In need of refurbishment. The room was extremely hot. Although the food was good in the restaurant there was unfortunately few people in there so lacked atmosphere. There was a fusty smell in the corridor outside our room.

The room/ decor was slightly dated, very clean though. The breakfast room was hard to find with signs giving different directions. Service at breakfast was somewhat disjointed with different items arriving separately and only following further requests to staff who again were very friendly and helpful. There were some issues with freshness/quality of the toast which was raised with staff who acted promptly to rectify the issue and apologised.

Very noisy room because of the old windows. The bathroom was small and old, not normal for a 4* hotel. It was a problem with the water but they managed to fixe it fast. I understand that is an old building but still...

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Hotel is very central in the town. Staff are excellent andf very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is top quality with choices for everyone. Amazing views of the River Moy from the rooms and restaurant for diner.
There was building work being done on the outside of the building which impacted some of our view from the bedroom looking at scaffolding.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2026The lovely staff, they are all just above and beyond in all ways possible. Kind, helpful, accommodating, and a pleasure to know. This place provided such a wonderful experience. The room was so comfortable, the restaurant and bar were fantastic. It felt like home away from home except it was better because they really do look after their guests.

Holiday mode breakfast finished 9 30 way to early. Tried to get a sandwich about 7 30pm nothing available only dinner menu. Bed wasn't very comfortable small double for 200e at least a king size bed should be in the room
