Reviewed Sep 17, 2026Sehr freundliche Begrüßung von JP, der mit seinen Eltern das Guesthouse führt. Die Zimmer sind alle sehr stilvoll und liebevoll eingerichtet. Beim Frühstück wird auf die eigenen Wünsche eingegangen. Der Frühstücksraum ist eine Art Wintergarten mit einem tollen Blick auf das Meer. Die Lage ist sehr sicher in Bluewater Bay.
Man fühlt sich etwas beobachtet beim Frühstück. Außerdem hätten es mehr Handtücher sein können und die Badtür ist sehr laut. Wir hatten leider eine sehr kalte Nacht erwischt und haben etwas gefroren. Heizdecken auf der Matratze wären hier ein absoluter Gamechanger! In der direkten Umgebung gibt es leider keine Restaurants, aber mit dem Auto ist man schnell in der Innenstadt von Port Elizabeth.

There is no door between the bathroom and the actual room. But that’s just a personal preference especially if you will be travelling and sharing a space with someone else.

Dichtbij het strand. Leuke klein zwembad. Een leuke vriendelijk gast.
Geen veilig winkels dichtbij. Moest 20 min rijden om naar een winkel centrum te komen . De ijskast veels te klein . Kan bijna niks kwijt.

Our room and the fact that there is no door to the bathroom. I could hear everything happening in the toilet while resting on the bed.

Great location for my needs. Secure and close to the sea.
JP is an excellent host. He makes you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble.
I would have liked the option of a glass of wine with my dinner!

Reviewed May 21, 2025JP was a exceptional host. Booked for 2 weeks, ended up staying 3 weeks for work. No request to big or to small. Staff very friendly and professional. Cleanest place we have ever stayed in. Will definitely recommend for work or holiday.

Everything was just perfect
The guest house is located in a very good neighbourhood, quiet, by the beach. You can even see dolphins while having breakfast which is amazing. the property is very clean and there is a nice breakfast on offer.

Reviewed Mar 25, 2025Le Blue is a neat, safe and cosy guesthouse. My room was immaculate with everything I needed for a 2 night stay. I needed an iron and after a quick WhatsApp it was delivered to my room in minutes. JP and his father are friendly and gracious hosts and I'll wholeheartedly recommend this place.

Welcomed us with lots of smiles. Situated on the perfect spot for my fisherman. The rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast was delicious and made with love. We had a relaxing stay. Thank you JP, from Sutton Family.

Reviewed Dec 27, 2023Everything! JP gave a warm welcome on arrival and gave is more than enough info on arrival. Rooms were clean and beautiful. Location is great for scenic views and walking distance from beach (non swimming) and lagoon. Breakfast was great and they even sorted a packed one for us as we had to leave early on last day.
The rude neighbor across the road! As to Le Blue. We loved everything and would like to go again one day. Well worth it.

Reviewed May 3, 2023The host was very friendly and welcoming, and helpful with just anything we asked for. The room was very clean. Breakfast was very so so nice we enjoyed it. Overall we had a lovely experience here.
Please consider having a door for the toilet to make it more private.
The fresh smelling linen and beautiful decorations, convenience of NO LOADSHEDDING of the property… superb. Great host, JP goes an extra mile, beyond what is expected of a host, meets every request to the best of his ability…
