io abbia visto a Creta.. sabbia ridotta a poco più di un metro , acqua marroncina e pesci che mordono, accesso al mare attraverso ponticelli di legno ridotti in stato pietoso, trecento persone che fanno la corsa alle sette di mattina per accaparrarsi uno dei venti lettini messi sulla sabbia perché gli altri sono tutti nel prato intorno alla piscina; 3) stanze da tre stelle., ci avevano assegnato una camera al piano terra nel fabbricato 1 a ridosso del mare e sembrava di essere andati a finire in una cantina a dormire.. puzza di umido, di fogna e zanzare ovunque. 4) all inclusive inesistente: dovresti mangiare e bere quello che vuoi ma ci sono tantissime cose non incluse e quello che e’ incluso è talmente di bassa qualità che rinunci, se non sei in all inclusive plus non ti danno neanche lo shampoo e il balsamo ma devi prenderlo dal dispenser automatico montato nella doccia, le asciugamani del mare le cambiano solo due volte a settimana e le cialde del caffè non sono incluse se non hai fatto la plus.. ovviamente esito finale della vacanza: abbiamo usato la struttura solo per dormire e la mattina, avendo la macchina, abbiamo fatto colazione in un piccolo bar vicino che serviva yogurt e pancake meravigliosi vista mare, abbiamo pranzato e cenato fuori e ci siamo accollati ovviamente ulteriori spese per mangiare.

The property is new, nice and clean. Is family friendly and all the facilities are clean and well maintained. The all inclusive formula varies a lot and give you a wide range of food choice. The room was great and very spacious

The beach is tighter than expected and there is no much space. The allergens indications were not always correct and displayed

Forse cercherei un po' più di varietà ai pasti, la qualità era valida ma spesso piatti molto simili, e le serate "a tema" avevano un paio di piatti tipici. Visto il livello del resort, non chiederei di pagare piccoli servizi quali il biliardo o la bilancia per i bagagli, lo trovo fastidioso.

Amazing room with private pool, very attentive and friendly staff. Despite the busy summer period, you could always find empty sun loungers which was great. The room was spotless and it was cleaned daily and replenished with clean towels and fridge was always restocked with water.

Perhaps the snacks choices during the day could have been better in quality and choice.

Easy and convenient. The hotel was at full capacity, but we had no issues getting great spots around the pool area. The kids club mini disco was fun for the kids. Most of the staff (waiters, bartenders, crepe makers) was service minded and very helpful, only very few were rude (reception/front desk). Acceptable waiting times at the bar for drinks and snacks. The fridge with fruit cups are great. The greek restaurant was the best of them. The shop/supermarket at the hotel is great and with fair prices. There is also a small shop a little bit further up the road with great stuff.

Upon arrival the staff very generously upgraded our room (but without letting us know), when we got to the room it was clear that this was not the one story room we had booked. The stairs to the kid beds was steep stone steps with no banister or anything to hold on to. One of the kids beds are leaned against a glass wall that does not go all the way up to the ceiling, and is not safe for leaving small children upstairs alone, as you are not able to move the furniture. We then called the reception to request the room we had booked, suitable for small children. The receptionist tried to convince us to stay, stating that it was a free upgrade, making snarky questions like “is your kid spiderman?” When explaining our worries about climbing and falling. We had to make multiple calls to the reception to finally getting them to move us to the type of room we had booked. The staff then made us feel like such an inconvenience, being rude and again with snarky remarks such as “ oh, we are really sorry about the upgrade”. It was clear that the hotel was fully booked, as the room that was then provided to us had not been cleaned properly, and they had to fill up the room with toiletries, towels and robes (on of them missing the belt and feeling used) while we were in the room. The floor also had to be washed. After a few minutes in the room it was clear that they did not want us in that room for a reason. Several things were broken. The door leading to the outside had handle parts broken off, the door separating the the kids beds and parent area was broken and did not close properly, the toilet brush handle was broken off, and several other minor things. Later in the reception one staff member who had been very welcoming to us before checking in (Emmanuel) could sense something was off and insisted we let him know. We listed the things that bothered us the most and he sent someone to fix it right away, however not all was fixed, and we decided to let it go.

The propriety was clean and comfort

The hotel is nice and offers plenty of activities for children. However, I have some comments regarding the food and drinks. The breakfast was not always good, and the quality of the food could be improved. The lunch selection was also quite limited, to the point that on some days we were not sure what to eat. We had a similar experience with dinner. The plates, cups, forks and knives were all different and did not look consistent. The coffee is served from machines and is not always good. The coffee cups were also all different. The soft drinks from the machines, especially the cola, were not good and were difficult to drink. Regarding the All Inclusive package, not all drinks are included. You have to pay an additional €20 per person for the “All Inclusive Plus” option. This was not clearly explained from the beginning and was disappointing to discover after arrival. On the positive side, the hotel is very clean and offers many activities for children.

Great resort for families especially with young kids. Helpful friendly staff. Food delicious and beach bars efficient offering snacks during the day. Entertainment/games for kids.

La qualité de la chambre au top : tant au niveau des équipements, de la literie, des serviettes etc Chambre nettoyée tous les jours (dommage d’avoir été réveillé deux fois à 9h par la femme de chambre). Nous avions également une piscine privée (upgrade) juste au top. Le personnel de chambre et de réception au top. Merci à eux.

Je n’ai jamais eu une qualité de resto aussi médiocre pour un resto 5 étoiles. La cuisine n’était pas bonne, peu de choix, peu variée … Les thèmes des soirées (cuisine espagnole, asiatique etc) par soirée n’étaient que peu respectés. Sur le papier ça vendait du rêve, mais une fois au buffet non merci. Le chef de salle du KBR2 ne sert à rien. À part avoir les bras croisés et regarder son personnel en baver … un responsable est un leader qui montre l’exemple et se retrousse les manches quand il faut.

The hotel was very well located. We were able to go the the sea or swimming pool during the same period of time. Even if it was a all inclusive hotel, we never felt it was too busy, always had space at the restaurant and didn't need to queue. The facilities were excellent

There is a padel court and the hotel provides the equipment but the rackets were not of great quality and the balls were in a poor condition.

Service et activités low cost, on est loin du 5 étoiles malgré un prix important. Nous avons été déçus par rapport à d’autres hôtels en Crète. Infrastructure vieillissante et pas entretenu. Il serait judicieux de revoir la formation du personnel.

Stunning location and the room we were given was a two bedroom split level apartment with two balconies and stunning views. Food was good for buffet food lots of variety with the three different restaurants in the separate buildings

Elements of the hotel are 5 star such as the room we stayed in but some of the hotel felt a little dated and the restaurants felt clinical in parts especially the middle cafeteria. The drinks are absolutely not 5 star quality and the wine was watery and juice like. We found some staff friendly but a couple of staff we felt were rude to us particularly the spa staff when trying to sell us massages.

The pool and the beach were great.

The desserts, fruit, tea, and coffee weren't up to a good standard — the quality could have been better. Also, between breakfast, lunch, and dinner times, there should be a place offering snacks, fruit, or non-alcoholic drinks for guests.

Le ménage qui n'était parfois pas fait ou fait très tardivement. Cela pose problème lorsque l'on attend que la poubelle des toilettes soit vidée. En outre, la qualité des plats n'était, parfois, pas au rendez-vous.

Ci si diverte ed e' perfetto per le famiglie. Noi ci siamo trovati benissimo. Un ringraziamento speciale per l'accoglienza dove ci e' stato fatto un upgrade gratuito della camera e all inclusive plus. Un altro ringraziamento speciali ai ragazzi del bar sulla spiaggia del turno pomeriggio sera per i fantastici cocktail che ci hanno preparato

Nice facilities and good buffet quality

Hotel and staff is not really from a 5 stars hotel. The feeling is of a mass tourism hotel, more like a cruise ship experience. Staff could be more polite.

Najlepsze miejsce na wakacje z dziećmi w jakim byłem. Na miejscu smaczne dania, duży wybór. Personel na każdym miejscu uśmiechnięty i pomocny. Na szczególną uwagę zasługują animatorki które z wielką pasją zapewniają wiele radości dzieciom. Pokoje czyste, przestronne. Wydajna klimatyzacja. Super hotel w bardzo fajnym miejscu. Zdecydowanie warty polecenia.

The place is ok if you are happy with beer and wine in plastic cups, lots of kids about and fairly loud music playing around the pool. If that's what you are looking for this place is perfect for you. Food not particularly good but then again we like Greek food rather than burgers and chips.

Modern, well-kept, and clean. The grounds are spacious and there is stroller accessibility everywhere (even if sometimes circuitous). The food was consistently excellent, with a special callout for the freshly made pizza, the meat pies, the fresh eggs for breakfast, and the grill. Rooms are nice, especially those with the private pool, which are plentiful. The large number of rooms with pools also means the second, newer pool isn’t crazy crowded all the time, which is also lovely. The daily mini-disco for children is so much fun; our daughter loved it. The on-prem market means that snacks and drinks and souvenirs are easily at hand. Plus, staff were really lovely. They helped us with our quite complicated bookings, and were pleasant throughout, even tho it took quite some time. Special shoutout to George, who personally took great care of us. We plan on returning, which we never do.

Name-brand drinks are not the default and not available at the restaurants for all-inclusive. You either buy from the market or the bar or get all-inclusive pro. Also, the WiFi is flaky and weak in various places, even in rooms. I often completely lost signal.

The sauna & steam should be free for all. Unnecessary extra beds in the room. The space could have been a lounge

The food was consistently delicious with a special shout out for the freshly made pizza the meat pies, the fresh eggs for breakfast and the grill. The rooms were nice, but the rooms with a private pool were amazing and they’re also many of them, which has the lovely side effect that the second newer Pool is not crowded all the time. The on premise market has snacks and drinks and souvenirs and clothes and swim toys. Everything is a stroller accessible, even if the path is sometimes circuitous the daily mini disco for kids was a lot of fun. Our daughter loved it and honestly, so did we. We never come back to the same hotel but this one is an exception and we already booked for the next year.

The Wi-Fi was flaky and even in our room I would sometimes lose signal and name-brand drinks are not the default so if you want a Name brand drink you need to purchase them from the market or the bar

Beautiful location, clean rooms, wonderful pool and excellent staff

The food in the Mediterranean and the international restaurants were not good at all. I have had way better buffets elsewhere. The Greek buffet restaurant was clearly better, but did not impress. Did not try the premium A la carte rooftop restaurant.

It was clean, the Greek cuisine was amazing. The looks were nice and the room pool was amazing

Entertainment is very poor. The cuisine theme nights had poor quality food. The lady who cooked the crepes is always rude and snappy to everyone. The snack fridge is dingy and dirty with very poor quality snacks. The ice cream is very poor quality. I had a lovely time however this place should definitely not be graded 5 stars.

The staff is truly amazing, from the guest relations managers to the cleaning team and the entertainment crew. Everyone genuinely does their best to make your stay unforgettable. We also thoroughly enjoyed all the meals; there is a lot of variety, and the KR3 restaurant was especially amazing for its delicious breakfast. We hope to be back again next summer!

The only downside is that, unfortunately, the beach wasn't as clean as it could be. However, this seems to be due to careless guests rather than the hotel itself. Many people don't return their empty drink glasses to the bar, leading to plastic waste like straws and bottle caps ending up on the beach and in the sea

The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, especially the reception team, who were always helpful and attentive. The Wi-Fi was excellent throughout our stay, and the hotel offers a large private parking area with plenty of space. Guests also have the option to upgrade to the All Inclusive Plus package, which includes a wide selection of international beverages. For added convenience, there is a car rental desk located inside the hotel, as well as a well-stocked market within the resort offering a good variety of products at reasonable prices. The resort features three themed restaurants serving a variety of cuisines. While the food was generally good and offered plenty of choice, the overall dining experience was satisfactory rather than outstanding. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with excellent facilities and friendly service.

The resort is located in a quiet and secluded area, approximately 12 km from Chania, making it ideal for guests seeking a relaxing getaway. However, there are no villages or towns within walking distance. Public transportation is available, with the nearest bus stop located around 700–800 meters from the resort. The evening entertainment program could be enhanced, as the variety and quality of activities may not fully meet the expectations of guests looking for more vibrant nightlife and evening attractions.

Unico neo che non mi è piaciuto non lavano in lavastoviglie e bicchieri di plastica rigida riutilizzabili ! Non mi è sembrato molto igienico infatti io pretendevo sempre il vetro !

Koko seurue piti iltaohjelmasta ja ruokavalikoimasta. Sen lisäksi jooga, padel, pomppulinnat, lastenkerho, hierontapalvelu ym. viihdytti reilun viikon aikana. Huone oli siisti ja kaikki toimi. Toukokuussa sisäallas oli paras paikka uida.

Ravintoloiden kova meteli oli ainoa häiritsevä asia. Hanajuomat ja jäätelöt eivät olleet kovin hyviä, mutta kelpasivat lapsille. Sisäaltaassa ei ollut matalampaa kohtaa lapsille.

Débarrasser un peu vite les assiettes. Pour un 5 etoiles les buffets ne correspondent pas ,sont plutôt un 4 étoiles aiurait été plus adapté..

I have to say the staff was beyond exceptional Fotini especially. We were there for 7 days and had a 3-year-old and 1-year-old. Now, during that period the resort was full to capacity and yet we felt like we were being treated as the only guests. When we checked out there were real tears from both sides having to leave!! The three separate chefs apparently have an ongoing competition, so each meal in all three different buffets had a delicate twist to try and outdo the other chef. Being a amateur chef myself I would say they did an exceptional job day after day, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Amenities and available snacks and drinks throughout the day were more than sufficient even without the upgrade but if you have a drink preference, the €20 a day upgrade is a real bargain.

The only thing I found odd was we had a two-story two-bedroom two bath unit and when the staff came in everyday even though they did an immaculate job cleaning they would not restock the towels in the upstairs bathroom
