I recently stayed for one night at the InterContinental One Thousand Island Lake Resort, an IHG Hotel in Qiandaohu, and it was a delightful experience. The hotel's unique location, far from the hustle and bustle, offers a serene escape with a breathtaking view of the lake. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. My room was immaculate and very comfortable, featuring excellent amenities. The private balcony with a panoramic view of the lake was the highlight, perfect for relaxation and soaking in the beauty of the surroundings. The resort offers several additional services that enhance the stay. I particularly enjoyed the short hiking tour and the guided trip to the best spot to watch the sunset over the lake—an unforgettable experience! While the remote location adds to the charm and tranquility, it’s worth noting that the hotel is a 40-minute drive from the nearest town. I recommend driving or stocking up on essentials beforehand. Overall, the value for money is incredible, especially for the stunning views and peaceful ambiance. I highly recommend this resort to travelers seeking a quiet and rejuvenating getaway.

The scenery of the hotel is very charming and the facilities are very complete. It is very suitable for taking a vacation with family.The complimentary travel photos are also very nice.

It has the most beautiful view of the lake, featuring islands and sunsets. I recommend booking a room with a lake view; you will enjoy it. Everything in the room is so comfortable, and the style is cozy with lots of wood elements. The amenities are excellent. They also offer many activities to keep you always busy. The hotel boasts a beautiful botanical garden on the top of the mountain, many hiking trails, bicycle rentals, a spa, 2 restaurants (Chinese and Western), and a greenhouse—during my stay, you could go there to pick strawberries. There are many activities for kids too. The breakfast was amazing. Unfortunately, no one at the reception speaks English, so no one will tell you this information, and the brochures are only in Chinese. I didn’t feel that it was an international hotel. Also, it was my birthday, and no one even said "Happy Birthday," which is very odd and rude for such a level of hotel.

Very difficult to find someone who speaks English If it's your birthday - don't expect them to congratulate you

This hotel is absolutely stunning. Probably the prettiest place I have ever stayed at. You can easily spend a whole weekend at the resort. There are a lot of things to do, including Tennis, Bike, Swimming, The staff is friendly, the breakfest is amazing and the hotel restaurant and surrounding restaurants are also amazing.

Cleanliness should be improved particularly the pool area was not up to standard. As we went during holidays the restaurants only offered buffet and not a la carte. The food choice though was disappointing. Eg only choice of pasta was spicy and with sea food. No French fries on the buffet for kids. We got some when we asked, but as for a kid friendly hotel simple pasta and French fries is a must

Room with full lake view offers a broad water and island view. Resort is quiet during winter season. But the boat service still runs despite only a handful of guests using it. Room nicely decorated except the cheap looking and ill-matched floor. Overall a nice stay.

If you want to go to Thousand Island Lake, this has to be one of the top choices, especially if you want nature and solitude. The fact that there are no other hotels around the InterContinental is for me what made the hotel luxurious. If you want a lot of nightlife, activities, or shopping beyond the hotel itself, then this isn't the right choice for you. But peace and beauty or romance---it's a great choice. The rooms are big and comfortable, great pillow menu, great balcony and view. We visited when stink bugs were flying around, and the staff person who came when asked to remove the bugs was truly excellent. She was an example of great service. The hotel needs some repairs and additional staff. For example, the swimming pool and locker rooms at night were a total mess. The toilets were broken and clogged. This uncleanliness was pretty shocking. The night we ate at the restaurant, all the fresh local fish dishes were already sold out by around 7:30. I read a review that said to skip the hotel's boat ride to an island where you take a cable car to a view. I wish I listened. The view is not great and you don't see much of the lake and its islands on the way there and back. There should be a bette boat tour of the lake available, where people can enjoy seeing more of the type of gorgeous views that the lake is famous for. The view from the hotel's lake view room is really nice though. So was the sunset at the lighthouse. Improvements are needed to be considered 5 star.

Very good location and hostility.

Ask me pay the room fee via Alipay before my arrival. Very rude，inappropriate and unprofessional. I wonder if this Intercontinental is a real one. I use Booking for 10 years and always use my crediit card as guarantee all over the world. This is the first time to be asked prepay a desk pay booking.

Nice views of the lake

The staff kept 2 out of 3 swimming pools closed for no reason. Swimming pool staff shouting at kids, terrible customer service.

可能因為疫情關係，行政酒廊的待遇差了，平日雞尾酒時段只有好少數的小食及飲品供應，感到失望，但房間的湖景很美，酒店的打咭點也多

Hotel was super.They upgrade us to a.suite and as a family of 5 it was a great option.Staffs speak little.english but they are.ready to.help using translatore.Hotel.location surrounds.by nature. If you have a car it takes 30/45mm to reach the city center(due speed limit)but it worths if.you want to be immerse in.nature and some.peace.Fantastic holidays

Dining areas are a little outdated, choice of western food is very limited, quality of western food is average, most of the staff can't speak english, room a bit dusty, pool lifeguards smoking on the job.

It’s an absolutely lovely resort with beautiful rooms and excellent service. The views are beautiful. The restaurants are the only disappointing feature.

천도호 역에 내려서 약 50분정도 택시를타고 더 가야 호텔이 있습니다. 호텔은 매우 깨끗하고 시설이좋습니다. 주변 풍경도 너무 좋습니다. 조식도 괜찮았습니다. 다만 리조트 주변에 간식을 살만한곳이 없으므로, 과자같은 간식류는 별도로 준비해서 가는것이 좋습니다. You need to get off at Qian Dao hu Station and take a taxi for about 50 minutes to get to the hotel. The hotel is very clean and has good facilities. The surrounding scenery is so nice. Breakfast was fine. However, there is no place to buy snacks around the resort, so it is better to prepare snacks separately.

It was a fantastic stay. This is our return trip. We plan to go back next year. The food of the Chinese restaurant is fabulous.

It’s a nice hotel located at an isolated Island which is quite far away from the scenic spots. The room is huge with nice views, well-equipped. Staff are helpful but gym and restaurants don’t really meet a five star hotel standard.

洒店環境優美，但有點舊需要番新。建議暑假期間碰上太多小朋友入住，會有點嘈吵。這裏離市區車程需時30分鐘。

從面湖客房就可以欣賞到千島湖宜人的景緻 ，房間寬敞，客服人員還主動為我們免費加床，非常貼心， 那我們有非常美好的住宿體驗。酒店提供的導覽也非常優質，可惜當天是陰天，無法欣賞到夕陽景緻。 唯一美中不足的是 ，酒店位於東南湖區，對外聯絡交通非常不便，到中心湖區或城區需要40分鐘車程， 如果酒店能夠提供定時定點的shuttle bus 就非常完美了。

Beautiful lake, wonderful setting, great service combined with quiet and good food make this a ideal getaway. Three swimming pools, full sauna and spa, highly recommended. It is a bit far from local amenities (but that's some of the charm).

This hotel is the luxury resort in the area yet it does not keep the 5 star hotel services. 1st of all, it is really not convenient to get there unless you drive by yourself. The hotel is located by itself at the corner of a peninsular. It's about >25km to the town. The taxi driver is not very willing to go inside to pick you up or send you there (they will negotiate a back and forth price). You can try to use Didi (Chinese uber) to get them but usually takes quite a while to have a response. 2nd of all, given its unique position, the hotel provides services in a premium rate. For instance, asking a hotel to call cab costs you 4 times of regular price. Renting a bike costs 8 times (literally). Not mentioning renting a car, jet cruise and so on. It makes me feel that since we were stuck there, we had to buy the services from the hotel without any choice. Thank god I had to manage to use Didi to get out of there. 3rd of all, staffs are so not professional. I can't believe I was in 5 star hotels. It can't even be compared to those elite private boutique hotels. To me the service is mostly 3 star hotel (I am being nice to give 3 star). For example, at checkin, they just told me my breakfast were not included. I had to use VPN to connect to my gmail to show them my expedia order. The breakfast was very so so. The staffs are not familiar to the neighborhood. However, I do like to point out, the facility maintained quite ok. loved ping pang and the garden is so pretty

This is an amazing place with excellent top surroundings.

The resort is sensational in a beautiful location and has every comfort and then some. My only complaint has nothing to do with the hotel and is simply that the stunning Thousand Island Lake offers no water sports, no, not even swimming. Look, but don't touch the lake - so disappointing!

酒店位置在羡山半岛，适宜自驾游，比较安静。酒店工作人员很热情，酒店设施也不错，唯一一点是早上早餐的时候人太多，感觉比较嘈杂，不过这也是中国人的普遍现象嘛

酒店风景优美，设计独特，湖景房让人在一开门进去时会不由自主发出哇的赞叹声。冬天里来，温水泳池还是有点冷，没有宝宝玩的滑梯或篮球架之类，有点无趣。儿童乐园很大，可惜玩的东西不多。底楼只有两家餐厅，冬天暖气不足，大多数人穿着棉袄外套吃饭。酒店周围又只有一家农家乐，所以用餐体验实在很糟糕。点小火锅说需要准备二十分钟以上，点暖锅说需要四十五分钟以上。一连在酒店吃了四天饭，贵也就算了，点心也实在很糟糕。唯一留下印象觉得还不错的是土猪肉蒸茄子，值得一试。

千岛湖度假，入住洲际是最佳选择。

日中は幾つもアクティビティがあり、夏場はプールで遊べ飽きがこない。室内のプールは若干冷たかったが、その分人も少なくよく泳げた。夜はロビーで映画を上映して楽しめた。 食事に関しては味は良いがレストランがホテル内に２つしかないので長期滞在には外に出ることも必要かも。 夏場だったので夜でもプールを楽しめたが、ロビーでもどこでもバスローブの利用者がいるのが残念。

很好的一次体验 就是独占羡山半岛 … 太大了

酒店很安静，周围风景很好，房间很宽敞。不过服务一般，不太热情。早餐样式、味道都很一般，其他餐饮可选择的很少，性价比也不高。游泳池还不错，不过健身房比较小。总体来说，没有想象中惊艳，感觉价格相对服务略高了。

Amazing view, huge lovely room. A bit secluded but very beautiful nature, great resort, clean and nice swimming pool. If you are tired of foods in the hotel, try the nice foods at XIAN SHAN Restaurant which is about 150m away from the hotel.

Stayed for one night on the way to Hangzhou. The best spot to check out One Thousand Islands park sightseeing. Very secluded but worth to go if you like nature. Make sure to take a small road on top of the hill to get a full view. Hotel has everything you expect from 5 star hotel. Don't forget your swimming suits.

Stayed 3 nights at the Executive Suite in May 2015 during a business trip. The hotel is located at the end of the peninsula, so, very exclusive. The hotel ground is sprawling and our room is huge, facing the lake - wonderful view! Great experience walking around the hotel, with wonderful view of the lake and landscaping. The buffet breakfast at the restaurant has great spread. Pleasantly surprised that the pastry is of very good European standard, unlike most other hotels in China. As this hotel caters to mainly local families from nearby cities like Hangzhou and Shanghai, breakfast crowd can be rowdy and packed. Effectively, the service level can be affected due to the crowd. The service level at the club floor is more pleasant, though the breakfast spread is less and its open during weekends only. Our waitress Ms Even was very helpful and forthcoming with our requests. We had a wonderful dinner at the Chinese restaurant. The famous fish-head dish and the free ranging chicken soup were fantastic. The restaurant manager Jim was really helpful and knowledgeable of the cuisine in the restaurant. Overall, its a great stay, worth the 5 hours travel from Shanghai Pudong airport.

The staff at the all day dining should not be so insistent on the customer paying the bill prior to eating. The food quality needs to improve. All staff throughout the hotel should know open/close times for indoor pool, kids club, etc. very basic hotel knowledge. The hotel was beautiful and the grounds were even better.

An amazing hotel - solitude with amazing views. Architecture and decoration is in a class for itself and the nature it exquisitely maintained and used to highlight the unique location. Best hotel I have stayed at in China throughout the past 13 years!

在国内酒店里是一流的

环境幽静，娱乐设施丰富。 服务员个个面带笑容，轻声细语，服务贴心。尤其要赞扬，客房服务员发现我们每日要服药，便留条告知会多放一瓶水于房中。而餐厅服务员则主动询问是否要提供白开水以便我母亲用药。

酒店早餐一般. 當同一時間住客一起來吃早餐時要排隊等入坐及看見要在門口通道擺放檯子很難看像大排檔.室內泳池水太凍及住客要經酒店大堂進出往室內泳池很不便. 租單車收費50元/小時太貴. 浴室水龍頭當沾滿了沐浴露後很難開關. 酒店最好能提供免費車供客人往市中心.

1. 这个应该是全球范围内最便宜的洲际酒店之一了吧？（恕我孤陋寡闻） 2. 房间很宽敞大气。大量运用纯天然的木材，给人一种很厚重的感觉。落地窗有自动升降的窗帘。卫生间里有独立的衣帽间，独立的浴缸显得格调不凡但不是太实用（因为即使以最高水温放满水，仍会觉得有些冷）。床品很好，席梦思软硬适中，睡眠质量非常高。WIFI很快。 3. 负责任的说：早餐已经很丰盛了。 4. 体验了把泳池，冬天看着外面红色的植被游泳应该很惬意，惜乎水温太冷了。 5. 关于万向集团精心打造的十公里景观大道，植被的铺设确实很用心，但目前为止给人的感觉还像是房地产集团在楼盘里打造的绿化效果。何况去的时候是雾霾天，整个千岛湖水域一片灰蒙蒙，天际线模糊不清，感觉是风景衬不上酒店。

服务很不错，彬彬有礼并且比较热情。可惜雾霾的天气毁了湖景房的价值。
