Teach Saoire

Teach Saoire is an amazing property located centrally to Ballina. We easily parked in the clearly marked private parking space and collected the keys from a lock box located at the front door. The neighborhood is safe and perfectly situated from restaurants, pubs, grocery stores, and amenities. The property is clean and well cared for. Well decorated and furnished. Very comfortable and welcoming. The hosts communicated clearly and were very accommodating with recommendations and information.

The house is nice, in walking distance to the town, shops and pubs, but still in a quiet area th relax after a busy day. There is a reserved parking space for the house just outside of the house.

Forse i due piani di scale non sono comodi per portare su la valigia ma è un dettaglio che non incide sulla valutazione. Letto matrimoniale alla francese un po' stretto per chi è alto 190cm, ma anche questo è un dettaglio.

La décoration de l'appartement est magnifique, nous nous y sommes sentis tout de suite comme à la maison. La literie est très qualitative et la propreté incroyable. De plus, plein de petites attentions étaient offertes : beurre et confiture pour le petit déjeuner ce qui a été très agréable pour les motards que nous sommes avec peu de place dans les bagages. Une belle surprise ! Les équipements sont vraiment parfaits. Tout est pensé pour notre confort dans les moindres détails. Nous avons adoré notre séjour !

The interior was recently refurbished very tastefully. Lovely decorations everywhere. The heaters are brand new too. Location conveniently in the city center.

I was only able to stay three nights instead of the booked two weeks, as the landlord decided to call the police on me without any preliminary warning or even without kindly asking me not to accept any guests, even though it was not in his guest policy that no outside guests are allowed. I would've had no issue with leaving the next day with a refund of the remaining days, which he initially refunded, but then a minute later suddenly decided to charge me again the whole booking, and held it until he would conduct an inspection whether there were any damages. I asked if I can be there for said inspection, but he never replied, and I couldn't wait any longer. Weeks later I asked customer service what was going on, and they passed down the landlord's message that no damages were found, but because I had SEX in the apartment, they had to do a DEEP cleaning for 300€. What a disgusting way to rob someone by slutshaming them. I finally received my refund, which was still 200€ lower than what they were supposed to give with the completely unnecessary deep cleaning included. I knew it was suspicious when they were overly nice in the beginning. The shower plug was never cleaned before I did. It was full of accumulated hair of all the tenants before me. I cleaned more than what they had to clean after me. Foreigners should note that the electric shower is made for survival, not comfort.

Great location, only a few minutes walk into Ballina town. Very clean and comfortable. The hosts provided everything you could need.

The location was great! Close to all amenities. The hosts had thought of everything. And the hosts were so quick to respond to any questions.

The house was great for us (senior couple) - clean, well equipped, comfortable, walking distance to the downtown, grocery stores, restaurants, bakeries, book stores, gift shops, etc. Safe and quiet neighbourhood.

Couldn’t turn off the blue strip lighting in one of the bedrooms despite unplugging everything. Had to cover it with my clothing to make the room dark enough for me to sleep in.

Lovely apartment in an excellent location, a few minutes stroll away from the town centre. Also, very close to the train station which is handy if travelling to and from Ballina by train. The apartment is spacious, quiet, very cosy and also very clean! Has all amenities required for a very comfortable stay. Will be returning again !!

Perfect place to stay for our family of 4. The location was great, the area was really quiet yet 5 mins to the centre of town. The place was exceptionally furnished and decorated. The living room was a beautiful relaxing space to spend the evening. Hosts were very accommodating and friendly.

Teach Saoire is a wonderful spot on a quiet street, with private parking and laundry, mere steps from the heart of Ballina. The three of us felt totally at home here. The apartment is beautifully appointed and our hosts were responsive and accommodating. We'll be back!

I couldnt stay longer

Very clean apartment with a fully furnished kitchen and a large living room. It is complete with a dish washer and a washing machine. The fridge is stocked with soda drink, butter and fresh milk.

It is a townhouse with stairs. Not ideal it you have large suitcases. There is only one toilet for the four of us.

Lovely house, so clean and beautifully laid out and decorated, we enjoyed a very comfortable overnight stay. The owners communicate so well which makes the whole experience easy. The little touches such as the pint of milk in the fridge make all the difference.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Teach Saoire. The apartment was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated and well equipped. Myself and my partner made an error with the dates we had booked and Lubka and Paul accommodated our request to change last minute which we were really greatful for. Overall the cleanest and most modern apartment we have ever stayed in, we will definitely be back.
