Riverside Park Hotel

Lovely surroundings beside the River Slaney, great walkway along the sides of the river , very peaceful area

Work was being done outside & was a bit noisy in the morning but we were informed of this when we booked

Staff were brilliant

Had to check out at 12:30 😂

Room and food were great, a bit busy because it was hot and many families. Great bar staff and the 2-night porter were amazingly easygoing and courteously.

Noise from under the whether ladies running up and down bedroom corridors in the middle of the night looking for their room.

Good location if you are getting the early morning ferry home, but only after a wonderful stay in Beautiful Ireland. Friendly team on reception.

Bar service and variety was poor

Speed of bringing menus, taking orders

staff and hotel was nice

the food was horrible in the steakhouse and brang us out the wrong thing twice

Clean hotel and very helpful staff good bar and food

Great location , and staff are so friendly. Excellent customer service, despite being really busy.

Can’t think of anything.

There’re was a smell of urine in the room which was coming from the carpet, I told a cleaner but she just sprayed air freshener in the room. The smell was very bad

The staff were super friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was fantastic and was ordered and cooked on demand which was fantastic and made a chance from the usual Buffet breakfast. The young lady who was working the breakfast shift during my stay greeted all guests with a smile and was super helpful, I wish I’d have taken her name so I could give her a shout out here.

Stayed here many times before.

My bedroom was so dark.

The location was excellent i didnt have breakfast

Chill tub Iced water Food Nature walk

The room had no natural. Door locked

Bedroom & breakfast

Poor evening menu in bar

Service in the pub area was fine, but a touch slow. We sat for about 15 minutes before being asked for anything and it was not very busy. Staff was very friendly though.

De prachtige locatie, de mooie kamer, het lekkere ontbijt en de vriendelijke medewerkers.

Geen

A good-sized, clean room. Staff were all welcoming. The choice of fish for breakfast was especially good. Location by the river was very pleasant.

Food was lovely. Staff were very friendly. Rooms were clean. Pool was nice.

The room we were in was nice, but the beds were so uncomfortable. We didn't sleep great. And we were there for 3 nights. Jacuzzi was out of order.

Location, comfort, facilities.

Great hotel love it been few times will be back again

Nothing

Great location - can walk everywhere. Nice to be beside the river .

Our room was dark and dingy with a view of ugly roofing. We were offered a change of room but it wasn’t worth the hassle for two nights when we had jet lag .

Good hotel, good location

Nothing

The cleanliness and amenities we’re wonderful along with the location. We loved walking the Promenade into town. The food was exceptional. We enjoyed sitting in the bar and listening to music in the evening. A great time was had by everyone.

It was warm in the room to sleep even with a fan.

Very comfortable room

Staff lovely, rooms lovely. Really clean and comfortable. Food lovely but for two mistakes with orders of gluten free food would want all kitchen staff to be aware that if gluten free food ordered not to add anything containing gluten to plate after.(gluten free breakfast ordered but poached egg served on ordinary muffin, daughter had eaten half of it before I saw it and she was sick after.) Waitress was very nice and re ordered it but mistake made at dinner also so would want to highlight issue with kitchen staff. ) would still return to lovely hotel.

Issue highlighted above

Location was perfect and staff were polite and friendly. The Prom Bar was a fantastic place to lounge and have food and drinks. Food was excellent.

If I were to list one issue is that the room was pretty warm and was hard to cool.

Great location excellent breakfast

Breakfasts, rooms comfortable

Booked in as was getting married next day, i was allowed stay in room until time that suited me , staff were very friendly and accommodating - i was getting married in registry office so not linked to hotel. Also rejuvenate were very helpful and opened early for hair and makeup

Nothing, everything was peefect

Lovely hotel and views

The hair dryer in the bathroom, these hair dryers are no good for people drying thick hair. Proper good hair dryers are a must.

Great family room with small balcony and TV in the ceiling for kids - cool idea. Superb breakfast

No port in the bar

Food was amazing, lovely river walk, a playground right beside the hotel for the kids. Great buzz.

You have to queue for ages for everything. Drinks at the bar, over crowded...no space.

Location was perfect along with the hotel activities. We went really for the pool for my 5 year old.

Although rooms were clean, there was dust around the coffee stand and tv remote. There was an annoying blue line going through the TV. Maybe these things could be examined prior to guests arriving. We had a good stay regardless. Really enjoyed the Alamo restaurant. The staff in the restaurant and bar area were really great. 10 out of 10 for them.

Nice breakfast. Spacious rooms.

Older rooms a little tired. Rooms facing contruction have small window, dark, and no AC.

Food and housekeeping staff

Car parking exit area , which is small

Friendly staff. Stunning hotel.

Nothing. All was perfect

Location is great. Staff was very friendly

Bad smell in room. Reported it but no action taken.

Staff all very happy and friendly warm welcome and excellent hospitality. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Food delicious and great value.

I liked the food

Good location

Over priced, outdated and posing as a 4 star hotel

Good area

Only for the pain in my neck over the hard pillows it would of been fine

Great base for touring around Wexford. Excellent for families

Breakfast times were very busy & bit chaotic

EXCELLENT DINNER AND BREAKFAST

POOL CROWDED STEAM ROOM NOT HOT

The beds were comfortable.

There was building works going on which was noisy, the pool needs a revamp and our view from our room was just the building. There was two windows in the room, the smaller one didn’t have a curtain and let light in early morning. There’s no air con which is needed in summer.

Room, food

Price 🤣

Good quality food, helpful and friendly staff, good location.

Bedside tables and other furnishings have a (hard to see) downward slope at the edges so, while thinking I was placing my drink on a level surface, it wasn’t so drink spilt onto the floor! Happened to other items too.

Great location and views

Elevators are very slow to come or close

The room was very clean and very comfortable. Loved the kid area

The food was not good

Movie night for the kids, the pool, location, playground outside the door, friendliness of staff was fantastic. They were great with kids and service was very good.

The pool was great. And the cinema club was fantastic for the kids

Room was too hot ac only reached limited spots in our family . Telly above bed, which are connected to the headphones for children, had no children's channels or option to connect to Netflix or other service provider.

Excellent location very quiet staff very friendly and professional cleaning team excellent

I’d say be nice for tv to be upgraded so Netflix can be used

No breakfast .292 euros for a room for 2 nights. Disgrace

To pricey for a lot of nothing .work hoing on outside my bedroom window .no air in room .not able to open a window .

Food and staff were excellent

Room very basic

Love the location by the river.. Hotel was lovely

The security..there should be a card swipe to get into the hotel from the car park and the lifts for safety of guests

Breakfast was stunning, staff were so lovely

It’s not a huge complaint really, just that the shower the first night wouldn’t lower it’s temperature from the hottest temp at all but was fine by the next day, the room itself was fab although there was a tiny bit of a musty smell from something, and the bed felt like there was a slight dip, overall though none of it impacted our stay

The room dark and dingy wit renovationg going on
