Everything but specially the staff, they were super warm and always ready to help.

Breakfast could’ve been a little better or had some more variety.

All rooms with garden view are quiet and nice to sleep. You also have view of Buddha and other hotels from your balcony. But the main thing is zero traffic. Normal rooms for budget hotel.

All rooms to the street view are super noisy because of non stop traffic till 1-2am. And then you have a super bonus of garbage truck coming around 3-4am every night!!! And this idiots pushing full gas to make this garbage press work. So avoid this street side at all costs. We moved to the room with garden/Budda view.

Esperienza pessima! Al nostro arrivo dopo la registrazione ci chiedono 2000 bhat di cauzione, chiarisco che su booking avevo letto che la cauzione era di 1000 bhat così mi vengono restituiti i 1000 in eccesso. La camera era fatiscente, durante la settimana in cui ho soggiornato non è mai stato pulito il bagno e il pavimento. Luce scarsa, quando è finito il sapone non ci è stato più dato. Il cuscino del letto era sporco con evidenti macchie di sudore di precedenti ospiti. Lenzuola bucate e macchiate. Pavimenti con mattonelle rotte con il rischio di tagliarti i piedi. Gli Asciugamani da doccia dovevamo appoggiarli sul pavimento per farceli cambiare (altrimenti non li sostituivano) ed era sfilacciati e bucati con macchie. L'acqua che trovavamo nel frigo era di 1 bicchiere a testa al giorno. Dalla finestra della camera la vista era pessima, si vedeva una grata e le camere l'hotel di fronte, abbassando lo sguardo una tettoia con sopra sporcizia varia indice che non era mai stata pulita. La più brutta esperienza della mia vita

La localisation est le seul point fort de cet établissement

L’établissement n’est pas entretenu ni les espaces communs ni la chambre, sans parler de la chasse d’eau qui ne fonctionne pas.

Man får i stort sett vad man betalar för.

Rummen mot gatan är fruktansvärt bullriga pga hård trafik på genomfartsgatan utanför. Även på översta våningen stör det rejält.

Trivdes väldigt bra. Jättesnöll personal som kan vara vädigt flexibla. Ligger i nörheten av mpnga bra resturanger och den fina stranden. Tyvärr blev jag magsjuk på resan och fick spendera mycket tid mellan toalett och säng.

The staff is very enthusiastic. The room is relatively spacious and has a balcony. The geographical location is not near the main street, and it is relatively not so noisy.

The facilities are old, especially the shower. It is difficult to control at a stable temperature. The water is either too cold or too hot. The window of the bathroom can't be completely closed, and it affects rest when the wind is good. There is no light at the top of the room, and it is a little dark at night.

The beds were comfortable and the location was ideal for us. Cleaners came in daily.

We were placed in a room that was directly next to building works which started at 8:30am and didn’t finish till 9pm. This should have been communicated and the hotel wasn’t full so you would have thought they would have allocated a room away from the noise. We were out all day most days so didn’t impact our stay too much. The swimming pool was dirty and cloudy to the point you couldn't see the bottom and it appeared that the filters weren’t on. We did mention this and they emptied it, refilled but it was still cloudy water. Wifi advertised on the rooftop area but wasn’t on. We had no hot water in our room for the last three days of our stay and when we asked someone to have a look the response was ‘maybe tomorrow’. No water at all one day so couldn’t even flush the toilet Even though we had a ‘kitchenette’ they was no cutlery, crockery or cooking utensils and the hob didn’t work. Breakfast was very very basic and not worth paying for. (One choice of cereal, watermelon, toast but no butter, rice, eggs, small selection of salad and pancakes/waffles - no variation at all for the week and had to ask to bowls for cereal). Towels are very worn, overused and some were so worn they ripped at the edges. Whole place just looks a little rundown and uncared for.

I don't understand why this beautiful hotel is not so popular. It's comfortable, renovated, nice pool and bar. People are amazing. I stayed here 3 times. The Kata beach is reachable by foot (15 minutes or so, I suggest using a hidden path on the right side of Boathouse hotel) On the street you will find a lot of domestic restaurants and bars. I suggest having a vending machine on the roof top to have easily beer and an American pool in the restaurant downstairs.

Maybe fixing the shower could add more comfort.

Very expensive. Way overpriced for what it is.

Hot water did not work for my entire stay, there was no water at all on the second day of my stay, came to the room just drenched in sweat and sunscreen lotion and i couldn't shower and freshen up for my dinner out so i had to go out like that. The lock on the door didn't feel secure, there was no dead bolt. I wouldn't go back.

This hotel has so much potential to be something more. Sadly the owner want to sell it for the last 6 years and put minimum effort to the hotel. Coffee is bad, breakfast is a joke, and room was missing soap for washing hands. But location is good, staff is friendly, AC seem to New and worked well. WiFi is ok. I hope someone want to invest in this place since it has good potential. I don't mind going back again.

We've got a room with a mountains view. It was perfect, we could enjoy evening and mornings with beautiful view. It was quiet. There are cutlery, bowls and cups, so we could sometimes to stay at home and make food. Nice place on the roof top.

Full of positive comments for this place - so much so i have booked again for 4 weeks next time. The location is perfect, and i have stayed in Kata beach before. The staff are lovely, and extremely helpful. My room was a little tired but i noticed the rooms are being renovated. The street is lined with everything you need from coffee to thai food, massage and bbq. Its a nice walk to the beach and main busy area. extremely safe for lone female travellers. Absolutely loved it.

Room basic but clean ... but no issues given the price. Shower pressure not good. Pool was green and no way would I use it ... needed emptying,cleaning and guessing pumps needed some work. Despite menus beibmng out no foid availabe...not the end of the world. Overall for what I paid, am generally ok but was disappointed about the pool...

The rooftop bar with Pool. We even used this for our birthday celebration because we fell in love with the place last time we checked in here. The Manager K'Don is so accommodating and kind. The staff Souk, Kata and Meh ( I don't know if I heard the name correctly) are so helpful with our needs. Surely will book here again.

I was a bit skeptical about staying in this budget hotel, having seen words like "tired" "worn" and "bugs in lighting fixtures" in previous reviews. Than again, most reviews are quite dated, from the pre-COVID era. Seems the studios got overhauled, because in May '23 I found the rooms freshly painted, clean and well-kept, with new furniture and built-in LED lights. The lift is shiny, quiet and fast, the rooftop pool is enjoyable and the micro - lotus - lake is charming. The Burmese family taking care of the hotel are very friendly and helpful. Crystal brand drinking water came in glass bottles daily. The kitchen on the balcony is a nice addition, although I only managed to do some eggs with bacon once. FoodPanda smartphone App works great and has English interface - great for ordering both food and groceries to your doorstep. There are quite a few restaurants within 5 min walking in both directions. Istanbul I enjoyed most, Highway Curry Indian and French Natalie's are also worth recommending. Kataview Guesthouse down the road did an excellent job with my laundry, packed it so tight in a plastic bag, that I found extra space in my suitcase on the flight back.

Unfortunately, the Family Mart next door and the restaurant downstairs you see in the pictures no longer function, let's hope they will return with the tourists. One evening there was a problem with the water pumps and I ended up without tap water on the 5th floor. The hosts opened another studio on the second floor for me, which I used for toilet and shower only. The next morning the problem was fixed. My only remark would be about the towels. Spotlessly clean, but a little worn, might need replacing.

Balcony was nice.

Room was old and not taken care of. Towels were old and ripped up. No hot water the first day, they fixed it the second day but left a mess in the room. Appeared to be mold in the shower. A/C worked but was loud. Would spend more money next time to stay somewhere else.

Although the hotel needs a little bit of a make over our recent 13 night stay was excellent, comfortable big bed, decent air conditioning, fridge ,safe and kettle, the bathrooms were where the refurbishment was needed most although again always plenty of hot water,we were room only and only tried breakfast once which again was fine, the rooms were cleaned to a good standard and towels changed daily, location is about 10 minutes walk to beach but close to some very nice restaurants, the best part about the hotel were the staff always smiling and ready to help with any problems, thanks for a lovely stay

Dejligt lille guesthouse, med et super venligt personale. Beliggenheden kunne være bedre, men ikke noget stort problem.

ボトルの水の補充がお願いしないと補充がなかった。備え付けのシャンプーのボトルが普通に使っていたら落下して壊れ、結局チェックアウトするまで直らなかった。

A satisfactory stay. Very friendly & helpful services and fine location. However, the room was way too old, especially the bathroom where the shower can’t work properly.

Located a short walk to the main beach and town, didn’t use the pool. Bed was comfortable and shower hot and powerful. Some areas of the room looked dated but overall a good stay for the price.

I recently stayed for 5 weeks at this hotel and have no real complaints. Rooms are big and the little balconies are great. Bed and room were made up/ cleaned every day and the staff were very friendly and the foods great. The roof top pool was really good with amazing views. Beds were a bit firm and the hot water wasn't over hot. Other than that its a great hotel.

B целом отель не плохой, комнаты просторные, есть лоджия с кухней. Но все очень изношенное. Два раза переселяли в другие номера, то кондиционер не работает, то канализация. Всю ночь какой то грохот за окном, так и не выясниои от чего.... Обслуживающий персонал (уборщицы) не клали туалетную бумагу. На рецепшене относились доброжелательно, но решение проблемы заканчивалось очередным переселением в другой номер. От моря быстрым шагом минут 10-15.

My room was clean, good size, smoking balcony and it is a very good value for money. The beach is 10 mins away by foot and there is all around, Family Mart, rent a motorcycle, restaurant, laundry,...The staff is amazing, very helpful with sense of service. Very nice rooftop swimming pool. At the end it is a nice place to stay in Kata.

It was an ok place to stay. The staff were super nice and friendly everyday we saw them and helpful. It was generally clean but not thoroughly clean. There were signs of that. The 2 rooms we stayed in were in need of repair. It came across as Maintenance is not a priority. Some cupboards were either broken or really old and needed to be replaced. Some hinges also needed to be replaced.

Hotellet bærer preg av alder. Vi var der to netter. Sengen er hard og putene så høy at nakken er vond før du sovner. Rundt mikroen krydde det av pitte små fluer. Det var støv på alle overflater så det bar preg av generelt dårlig renhold. Frokosten var også av det kjipe slaget, man er ikke mett etterpå. Ville ikke anbefalt dette hotellet videre.

We stayed here for 6 days and loved every minute of it, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, they always greet you with a smile. The rooms are a great size perfect for two people, the pool is amazing with a view right into the adjacent forrest. A short walk down to kata beach and the restuarant below is superb. There is also a Family Mart right next door to add to the convenience of things. I would definitely recommend this place for a visit. Thank you to all the staff at Kata Beach Studio for making our trip that much better.

Hotel was not on actual location on map...a bit off... However. it's about 10-15 mins walk to the beach...Plenty of food restaurant along the way & around Kata area as well as shopping stuffs. Next to hotel is A Family Mart convenient shop. Was quiet when we were there & had the pool to ourselves.. Breakfast was a set menu to choose from & was adequate.

Nice clean rooms with kitchen facilities. Staff is very friendly and can speak English. I would definitely visit again and recommend to everyone.

A lovely studio hotel with a fresh, clan appearanc and ambiance. On a main road with plenty of Tuk Tuks and taxis. Friendly, obliging and helpful staff. Pavement side restaurant in the open air and covered. Nearby pubs and restaurants to choose from. Numerous cultures. Close enough to Kata beach which is lovely. Lots of people from Europe. Best do some research into nearby Karon beach. We have been told about numerous drownings due to rip tides. However, we have no specific knowledge about this, but we would wish that our TripAdvisor readers have a safe and happy visit.

Freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal. Spartanische Einrichtungen im Zimmer. Fussmarsch zum Strand ca. 20 Minuten über Hauptstrasse zum Teil ohne Gehsteig.

Ok men inte mer , väldigt slitet o städningen var sisådär . Där var sand i duschen som var kvar från tidigare gäster o den städades aldrig bort Trevlig personal och tyst ställe. Låg för långt från stranden. Kommer inte boka här igen

Hadde et flott opphold her på Kata Beach Studio. Vi bestilte først to netter, og var veldig fornøyde med service og verdien for pengene. Bassenget er rent, og hotellet er grei størrelse. Litt harde senger men jeg har skjønt at det er normen i Thailand. Ikke noe utsikt til stranden, men er du heldig får du se litt av The Great Buddha. Etter to netter dro vi til et annet hotell i Patong, men valgte neste dag å sjekke ut tidlig og heller komme tilbake til Kata og Kata Beach Studio. Området er roligere, og det er ti minutter å gå til stranda. Mye god mat rett i nærheten, og restauranten på hotellet er helt ok. Må virkelig berømme servicen her! Så hjelpsomme og smilende! De hjelper med booking og anbefalinger, og alt annet man trenger.

Good basic hotel with a nice pool area. Place in the hotels.com map is wrong. It is bit further from the beach that map shows.

В целом отель не плохой. В номере кроме стандартного набора принадлежностей есть микроволновая печь и на балконе поставлена электроплитка и раковина. Небольшой бассейн на 5 этаже (на крыше), открыт с 8 утра до 8.30 вечера. Хотелось бы чтоб бассейн работал больше часов, особенно вечером. Прямо у отеля есть магазин FamilyMart, пиццерия, кафе Chai Thai Food. Главный недостаток - от основной улицы Kata Road до отеля идти 500 метров по неудобной дороге ( узкие обочины и в горку), от пляжа Ката - 700 метров.

Good size room with very comfortable bed and large separate bathroom. Large balcony with cooking facilities but no plates or cutlery provided. Very friendly staff - quickest check in I have ever had. Many English channels on the tv and good wifi in the room. The roof top pool is quite small and does not have much shelter from the sun. Hot water in the shower tended to come and go a bit. The only real problem was that the hotel is NOT where shown on the map on all the web sites. It is several hundred metres further down the road. It is at least a 10 -15 minute walk to the beach along a very busy road with few footpaths. I hired a motor scooter!! Overall a good hotel . It seems a pity that they try and deceive people by showing the wrong location. I would not have booked it if I had known the true location!!

Prisvärt, rent och fräscht hotell. Nya handdukar varje dag och dessutom fick man låna strandhanddukar. Slitna möbler i rummet och för hårda kuddar.

This is a lovely place at a great price. A comfy 8-minute walk to the beach means I was close enough not to break a sweat but far enough from the busy-ness of the Kata Beach core. There's a great, cheap laundry service right across the street, and a beautiful mountain view from the rooms. A wonderful place. The only downside is that their restaurant isn't the best quality, and I am 80% sure I got food poisoning from eating there. It could have been from somewhere else though.

The friendly staff make guests feel right at home. Aircon, fridge and lovely kitchenette out on the balcony - all clean and working nicely. The restaurant downstairs is great too! Bar and swimming pool up on the roof is an awesome spot for sundowners with a view. Really enjoyed staying here!

We were travelling with two teenagers, and they liked it also! Our rooms were clean, and good size. First night we had problems with the A/C, and the next day when I told them, they changed our room without any questions. The beach is 10 mins away, which I think it is good, because if you have a big meal, at least you have time for the food to settle. The balcony was also nice sized. So what if the fire place , or the fridge is a bit rusty, who cares? You can have blue towels for free, that you can take to the beach. They have also very good food. And the staff is amazing, very helpful and good sense of humor. In the 4 days, what I noticed is, that they are constantly developing. So in time, probably they are going to change the rusty fridge,so that everybody is happy 😁. Thank you for a nice time in Kata beach!

Хороший отель, на спокойной улочке, до пляжа 500 метров. Бассейн на крыше приятное дополнение. В кафе прекрасно готовят!

I regret choosing this hotel for our first 2 days stay at Kata Beach. Dirty bed sheets, broken tap supply, dirty commode. The stove never worked as it was rusted. Towels are smelling chlorine and were yellow. Road side rooms are so noisy you can't sleep at night. We request for the room on other side and we're told they are fully booked. Whereas, I already saw empty rooms. Staff was rude and not at all professional. Down stairs restaurant charged 50 bhat for delivering food to room on 3rd floor. Forget about paying with credit card because they charge 5% bank charge. I understand Phuket is touristy city but this kind of greed is unimaginable. There are plenty of hotels available for less than half the price. I won't recommend this hotel for 50$/night. All photos on agoda are photo shopped. Be careful with what you chose, in Phuket... you don't really get what you pay for.

Bra service. Kom tidigt på morgonen och dom fixade så att vi fick rummet extra tidigt. Bra restaurang och stort plus att dom hade vespor att hyra. Poolen va mindre än man fick intryck av bilderna.

Kjempekoselig opphold, fantastisk betjening. Koselig takterrasse. Har vært der før, og gleder oss til å komme tilbake.

I really liked my stay here. Staff were very serviceminded, nothing was impossible and attitude always smiling and helpful. Location is good, just some 8-10 minutes walk to the beach, and supermarket, rental of scooters and laundry service are very close. Good food from the little restaurant in the reception, and cheap as well. Good size of rooms, good cleaning. Didn't use the kitchenette, but it is located outside so you can actually sit and eat "open air" . Alway situated close to a road, I didn't notice any noise - only the rooster which sometimes is to be heard from the laundry service in front of the hotel (not something that is negative). Little pool on the rooftop which is not the biggest, but does the trick.Will warmly recommend this hotel - only little drawback was some outage on the wifi in the room, but the staff was also here always ready to assist.

traveling with my wife and our 2 sons aged 3 and 6. booked through booking on the morning of our arrival for a change of area for our last few days, of a 30 day trip round the Andaman coast. The room smelt and was covered in mold and the bedding was wet, we changed to another room which was the same. I explained the situation to the staffeta and that it was unsafe to sleep in a wet moldy room and then they changed their attitude and refused to refund me my money for the stay. they even checked the staff and agreed but still refused to refund me. out of 12 hotels we stayed in on our travels this was the most expensive and by far the worst quality. booking.com have since emailed them on my behalf 6 times with no reply. do not stay here. not sure why the rooms were so bad, they were on the top floor and both on the same side of the building so many just that area of the roof was damaged but the staffs attitude was so so poor and for a country we love due to the peoples love for life.

We booked the hotel thinking that it is near the beach but it in fact a 10-15 minute uphill/downhill walk with no proper pavements. The staff are friendly and helpful but the hotel is let down by the poor condition of the room. The room/bedsheets had a smell (maybe from mothballs?). The bed was uncomfortable and had a hole in the centre of the bed. You can even feel the bed springs poking into your back. We were informed that there will be a power cut at 9am the next day but were not told of a water cut. We were due to check out that day and i needed a shower in the morning because our flight back was at 10pm. We have to buy gallons of mineral water so that we can take a shower. Nothing that they can do about this, unfortunately, but we were told about the water, we would have woken up much earlier in the morning to have a shower.

Apart from no water pressure at all in shower, It is clean, cozy and comfortable!

Restaurant very good but room disappointing. Only recommendation is the cheap rate.

The staffs are friendly and helpful. Bacolny is fun to have. I love the bench. We love the jacuzzi and steam room too
